With its large piercing red eye, the drumming of its legs, and the loud grinding and gnashing of its ancient mechanical innards you can easily sense the Hanmuru Doll’s presence in the darkness of the room. Even if you were robbed of your headlamp and left in the pitch blackness, the sickening stench of mold, blood, and rusted metal would inform you of the Reaverbot’s whereabouts.

You don’t even have to make a conscious effort to recognize what you’re up against. Anyone who’s listened to an adventurous radio program, heard the tales of an old Digger, or paid attention to frightening rumors passed around a bar would know what a Hanmuru Doll was.

With caterpillar legs, massive crushing arms, and an almost berserker approach to killing, the Hanmuru Doll was infamous for its power and capacity for killing. Not only was it known for wiping out entire teams of experienced diggers, but during the Week of Ruin it pounded roads, towns, and entire cities into piles of broken stone and blood.

This infamous killing machine stands between you and a chest containing the last key needed to open a door in this ruin that is surely protecting something VERY important. However grabbing and going isn’t an option as large reinforced plates now cover the exits to this large, almost arenas like room.

Locking eyes with this avatar of destruction you realize the only way you’re getting out of this alive is by fighting with everything you have. As you raise your Bustergun and the Hanmuru Doll charges at you from the other side of the room, your breath nearly catches in your throat as a wave of fear pulsates through your body.

Adrenaline spirals through your veins and your heart begins to hammer in your chest as the Hanmuru Doll charges at you, its long arms outstretched and its fat metal digits snapping together like the hands of a giant child trying to grab a bug off the floor. Despite your body and your foe doing everything possible to disorient you with fear you stay calm and keep focus, rolling suddenly to the side as the Hanmuru Doll’s hands smash down into the part of the floor you had been standing on moments before.

You need to decide a plan of action on how to combat this
Reaverbot. It’s large, fast, and strong enough to crush a man with relative ease if that corpse you found earlier was anything to indicate. However everything and everyone has weaknesses, and surely the Hanmuru Doll is no acceptation. This room is large and you have tons of room to run and maneuver. There are no obstacles of any kind in the room and it’s mostly empty save for the chest at the back of the room.

It’s not a lot to work with, but it’s better than a small walkway surrounded by water. You have your Bustergun and what you have in your bag to work with.

What is your course of action Bass?

Flare to the face. Then try to climb on its back. Maybe use some rope to tie yourself to it.

Do we have a grappling hook? We could try that trick from the Empire Strikes Back where they tied the AT-AT walker's legs together.

Also, try to speak with it. At least yell something in the Old Tongue, maybe it'll confuse it.
>>
>>29973859
I'm not sure tripping it up will work. It's got plenty of strength to break free from the rope. Also, even if it doesn't, it already walks with short shuffling steps, it won't see that much of a loss of mobility.

That'd probably work.

I don't think it can swim either, so maybe we can lure it to fall into a nearby pool or something.
>>
>>29973981
No, don't do that. Intact Hanmaru eyes are a Grade 1 national treasure! According to the curator of a dinky little museum on Kattleox island, who knows if she's right. Still, probably worth something.

You can't spy an obvious weaknesses from a glance, the Hanmuru looks incredibly solid even with all the moss growing over it and the discoloration of it's armor. There isn't any gaps or spaces in the armor, even near the joints.

Still, you could probably try grabbing and climbing onto it's back despite not really being much of a climber. You'd only have one arm to work with since the Bustergun takes up your right arm, but the Hanmuru Doll shouldn't be able to grab you if you position yourself carefully.

>>29973859
>>29973763
You could easily fire off a flare at it, but you don't know if it'll blind it or not. So far Reaverbots have been really odd in how well they can or cannot detect you. Tri-Anglers relied entirely on sight while Firushudot's seemed to sense your presence when you entered the room. For all you know the Hanmuru Doll could have other means of detecting you...

“Guys, I’m fighting a Hanmuru Doll!” You yell over the Walkie-Talkie as you yank out the flaregun from your bag, hastily loading a shell into it before firing it at Hanmuru as it charges again. The flare almost blinds you as it shoots from the gun and flies into the Hanmuru’s face, deflecting off and landing in a corner of the room, greatly improving the lighting of the room.

