Ok guys Lizard Civ day 2
Archive: http://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/29676017
Population: 61 (30 lizards, 10 bears, 1 dwarf, 20 lizard eggs)
Leader: Henderson Halfwing; master tactician and organizer
Shaman: Moto Twotail
Bear leader: Jeff Whitepaw
Alchemist: Bombastus Chym
Tech age: Hunting and gathering, preindustrial age , metal and leather armor, stone housing suplimented with living would woven by the dryad, steel weapons
Food: 10
Special: Nature attunement, cave bear allies, dryad and faun friends, mining stone and steel & iron smithing

Winter has ended and your city has just laid a clutch of eggs.
>What will you do?
>>
>>29703996
Let's increase the population ever further
expanding the settlement as required
>>
>>29704199
...Ya can really just command people to reproduce, not how living things work.
The town females laid all their eggs from the winter orgies and soon they will hatch.
>>
>>29703996
Twotails the shaman senses three of the eggs have magical natures, when they hatch he and the Dryad can train them in the ways of magic.
As the bears roam a few go back to their old cave nest and hear people talking, they head back and inform the city leader Henderson.
At the same time the miners dig into a large cave system deep under the mountains, they are frightened and do not initial want to explore it, maybe some worriers will make them braver.

>Investigate People at the old cavebear nest.
>Explore the tunnels under the iron mine.

why are bears included in population.. and the dryards you're talking about not?
animals shouldn't be included.. they are hunter companions at best, and livestock worst.
Also what elemental bonus is our shaman?
>>
WAZZUP BITCHES!

The bears live with us and act independently some times, the dryad lives in the forest and help or just shows up when she wants.

it might get confusing, counting them as stock when they start to reproduce. Also potentially when we can use them as mounts.
>>
Hokay, let's start smoothing out the stone in the mine, hint to Chym that maybe the dryad wouldn't be so pissy if he'd come up with things that would help the forest expand, and gather food via hunting and foraging. Meanwhile, have Two-tails ask the dryad if he can join her for a daily meditation/conversation concerning nature, to help him attune even further. go around the forest marking trees that did not survive the winter, if there are any, and also present the ashes from any fires we make to the dryad to help new plants grow.
>>
>>29704570
Also, investigate the people, bringing weapons if necessary, but set gtuards at the mine entrance until they return.
>>
>>29704856
No, man. No farm. We want to keep things as natural as possible, and we aren't going to cut down trees to create a clearing for a farm.
>>
>>29704810
Hey Daean!

>>29704570
Sense it is planting season Henderson instructs the scouts to gather berries and other plants we eat regularly and form a small farm. Domesticating animals proves more difficult, and the Alchemist remarks the Dryad would probably be very mad.
Twotails sits down the dwarf and tells him if he can help the forest he may get some favor with the dryad.
The remaining dead trees are gathered for wood and the ashes from the winters fires are presented to the dryad during one of her and twotails meditations.
Your worreirs go to the caves to investigate and find a woman and young boy in a smaller cave, living a pretty spartan life but eaking by.

>Talk to the cave dwellers
>Get the alchemist to make peace with the dryad
>Investigate the Tunnels under the mine
>Improve the simple farm
>Other
>>
>>29705031
End the animal domestication, first off. Was a dumb idea, and we don't wanna piss off the dryad.
We should try and push the dwarf to make peace with the dryad, and for now, let's just put guards on the mine entrance in case anything crawls up from the tunnels. As for the farm, I think a small one to provide a constant food source is good enough. The forest will provide.

