It is the year 22XX and Humanity has reached the stars. Alas, even though it has attained the lofty goal of interstellar travel, mankind has yet to conquer it’s baser instincts.

Humanity is ruled by ultra-Corporations. Some own continents. Others, multiple worlds. But everyone is a citizen-employee somewhere. The qualms that beset corporations of the past, copyright infringement, tech theft, still exist. If anything, they are amplified by the scale of the players.

Without government to turn to for legal recourse and separated by millions and billions of miles, corporations have turned to less savory solutions to resolve conflict. You are one of those solutions.

You are an elite mercenary- also known as a High Impact Public Representative- of the StrikeOut Company, a group of mercenaries who accept contracts and missions from the highest bidder. You are launched out of a spaceship in a drop pod filled with bright orange and highly toxic gel. You crash land into the target’s facilities, make a mess, do your job, and then get the hell out.

You are a Fall Guy. You are a Deniable Asset.

Good to see that we're back up and running.

Let's shank some more Japs!
>>
>Hirosata Processor: The stock implant processor. The human brain can only handle so much input from cybernetic implants after all. That's where the Hirosata Processor comes in, executing programs that might otherwise rely on the brain's computational power. In case of spare proceesing power, the Hirosata may also improve reaction times and thought processes.
>Processing Power +20
>4,000 credits

>Falconian Eye: A gene mod improving vision in general. Helps with aiming and increases rolls on perception checks. Also includes a secondary eyelid to protect the eye from adverse conditions.
>2,000 credits

>Dopa-SYNTHoid: A gene mod that controls dopamine releases in the brain. Helps stabilize shooting and rapid decision making abilities. Improves reaction times.
>5,000 credits

>Kodiak Eyeware: The human eye can assemble images as large as 576 megapixels. A Kodiak Eyeware ocular implant reaches resolutions of 1000 megapixels, and allows for a variety of zoom functions. Shame the human brain isn’t built to handle that amount of information. A strict improvement over the Falconian Eye.
>Processing Power -4
>9,000 credits

>Ceramic Dentition: Replaces your teeth with gleaming white, maintenance free, ceramic copies!
>500 credits

>Boze Auditus: A gene mod that enhances your auditory abilities. Hear longer, hear louder, hear better. You can hear things from further away and may selectively shut off your eardrums to protect them from loud noises or sudden changes in pressure. If used alongside a Processor Implant will allow you to better triangulate things based on sound alone. and to process two conversations at once.

Alright guys, So I think everyone was agreed that we'd be getting the:

>Nan-Carb Skeleton
>Neo Hemoglobin
>Myocyte Pack Ares

And there was some debate between
>Hirosata Processor
and
>Dopa-SYNTHoid

>Hirosata Processor

It makes us smarter. Something our rookie is in dire need of.
>>
>>29663644

>>
>>29663684
>Pretty sure we need the dopa-synthoid with the way we've been working right now.

What? All we've been doing is ambushing. That's more of a thought process thing then a reaction time thing.
>>
>>29663792
Wait.

The processor increases reaction time as well right? Plus it raises intelligence... and its cheaper?

Processor raises reaction time, thought process, and processing power.

Dopa only raises reaction time but it raises it by ,ore. How much more? No clue ask Fall Guy.

You immediately click the checkboxes next to Myocyte Pack Ares, Nan-Carb Skeleton, and Neo Hemoglobin. Then you pause, considering Dopa-SYNTHoid and the Hirosata Processor. Considering the amount of time you spent agonizing which of these two augments you got on discount you’re surprised how you can’t remember which one you ended up settling on. After another few moments of consideration a pop up appears in your HUD. Last time you checked, gene-mods didn’t request driver updates. You click the Hirosata Processor and scroll down past the other augments you decided to go without.

Eventually you come across a section asking if there are any augmentations that StrikeOut offered that you possessed prior to joining. Wondering why they bothered asking, shit was already on file after all, you type in “Ceramic Dentition”.

Suddenly, the e-form starts scrolling on its own once more, and the Handler’s comm icon appears in the upper left corner of your HUD. “Good. Now don’t worry, we’re almost finished here. Just sign and click ‘ACCEPT’. Thank you for registering yourself with StrikeOut!”

The comm icon flashes off. You are looking at blank white box. A thin black line with the words “sign here” written underneath it lie roughly in the middle of the box.

>Well, what name do you sign?