"A what?" Ira asks as the Hanmuru Doll continues it's charge unphased.

"Something REALLY bad!"

Stuffing the Flaregun into your jacket pocket you try to run around the Hanmuru Doll in the hopes the flare affected its vision…

The Hanmuru Doll lashes out at you with it's arms, clearly unaffected by the flare. However a few well timed ducks and a mad sprint allows you escape it's reach and get around to it's backside just as it halts it's charge.

Jumping up you grab onto a groove in the Reaverbot's armored back and hold on as best you can with your free arm, raising your Bustergun to fire on the Hanmuru Doll.

Raising your Bustergun upwards you fire a regular shot into the back of the Hanmuru Doll’s seemingly fixed head. You can feel the heat from the energy blast and here the audible crackling as it whacks into the back of the Reaverbot’s armored chassis. However you see the damage was menial and even at point blank your attack only left a faint mark in the armor.

Still, it left a mark and with enough repetition you should be able to break through. Before you can fire off another shot the Hanmuru Doll comes to realize where you are and begins to run around, flailing its arms and trying to claw you off its back. Thankfully even with its metal digits and long reach; it’s not able to reach you as its arms weren't designed to scratch its back.

The thrashing however is making holding on pretty difficult and with one hand it’s only a matter of time before you fall off. Still, you can get a couple shots in till then, what do you wish to do?

Charging up your Bustergun you fire empowered shots into the back of the Hanmuru Doll’s head, turning the barely noticeable mark you made with your first shot into a large, blackened, and visible dent. You’re only able to get several shots off before you lose your grip and fall off, but the progress you made is pretty significant.

The Hanmuru Doll continues thrashing around the room and by the time you get to your feet it realizes you’ve fallen off. Quickly orienting itself it rushes at you, its cycloptic eye glowing with rage as it shakes the entire room with a thunderous, titanic charge towards you. The already audible shuffling of its tiny legs turn into ear splitting smashing, it’s feet cracking the floor as it carries it’s body at ramming speeds, arms outreached and ready to grab and crush you.

Gritting your teeth you try and evade…

Eager to land more blows you rush over to the Hanmuru Doll and circle around it, leaping and grasping onto the groove in its back once again. Raising your Bustergun you charge and fire shots as fast as you can, pounding the same spot, over and over again in the hopes of breaking through. After several more shots and increasing the severity of the damaged spot, the Hanmuru Doll begins to move again, only this time
it’s heading backwards.

Its speed rapidly increases and soon it’s charging backwards at the other wall, with you in the perfect spot to get sandwiched and crushed between the two. If you don’t jump off now you could be in a lot of hurt, however armor at the back of the Hanmuru Doll’s head looks awful, one more shot could very well kill it!

Not being all that interested in knowing what it’s like to die, you throw yourself off the Hanmuru Doll moments before it collides into the back wall. You hit the ground hard, but go into a roll and manage to avoid breaking anything. Getting to your feet you turn and see the Hanmuru Doll ripping itself out of the wall, unphased by a collision that had previously stunned it.

Smoke now billows out of its grate like mouth like the hot, furious breath of a gladiator after a tremendous attack. Orienting itself to face you, it holds out its arms and points them at you, firing them off like massive hand tipped rockets!

You barely have time to hear the attack and desperately attempt to dodge it…

>17 vs 14
>BASS SUCCEEDS!

The monstrous, massive, avatar of destruction and death runs at you with the intent of staining the floor with your blood and claiming victory after a long and tumultuous battle. Its cycloptic red eye glows brighter than it had the entire battle, with smoke pouring out of its mouth like evil laughter given physical substance.

For a few moments even you thought it was all going to be over and that your adventure was going to end before it could really begin.
But then you rolled.

Putting all your strength and speed into it, you rolled like a small dog in a tumble dryer and spun right out of the Hanmuru Doll’s path, not giving it any room to change course or adjust its charge.

As soon as it had passed and before it could realize it’s horrible mistake, you stopped your roll, threw up your Bustergun and fired, sending a charge shot straight into the back of its heavily damaged head.

The armor gave way and the shot pierced the armor you had been blasting away at for what seemed like an eternity, destroying vital and important systems and murdered whatever intelligence and capacity for thought the Reaverbot possessed.