Also, the cave dwellers...I remember talk of a woman and a demon. Send in Two-tails, inform the Dryad of the suspicion that the a woman and a child are in the bear cave, and of the story of a child/demon that the adventurers from before gave us, offer her to come along. Meanwhile, let's talk to the fauns, have some simple chats with them to try and get a feel of who they are and what they do.
>>
Rolled 74

>>29705031
Does our farm support our current population?
If it doesn't improve farm.
>>29704938
farms are natural..domesticating is natural. We would be creating our own food instead of counting on the forest so we would have to take a lot less in the long run. I am sure the dryards would not be mad about that.
also sorry for all the questions. but I like to know whats going on. and I missed the previous thread, so I am just every where on our culture and ect.
>>
>>29705088
You press the alchemist to make peace and he begrudgingly locks his hut for a few days.
Twotails confront the dryad about the people in the cave relaying the story from the winter travelers of a Man and a demon around these parts.
She decides she will come along but says if you found a woman and a boy that seems much different than a man and demon, though demons are tricky.
When you approach them and get into view they look shocked to see you.
Never the less they invite you in and offer some pies and fruit they most have made. The dryad seems happy that they do not have meat in the cave.
>What do want to ask them?
>>
>>29705159
Dude...no. Farms are unnatural, domestication is unnatural. It's actually directly against nature. And the forest is SUPPOSED to be our main source of supply. We aren't supposed to become independent of the forest.
>>
>>29705182
Well, first, have two-tails do a passive feel for magic being used (mainly non-natural stuff), and ask where it is they come from, where they're going, basically just ask what brings two people like them to living in a cave in the forest.
>>
>>29705159
dude the link to old thread is in the first post, you don't have to read but be aware it is there.
>>

lol farms are unnatural? planting things are unnatural now? Nature survives on an eco system of predators eating meat. That is how nature has survived.
>>29705215 this
>>
>>29705262
The idea is that it's not happening according to a natural cycle. We are taking from the forest by doing that, breaking off from the cycle. Our culture is fully dependent on a symbiotic relationship with the forest and its denizens, and frankly, I don't want our level of technology to grow any further than it has already. Maybe in an alchemical sense, but even then with a strong nature focus. If we do farm and expand, our farms should consist of moss and fungus from the cave, and we should expand underground while upgrading our current buildings into a living fortress around our mine. My plan is, later down the line, when we have all the resources we could want, approach the dryad and offer to help make a giant wall protecting a large portion of the forest in case the forest ever comes under attack, so that at least a portion of it may be saved when bad things happen

Rolled 33

>>29705328
And yet planting would be unnatural? I understand you point, but at the end of the day it's about survival. We can't live off the berries we find if our population keeps getting bigger.
We either stop growing and live off the land or plant for a natural farm, and domesticate animals. or our people will starve. there is only so many berries you can find with out depleting it's source.
>>
>>29705182
Twotails asks about were they come from. They look nervous but answer that they come from a small fishing village far to the south.
Twotails asks what made them leave, for, here and tries to sense any magic from them.
They don't look to want to talk but at the insistance from the Dryad the boy tells that he was gifted with fire and dark magic, and when it manifested he killed a few people.
The woman then take up the story, with her being a teacher and seeing powers manifest before she knows it isn't always convenient.
Twotails can feel for this and does sense fire and shadow in the boy but much stronger than a normal sorcerer would.
Not finding any big holes in there story you let them be.
As you return to town the alchemist comes up to the dryad with a jar containing an oddly colored sapling, he says it will grow quickly and bloom with the lunar cycle, each flower a different color.
The dryad is shocked by this and accepts not sure what to say.
The eggs have also hatched and the three magical eggs have hatched lizards with odd scale colors

>Confront cave dwellers further
>Investigate tunnels
>teach the hatchlings magic
>>
>>29705389
I'm all for not growing, or even expanding underground. We don't really NEED to grow much, and if we can make the forest expand as we expand, then the forest can support a larger and larger population
>>
Rolled 59

>>29705431
and when an army marchs upon the forest, you plan to just say " peace and love man" and expect orcs to walk away. or even elves that claim this is their land and demand you leave or rain arrows on your people.
>>
Rolled 63

