Notes on Rolls and Voting:

When I request rolls, each set of three rolls counts for one action. For example, a two-step plan would take the first 6 linked rolls. A particularly bad failure can interrupt a string of actions.

When rolling 1d100, I will consider criticals within the first ten linked rolls. Only criticals that occur in the first three rolls will be counted as "supercrits". This is still the case even if you'd have plan long enough to require more than ten rolls.

When rolling 1d20, the rules are the same, but I only consider criticals for the first five rolls, rather than ten. Criticals in the first three are still "supercrits".

When a plot choice results in extensive debate, I'll try to weed out the most popular trains of thought, and then call a vote on them. When voting, please respond with only a link back to the post and the number corresponding to your opinion. Other votes are discounted, including those with dice rolls or extra spaces.

Finally, note that this is not a democracy; it is a benevolent dictatorship.

>Last time...

Hemmelus glances around. "It seems we stand in vaunted company." He looks back to you, he gives you a long, careful gaze. You can feel the eyes of dozens of other nobles sizing you up, reevaluating, wondering at you. You're not sure if you're entirely comfortable with that. "I am glad such great companions of Sir Donovan Flint have arrived when Arland most needs them. Truly the Light watches us." He smiles. "And maybe a few other elements we weren't expecting, too."

With that, the gathered crowd starts to disperse, breaking off into their own groups. The conversation, however, lingers on the same topic. You stand amongst your allies, surprised, pleased, and rather unsure of what to say.

"What?" Obis asks. "Cat got your tongue? Take some credit already!"

"Well...hmm." You settle back on your heels. "I suppose I've done a bit."

"A bit, he says!" Anderson shouts. "A BIT! Well, if that's a bit, I can't wait to see -a whole lot- opened up on the damn Kanians! Ha!"

Well. Seems you've won over at least one lord. And maybe a few others...but the night is young.

But maybe you should follow up on that comment, while you have a friend in tow.

>I'm looking forward to it. The demons have to be put down, and the Kanians too, if nessecary.

I thought so too. I cut him a mental break. He was a farmer, makes sense he's got a strong back. And it's been almost a year, he's 17 now. Grown up a bit.

That does mean he's Reinhold's age, after all.

"Thank you, Lord Anderson," you say. "Your support is important."

"Well, as far as I can see it, I'm the one in need of a few friends!" he says. "Hammelus is right. Your timing couldn't be better! And I don't see any angels around." He gives Auriel a quick bow. "Excepting yourself, highest. But there's been a little break on that front, hasn't there?"

Auriel nods to him. "A break indeed. You needn't call me highest, my lord. I am no longer one of them."

"...I've known you as 5th highest all my life, since I had to memorize who they were, when I was a child," Aderson says. "You're an angel, my lady. The magic doesn't matter. Hyperion himself blessed you. Nothing can change that."

"...it is as you say. I am humbled by your words."

An instant later, he's back to his louder self. "Anyway, for Light's sake, we're playing chicken with demon lords. This isn't good! Not good at all! Arcturis should have moved months ago - we should have helped the Duke when he still had more than a handful of men to swing around. But no, no, sit on our asses and suck on grapes." He folds his arms and glowers at the floor. "And now I get to skirmish with them every damn day till spring. Which isn't far!"

You're reduced to your original group, now, as the others have wandered off - Donovan, Matthel, Auriel, Abigail, and Ila. Though the archmage has lingered nearby.

>con't
>>
"To be honest, my lord, I couldn't agree more," you tell him. "But we need enough support, or Arcturis will never budge."

"I know."

"What can you tell me about Lord Prule Waterford?"

Anderson raises an eyebrow at you. "I wouldn't waste your time with that snobbish prick. Though I will say that the man can drink like a fish. He even drank me under the table once, and I'm three times his weight at least. That's the only thing he has on me!" He jabs a finger toward you, then lowers his voice. "He's in knee-deep with the Empire. Rich, that's for sure. I heard he had fingers in the slave trade, as well. There's support, and then there's honorless southern cads that think we should be another imperial territory. Hmph."