With its processing systems gone and it’s body now in flames, the braindead Hanmuru Doll continued its charge until it collided with the wall and exploded, throwing bits of wall, shrapnel, and refractor shards across the room.

As the smoke clears and you get to your feet, you see the charred lower half of the Hanmuru Doll lying in a pile of rubble next to a brand new hole in the wall leading out into the adjacent northern hallway.

also why didnt we take the diving gear?
we could use that
>>
>>29976644
Take note that Megaman was fully kited with what could be power armor and definitely had arm protection. It's not nearly as safe for Bass to try the same thing without risking his arms getting bitten off.

No, it was old and broke.

>>29976883
Weren't we gonna pick all that up on the way out?
>>
>>29976894
Yeah. Moreover, Megaman was probably already lvl10 comparatively right at the start of the first game and equipped with really broken skills, like Lock On and Strafe.
>>
>>29976939
Nothing a good scrubbing refinishing and repainting an do
>>
>>29976894
Also, Megaman has replaceable limbs. He's a cyborg, getting his hand bitten off isn't that big an issue for him. Presumably we could get cyberlimbs to replace any lost ones, provided we didn't bleed to death on the way back home. But they'd be expensive and uncomfortable and it's really not worth it.

Debatable on us being humans.

“Bass? BASS! Are you alright? What the hell happened! We heard something from all the way up here!”

“Oh it was nothing; I only killed a Reaverbot that’s known for wiping out entire towns and cities! WHO’S THE STRONGEST DIGGER? I. AM!” You throw your arms up and let out an ecstatic shout of victory, dancing a little jig over the smoking remains of the Hanmuru Doll before collecting the loot and the key, promising to tell Ira the story of your victory once you see what’s behind that locked door.

You manage to collect about 10,000 Zenny worth of refractor shards and you get the key out of the chest without any issues. There’s nothing salvageable from the Hanmuru Doll, so all that’s left to do is open that door and reap the reward of whatever is behind it!

What do you wish to do Bass?

With loot in hand you make your way back towards the room with the 'vault'. You make sure to take the long away around that doesn't take you past the Kuruguru's and take a quick look around before you do.

After not finding anything out of place or of interest, you make your way into the vault room and approach the massive door. Plopping down your backpack you take out the keys and feed them into the three large holes in the door. Thankfully they’re all identical and apparently don’t have a specific order, as a door quickly sucks them up and begins to unlock itself moments after you put the large keys in their holes.

Bolts jut out, seals break, reinforcement bars and locks slide out of place, and finally the massive doors pull back into the walls revealing…a mostly empty room.

Your heart sinks as you shine your light into the very dusty room, not seeing a refractor, a chest, or even a Reaverbot! All you see in the rather small room is some kind of console of some kind. Walking up to it you see a small circular indentation in the console about the size and shape of your mother’s necklace.

Seeing some writing by it you can make out a little of what it says despite it not really being in the common language. You can only make out bits and pieces, and even then you aren’t sure you have it right…

“Release…Primary Gate. Authority…required. …three Sub-Locks…must…deactivated…Primary Gate Release.”

It appears to be a lock of some sort for a ‘Primary Gate’ whatever that is. There are three towers, maybe each ruin holds a lock for this ‘primary gate?

Taking off the pendant you slap it down into the slot. It locks into place the entire console lights up. You sit in silence for a few moments waiting for something to happen, but nothing does.

Taking the pendant out of the slot you put it back around your neck and begin to look around to see what it could have changed when the ground begins to shake.

"Bass! BASS! The Tower is starting to move! You need to get out of there! NOW!"

Eyes widening you sprint east as fast as you can, bursting into the room with the Kuruguru's and hoping over them before they can recognize you're even in the room.

Entering into the large open room you fought the Firushudot's in you see that it's FILLED with them now, dozens of Firushudot's popping out of the water and searching for someone, most likely you.

Getting into the last hall before the elevator you find Tri-Angler's swarming out of new openings in the walls, and only barely make it to the elevator before they start firing on you.

During the long elevator ride up the shaking only continues to increase and by the time you reach the exit you can barely keep yourself standing.

Sprinting out the door you rush to the car, looking back to see the Bronze tower sinking down into the ground.

"What did you do!?!" Cruiser shouts from the front seat as you throw yourself into the back.