>>29705417
Teach them magic.
We can have our nature magic increase our farms NATURALLY. just speeding up the process a bit.
Does the farm keep us feed every turn or is it not enough yet? we can forgo domesticating animals by making a farm big enough to sustain our people.
>>
>>29705417
Inform the fauns about the magical cave dwellers, if they are closer to faun territory than ours. Otherwise, just keep an eye on them for now, and teach our own younglings magic. Since that's done, bring back our warriors, have Henderson lead an expedition into the tunnels after asking the dwarf what sort of things they should prepare for. He's a dwarf, he should know what kind of things happen in the forest.
>>29705467
When the Orks come, they shall have the fury of not just us, but of the entire forest raining down on them. Dryads, fauns, our nature magic, our warriors riding bears, all that fun stuff. I'm turning our entire population into Nature Wardens, man. As for elves, if they come in peace and are willing to abide by our society, they may join. If not, again, an entire forest full of shit that wants to kill them. Meanwhile, expand underground, fungus/moss farms, maybe even make farms on the mountainside to support domestication.
>>
>>29705521
Actually...that's not a bad idea. I like that idea.
Working to improve farm output as a form of training is something I can really get behind.
>>
Rolled 68

>>29705522
lol the fury of a forest doesn't mean much which they come in burning down the forest.
>>29705417
Do we have a trade route with these other races? It would be great if we could, so we all gain something we need. be it magic, skills, goods, ect.
>>
>>29705605
By the time we have to deal with an army like that, I intend the majority of our population to be nature attuned mages. Also, why are you trying to industrialize us? The forest can give us everything we need if we can take care of it.
>>
Rolled 26

>>29705605
But I do believe in a nature civ in a forest, to plant 2 tree's for every one you cut down. further expanding our forest and having something to always produce from.
>>
>>29705650
You don't get how this works, do you? A tree can take CENTURIES to grow. We can talk to the dryad about making trees move out of the way or act as living supports for our buildings. And production is meaningless. All we really need are weapons and basic household items like spoons and bowls. We have everything we need.
>>
Rolled 40

>>29705640
how am I trying to industrialize? Farms = food for more population.
also not all of our lizards will be magically attuned.
lizards are avg at magic, now if we can cross breed with the fuan we're talking. * don't think we can cross breed with the dryard..*
If we can cross breed with eh faun we will have something like a 25-50% magically attuned for magic off spring. Which we could then use as a main force.

Population: 61 (50 lizards, 10 bears, 1 dwarf)

Tech age: Hunting and farming, preindustrial age , metal and leather armor, stone housing suplimented with living would woven by the dryad, steel weapons
Food: 15
Special: Nature attunement, dryad and faun friends, mining stone and steel & iron smithing, small farm, Two humans living in the Caves on the side of the mountains (fire and shadow magic), Tunnels in the mines

Twotails starts to train the hatchlings, they are not very strong, but together the three make your farm produce enough berries and mushrooms that the people and bears can survive on it for now.
You ask the dwarf what could be down there and he lists off everything that lives in caves; ogres giant insects, orcs, goblins, scaven, trolls, anything really.
But your scout party ventures in anyway, a little bit in they start to feel a weird wind for far underground, a little further in one of the scouts realizes it is the breathing of one or more huge beings, realizing this they all flee.
A party of travelers is also seen approaching the city, seven in all.

>>
>>29705710
It's...something to look into. Not something we should encourage. Still, I like the idea of expanding underground in favor of further development. We can find fungi and stuff to grow underground, with the dwarf's help. Meanwhile, inform the dryad and the dwarf both of the tunnels, ask for their advice. We may have to seal off the tunnels. As for the travelers, approach them, but go armed. Intercept them before they reach the city. We should also look into some garments that are able to naturally blend into the forest naturally...maybe talk to the dwarf about the possibility of making special kinds of dyes that can blend into a forest background? We can augment with nature magic, if necessary.

>>29705770
Even so, cutting down a tree is tantamount to murder, as far as the Dryad is concerned. Still...I see what you're saying. Perhaps it's worth consulting the dryad about it. We'd need to explore the forest even further...if we haven't done it yet, why don't we? We don't need everyone at the village just to tend a few farms and guard a mine. Let's have maybe 15 of our guys go and spend a week or two surveying the forest. Send them all in different directions, and mark them with nature magic so that they can find their way home through the woods, if need be.
>>
>>29705816
Kinda peaceful. Basically, we're self-appointed defenders of the forest. If they don't threaten the forest or its denizens, they're cool bro.