The slave trade...the only other person you met involved in human commodities was Damian Vonnegut. If Lord Waterford is on his level, he won't be easily swayed...

"Thank you, my lord. It's s start."

"But really, best try other avenues. He has no motive to change his stance. -He- doesn't have to stare at demons across the border!"

What do you do now?

You glance at Donovan. "I'm going to see what Donovan's up to." You look to your dates.

Ila shyly folds her hands in front of herself. "I think...I'd like to stay, where I know most of the people. Lord Anderson seems friendly enough."

You smile. "Sure. Abby?"

She wraps her arm around yours. "I'll follow your lead."

You wander across the room. Abby helps herself to another glass of wine from a passing servant. The music has begun to play, filling the chamber with a background noise that keeps the mood cheery and conversations a bit more private than they would be otherwise. It seems as though pretty much everyone who's been invited has arrived.

You find Obis still center-stage at the middle of the room. Well, in a way, this is all about him. He's got a mixed bag of people surrounding him, young, old, men, women - though you note that a large proportion of younger women seem anxious to get closer to him. Freja still holds his arm, though. In her red dress, she looks like a viper, eyeing any of the ladies that get too close to her date.

You wonder how that's going.

"Ah, John!" Obis waves you over. "Everyone, this is Lord John Nyx. A great personal friend of mine - saved my neck more than once."

"Oh, I heard the story," says a pretty lady. She looks at you and flutters her eyelashes. "He's quite a mage, apparently. Hero of Jacob's Field, isn't that right?"

You feel Abigail's clinch your forearm much tighter. You're glad you're made out of shadows.

"Well...Joey may have exaggerated a few parts."

"Bull!" Obis says. "If I know you, he didn't even give it justice. And forgive my manners, my lady." He bows his head to Abigail. "This is Lady Abigail Fang, councilor of Archon. The archmage's niece."

Everyone gives Abigail appraising looks. Abigail just smiles. "Thank you, Obis."

"Anything for a pretty lady."

"Is that so?" Freja mutters. "You'll be rather busy tonight, then, won't you?"

"Oh, lighten up."

"Sure. Just remember you have a date."

"Whatever."

>con'

A new presence arrives at the edge of the group - it's Gerald Flint, and his wife. Gerald nods politely to Obis. "Prince Vin. I trust you're enjoying yourself?"

"I couldn't not enjoy myself with Arland's finest wine," Obis says enthusiastically. "We try in Kan-Abar, but you've got the better vineyards, I freely admit it." A few chuckles answer his comment from the group.

"All about location." Gerald raises his wine glass, swirling it slightly. He inhales, then takes a long sip.

His wife looks at you - she's thin, blonde. You remember her introduced as Lady Andrea Flint. "If you could introduce me to your friends, Prince Vin, I'd be much obliged. Though I suppose we met the other day, in a manner of speaking."

Obis introduces you and Abigail to Andrea.

"I've heard quite a bit about you and Donovan in the past few minutes," Andrea says. She smiles brightly. "It seems you had all sorts of adventures together. Restoring honor to Aeolus's Order, among other things?"

"Righting wrongs, rescuing damsels in distress," Obis says. "But don't ask John, he's too modest."

Andrea lifts her hand to her mouth and gives him a tinkling, lilted laugh. "So how did the famous Lord Nyx meet the councilor of Archon? I admit that I never realized Yi Fang had a niece. I suppose...family is well guarded, there?"

>>
>>29945867
> let Abigail do the talking
>>
If we said Abby was raised in the countryside by her parents rather than the capital and met John there when they were both young that would technically be true and be a decent cover.
>>
"Family is well-guarded, there," Abigail says, "though I hope that will change. Are you aware of the incident at Palthair?"

Andrea nods. "I remember hearing that Sandalphon intervened himself."

"Along with the archmage, who went in to deal with a certain spiritual disturbance," Abigail says. "John and Donovan had gone north with the highest, Auriel, after the battle at Evinbrook, and were in the area when the trouble struck."