"I'll explain later! Let's just get the hell out of here!" You shout and Cruiser puts the peddle to the meddle, driving the AE86 back into the water and making a bee line for the main island...

You make it to the main island and after a half-an-hour of panicked waiting you find…nothing happened. Riding back to the bronze tower you find it’s inaccessible, with the entrance far, far below ground and only the top of the high tower sticking out of the dirt.

Riding back to Tom and Tom’s junk shop, Cruiser pulls into the garage and you start going over your loot while he takes out the Firushudot corpse and plops it down onto a work bench. After going over what you got and explaining what the hell happened, the three of you sit down to some pizza from “Tofu, Pizza, and Stuff”.

“That was pretty stupid of you just to stick that pendant into the slot like that.” Cruiser states as you hungrily dig into a plate of cheese sticks.

“I’m sure Bass knew what he was doing Cruiser. I mean he wouldn’t risk the lives of everyone on the island over something stupid. You did say you could understand what was written on the panel, right?” Ira looks towards you questioningly and you nod your head.

“Yeah. I think each of those towers holds a console like that. There’s three locks in total, which opens up another ruin somewhere on this island…”

“Oh! I remember hearing about something similar to that being in Kattelox Island Ruins.” Ira exclaims.

“Alright, as long as you knew what was going to happen and you weren’t sticking that pendant into every hole you could find…”
Cruiser shrugs his shoulders and goes back to eating.

“Well I didn’t count on the Tower sinking into the ground like that. I guess I’ll be ready for the next time though….”

After that, lets prepare for the next dig. We need to check our supplies, see if someone's selling diving equipment and explosives we can use. Might as well see if we got mail, or if there's anything unusual going on.

We should also start our own digging journal where we'll describe our finds, the various reaverbots, and use that thing for future reference. Once we're famous and an established digger, we can sell copies of it for the future generations.

"So Bass, where did you get that pendant exactly?" Cruiser asks as the three of you eat.

"This? My Mom gave it to me before she..well disappeared." You let out a sigh, not wishing to talk about this after such a triumphant day.

"Disappeared?" Ira looks to you with a sad expression and you shake you head.

"I remember her leaving. So it's less that she disappeared and more like she never came back...but let's not talk about that right now! We have loot to split up!" You smile and think of all the Zenny you got in that ruin.

"Bass recovered 20500 Zenny in those ruins. We need at the very least 40,000 Zenny to finish basic repairs on that ship. I also need money for making armor and weapons, and there's also the subject of our shares." Crusier says, taking out a calculator.

"Since we're a team it's only fair we get a cut of the Zenny. Whatever doesn't go towards the ship or weapons, should be split equally amongst ourselves." Cruiser states.

What do you think of this Bass? How do you want to divide up the money and how much money do you want to put towards the Ship and Weapons/Armor?

Priority is the ship.

We need that shit mobile as soon as possible. In 2 or 3 more dig runs, we get enough zenny to fly it.

"Well now that we have a budget worked out, I want to ask you what you want me to do with this Reaverbot corpse." Cruiser points to the Firushudot lying on a nearby work bench.

"I could make some regular armor out of it, but I think I could make a special diving armor with the stuff you brought back. There's also that old ass machinegun I might be able to do something with. What I work on is up to you, I could try making something totally different, but it'd be cheaper working with the stuff you brought back."

"What could you do with the machinegun?" You ask.

"I don't think I'll be able to restore it, but if I had some more parts or some money to work with I might be able to use it to make a better weapon." Cruiser states.

"What about the Diving Armor? Do you think you could Waterproof my Bustergun?" You ask eagerly.

"If I made the Diving Armor and the Waterproofing parts for your Bustergun, I'll probably use up all the materials from that Reaverbot you brought me. Also, while I can make parts to make your Bustergun waterproof, I don't think I can modify it to work underwater, that's the issue with a lot of energy based weapons." >>

Ask Ira about what weapon she developing.

>>
>>29979767
Armor priority should be in protecting the limbs. I don't want to risk getting our legs bitten off again. Diving armor is a secondary goal, though if he can get us a working rebreather I'd appreciate it. We're not going too deep here, we don't need a pressure suit yet.