And Sargeras I assume hes talking about old growth trees like pic. Those do in fact take centuries, but understand/somewhat agree with where you are coming from. Obviously though Daean wants to try and play low tech high magik, which is fine by me when weve got druid lady and possible tree city
>>
Rolled 17

>>29705776
I do agree with you on that if we can get a solid standing, instead of developing above ground. we could turn our village into a whole farm, and dig underground to create, a city.
BUT, our nature magic would be useless to an extent, it would only be usefull for murshroom and fungi farms. since everything else in nature require's LIGHT.
Which I would recommend moving into the tree's. creating homes in tree's and expanding our homes by maggically enchaning tree's.
>>
>>29705875
Agreed. And we also have a nice, large mine going deep into the mountain. If our population grows too big for our current city, we can turn the buildings into a stone fortress and expand our puplation into the mountainside. Even open up the mountain to let sunlight and plants inside.
>>
>>29705897
I've been toying with the idea of opening up our mine to allow sunlight through, bringing in soil and basically creating an underground forest like you see in alot of games. I'm sure the Dryad would like the idea, though it might take a long time to accomplish
>>
>>29705716
You tell the dryad and she does not seem to care, she repeats that the mountains and tunnels are not her problem.
The dwarf gets a puzzled look and starts to flip through his notes rapidly and bids you leave for now.

You send out guards and invite the seven to the grand hall, They say they are from the southern fishing village and are here to inquire if they have seen the human Male and the Demon sense your last talk. They also inquire about a possible trade route, they desire your fruits and berries, they don't like fish much after eating it for years.
The dwarf even offers to start up a small brewery and the travelers seem very excited about dwarf alcohol.
>>
Rolled 32

>>29705875
yeah, which I don't mind low tech high magic, except we're lizards.. we're avg. we rely on number due to our exceptional breeding. and natural scales and claws.
But yeah biggest tree in the would took about 3,500 years to date. but with nature magic we could do that with in a fraction of the time.
>>29705875
My money is on tree city, we don't need to destroy tree's we actually rely on making them bigger.
>>
>>29705928
Alcohol...would be iffy, but since they want to trade for fish, I wouldn't mind. The bears might be very happy about it. But let's make something clear with them. The forest is what happens. We'll plan out a clear trade route, and guaruntee any travellers along the route will be allowed in, but straying from that route...you're left to the forest, and no responsiblity will be taken for anything that happens. Additionally, make it clear that taking lumber from the forest, hunting in the forest, basically doing anything in the forest that we might not like. Possibly ask the Dryad if she has any rules she'd like to put on these guys if they're coming regularly.

For now, say that the question of the demon is under investigation. The brewery...is allowed, but I don't like the idea of a bunch of people coming into town to get drunk. They might end up doing something incredibly...stupid, though I think the fauns would love the chance to have some alcohol. So yes on the brewery, but try to keep it more as an export than as something we actually use. Also, stick to a barter system.
>>
>>29705961
I'm all for the tree city, if the dryad's for it. She's the authority on pro-nature stuff. though I also think we should do a tree/stone hybrid. As for expansion, when we have 10 or so nature mages, we can talk to the dryad about a plan to expand the limits of the forest.
>>
>>29705928
They agree to the trade route, and say much of they're city is made of stone, straw and reeds, the forest is to farm from their home to make lumber that viable right now, though they admit when it does become an advantage they will use it. They also do not look happy about the demon still being nowhere they can find.
The dwarf starts to make brews and he gives some to the fauns hoping to make more friends with the forest dwellers after his rocky start.

Explore further into the forest, have Two-tails and a couple guards go and talk to the cave dwellers some more, send some folks to the Fishing city, and have Henderson ask the alchemist about the possibility of some special dyes that can blend easily into the forest better than most anything else. If there's time, train the mages some more.

