You are Vayle Reitra, an Ardat Yakshi who has fled Thessia in search of a life hidden from society, and those who seek to end you. Recently, you escaped from your home-city, arrived at the ever criminal profuse Omega, and found lodgings with a Quarian named Mel, who seems to have a past as curious as your own. After stocking up on supplies, and killing a mugger, you were forced under the employment of 'The Boss', the krogan who runs Omega, serving as his personal Assassin in return for protection from the Asari Matriarchs.

After exiting Afterlife, where-in you had your encounter with The Boss, you quickly headed back to Mel's apartment to rest after the stressful situation. The Quarian wasn't home by the time you arrived, and you simply opted to crash on the couch again.

Awaking to the sound of bubbling, you smelled something similar to Asari Squid Stew, a delicacy back home that you had regularly enjoyed, along with something that smelled shockingly like ammonia. Looking up, Mel was sitting on the kitchen counter reading a book that looked much like an engineering manual. Noticing that you woke up, Mel quickly shuts the book and offers you a bowl.

"Hey Mrs.Narcoleptic, how was your day?"

"Believe me, not one to be envied. Yesterday I had gotten mugged, things got rough, and I had killed a batarian who attacked me. Turns out, the bastard had a debt with The Boss, and that debt has been posthumously passed on to me."
At the onslaught of odd information, Mel looks horribly confused, but you wave off her questions as you set into the stew that Mel had graciously made for you, even though she could not partake in it herself.
After an hour of Holovids, good food, and the usual good banter between you and your Quarian roommate, your omnitool glows in response to a call. (Cont.)
>>
Mel quickly excuses herself, claiming she had to run errands, probably to give you some privacy. Answering the call, a holographic image of Boss’ ugly grin filled the air above the omnitool. “Why hello She-Devil, turns out you’re not going to get much time off, we’ve got reports of several bounty hunters hidden here in Omega that want your head. I suggest you get your ass over here for your first day of training.” The call ended before you had a chance to reply. Grabbing your trusty bag and pistol, you head out towards Afterlife.

Shortly after arriving, the same Batarian that escorted you into Boss’ room does the same, leading you to a new set of stairs that lead below, rather than up to Boss’ office. Following the steps, you find a full-fledged training center. In the center of the room, a large red circle denotes a wrestling ring, and in the surrounding areas targets, weights, and a holographic simulator lined the walls. And sitting on a chair, similar to the one you saw in his office, is Boss, drinking a foul-brown looking liquid.
“So She-Devil, let’s get down to work, I’m going to be the one training you, for obvious reasons, I’ll be wearing full body armor so you don’t get tempted to, how do I say this, fuck me literally senseless.” He lets out his usual guttural laugh.

What do you want to train first?

>Hand to hand combat with Boss,
>Biotic Endurance training with the weights,
>Biotic Strength training with Boss,
>Train Push
>Weapon training with the holographic interface,
>Other (Write-in)

As you train different abilities, they will be added to the character sheet in the paste-bin,
Endurance is essential to keeping biotic abilities active for longer periods of time, and on a larger amount of targets. Strength is exactly that, how powerful the move will actually be. Currently, you only know how to use a rudimentary ‘push’ check char sheet for details
>>

>Hand to hand combat with Boss,
Start with the basics.

>Biotic Strength Training

After reading Push's description, we need to be move more than just 20 lbs. especially if the rachni wars/krogan rebellions will be here soon.

so im guessing you'll just give news on pastebin?
>>

"Hand to hand, I don;t want to get surprised like with the Grul and the other muggers." Boss sets his drink down, and lumbers over to the training circle. He throws a punch at you, which you attempt to dodge, but his other arm comes crashing into your stomach, knocking the wind out of you, "No She-demon, wrong wrong wrong! You must..."

The training seems to go on for hours, bruises mark your body all over as it comes to a conclusion. Boss returns to his chair, and the tepid brown liquid.

"now then She-demon, your first assignment has been sent to your Omnitool. He is a merc officer of a small band operating in the Gera district, and on top of not paying the merc tax to Afterlife, has declared the area as his own, and kills anyone not of his own corporation."

"Why not just send your goons to kill him?Why me?" You ask, incredulous at the idea that the ruler of Omega can;t handle an upstart merc.

"She-demon, you have much to learn about the politics of criminals, if I simply off him, people believe that all they need to do is survive by hoarding more guns, building more defences, if the threat is only violence. No, you will infiltrate his ranks as the beautiful young asari seeking danger and adventure, and will kill him with your abilities. Those who do not know of the Ardat Yakshi will fear whatever invisible force I have employed, inspiring fear against any future upstars." He waves his hand for you to leave the room, "Now go, your blue-skin is giving me a headache. Watch out for the bounty-hunters."

You exit the room, looking at the dossier of the Merc: A Batarian named 'Gil' who has gotten around 50 members to join his rag-tag band of mercs after a string of successful robberies of several high-security merchant shops. The gang is small, so he will be desperate for new members.

Discuss ideas for a plan, a vote will start within the next 10 minutes including the popular ideas, and a few preset ones.

>>29860901
Do we know WHERE to find this guy?
>>
Why not just a simple approach, get recruited, get the guy alone, seduce him with our asari goodlooks.
>>
>>29860952
Like Boss said, he's holed up in the Gera district.

The dossier details the area a small enclosed residential area composed of apartments, life-support engine rooms, and several community buildings.
>>
>>29860974
But if they shoot on sight how do we 'join'?