>>29663644

You chortle to yourself as you fill in the signature box and hit accept. There is a moment’s pause before the e-form flashes red and your helmet honks obnoxiously into your ears. The Handler’s comm icon reappears. “Ha fuckity Ha jackass. We both know you aren’t ‘Mike Litoris’. Try again.”

Rolling your eyes you mentally scrawl your actual name into the signature box. You consider it for a moment.

>Ivan Parkas Kostov

Goddamn! For someone only a quarter Russian your signature positively reeks of vodka and misery. Only thing to offset it is Parkas, not even sure where that one comes from. Mumbling to yourself you hit accept once more. This time the e-form turns green and blinks away, freeing your vision to the outside world once more. You look around and see Darius stretch and you presume, yawn. The veteran looks at you and opens a comm-link. “Finally done?”

“Yeah, tried to have some fun with the signature box. Handler didn’t like it.”

“Mah [AFRICAN AMERICAN COMPANION].”

Darius raises his fist for a bump. As you tap knuckles you can’t help but flash back to when you used to do that sort of thing with your grandfather. How old is this guy? As you settle back down onto your seat in the tram a comm icon starts flashing once more. You open it gingerly.

If there’s one thing you’ve learned from basic, it’s to watch out for Elda Acerbi.

You are met with a scowl framed by curling brown hair. “I’ll tell you what’s going on smegma for brains. All that noise you and the Colonel managed to make ‘sneaking’ in here has tipped off Corp Sec in a major way. There’s a whole shitload of hostiles waiting for your asses at the Genomics Tram Station.”

Darius responds before you do. “What are we talking here? You got eyes on the hot spot?”

“Shit yes, sir. Two teams of security guards. And we have a Bipedal Armored Response Tank. looks to be packing a machine gun and grenade launcher.”

“Shit,” Darius swears over the comm link. “They brought out a fucking BART? This isn’t good. We need a plan now.”

"Layout is just like the Tram station you guys came from, if this map is to be believed. I'm actually in one of the atriums, got a clear view on the entire situation."

"Clear shot on everyone too?" you ask urgently.

"Yeah... Maybe. Can't see any opening on the BART to shoot though."

"Listen Elda, the BART has a key structural weakness right on the face plate where the camera's are located. Armor's way thinner there, and for whatever reason, that's where the operator's head does. I need you to tell me if you can make the shot."

"Yeah... yeah I think so."

"Good. fire as son as we arrive, then get to a new vantage point. We'll hash out the details."

Darius turns to face you.

>What do you suggest?
>>
>>29665162
Giving us shit when it's their fuck-up that got us into this in the first place.

Darius is the heavy, if he can lay down supporting fire, we have a...longshot at successfully tossing the tomahawk through the faceplate. Best case, it goes through and kills the pilot. Worst case, we miss completely and we're fucked.

>>29665308
this^
>>29665334

>>29665336
Lets do this first.
>>
>>29665336
We should have a backup for if the Sniper fails.

The main thing I got is throwing the Tomahawk, and gtfoing under Darius' fire support. No sense in putting ourselves in suicidal odds.
>>
ah crud.Cut the joints power cables, then smash the face via tomahawk.
>>
>>29665429
Oh yeah, first rule of mech combat: Break the knees.
>>
Alright, so if I'm reading things correctly we want to hang off of the underside of the tram in order to flank, hopefully Elda will take out the BART in one shot, throw tomahawk if not, and then deal with the details with Darius.

Also, Ivan has 2 OMPs, which are basically SMGs, that he looted from the guards. All guards are assumed to have this as their weapon unless I state otherwise.

The action plan is as follows:
>Hang onto underside of Tram
>Attempt to flank when Tram comes to a full and complete stop
>Throw/melee BART with tomahawk if necessary
>Take out remainder with guns

This is my preferred format for Plans of Attack. Suggestions are good too, but this may speed things up in the future.
>>
>>29665543
good enough
>>
>Hang onto underside of Tram
>Attempt to flank when Tram comes to a full and complete stop
>melee the knees off the BART
>run away, let our [AFRICAN COMPANIONS] deal with the mass of lowlies
>>
>>29665543
What's the armor like on the back of the BART, specifically behind the knee and at the calf?