You send out some food along the trade route.
You also want to confront the cave dwellers again.
>What do you ask
You ask the Alchemist if he can make camoe, he says he has never tried but give him some time and he will happily get to work on it.
Finally you send out a a scouting party further into the woulds in the opposite direction of the faun and dryad camp, and run into a single Centaur that seems to be some sort of patrol.
>>
Rolled 41

>>29706157
I wouldn't mind making a small town at the edge of the forest, where we can trade and have a local brewery instead of having strangers come into our forest.
>>
Rolled 49

>>29706157
What are we trading for? What do they have to offer?
>>
>>29706361
That may be a good idea...set up a simple hut, work on making it a proper stone building, avoid cutting down trees for it. A tavern, outpost, and trading station all rolled into one. also, we have berries/fruit, they have fish
>>
Rolled 42

>>29706406
eh, don't like the idea of food for food. But I guess with exotic food we can trade to the fauns and dryard for possible magic or something else.
>>
>>29706342
Let's interrogate them more concerning their past. And this time, ask why the villagers are so intent on finding them. They wouldn't track them down solely on the suspicion of the demon thing, they'd likely have some proof. Also, have our scouting party by the village ask about the proof.

Concerning the centaur, watch him from a distance, but don't approach. Follow him, if he hasn't seen us yet.

>>29706500
you can also request something from them and we can roll to see if they have it.
>>
>>29706533
Maybe ask if they have any maps of the area around the forest? It'd be nice to have information like that.
>>
>>29706461
oh, btw, concerning the 'avr magic' thing, perhaps the constant eating of magically enhanced plants constantly will improve the rate at which magic persons are born.
>>
>>29706342
You follow the centaur back to the small camp, but it looks like they be packing up to leave soon, they are nomads.
You question the cave people more but they just repeat their story about the accidental murder again, this time with more conviction.
The town people more or less repeat this story but their version has a Man killing a tavern full of people out of spite for the taven owner by summoning a demon from the pit in the middle of the town

I have been reading over the posts and I have to say that if we want to expand our forest, and not allow people entry to use its resources, we will come into conflict very soon because we will be moving on other peoples lands and as a forest has many resources we can not except them to openly agree to not use anything from it.
You want to expand than you are going to need the weapons and manpower to guard it, right now it doesnt look to be that much.
You are expanding outwards and downwards so you have two points of attacks now. This will get tricky if we meet some traveling bands and some underground enemies at the same time. Dont expect the whole forest to come to our aid when they may have problems of their own to deal with.
I say we start getting getting offensive so we can actually claim the lands we are moving into. You can stay natural by using natural resources but dont get mad when metal and steel go against sticks and rocks

You invite the cave dwellers to the city.
The boy looks anxious but the woman puts a hand on his and they agree.
You realize the dwarf had never seen the two before and when he sees the woman he is very happy and cordial, but upon seeing the boy his gaze turns to hatred and he storms back to his hut not even bothering to talk to him.
You ask the fauns if they want to join you also but they decline, saying the presence of the Dryad is more, pleasurable, and you try not to read that far into it.
You approach the centaur too and they agree to camp near the lake for a time but they must move on eventually.
Your mages are also able to make grass and small flowers cut at the feet of enemies.

You make the hunters and worriers train with the centaurs and soon your fighting force becomes very adept at close range combat.
You ask the dwarf about the boy and he states that the boy has evil essence flowin through him, and he ain't talking to him. Probably only wants what is mine anyway.
After training one night you notice a female lizard returns from the centaur camp well after dusk, you don't suspect much but after the next day she doesn't return from the centaur camp at all and just stays there over night from then on.

Alright...uhm...talk to the dryad/fauns about the posibility of expanding the forest via nature magic. Making it larger, have it surround the village, etc.
>>
>>29707591
Additionally, do this. Have our mages on alert. Also, we should probably consider the possible value of a team of archers wielding bows of both dwarf and dryad make. Dat shit be powerful...

New idea. Have our mages train with bows. While in the forest, they can magic all the arrows they want from trees, make their own bows, and charge the arrows with heavy magic for a deadly ranged attack.