I'd say we sneak in through some other entrance, kill a guard, steal his/her uniform and find the boss man.
>>
>>29861018
Well, let's just go building to building till we find what we're looking for? Be sneaky about it, no need to walk in on a random murder happening and get killed as a witness.

>>29860974
You got the right long-term plan. How do we go about accomplishing this, though?
>>
>>29861081
Vol said the guy is desperate for members, let's go to Afterlife and ask the barkeeper where how to get recruited, last thread Mel said they usually know everything that;s going on in omega.
>>
>>29861053
We'll just say we're looking to join. Just showed up and heard they were doing well for themselves. May get taken to the bossman, and if he asks if we have any marketable skills/why we're here/anything about us..."Well, I'd be happy to tell you all about it...in private."

Hit that A-Y charm home.
>>
>>29861128
Anon is on to something here, maybe we could market our medicine skills and try to become a medic for the mercs. Lead on with some cheesy comment "I'll show you how good I am with my hands..."
>>
>>29861198
I think we've got ourselves a winner.

We might only get taken to a sergeant first, though...so we might end up having to actually bang someone, while trying to keep the A-Y from sounding off prematurely.

After consulting the dossier for Awhile, you determine that the best course of action would be to simply seduce the leader after you get him alone. Keeping this in mind, you slip the pistol into a more visible position, hopefully making you look far more threatening.

Approaching the entrance to Gera District, two armed guard garbed in solid-green armor approach you. "You, Asari, stop and turn around now. This is Gel's territory"

"Excuse me asshole, I'm here to join you, not get threatened by you." You gesture to the pistol, elicitng a laugh by the guard on your left. Quickly, using some of the skills you were taught at the training session by Boss, you activate your omni-blade, putting the tip near his nose. He and his colleague back up, immediately, "Okay, okay, we get your point. Follow me." Guard number two says, opening the door into the brightly-lit district.

In the next few minutes, you are in a sparsely furnished office room, presumably owned by one of the few businesses that had operated from the community centers here before Gil's hostile takeover.

A man you don't recognize from the dossier, presumably an officer, enters the room, clipboard in hand and the nervous energy of a Salarian.

"An Asari? Well now, you're the first one to try joining Gil's organization, that;s a surprise. You seem to be in shape, that's good, mental capacity is genetically high, atleast probably, probably not trying to join merc group, salarian like attributes, proves to be oddly stimulating, strike that, not relevant to applicant. Now then, combat evaluation, please exit door on left, Batarian waiting outside to spar."

True to his word, the batarian is standing outside, the salarian stands by the door, ready to evaluate.

As the Batarian charges you, you grab his arm, and using his momentum fling him to the floor behind yo, the salarian noisily scribbles notes, "Yes, yes, good skills,"

The Batarian attempts to rise, but you kick him in the inside of his legs causing him to keel forward, placing the heel of your shoe on the back of his neck he cries out in surrender. The salarian nods once again, "Wait out here while I go share results with leader. Go explore, something, stimulate yourself with more activity, or just wait, your choice."

The batarian you defeated in the duel gets up, brushes himself off, and rushes off down the hall, the Salarian returning to the meeting room, leaving you to patiently await the Salarians' return. Pacing around the open area of the dueling room, you think back over the events of the past few days. Oddly enough, the murder of your lover has been slowly losing its edge with the excitement of the past few days, the sick feeling is no longer there, her face seems to be fading from your mind. Truth be told, you haven;t been quite the 'morally upstanding' person you once thought yourself to be, your choices are probably altering you in ways you didn't expect.

After almost an hour of waiting, which resulted in you kicking a lose speck of the floor around the room, the hyper-salarian reenters the room. "Boss ecstatic about your results, claims he wants to see you in action himself, he'll be here soon, be ready."

Less than a minute later, a Salarian clothed in the same green armor as the other two guards had, except far more ostentatious in nature. He swaggered into the room, his bravado almost made you sick, it was like a teenage Asari who had just graduated from primary schooling, bitchy and overconfident.

"Well, aren;t you a pretty, fragile looking thing, are you sure you want to fight a true merc? I might bruise your blue demeanor" He laughs, looking at the salarian who gives a half-hearted laugh in return.

If we're going to seduce/kill him, it'd probably be for the best not to be obvious about it.

"With the salarian watching us? I'll admit, I didn't think you were so brave..." You attempt to saunter over to him seductively, and lean over to place a hand on his cheek... That is, of course, before he decks you flat-out in the face, causing you to see stars as you stumble back, a small stream of blood coming out of your nose. The Salarian giggles behind you.

"Nice try sweetheart, you may have the good-looks of a salarian but I'm no sucker for a trick, now fight girl!"

The two of you spar, slowly you're beaten back into a corner, he knocks you to the floor with a punch to the throat. Sputtering and coughing, you surrender to Gil, "You;re nothing special, but decent enough." he mutters as he leaves the dueling arena, following him with your eyes, you realize the Salarian with the clip-board give him a dark glare as Gil passes by.

"Now this, Asari, let's get you fitted for your uniform, you were accepted, though I had hoped you would teach Gil a lesson, was sadly disappointed."

He leads you back into the office, where in he takes numerous measurements with his omnitool,

"So, tell me about yourself, my name is Laedon, salarian that was offered a good deal of money for providing technical support to the upstart, yourself?"

>"Just look for an easy way to get creds, money is tight these days, debts and all."
>"An asari like me craves adventure, travel, a little bit of danger. It;s almost biologic really, the need for excitement."
