Repostin' first bit to make way for the second bit>Isaac in Borderlands>Skill trees: Engineer, Survivor, Heretic>Action skill: MAKE US WHOLE>Isaac's been through a lot. It's not the sort of thing you forget, and it's also the sort of thing you relapse into from time to time. Upon activation, Isaac perceives enemies as Necromorphs and flies into a rage; he gains a percentile damage bonus against all enemies within his hallucination, damage resistance, and his rate of fire is increased. In addition, his melee attack transforms into a powerful stomp that deals extreme amounts of additional bonus damage when used on a downed enemy.>Heretic talent: FUCK YOU! >Isaac now deals Critical Hits when he hits the limbs of any enemy under the effect of MAKE US WHOLE, in addition to the normal critical hits for headshots.>Next tier: ...AND FUCK YOUR MARKER!>The melee stomp of Isaac's MAKE US WHOLE now deals X% increased damage. In addition, the stomp now causes a shockwave. This shockwave will deal damage of the same type of your Relic. If your Relic does not have an element, it will deal Explosive damage.
>>29829721 #http://ardboy.tumblr.com/no updates lethttp://pastebin.com/RqTZVAtEJukeboxhttp://pastebin.com/Zq6BgYXpZaeedYou forgot the pastebins, btw.
>>29847437>Heretic tree>Crawl into the Dark Machine: The first step increases the damage resistance Isaac gains during MAKE US WHOLE.>The Screws Go Tight, All Around: The second step reduces the cooldown on MAKE US WHOLE.>Stick a Needle In Your Eye: The third step increases the damage bonus of Isaac's criticals, including those dealt as a result of the FUCK YOU! talent.>She'll Be Waiting: The final step refreshes the cooldown of MAKE US WHOLE when Isaac enters Fight for Your Life. In addition, during Fight for Your Life, MAKE US WHOLE becomes Convergence; while under the effects of Convergence, Isaac may move and act normally, but the Fight for Your Life timer continues to pass. Convergence will spawn a Phantasm of the Past, hostile to both enemies and to Isaac. Don't get caught.>Marker Signal: The infectious signal of the Marker manifests during MAKE US WHOLE and Convergence; allies share Isaac's hallucination and share any related effects that do not affect Isaac directly. Enemies will perceive all units, both allies and enemies, as hostile.
>>29847511>Wicked SickToo bad Borderlands give me movement sickness, otherwise I might enjoy this more
>>29847459whoops
>>29847511That's pretty good anon. But there should probably be a skill/addition to She'll Be Waiting that increases Fight for your Life time, otherwise this skill isn't so useful, espeically in prolonged mass firefights. Good fluff all round though.
>>29847545You've got a point. I wasn't sure if I was writing She'll Be Waiting as the final talent in the tree or not so I limited it a bit. That, and I felt like any Fight for Your Life extensions would be in Survivor.
>>29847570Survivor would be the survival tree. So while you get health regen and more health (not shields because lol no shields in DS), I'm unsure if more fight for your life should be in that tree. It makes more sense for things involving death/near death to be in the marker's tree.On the other hand, this typing gave me a skill idea. When Issac's shields are brought down, until they are fully recharged, Issac gets +X% movespeed, +Y% damage from all sources and X% health regen (added atop any other bonus health regen he might have from other sources).Y is meant to be smaller than X but not by too much. And this is probably a higher tier skill. Not good with naming though.
>>29847570Survivor would be about ammo conservation, melee, reload time, headshot bonus on enemies normally, but a severe decrease in headshot effectiveness when in MAKEUSWHOLE, increased health, longer running time, and finally the extra nasty effects like, "Every grenade becomes a MIRV grenade, and if it is already a MIRV then it gets a damage increase or an elemental effect"
>>29847593>>29847613I feel like Engineer would be Isaac's gun/"kill everything before it kills me" tree. I think, thematically, it would be the one focused on nasty shit like improved grenades, bonus projectile damage, and the like. It'd basically be about him putting his mind to work on his guns and grenades and making them as nasty as possible, with maybe a shield bonus talent here and there, probably fairly early for synergy with Survivor.Survivor would be his "tank" tree, for lack of a better term. A lot of his survivability stuff would be here, along with probably lots of special debuffs that would be unique to him.Heretic would be primarily be about interaction with MAKE US WHOLE; reducing the cooldown, increasing its effectiveness, making it useful in more situations, etc. probably with some percentile damage bonuses here and there so he's not useless outside of it.