Andrea looks at you. Her gaze trails up and down across your suit, eventually resting at your face. "You seem to be everywhere, my lord."

You're not sure what to say, so you just let Abigail keep talking.

"They had distracted the problem, there, while my uncle did the...heavy lifting," Abigail says. "From that was born some association, and later, when John visited Archon, we happened to meet. In his travels, John had met and aided many individuals...and I was seeking to change Archon. Our goals aligned, and we've had..." Abigail squeezes your arm, but keeps her words formal. "...a happy acquaintance."

"I am a lady of the empire," Andrea says, "and I must say, my Lady the Councilor, we do not think highly of Archon. At best, your uncle is regarded as a man to never place at one's back, only the swords of our angelic guardians keeping him well at bay. But I find myself forced to reevaluate that opinion. Your face, and words, are one I did not expect."

Abigail gives her a bright, honest smile. "I...am very glad to hear that, my lady."

You're glad, too. The Lady Andrea seems to be a forthright sort of person.

"When you say you wish to change Archon," another man asks, "what do you mean?"

>con't
>>
Abigail turns to the group, and she departs from your arm, stepping out on her own. "It's no secret that our countries haven't seen eye-to-eye," Abigail says. "And my uncle shares no small part of the blame. But it is also true that he was never offered peace, that he has always been relegated to the suspicion and prejudice that follows the lesser elements.

"It has been 700 years since the elementomachy. How long must we shelter under old grudges, over ideas and philosophy so old it's rusted and coated in cobwebs? How long are we going to pass on fear to the next generation? While we stubbornly stand and refuse to compromise, or set the past behind us, demons knock upon our borders. Archon is here to help Arland, but we recognize another, more terrible reality - if Arland falls, then we are next." She holds up her hand, out from her body, gently. "If we do not come together now, then when?

"Archon is not the monolithic force it may seem from the outside," she says. "There are many who are glad I am here. There are just as many that wish I had never come, those that believe it is all of you that cannot be trusted. I disagree. It is time to shelve old misunderstandings and talk through our problems. For if we do not, then we might not have another chance. Archon is moving, but it hinges upon Arland's knights." She smiles again. "But I have a strong faith that we can come together, because if Sir Donovan is any indicator of Arland's honor, then it is great indeed."

>con't
>>
A few of the men raise their glasses. "Here, here."

"Well spoken," Obis adds.

Gerald finishes his glass of wine. "An inspired speech, to be sure," he says. "But I find it difficult to believe."

"I know," Abigail says. "I pray you give us chance to prove ourselves."

"With the Archmage Yi Fang standing across the room? We have faced you for 150 years, since my great-great grandfather rebelled against his tyranny, because we knew that as soon as we turned our backs you'd be upon us again," Gerald says sharply. "I think he smells an opportunity - to get us to drop our guard at last."

"That is exactly the mistrust we must put behind us," Abigail says, a bit more insistently. "Arland is its own country. It will stay that way. No, more than that - Archon will defend its independence, if need be. We must be allies, and stand together. Or we shall surely all fall separately."

Gerald chuckles. "You play a good game, councilor, but no. I disagree. It is Archon - and your mysterious Haven - that stand on the brink of irrelevance. The angels will arrive in several days, and their swords will drive the demons back into the nether. We have no need to deal with you, and no desire to do so."

Abigail takes a long breath. She nods to him. "You would turn us down, even if we offer to stand alongside you? The Most High and my uncle just worked together in Palthair but months ago. Cooperation is possible, and healthy."

>>29946682
Yeah, it's kind of like Shadow Quest is slowly bad-ending itself with shit luck at all the important moments.