As for the machine gun, an idea: Take the stock and trigger mechanism from the gun. Use it to give the buster a more standard design. Less ergonomic, but easier to swap back to a free hand. Maybe take the clamping action from the Firushudot's mouth, tuned down, to let a brace automatically clamp around our arm when we grab the buster. A button by the safety will let us disengage it. That way we can swap it out a lot faster than having it as a sleeve-mounted weapon would, but still keep the firm grip when we need it.

SUBROCs, mate. Nothing like amphibious rocket cannons. Combine it with gyrojet tech and we'd have a rifle that can shoot in and out of water and hits damn hard, too. Wouldn't be good at close ranges, though.

>>
>>29979833

>>29979879
Just a heads up, If you use the Firushudot's shell to make regular armor you won't be able to make Diving Armor as good as what you'd get if you used the Firushudot's shell.
>>
>>29979833
Sounds alright with me.

We can also use the diving gear we found to make a makeshift spear launcher. Pressurized air used to launch a bolt at high speeds at an enemy underwater, and we can always refill it with more air, as well as salvage the spears.
>>
>>29979922
You know what? fuck it
just make the armor
diving suit can wait, there are still ruins to search
>>
>>29979922
Because the Firushudot is an amphibious Reaverbot? I guess it would be more neutrally buoyant, but I can't see it providing that big an advantage. It's not like they deal with deep pressures that much, either. Unless...are there underwater Reaverbot ecologies? Have the Reaverbots been recruited by the vile forces of the fish?!
>>
>>29979986
Is such a thing even possible?
Yes, fucking fish.
>>
>>29979922

It'll cost 3500 Zenny to make a full suit of armor and take up most of the Firushudot's parts.

You could use the remaining Firushudot parts and 600 Zenny to make waterproofing parts for your Bustergun.

Does this sound OK?

>>
>>29979767
I'd say armor over diving initially. We take damage more often than not and being able to take a hit is pretty important. Especially for our limbs. Besides, if we use a diving suit, what would happen if it got hit ONCE? It'd be wrecked. At least damaged armor can still function for the rest of it. Not so much for diving armor.
>>
>>29980059
But we can! They apparently give out most of the necessary parts for one of those as game show prizes, I'm sure we can whip one up eventually. Also, laser weapons would work fine underwater (I know it's a long way before we get the Shining Laser, but we might get something weaker sooner). Lasers of the right frequency (green or blue light, mostly) aren't absorbed very well by water, so they should work just fine. Something to remember for AGE Quest, too, if we wind up fighting some Wrozzos in Gen 3. SigMaxxis Rifles should work just fine in the water.

"Diving armor sounds interesting, but to be honest I just want to have some better protection then a vest. Could you make me some regular armor and waterproofing parts for my Bustergun?"

"Of course. That'll take up all of our weapon/armor budget and it'll take me about a week or so to finish them, but I can absolute make them for you." Cruiser says with a delighted grin.

So you have a week to wait for your armor and parts to get finished. That gives you some time to plan and prepare.

SigMaxxis also has the capability to move its projectiles around by manipulating the magnetic fields, so we can have tracking shots by the time we hit Gen 3. Probably based on messing with the captured IUS system.

And with nanominiaturization, we probably can make the new suit capable of cloaking and generating at least some EM shield. Power the entire thing using the Black Raven cells, and put in the EM/IUS system.

As you eat you try to learn more about your friends...

"So Cruiser, who did you work for exactly before you came here and started working for Tom and Tom?"

Cruiser frowns and looks a little irritated. "I really don't want to talk about it. All you need to know is that the were assholes and I'm a lot happier now."

Feeling you overstepped your boundaries you try and talk to Ira about her past.

"So Ira, how well did you know your parents?"

"I-I didn't really know them at all to be honest. I was really young when they abandon me at that hospital. If it hadn't been for Nurse Hope, who adopted me, I would have probably been discharged from the hospital and died because of my illness because of the cost..."

You open your mouth to try and say something comforting, but you realize you've already messed things up enough as it is and stay quiet.

Finishing your food you return to the Sleeper Inn, drop your gear, take a shower and crawl into bed. You've had a long, hard day and now you have a week of free time to utilize.

You decide to go shopping the first chance you get.