>>29847666I think the engineering tree should have bonuses for using Bandit manufactured guns as they are usually quite jury-rigd to gether and it would be easier for him to modify
>>29847666This seems to fit with the games themselves. Ususally (barring, you know, fucking Krieg and his whacky bandity trees) is a General, Suvivability and Special Skill tree. So, just to clarify, Issac's stomp is a melee override while in his MAKE US WHOLE mode, right, overriding even the melee guns' stab?
>>29847666>Survivor tree>Customized RIG: Isaac has taken the time to personally work on his RIG, making it more effective against the hazards of Pandora. Isaac gains percentile damage reduction and increased maximum health.>I've Had Worse: Isaac's experiences have prepared him for the trials of Pandora. Isaac gains bonus time in Fight for Your Life, and increased maximum health.>Knack for Survival: Fighting in close-quarters and deep space have fine-tuned Isaac's survival instincts. When Isaac's shields are brought down, he gains movement speed, deals increased damage from all sources, and gains increased health regeneration until the shield returns to X%.>NOT NOW!: Isaac is used to fighting opponents swifter than himself. He gains a permanent bonus to movement speed; in addition, during MAKE US WHOLE, he may press the Action Skill button again to fire a Statis Shot; all enemies struck will move in slow-motion for a short time. Stasis Shot has three charges per use of MAKE US WHOLE.>Stick Around: Sometimes, to survive, you need a little help. Maximum grenade count increased; in addition, all grenades now produce a Stasis effect.>>29847748That was the idea, yeah. It'd be a buffed melee attack that would do bonus damage (and/or automatic crit?) to downed enemies which I suppose would need to be added if Isaac got in.
Okay folks I gotta get lifting.Be back in a few.
>>29847798Hmmm....how about certain enemies are always considered down? Like larva varkids, small versions of enemies (midgets, pups, etc) and threshers? Certain versions not included, of course
>>29847872>dat filenameWell, I lol'd.But, instead of an entire mechanical action being added, why not just have it be a stun effect?
>>29847798>Engineer Tree>Safety Features Removed: Isaac has long since learned that defaults never cut it. Isaac gains a bonus to damage, fire rate, and reload speed. These bonuses are increased for Bandit weapons.>Full of Bad Ideas: Isaac has learned that his worst ideas tend to see him through the best. Grenade damage is increased; in addition, all grenades become MIRV grenades. If Isaac is already using MIRV grenades, each child grenade will detonate with random elemental damage.>Stay Away from the Vents: Isaac's experience with fighting in close quarters has taught him some important lessons. Isaac's accuracy, reload speed, and melee damage are increased.>Aim for the Limbs: Isaac's experience with unorthodox enemies has given him a sharp eye and a steady hand. Isaac gains increased damage and accuracy with all weapons. In addition, he can visualize weak points on enemies as glowing yellow areas that will inflict bonus damage when struck.>Optimized Weaponry: Isaac is experienced at constructing and modifying his own weaponry, allowing him to maximize the efficiency of any weapon. Isaac gains a bonus to weapon damage, fire rate, reload speed, elemental damage, and elemental effect chance. These bonuses are increased with Bandit weapons.
>>29847955Aim For the Limb's crit coloring means it should be at least halfway down the tree, if not further. It should also be a 1 pointer for that effect.Full of Bad Ideas seems like a good idea but I'm not so sure. I mean it seems like it'd block off a lot of grenade based Badass challenges. Maybe if Issac's MIRV grenades have the features of the grenade mod he's using?