I'm beginning to develop an unhealthy hatred for whoever invented crits. Did Gygax do that or was that a mechanic he pulled from the wargame or whatever he based D&D off of?
>>
>>29946708
That's a good point. It's a bit different if we come up with a brilliant argument ourselves, that generally gives us much more leeway.
>>
>>29946708
True, but I still think dice have no place in a conflict purely based on persuasion off of principle.
>>
>>29946716
It's only /tg/ dice. It's an exciting mechanic, as long as the chances are equal.
>>
>>29946790
A 5% chance to utterly fail or succeed at something is stupid. I'll give you that it can be exciting but to me it's more exciting in a joking lighthearted way. When big important things are on the line leaving a 5% chance to fuck up horribly on a random roll just seems retarded.
>>
>>29946852
I agree, 5% chance of severe shit happening is s stupid when taking about diplomacy, but the mechanic works in combat. The GM should know when to use our not use 1d20 for determining success or failure.
>>
>>29946852
Exactly it's only a 5% chance.

Really though I don't understand why people are complaining about dice. It's not like anyways says such things when we get 100s.
>>
>>29946852
1% chance. The saving throw should have a fairly large chance of fucking up or mitigating to worst of the damage, so a d20 is fine for that. The complaint is that we seem to disproportionally fail with d100s.
>>
>>29946852
We don't use the d20 all that much.
>>
Well, that became depressing very fast. The amount of bad rolls this quest has is outright unfair at this point.
>>
>>29946933
I personally hate high crits in diplomacy as well. It basically turns a shitty argument into "Wow such convince. So dashing"

Diplomacy should purely be based on the merits of the argument in question, and attitudes of the participants reflecting the situation around them.
>>
Can we just wait and stop complaining about dice rolls? Bad shit happens sometimes.

"Cooperation is possible," Gerald says. "Cooperation with Archon is not healthy."

"You are entitled to your opinion, my lord," Abigail says. "I hope to change your mind, in time."

"No," Gerald says. "I don't think you will." He looks at his wife. "The boy told a good story - and it certainly does reflect well on Donovan, and...-John-, if I may," he says. He gives you an ugly glance, then looks at Abigail. "But lest we forget, Archo is the country that throws its young mages into a portal leading into mad dream-lands in the name of training them more quickly. A third of them survive the process." He looks at Abigail. "Isn't that right?"

"...you speak the truth."

"Did you experience that?"

"I did."

"You're asking me to trust a man," Gerald says, "that throws his own niece - his only flesh and blood - into mortal peril, to watch my back? The man that unleashed a blight upon the entire south? The man that has time and again shown he cannot be trusted? He's like a dog, you see." He looks back to the crowd. "Would you leave a cut of meat out next to a dog? No. The dog would eat it. It's not the dog's fault - just in his nature. You'd have only yourself to blame." He turns again. "So it is with Archmage Yi Fang."

"Now, my lord," Obis says, "let's not be so hasty. Abigail is - "

"Is young," Gerald says, "and full of hope, and that's quite nice, but I have a country to protect."

"I find myself quite affronted," Abigail says.

>con't
>>
>>29946981
I agree completely.
>>
"I wonder," Gerald continues, loudly, "why we'd never heard of his niece before now. She seems to have popped out of thin air, hmm? Oh, but I can imagine." He looks back down. "You age in those dream-lands. You grow, rapidly. And that means you didn't venture in as an adult, to risk the challenges and tribulations in training. You were thrown in as a child to sink or swim as you could, to either learn magic or die. And yet you'd defend this man, this uncle of yours?"

"...I have not forgiven him for what he did," Abigail says slowly. "But perhaps it is those we least wish to forgive that most need our compassion."

"Compassion," Gerald says, "is a thing of great importance. But we are here to talk of war, and death, not compassion. How can I trust the man you haven't even forgiven yourself?"

"...the Archonium - for that is the device of which you speak - is no more," Abigail says. "That is a demonstration of his attempt to move forward."

"Is that a fact?"

"John destroyed it," Fang says.

Everyone stiffens slightly, then glances over. The Archmage is at Obis's shoulder. He's more sneaky than he gives himself credit for.

"...what?" Gerald asks.

Fang looks at him. "Oh, no, just adding to the conversation. Please continue, Lord Flint. I believe you were busy telling everyone that my niece was a naive fool."