Let's talk to our lizard girl. We don't want any secrets with our centaurs allies.
>>
>>29707805
Agreed. That said, if she is determined to stay over there, we shouldn't stop her.
>>
>>29707504
You go to ask if the two could be the demon and man you were told about.
In his hut he has a large vial full of a liquid that looks identical to the red stone he had earlier. He is hastily throwing it into a small hole in his floor and taking down some of the notes too.
"No i doubt it," he says he doesn't sound sarcastic, but you think he is being sarcastic.
You also talk to the dryad about expanding the forest, possible around your city, she says it is possible, but that would take some time and energy, and is unsure if that would really help anything.
A band of the fishing villages traders come to town also and see the boy and woman, they do not approach them, but comment to each other asking if they know them and that they look familiar, the two look scared, but the band leaves and they return to normal, the boy is increasingly thin, and has tried to approach the alchemist, but he won't see the boy.
You also confront the girl, you ask why she is staying over there, she replies they are nice and they give her good food and drinks, along with great smelling stuff.

I like the idea of archers in any sense, especially since we are lizards in a forest, we can easily blend in with the surroundings and make perfectly deadly archers from up in the trees, without giving away our location
>>29707805
This is a good thing.
Maybe we can have a trade of a few population from both parties.
Centaurs would be a nice addition to our group.
>>
>>29707864
I just realized something...

Have Twotails examine the boy. See if he is...sick. And by sick, I mean I think he's been cursed. My thought is that A) the boy has a deadly, wasting curse on him, or B) the woman is a succubus that the boy has press-ganged into serving him, but as time goes on the effort is simply draining him. Inquire with both the Alchemist and the dryad about these possibilities after Two-tails does his own investigation. If it's the former, he's a powerful mage who will be indebted to us, and if it's the latter, he's a a sorcerer with the infernal bloodline, and we MIGHT have to kill him...

Beyond that...ask the Dryad about the centaurs, turn our mage training into both a mix of archery for combat training and expanding the forest towards the village for training raw power.

While we're talking to the dryad, bring up the centaurs and let's see if there's anything about them we should be worried about.

You talk to the Dryad about the lizard and centaurs. She says the girl is staying with them for the same reason as fauns staying with her.
She reassures you they are no threat but others of your women folk may join them, and when the centaurs move on they will likely go with them.
She also says that the boy is being drained by some sort of magic, but it looks like his own rather than a curse, and definitely not the woman's.
The dwarf laughs and says nothing so complex but if it be botherin you he'll be gone in a day of so if nothin stupid is done. You aren't sure if you actually want the boy gone, he seems nice but the dwarf seems to have some bias predisposition to him.

Leave the boy and woman be. He's dealing with dark and terrible magic, and if she's teaching him, she's actually GOOD at said magic..wait...ask the boy why he wants to see the dwarf. He might be looking for a cure using a certain magical stone from before. Don't mention any such stone, of course, but it's also worth talking to the dwarf about.

Otherwise, keep training the mages in that magic archery thing and send our stealthiest scout to at least find where the sleeping beast is. We should know where, so that we aren't wandering around aimlessly or running into anything unexpected when trying to find the place.

The boy and woman spend all day together, they are seen getting wine from the brewery and sitting by the lake, she treats the boy rather more intimately than a mother would a child.
Near sun down they separate, the woman goes to Henderson and tell him to evacuate the mines. He tells her all are gone but the guards and they wont be leaving. She pleads but he stands his ground.
Later a large jet of flame flies out of the mine, blowing like a tower into the sky.
At the entrance are the four guards, chest torn open, large claw marks right threw their armor, but the blood leads inside. The centaurs hear a deafening roar, that shakes the entire land, But you lizards hear clearly "Who dare send an abomination from the pit into my sleeping chambers," followed by another tower of fire.