>>29848026MIRV is just a modifier for the grenade as an addon. It can still be longbow, homing, bouncing Betty/Bonnie, whatever, it just has the additional slapped on effect of dividing into Eight grenades before exploding.Anyone else think Isaac should get a penalty with sniper rifles, having never really used them previously?
>>29848026They aren't in any particular order. If a talent seems strong enough to be further down the tree it probably is; and Full of Bad Ideas wouldn't lock you into MIRV grenades, it would add the MIRV grenade split effect to whatever grenade you're currently using, allowing you to pursue grenade challenges even more effectively.>>29848077But he has. Dead Space 2, Seeker Rifle.
>>29848077>what is Seeker Rifle
>>29848077I mainly mean the payload, the transfusion/sprayer/singularity/bouncer. Those ones have Badass challenges attached, so that's a possible 644 Badass Ranks lost!
>>29848132No, dude, Full of Bad Ideas would stack them. So, like, if you threw a Singularity grenade, it'd split into 8 Singularities. If you were already using MIRV grenades, then each one would explode into random elemental damage.
>>29848077>>29848156That is both fun and broken, especially with Dragon Keep's magic grenades' regen.I FUKKEN LOVE IT SPAM GRENADES ALL DAY ERRY DAY!
>>29848077>>29848107>>29848109Despite that, I don't think Issac should get any sniper rifle bonuses. He has some skill but he doesn't center around it and we have Zer0 for sniping basedness.
>>29848174That's why he's full of bad ideas. Also, naturally, Isaac's spine-meter would change according to his health percentage; I also imagine that during MAKE US WHOLE or Convergence, he would say some random Marker-related crazytalk now and then.Came up with some more.>Engineer tree>Power Node Surplus: Isaac has access to all the materials he could ever want, allowing him to increase the power of his weapons. Isaac gains bonus weapon damage, fire rate, reload speed, and critical damage.>Survivor tree>Custom RIG Medical System: Isaac has created and optimized a custom medical system for his RIG. Isaac gains bonus maximum health, health regen, and gains bonus healing from all healing effects.>Optimized Stasis System: Isaac has taken the time to customize the Stasis system in his RIG. Enemies now take X% more damage while under the effects of Stasis. In addition, you gain additional charges of Stasis Shots per use of MAKE US WHOLE.>Heretic tree>Single-Minded Survival: Isaac's one-man war on Unitology has taught him to press the slightest advantage. On kill, Isaac gains bonus damage from all sources, regains a percentage of his total health, and reduces the cooldown on MAKE US WHOLE.>>29848244I don't think he'd have anything specifically for snipers or anything, but I think he's a variable character and most, if not all, of his damage bonuses would be for all weapons.
>>29848307Statis System kind of makes Mayas useless bro.
>>29848435Doesn't Maya have a really low cooldown on hers? Like, thirteen seconds base? I imagine Isaac's would be fairly long if you don't go Heretic. Still, either way, you make a fair point, but now I'm not sure what Survivor Isaacs could do to contribute outside of outlive and outrun everyone.
>>29848490Useful for solos survivor would be. Besides, having an guy who can reliably slow enemies is pretty useful. Especially if you can use the slow on raid bosses who do not get stopped by Phaselock.

Alright, enough of this crap let's get back to writing.Anyways, what class should I make Shepard? Soldier? Vanguard?
>>29850353Manguard for sure.
>>29850353Vanguard
>>29850361
>>29850353Soldier, I think is "default" for Shepard and might be easiest to write but I don't know about that.Engineer, Sentinel or Infiltrator will probably be VERY interested in Isaac's tech and iirc Shepard has not been THAT hyped about it.Adept and Vanguard I don't know about but I would prefer soldier to them because biotics are for sissies.