"...you tread on thin ice, archmage."

"You're swimming in freezing waters, my lord."

"Archmage, you are here as my guest. If you think to intimidate me after I deigned to invite you to this gathering, then - "

Fang shakes his head. "My lord, I'm afraid there's been a terrible misunderstanding. I was merely pointing out the obvious facts that everyone already knew. I came to warn you."

>con't
>>
Gerald raises an eyebrow. "Feeling protective?"

"Oh, no. I won't save Abigail from her own social faux pas. You just shouldn't belittle Abigail near John."

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"Well, you see," Fang says, steepling his fingers, "when mages enter the Archonium, they have 24 hours in which to return. 24 hours, in our time, that is. A single day. If the day passes, and they do not emerge, then they remain in a dream of their own creation until they die. Though some might call it a nightmare."

"And the point of this explanation is...?"

"Abigail did not emerge within the time allotted," Fang says. "No mage has ever returned after that has happened. No one. Ever."

Obis looks between you, Fang, Abigail, Gerald, and then back to Fang. "Then...how is she here, Archmage?"

"Oh, John jumped into the damn thing, pulled her out, and turned about and destroyed it." He smiles his evil smile at Gerald. "Just casually annihilated the ancient artifact that outdates the elemental lords. Not a mean feat. He's rather protective of her, you see."

Andrea stares at you. There's a strange look of wonder and fear on her face. You'd hoped to win her over - she seemed responsive to Abigail's comments - but now you're not so sure.

"Unbelievable." Gerald's face had tightened up slightly, but now he seems more relaxed. "Do you think your little games, your little comments...do you think you'll get under my skin?"

"I already am. Just a matter of peeling it up."

>con't
>>
Andrea blanches, lips curled. "What a disgusting comment."

"I care not for your opinion," Fang says.

"You should," Gerald growls, "considering she's my wife."

"Ah, yes, the replacement for the other girl. What was her name? Megan? I see you grieved terribly for all but a few months before remarrying. A true tragedy."

"Uncle!" Abigail steps between him and Gerald. "What has gotten into you?"

"Dearest niece," the archmage says gently, "you are Archon's greatest treasure - it's future. And I'll not have you stepped on by the muddy hooves of the Flint family's ugliest pig." Fang rotates and begins to walk away. "If you'll excuse me, I think I'll enjoy a bit more of your father's wine. And do try the dumplings, they're excellent."

Gerald's face is red. You can practically see the steam coming from his ears.

He basically jumped in and made us the fucking boogeyman for Gerald. Seriously, a very dumb move by him.

We're here to win people over, not make them afraid of us. If the topic goes back to the Archonium being destroyed we need to bring up how it was a necessary step for Archon to move on from it's former self. Basically bring up the points that Abby brought up in her speech at the Council vote.

We need to make that decision less about being over protective and more about this new move for Archon and this alliance.
>>
What would Fang have done on a twenty?
>>
>>29947208

while my soup reheats

Generally, your save rolls are allies/outside factors coming in to help you. You were more or less rolling for 'outside help'.

If you rolled very well, Obis would have tried to support Abigail, and Andrea might have said something, too. If you rolled medium well, it would have been Obis alone; if you rolled medium-crappy, I could have had a tense conversation between Fang and Gerald, but it wouldn't have been that bad.

You rolled poorly, so Fang stepped forward while in full don't-give-a-fuck mode.
>>
>>29947208
in this quest saving throws, the d20s we roll, are for other characters to step in and save our ass. Normally it's Flint or another close ally we're rolling for, but that's in battle. This is diplomacy so it's not to surprising that the responsibility fell to Abby's uncle.

>>

YI FANG PLS.

>have Obis run interference

I'd also like to get one point in on the topic Abby tried to lead in with before our disaster-rolls, though, in light of this recent development.

>Abigail takes a long breath. She nods to him. "You would turn us down, even if we offer to stand alongside you? The Most High and my uncle just worked together in Palthair but months ago. Cooperation is possible, and healthy."