Also, does Darius still have his Lazor?
>>
>>29665543

As an alternative how about:

>Hide low in tram car
> Pull into station
>Once Elda fires and the guards turn away mow them down
>>
>>29665608
Armor at joints is weak to nonexistent. Lots of vulnerable power cables. It's probably your best bet if you need to melee the BART
>>
>>29665543
>Hang onto underside of Tram

Am I to assume that this is even possible?
>>
>>29665640
That's what I thought. Where is it facing? Towards the tracks or away? Also, what are its sensors like?

Do you have a pic yet?
>>

“I won’t last two seconds if Elda doesn’t take out the BART in one shot. I need somewhere out of the lines of fire.”

Darius nods “Yeah, right now that’s my biggest concern. You don’t need to worry about me. My armor’s dealt with nastier shit before. But where will you go?”

“Down.”

“Down?”

“I’m going to hang off of the undercarriage of the Tram until we make it to the station. Once we’ve stopped I’ll try to loop around and flank them.”

“That’s so stupid I’m almost positive it’ll work.”

You start to clamber out of a window, “Hey, just gotta hope the ride stays as smooth as its been, right?”

“I suppose so, you fucking nutcase.”

You climb down along the side of the tram, careful to avoid the mag-lev struts and you ensconce yourself in the undercarriage, hanging onto a maintenance hatch. You hold tight for dear life as the tram begins to slow down. Eventually the tram comes to a complete stop. You release your grip on the hatch, landing catlike on all fours.

A few moments pass, then... a distant crack.

“Shit! I missed the sweet spot!”

“Elda! They know where you are now, GET CLEAR!” roars Darius into the comm-link.

You hurry forward and press your back against the cool concrete of the platform. Not a moment later and a salvo of cracks sounds out from above you.

“I… I think Elda managed to clip the BART anyway. He hasn’t fired his heavy machine gun yet. I’m gonna see if I can’t bring this sucka down right here, right now.”

You pop up from cover to empty the chambers of your Model 223 revolver. Only half of the shots connect with security personnel, but those that do completely devastate them. You estimate three down after that little display. Then from above comes the thooping hum of Darius’ railgun firing. It may just be you, but for whatever reason you think you hear some sounds like raindrops off of a tin roof.

“Fuck! How the hell do you work the power modulator on this fucker?”

Seems like Darius is having gun trouble again. May need to take matters into your own hands. You are loathe to do it, but you open up a comm-link to Elda. “Hey Elda? I need some covering fire.”

“What do you think I’ve been doing, busone?”

“Yeah well keep it up. I’m going to put that BART down.”

“What? Wait stop, what are you talking about?”

You don’t have time to answer the italian woman’s questions, however, as you burst out of cover, enhanced leg muscles propelling you forward in a long low arc. The surrounding guards can only gape in surprise at you as you run past them in a zigzag, attempting to mislead their fire. In the distance you can hear some rapid cracks as Elda empties her magazine into the guards. You are nearing the BART now, the armored unit standing two and a half meters tall. The towering mech fires its grenade launcher at you. More accurately it fires its grenade launcher after you, the slow rate of fire and low projectile speed means that it’s shots land meters behind you.

You are now within melee range of the BART. It welcomes you into its personal space with a swing of its heavy robotic arm. You duck it, and the arm passes over your head by centimeters. You take advantage of your low stance to score a hit on the back of the BART’s right knee. You roll clear as the mech falls to one knee. The operator is trying to turn around now, however, the gimped knee and inherent slowness of the suit prevents him from rotating at any reasonable speed. You stay right behind him, hacking away with your tomahawk. After multiple activations of the Seismic Amplifier the BART collapses to the ground, the operator quite dead.

You take a moment to crow over your kill. A bad decision all things considered. The few surviving security guards open fire with their OMPs, and this time, they actually manage to hit you. The barrage of gunfire might not be enough to penetrate your armor, but it sure as shit is enough to knock you down. You attempt to burrow yourself into the protective nook at the BART’s armpit as more OMP fire hisses above you. You’re about to wonder if they’re ever going to stop shooting their dead comrade, you hear the distinctive hum of Darius’ railgun firing.

“Left squad is completely eliminated rookies! Only the boys on the right to worry about!”

You seize one of the OMPs you pilfered from security and fire from behind the torso of the downed BART. A few distant cracks follow your slavo. Then, silence. You pop your head up from behind the cover of the BART’s corpse and are confronted with a team of security officers who would be due for some sizable comp had they survived. Elda’s Windcutter does the same thing that your Model 223 does to people, except from 400 meters away. You look to see if your slavo of OMP fire hit anything.