“The Falcon's a mining vessel, Grunt. “Shepard replied. “Unless you want to give the asteroid defense systems a go.”“No, there's no need for that.” Isaac said standing up from his seat. “General logistics is conjoined with security. There's bound to be a few pulse rifles locked up, but its nothing I can't bypass with this security pass here.”“Finally.” Grunt said, twiddling with his shotgun.“You know what...” said Shepard. “I think I might be interested too. Admiral Xen, think you can help keep watch over everyone?”“I'm not your errand girl, Shepard, but yes, I suppose I could keep everyone in check.”“Thank you, Admiral.”“Don't mention it. No seriously. Please don't.”Once inside the security division of logistics, Isaac slid the security pass into the back-lit slot on the wall that lay adjacent to a series of lockers. Each of them opened, revealing several firearms. About three seeker rifles, and four pulse rifles lined the walls of the six lockers, several magazines for each respective arm lay next to it.“Alright,so this tin can here is the SWS motorized pulse rifle.” said Isaac, taking one of the three-barreled rifles form the locker. “This one's the... let's see... yep, the A2 variant. Primary fire is a three round burst, while secondary takes about half of the magazine to launch a grenade that emits a high frequency micropulse shockwave, resulting in hyper-compressing the immediate area, collapsing tissue and issuing serious amounts of thermal energy. You get hit with one of these, it's no joke. Primary rounds make kind of a 'mushroom-shaped' wound profile. That means, once it hits you, it shatters apart and tears everything in its way to shre- Hey! What are you doing?” Isaac exclaimed as grunt took the liberty of relieving Isaac of the rifle.“Don't mind if I do....”

>>29851578ME1 weapons were tiny mass accelerators that only shot a few molecules with each shot, so the block of ammo would only be sheared of in very small increments, me2 had not further specified guns that needed coolant, that was also incredibly shit, for a non-existent increased effectivity, and the only explanation as to why was, that the geth used them during the attack on citadel space, which, in me1, they didn´t, and that they proved to be superior, which, also in me1, they were not.the only reason to use coolant-"magazines" was that it would be more of a shooter, because *drumroll* they wanted the call of duty crowd.Magazines are idiotic if you have a weapon that can shoot for years if you let it cool of for a few seconds every minute.
>>29851969I know, right? They tried to reason it with that soldiers didn't need to wait for their guns to cool off anymore in the heat of battle. To me it was going from infinite ammo to regular clip-based weapons.I mean for fuck's sake, if you put a high level frictionless materials in your gun in ME1 you could shoot forever before it overheated!

I have a question, that may or may not be relevant to future writefagging. What champions would Isaac get along with from League of Legends? How would an Inquisitor's retainer Techpriest feel about his technosorcerous level of engineering? What Chaos God would want him? >>29853552He wouldn't be too happy about joining, but that's the best fit. If Tzeench stopped being the god of well laid plans and started being the god of Indiana Jones-style hasty improvisation, then the situation would be different.
>>29853356>>29852361>>29852283I kind of like the "lobbying from arms manufacturers" reasoning.Alternatively, it could have been in response to a spike in Overload tech usage after the reappearance of the Geth. Nastier tech (either originating with the Geth or developed for use against them) started locking up guns for longer stretches of time, spoofing the guns into thinking the heat sink was over capacity. Manually ejecting a disposable thermal clip clears the 'jam'.
>>29853452None of the Shadow Isles people, especially not dead people. Probably no one involved in the Void but Kass.Honestly, he seems like he'd be more aligned with Pilt (barring getting EarthGov vibes from iron glove Demacia) or Ionia.