Have Twotails approach the dragon, saying, "Calm yourself! We have been investigating a sorcerer of late, and if he entered your chambers it was not of our doing." Offer up the woman as one who can provide proper explanation. If the dragon kills her, he might be satisfied. If he doesn't kill her then all's good. If he isn't satisfied...Dispatch scouts to Dryads, fauns, centaurs, and fishing villages. Messengers running as fast as they can. Mobilize our militia, prepare our archers, and WAIT to open fire. Make sure the centaurs do not attack unnecessarily.
>>
>>29708498
Dragon is pissed, this isnt good. We are not ready to deal with it.
Look to the tribes and trade for gold, it is the only thing that will calm it down until we are ready for a confrontation.

You send twotails to talk to the dragon, you drag the woman with you down into the mines, deep, deep, till you reach a great chamber filled with raw gems and a red dragon easily big enough to take up the whole lake the city is perched on. You see no way for him to exit, but it is likely he could easily escape if he wanted.
You explain that a dark mage was in our town and snuck into the tunnels that lead to his chamber.
He Roars and says that was no mage but a very strong demon and that we did not know is an insult to your part dragon blood, calling you welplings, not even deserving of wings.
You try to explain but the dragon is so pissed.
The woman steps forward, and says she can explain, but give twotails a pointed glare then say it is not for him to hear.
He leaves hearing the dragon say continue to the woman.
Out side it seems the centuars has hastely packed up hearing the dragon awake. They say a quick good by saying they are still our friends and will answer our summons as well as trade, but they are not safe here.
They return to the forest the single lizard girl going with them. (she was hooked on the horse D guys)

The dryad and fauns also appear and are very distressed. While the alchemist is super exicet about all the potions and chyms he could craft from dragon parts. Twotails and Henderson want to make peace with their ancestor though, hoping he will give them some long forgotten knowledge of your race.

>What will you do?
>>
>>29709020
First off, calm Chym the blue fuck down. Ask for the fauns to come and help shore up the forces at the village. If that dragon gets out and it's as pissed as it is now, it'll probably go on a rampage. There's little around here for it to rampage on but the forest. In the meantime, have two-tails inquire with the dwarf about that magic stone. If that dragon tries to kill us, I don't want anything held back when we defend ourselves.
>>
>>29709020
Also, were there, by chance, any...artwork done of our lizardgirl while she was in the centaur camp?

Senseless violence is not our way. We must be as patient as we can. Additionally, if we do find them boy, we should secure him via magic, but not kill him. With the woman speaking to it, we don't know the full situation. Rash action is NOT what we should turn to.
>>
>>29709020
The People of the fishing village have sent armed forces but you tell them the danger in not immediate but to hang around. Some centaur worriers also show up for the battle.
The dryad remains adimant about slaying the dragon, she says if we can get him into the tree line she can easily kill him.
The alchemist also says his stones could kill the dragon but it would use up its power, to make it worth his while you would have to let him have the dragon for his experiments.
You hear the dragon rumble
"Whelplings, Come,"

>Talk to the dragon

>>
>>29709363
Talk to the dryad. The forest has sustained us, but the dragon is our kin. That said, send in Twotails only, along with a small number of guards. If things go south, the plan is lure the dragon into the treeline, have the dryad and our combined forces slaughter it, and then harvest it for resources.

Twotail and the mages enter the dragons room, the woman is sitting between his claws that he has now perched his chin on.
"So you are what is left of the drake bloodline."
You feel offended but you are really nothing compared to him.
"The human has explained the situation and that you were very accommodating to those in need. That said she has informed me that you are sheltering a dwarf, an alchemist at that. I will need you to bring me his Philosophers stone and bring him to me unarmed, dwarves are tricky even with just sticks."
He then waves you off dismissing you like a servant.

>Say something to him
>Leave

>>29709218
You pervert, i'm sure there is some on the internet.

"With all due respect, ancestor, I don't feel you understand the situation fully. You are sitting here, in a cave, surrounded by an army. We will not harm you out of respect, but neither are we your servants, and if you make this a question of force it will only bring a short, violent end to many here, yourself included. As one of our kin, I would advise you to reconsider your current situation." Stare down the dragon calmly, but firmly.