After showering and grabbing breakfast you go around town trying to find what you want. Some of the stuff is ease, a replacement flare, some gloves, a journal, and some better drawing materials are found at the general store but when you go to try and buy explosives it turns out you need a license and 'training' to use them which you don't have.

Realizing you'll have to have Cruiser make you some or take the time to study up and get licensed with regular explosives you head to the department store and try to find a good gift to make up for accidentally upsetting your friends last night. Surely it can't be too hard right?

Getting Cruiser a present is easy. He seems to be interested in Wrestling, so you bought him a book on it called "The Lie of the Wrestler: An in depth look into the falseness of 'professional wrestling"

It's pretty thick and seems very intellectual, he'll just love it!

Now that you've gotten your forgiveness gifts, is there anything you want to buy?
>>

Oh god, we're horrible at gifts.
So very very horrible.

Yeah, I really don't like the direction this is taking either.

Let it happen. Friendships need some rocky times, and Bass needs some interactions that don't take place in a fishing boat.
>>
>>29982073
Too meta, you guys have to roll with the punches.
>>29982072
We hardly know these people, what do you expect, plus we are from a small island village.

Why does a small island village have a playboy outfit anyway
>>
>>29982108
Look.

If this kind of consenquences keep happening.

They will hate bass.

and they will leave.

Then bass will be alone. With no mechanic or medic.

And no Ship.

And we had no friends before.

But still, this is a bit too much.

You gave a present to a girl you barely know of 2 days a fucking bunny suit.

You give a guy who fucking do wrestling moves in a real life fight a book about why wrestling is a lie.

You only met them for a few days.

That shit will change their view on bass.

And bass will continue to do so.

Until the ship is ready. Then they leave bass behind after spending a month with him.
>>
>>29982288
YES, ANOTHER PERSON UNDERSTANDS! Do you think it should only be this bad on a critfail? 'Cause I do!

Don't be ridiculous, Bass would have gotten something MUCH worse with a critical failure.

I wanted to make things interesting by making Bass a bit of a social idiot to make his interactions with his friends a little more interesting and amusing. Sure maybe I made the 11 a little more harsh then needed, but it was to be funny. Bass isn't going to lose anything over this, if anything it'll be a learning experience)
>>
>>29982335
He was in a sex shop, he could have gotten her slutty underwater or a sex toy, hell he could have gotten something that offends her more by getting a book that talks about modern healing being bullshit.
2.We could have gotten cruiser a dress or, well for cruiser you got me there.
>>
>>29982341
Were scared you were going to railroad us
Other QM's have done it before
>>
>>29982341
This doesn't feel like a failure though. It feels like a colossal screwup. Not because they are bad gifts but because they are OFFENSIVE to our friends. Please can you replace them with something... I dunno, just regular stupid?
>>
>>29982341
Maybe? This is critfail territory, something NO ONE could bounce back from to keep their friends they've barely made in day or 2, after they gave them this stuff!
>>
>>29982399
I wasn't i was just waiting for the results of the presents.
>>

>>29982404

>>29982404
Yeah. I mean, come on. Even Bass isn't so insensitive as to not pick up on when he's crossing the line.
>>
>>29982341
The problem is you gave us a harsh penalty, and we deffied the odds of getting some terrible result of 5 to get something above average, we should see that reflected in the results.
>>
>>29982396
>Bunny suit
>Not slutty underwear

>>
>>29982439
Yes.
>>
>>29982439
YES! This is worse than an EVIIIILLLL Bass. An evil bass couldn't have gotten things more offensive!
>>
>>29982455
I admitted you were right about cruiser, but a bunny suit is a costume, not a piece of underwear, hell it covers a Shit ton more.
>>
>>29982505
>Bunny Suit
>Playboy
>Implying there isn't some kind of playboy in Legends
>Ira not knowing that kind of shit
>>
>>29982404
>>29982407
Yeah, these are just REALLY bad ideas. These aren't just socially unaware, these are outright idiocy. Bass clearly knows enough about interacting with girls from his previous discussions with Ira to know you don't give them skimpy clothing when you're not in a relationship with them. And he's seen enough of Cruiser to know the guy is passionate about his hobbies and probably wouldn't like a book about how they're stupid. So instead of major screw-ups, just misreading the situation. Like, getting Cruiser a book on Lucha Libre when he's a fan of American style wrestling, or getting Ira a REALLY unflattering shirt or something like that. Stuff that shows he doesn't really know these people that well yet, not stuff that's outright insulting.
>>
>>29982525
I know for a fact that there are. There's even a store on Kattleox Island that sells them. Megaman comments on how much he likes them!
>>
Guys seriously he straight out said nothing bad will happen at all
CALM DOWN
>>
>>29982341
Frankly, it feels like you are giving us a disproportionately harsh result for an average roll because we are usually lucky with the dice.
>>
>>29982547
They won't listen they want the shit changed, even if nothing bad happens.
>>
>>29982505
Perhaps, but makes a lot more assumptions. This is something really personal to a girl and can have a lot of messed up meanings. You know how Hunter is a creep? This brings forth hunter levels of creep.
>>
>>29982563
You don't understand.