"...if Sandalphon would deign to cooperate with -THAT- for the good of his Empire, I pray that, at the very least, you would not continue to say you find us an option beyond tolerance."

Because seriously. Even someone who's that big of a dick is a useful dick to someone now and again. Even if deep down you dislike us, at least give us your blessing to use our talents in a way that you can tolerate. We can work with that. We can move forward from there. There's no moving forward from "I AM TAKING MY ALLIANCEBALL AND GOING HOPE FOREVER." It's not constructive. It's not becoming of a family of leaders.
>>
>>29947075
>have Obis run interference
>>
>>29947255
I think we do need to bring that up at some point. Fang just painted us as some kind of person that would kill Gerald for saying some mean words to our waifu, and while some people on /tg/ would suggest that, that isn't true and that isn't the image we're going for. We need to set the record straight.

We talked it over with Abby and later Fang before destroying it. It wasn't us just turning around and casually annihilating something because of what it did to Abby out of spite the second we finished saving her.

Basically, we should apologize for Yi Fang trying to scare them and maybe even act a little offended that he used us to do it.

I don't really think it was that bad. The revealing of the destruction of the archonium just shows that Archon is willing to change, that they're serious. While it does show that their mages aren't going to be like they are currently. It also means that they will have more mages in future generations, and don't try to say that the ones who go through it are higher quality, because abby didn't pass. The ones who pass are the ones who didn't have internal conflict, which really means nothing in military terms.

I say it's more of a plus than a minus, and the reveal of it came off perfectly to show that we aren't lying. this way those that are actually considering our side see us correctly.

Not to mention the strength that he portrayed in us, whcih if this alliance is to prevail we really have to appear strong to everybody. Add on top of that the whole "saving the damsel in distress" and "destroy the evil machine" we really appear to be the hero in this.

Essentially that sequence pissed off our enemies while swinging the independents over to our side.

Just Shade and the Gem.

>I say it's more of a plus than a minus, and the reveal of it came off perfectly to show that we aren't lying. this way those that are actually considering our side see us correctly.
The point, though, is that people aren't seeing us correctly. Fang is making it look like we destroyed the thing over raging about our waifu, not trying to make Archon move in a new direction.
>>
>>29948020
But still destroying it over our waifu is still a reasonable thing. It's practically love story material.

Plus as long as we elaborate and say that that isn't the only reason we destroyed it and that we discussed it before hand then we are in the clear.

"There's been speculation that I was involved in the events that occured in Archon, in the Archonium"

>"I'm sorry Mr Nyx, but do you seriously expect us to believe that that was a shadow elemental that conveniently appeared despite the fact that you..."

"I know that it's confusing. It is one thing to question the official story and another thing entirely to make wild accusations or insinuate that I'm an elemental."

>"I never said that you were an elemental."

"You didn't? Well, good, because that would be outlandish and... Uh, Fantastic. I'm just not the elemental type. Clearly, with this laundry list of character defects all the mistakes I've made, largely public..."

><John, just stick to what we tell you!>

"Yeah. Okay. Yeah. The truth is... I am Erebus."
>>
>>29947983
>vomit up our pocket
>along with a lot of black shadowy stuff.
>all over Andrea.

"The archmage embellishes what happened greatly," you say. "We did make the decision to destroy the Archonium - together, after the fact. It was not as if I was capable of that with a snap of my fingers. And it was done as an ultimatum."

"What do you mean?"

"The councilor..." You glance at Abby. "Abigail was not happy with her uncle after escaping the archonium. She threatened him with the one thing he couldn't stand - to leave. You see...the Archmage realizes that no one can trust him. For good reason. Even I don't trust him, not entirely. And no one should. And so, under his leadership, Archon itself could not be trusted. Which is why he felt he had to pass his torch to Abigail.

"So she told him that if he meant what he said about changing Archon, that he would destroy the thing that she saw as an affliction upon its people. And then...we did. He annihilated the only thing that has given Archon an advantage over the angels. Abigail made him destroy his sword, so she could be sure that he wouldn't use it to stab others in the back."