Figured you'd be fond of something like this."The party made their way back to te helm, where the crowd of quarians continued to sight-see out of the ship's windows and portholes. Tali had taken the co-pilot's seat, chin resting in her palms as she stared off into the stars. Isaac sat back down in the driver's seat, checking all systems and running diagnostics."Okay everyone" he said clearing his throat. "Would anyone mind if we went planetside for a bit?""I don't see much reason to, but, on the other hand I don't see any reason not to..." Tali said leaving the co-pilot's seat. 'Why would we? didn't you say it was just a rock? I mean, unless we plan on bringing the Flotilla some much needed supplies, then you definitely have my support.""Well, now that you mention it, that does't sound like a bad Idea... yeah... yeah, we'll do that, but The commander and Grunt wanted to test some of the weaponry we had in security."Hearing Tali's idea, Isaac knew that there would be no one on board who would say no. True to Isaac's prediction, all quarian hands went up when asked if they were okay with going planetside. One incredibly easy consensus later, and Isaac was firing up the engine, turning the ship back around towards the small, cratered stray planet. Isaac activated the scanning module, looking for a good to land. Within minutes, the Falcon had landed on the planet's surface, still facing the blue and white spiral of stars from whence it came

There's a couple spare parts and whatnot laying around. We can use those as targets.""Well hey, don't forget me!" Tali said while approaching them. "I might want to give these a shot. Any pistols in security?""No, didn't see any, but I have this." Isaac said, handing over his plasma cutter. "It's normally used as mining equipment, cutting through asteroid metal and whatnot, but it makes a pretty nasty pistol."Mining equipment, huh..." Tali said facetiously as she looked over the scratched up, battered device. "Sounds devastating...""It kind of is, actually." Isaac retorted. "That thing shoots a stream of white hot plasma towards whatever you have it pointed at. That could be pure sheet metal, or the neck of someone unfortunate enough to be in the way. Whatever it is, that thing's gonna cut straight through it."Entering the cargo hold, Isaac looked for anything that would not be missed. Busted re-entry plating, a dish for a transmission receiver that lay in shambles right next to it, empty crates. Isaac had rounded up a few bits and pieces when he heard grunt laughing to himself."Oh no... Shepard what did the bug guy find?""Oh, I'll tell you!" Grunt said excitedly. "Look at what it says on the manual... C99 Supercollider Contact... it's some sort of portable particle accelerator...""A portable WHAT?!" Tali said as she ran towards Grunt. "How...""Hey don't ask me anything, look at the manual. Seems like they use it to break rocks apart or something. This is mainly shown by the final boss fight where he shoots the marker's influence on him to death.Engineer is all about Issac's brain power, using his on the job experience and smarts to make himself a deadlier motherfucker.Heretic is the tree where his brain is high on Marker Signals and loving it, when he's following Nicole's advice. Tali said as she grabbed the worn paperback book that lay next to the contact beam's crate. "Everyone done ogling?" Isaac said as he gathered up what junk he could into a small robotic tote. "I've got our targets.""Ready when you are, Isaac." Shepard replied."Great. Let's head out" Isaac said as he approached a small console that resided near the opposite wall. "I'm gonna open the bay doors. Everyone get clear."As the cargo doors opened, lights on the ceiling lit and a low intensity alarm sounded. Faint traces of light seeped in from the opening. Grunt put his helmet back on, as did Shepard in anticipation of the ensuing vacuum. The air in the room vented to the ship's reservoirs as an automated voice notified the occupants of the hold of the incoming vacuum. There were several cages and automated claws on the ceiling. Isaac lowered a cage to Shepard's position."Alright everyone. There's our ride. Hop in.""How are you getting down?" Tali asked."Nah. I've got my own way down. You guys don't have propulsion on your boots?"Tali just stood there for a second, completely and utterly motionless. Shepard noticed this as he was about to ask Isaac just what he was implying, when he noticed Tali's stationary state."Uh, Tali?" he asked as he waved his hand in front of her face. Since Draigo has a chance to spawn during a summon, chances are far too likely that he'll meet up with Isaac often.
>>29860942...you know you just ruined the greatness of him who is Issac right? You DO realize this do you not? Not even about the lol Draigo a shit thing, even though it is, but its more about him doing impossible things with impossible odds without a chance of 'AND THEN SUDDENLY EVERYTHING WAS OKAY BECAUSE SOMEONE OP SHOWS UP'. >>29859133are you part of the pro tali waifu movement?