Bass flaw will prevent any advancement on relationship with Cruiser or Ira.

In fact, due to time, they will get worse.

And then Ira and Cruiser will eventually leave Bass when they see an opportunity to leave.
>>
>>29982547
NO! He should use something like>>29982527
this person's suggestions! These are fine!>>29982014

I'm honestly shocked how much of a shit fit people are throwing over this.

You know what, fine I'll change it. If you guys are just going to throw a temper tantrum and stall the thread over a JOKE then I won't try to do anything interesting anymore.

>>29981734
>11

Bass gets some cheap chocolates for Ira and a couple of usedVHS tapes for Cruiser.

Is there anything else you want to buy?
>>
>>29982645
the bunny suit and the anti-wrestling book.
>>
>>29982627
Which will still fuck us up because we only get one point to upgrade per level, which we need in order to survive in other things.
And apparently we'll roll that -5 every time we interact with them.

>>29982645
Some snacks and drinks. We'll go help Cruiser with making our stuff, have a drink and a snack.
>>
>>29982645
I'd like to buy that bunny suit. For ourself.

A social self help book
>>

Fucking Great.

>>29982711
There a flaw and there getting a crit fail roll by rolling an 11.
>>
>>29982645
>I won't try to do anything interesting anymore.
That isn't necessary, just don't throw results our way that don't fit the rolls. It feels really unfair.
>>
>>29982730
I'm not a troll? I really want to get that bunny suit for us.
>>
>>29982645
(When you called them jokes I was imaging the looks on Ira and Cruiser's faces while Bass is just there smiling like a damn idiot asking if they like their gifts and laughed. Sorry most people got fussy, it was funny to me at least.)

Nope nothing else mini-job time? Please be mini-job time.
>>
>>29982730
sorry you cant take a joke guy.
>>
>>29982747
Explain why the fuck would Bass want a bunny suit.

For what reason? Please explain how that going to help Bass in digger or be related to any of his hobbies.
>>29982762
You say that until there a mayority.

Look at some of DBZ Quest bullshit.
>>
>>29982711
But do the other things help us alot? No, they are specifically tuned towards specific situation! This, this perma-critfail will make Bass completely unable to talk to ANYONE or do ANYTHING! In fact, it's likely to get us killed! "Oh, sorry Mister police chief, you don't like your book on POLICE BRUTALITY?!"
>>
>>29982780
>Explain why the fuck would Bass want a bunny suit.

>For what reason? Please explain how that going to help Bass in digger or be related to any of his hobbies.
Too get you worked up over nothing, it seems to be incredibly easy

>You say that until there a mayority.

>Look at some of DBZ Quest bullshit.
Well then its a good thing this is DIGGER QUEST not DBZ QUEST
>>
>>29982645
Sorry Crosswire. I understand you wanted to have some humor, but that just felt a bit more heavy handed then it had to be. We do enjoy the quest, hell.. I LOVE the quest myself, but that just felt a bit.. too much.

Still, I say we get some books on diggers for ourselves, maybe some silly little random things and maybe a few help books.
>>
>>29982780
Because bass would be adorable in a bunny suit?
>>
>>29982759
Well I'm glad one person found it funny and didn't lose their minds over nothing.

I'm just going to end this here for tonight. I'm not in a great mood what with everyone throwing a tantrum over a joke and it's obvious it's not going to stop.

Good night everyone.