The group is very, very quiet.

"While your words have merit," Gerald says, "after that, I won't be swayed by an exciting story and a pleasant thoughts. He hasn't changed. And as long as he's around, it is as you've said yourself. Archon cannot be trusted."

"I-is this a normal thing for John?"
"Would you be surprised if I said it was?"

It can be spun romantically, but right now we're the guy who flipped the fuck out and destroyed a powerful ancient artifact like it was nothing.

No one wants to be around a practical God with a short temper.

"My lord," Andrea says, "while Fang is...gruesome." She glances to Abigail. "No disrespect intended, councilor."

Abigail sighs. "There is none taken, Lady Flint. He can be extraordinarily pig-headed. I don't believe many people have told him 'no' over the course of his lifetime."

"Ah," she says. "Well. While he is...a character, shall we say, we shouldn't let his behavior reflect poorly on our other friends, here. He may be necessary baggage."

Gerald grunts his disagreement. "I'm not going to carry baggage that will fall open and kill me. And I've had more than enough of this conversation. Prince Vin." He nods only to Obis before departing. The rest of the group soon falls apart, nobles scattering like leaves - no doubt to gossip about what they just heard.

"Well," Obis says, "I suppose it could have been worse."

"I don't really see how," Freja mumbles.

"Oh, it can always be worse."

Andrea has remained behind for a moment. She looks to you. "Perhaps we shall talk more, later, John. If I may use your first name."

I like the 'we' as well. Maybe not exactly what the Lady wants to hear, but it's nothing she can really object to either without coming across as super conniving.

"We" is a better way to put it.

Abigail wouldn't mind, she did something similar when we first arrived.

"Only if I can call you Andrea, my lady."

"But of course," she says. She smiles warmly at you. "Until then. I believe my own pig-head might need some soothing."

Abigail snorts, and then the two of them both share a good chuckle. The Lady Flint wanders off in the direction of Arcturis's court.

"I said the right thing, right?" you ask Abigail.

"A little forward, but she seems friendly enough herself," Abigail says.

"You think?" Obis says. "I saw the looks she was giving you, -John-. I wouldn't be surprised if - oof!" Freja elbows him in the gut. He coughs, spluttering, barely keeping his wine-glass level. "Freja, what in the flame of - "

"Just keeping you in line."

"Let me have a little fun for once!"

"What are they talking about?" you ask Abigail.

She blushes faintly, and takes up your arm. "Nothing that important. Well...I guess we have to make up some lost ground."

Pretty sure that 90% of the reason why people want to ignore her comment is because we already have a waifu and they view any sort of non-familial interaction with the opposite gender as wafuing.

They don't understand that you can have female friends.

My best friend is a chick and a lesbian and you have no idea how many comments i get about how people think she friendzoned me or that they pity me or some shit like that. It's society, not just /tg/.

So guys, do you think Abby is a virgin? I mean she lived in a fantasy world where she could create just about anything for years.

It might even count as masturbation actually.
>>
>>29948560
>Too lewd.

SM's going to use THE ONE on our in bed performance.
>>
>>29948582
It would make sense for it to suck, considering that Shadow has zero knowledge of such things.
>>
>>29948606
Considering that Shadow isn't human, he might have the stamina for a quantity-over-quality sort of deal. Eventually he'll get good, as long as Abby can hold up.
>>
>>29948660
Can we even have an orgasm?
>>
>>29948582
...I wonder what would happen.
>>
>>29948677
That's a good point, we don't reproduce like most things so sexual pleasure could be easily beyond us I'd imagine. Maybe there's some freaky magic that could help there.
>>
>>29948702
Or just allow Humanity to assume direct control
>>
>>29948438

Maybe Tuesday. I'll update on the twitter.

>>29948726
Or just leech off of Abby's sensory output. So the better we make her feel the better we'll feel.
>>
>>29948807
Or just consume her.
>>
>>29949086
That could work, yes. A good plan for next time I think.