>>29861337>>29861150I'm not saying Draigo rushes there to help Isaac, I'm saying that daemons constantly go after Isaac, and since Draigo pops up once every million summons or so, AND since what Isaac does can be considered techno heresy of the highest magnitude, they're bound to meet at SOME point, on good or bad terms. >>29858798The metal enclosure lowered, Shepard and his teammates inside. As they set foot on the small planetoid, the trio was welcomed with an unsurprisingly low gravity. Taking controlled bounds, Shepard made his way to where a mechanical claw was lowering the "targets". Activating his omni-tool, he called Isaac, wondering what he meant by "propulsion" on his boots."Isaac, you said something about 'having your own ride down. I'm not gonna lie, what you're implying sounds a bit far fetched.""It's not. Believe me." Isaac replied. "See if you can get those targets up.""Whatever you say, 'sir'" Shepard quipped back at Isaac, who, so far, had been calling quite a few shots that weren't his to make. Shepard gave the cart to Tali and Grunt, giving them the go to set up the targets.Looking out into the spectral arms of the Milky way once more, Shepard found himself entangled in awe once more. "wow..." he said under his breath. There it was Home to countless billions, who even now, must have been receiving the news of the first extregalacitc voyage. Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by sudden exclamation from his squad."Oh Keelah... Shepard, are you seeing this?!""Whoa... I want me some of those..."Shepard turned around to see a personage floating in space. White flames shot out of its heels and toes, similar streams exuding from different points in its suit. Blue light radiated from its thrice tiered visor. It was Isaac, flying in the space above them with pulse rifle in hand. He dramatically increased his speed, zooming past them in seconds. He turned and circled around them, not hesitant to show off the rocket boots that propelled him above his befuddled company. AT last, he touched down, landing with a fist hitting the ground."Whaddya think?" Isaac said smugly with his arms at his sides. After what seemed like several minutes of silence, Grunt once again found himself breaking it."I think you're gonna have to build another pair of those."

>>29861150To countless numbers of the most holy Mechanicus Brother Clarke is somewhat of a mystery they cannot solve, a ball or yarn that does not allow itself to unwind. A great many questionaries has been sent to and fro through Mechanicus space for decades, asking if anyone knows who taught Brother Clarke the things he does. The truth is that no one, not even the Fabricator General himself knows. Then there is also the fact how Brother Clarke never follows proper protocol and sets out the sanctified oils, the purity seals and the incense when he works. This would normally be tech-heresy of the greatest magnitude if not for one thing. When a regular Tech Priest communes with the machine spirit, has to coax and placate it for it to function in ways not unlike that of a stubborn child. All know this, which is why when in horror after watching Brother Clarke work on a machine, a Magos quickly went to find what damage had been done.To regular Tech Priests, the machine spirits are spoiled children. But before Brother clarke, the machine spirits line up before him in perfect synchrony like guardsmen before their general. Happy, even eager to serve. And for this reason alone, no Tech Priest would ever dare to call Brother Clarke a heretic.

I watched with a mix of shock, horror and amazement as Isaac dismembered the long lost to us electrical engineer Raymond. Completely immobilized by crystalline outgrowths, enough of his body has finally been overtaken by forced Tiberium growth to drain away what semblance of life was still left in him. Multiple thoughts shoot through my head, most of them irrational like the attempt to blame Isaac for murdering Raymond. I push the ridiculous thought away, but the loss stings nonetheless. I didn't know him that well, but he was a member of my crew for this expedition. I was responsible for him, in other words, though there wasn't a single thing I could have done."Shit." Vega curses again. I wonder if soldiers in general are that uncouth, putting my mind off of other things. "We get equiped the fancy shiny new guns and what do you know? Fuckin' useless against the first thing that needs killing." He gives the rifle's mechanism a jerk causing it to fold in on itself. "Why did nobody ever tell me scientists got all the fun toys?" He rambles on as he too picks up one of the plasma cutters from the piles of debris near where the cargo bay's equipment rack used to be. He turns the tool around in his hands, inspecting it and seemingly impressed with its durability considering the damage was at worst cosmetic. To his credit, he didn't jump as the tool suddenly reconfigured from vertical to horizontal cutting mode. "Whoa... "Isaac in the meanwhile mag-locked his cutter to his equipment belt. As he walks toward me, I realise I'm still tightly squeezing mine so I follow his example and finally breathe out in relief. The thread seemed permanently eliminated now. It feels weird to say that about a fellow person, one that I was on friendly terms with about, what, 10 minutes ago?
>>29872071"You OK, Chief?""Yeah, sure." I clear my head, reminded of my position, and by extension my duties. "Look for more survivors and pray they didn't... well..." Isaac nods. "Sergeant Vega, you coming too? We should stick close, just in case.""..." Vega complies silently, having much the same opinion on the matter. He looks through the rubble of the wreckage, but shakes his head and sighs. He mumbles something under his breath that I fail to make out. It sounds depressing. If I could look under his helmet, I'd expect a stare not an inch short of a thousand yards. I look closer at the pile he was inspecting. Bloody crystals extended from the camoflaged sleeve of a military uniform. I avert my eyes. "Down to the last man..." He sighs."You mean...?" I start, and it turns out I don't need to finish."Yeah, I found the other guys before I interrupted your little reunio-" He stops himself. "I'm sorry.""What now, Chief?" Isaac interrupts. "Where do we go?"I hadn't though that far ahead yet. In fact, I haven't had the time to think ahead at all. "Well..." I begin. "Let's see. We're stranded in the middle of a Red Zone. We're not going to survive very long without clean water." It's a good thing we don't need to worry about power. The RIG is powered by expending combustible compounds in Tiberium. Vinifera is ideal, but Riparius is enough to maintain life support functions in a pinch. Cruentus, valueable as it is, is useless. Inside a Red Zone, though, you'll never run out of any type. "Some tools are always good to have too."

>>29872081We locate a still intact supply crate soon enough. It contains a little of everything we need. Supply crates are packed like that exactly for occasions as these, so that even a single crate is guaranteed to have most of what you need even if only in limited quantity. Experience has taught this manner of caution long ago. As far as I can remember, they did it as far back as the First Tiberium War. For just three of us, a single crate held about as much of the important stuff as we could carry, so we didn't bother with the rest."Well then, 'chief', how about his other question?" Vega mockingly asks."No need for formalities, Vega." I play along with his social games. "I'm sure I'll need to rely as much on you as you do on me if we want to get out of here. As for where to go, I'll need a map with more data than mine." I make my way to the cockpit of the dropship, still mostly intact as it was located on top of the fuselage, though it now nearly touched the ground. I open the sliding door and push the co-pilot's body out of the seat and parts of it shatter as it hits the ground. It's the kind of thing people have nightmares about, later, but now I don't have the luxury to worry about such comparatively trivial matters. I hook my RIG up to the console and tapping some holographic keys on my RIG's chest display, I start the necessary file transfer protocols to download the coördinates of any facilities along the main and alternative flight path. Any but the most top secret facilities are marked on it so the pilot will know where it is safe to make emergency landings if the necessity ever arose. Well, we're a bit late for an emergency landing, but I hope to reach one of them either way.
>>29872091"Well? Find anything?"First gen GPS back in the day had global coverage, and gen II only gives a better signal so finding our current location isn't any trouble. "It's nothing special but we seem to have crashed not far from a meteorologic facility.""What are those doing all the way here?""Study ion storms. It's through their research that aircraft hulls are now equipped with anodic protection gear.""Little good that did us."Isaac speaks up now too. "For what it's worth, we crashed instead of being flash-heated into vapor. These lightning strikes aren't like the ones back home.""Indeed." I confirm while I mark the crash site on my map. "Let's go.">>29872090Isn't everyone?
>>29872090>The game was not on track to meet the high quality standards set by the team and by the EA Games Label.>high quality standards>EA
>>29872117>>high quality standards.you mean high fecal quantity.
>>29872117EA's High Quality Standard (tm) is that they can't allow quality games to permeate the market, because that means nobody will buy their other games anymore. That's why Tiberium didn't make it.