It did. A banner depicting a smiling child holding the hand of a Kagokushi suit if now filled with holes. You find the amount of shots around the suit’s crotch oddly satisfying. You turn to see Darius walking up to you, his comm-icon blinking in your visor. After a few seconds you click it. You feel a little fuzzy.

“You are a goddamned crazy mother fucker, rookie!”

You attempt to wave at the oncoming vet. You don’t, instead you clutch your upper arm as pain shoots out from it and into your stomach. You pull your hand away. It’s dripping with red.

“Ow.”

Darius looks at you quizzically. You wave your left hand at him. “Aw shit.”

“Elda! You got medical training?” Darius bellows over the squad comm link.

“Sir! Yes sir!”

“Get your ass down here. Looks like Rambo bit off more than he could chew.”

Darius props you up against the side of the BART and looks you over. “Huh. Nothing a bit of medijell can’t fix. Just stay in place rookie.”

You nod dumbly as a fourth comm-icon appears on your HUD.

“Hahahahaha holyyy shit Darius. Did your rookie just get fragged?”

“Shut it, Take Out. Just a scratch.”

“Yuh huh.” The fourth comm icon vanishes from your HUD.

After a few more minutes of waiting, Elda appears. You can’t really see much through her armor, but the way she pauses with her hands on her knees indicated that she double timed it over to you. She bustles over to you and begins to spray medijell into the wound. The injury is already closing and you stop feeling so fuzzy.

“Mixed in a stim. Keep you on your toes, culo.”

“Hey! No mixing meds rookie number two!” admonishes Darius as he helps you to your feet.

“Alright, now we come at a cross roads. Doctor Tachibana is somewhere in this building, can’t be sure where. So what’s the plan, rookies?”

You wander over the the downed BART and start fiddling around with the hyrdaulics in its right knee, the knee you severed. After a few minutes with your mini-welder you get to your feet and pop off the motion control panel. Some tech stuff later and you’ve gained complete control the the BART’s movement systems. You stand back from the mech suit and exult “And God said, let there be huge walker suits with dead guys inside of them!”

The mech fails to stand, the right leg completely giving out despite your tender ministrations. “Oh damnit.”

“Very impressive.”

“So is your dulce culo, Elda.”

You only barely manage to duck in time to avoid the OMP Elda flings face-ward.

“Alright alright you two. It would’ve been damned cool if your plan had worked rookie, but it hasn’t,” Says Darius, placing himself in between the two of you. “Take Out! We’re going to rendezvous at the main atrium. Meet us there and we can sweep the building.”

The three of you spend the next five minutes standing awkwardly in the middle of the atrium. Then, without warning, a stout man in blast resistant armor drops down from the second floor observation deck.

“Hey guys, big news,” shouts Sergeant Choi “Take Out” Lei, waving at the three of you. “Tachibanana isn’t in his office any more.”

“I figured,” grumbles Darius. “I hope you know?”

“Hell yeah my niggling friend. All the scientists in the Genomics division are in some panic room in the basement. Crazy guarded, you feel me?”

“Where is it?”

“Here, follow me. It’s in the basement.”

The top heavy Take Out leads you all to an elevator shaft. “Down here,” he says gesturing to the cable. With surprising swiftness the man removes a belay from his belt and begins to descend down the shaft. Darius follows suit, followed by Elda.

Despite lacking any real prior experience with belaying you manage to descend the elevator shaft without incident. Touching down on the ground, you release yourself from the cable and look at the rest of your squad. Choi Lei gestures you forward and you take position at the opposite wall. The two of you scan the hallway before moving forward, Darius and Elda providing overwatch support. This continues for a quarter of an hour as the squad inches towards the panic room. Just as you’re about to turn a corner, Choi Lei places a hand on your shoulder, shaking his head.

“Two BARTs ahead. Nasty motherfuckers too. I know one of them has a flame thrower.”

“How’d you figure that, Take Out?” Comms in Darius.

Choi Lei turns slightly to reveal scorch marks on the bum plate of his suit. “Old fashioned way.”

“Dumbass.”

“So wait,” Elda asks, “I thought you were the explosives expert. This seems right up your alley sir.”

Lei runs his hand along the inside of his bomb collar. “Yes and no. Yes I could take both of the BARTs out in one blast, but there’s a real risk of structural damage. Falling buildings and shit like that. Don’t think I’d want to transport our distinguished doctor through all of that.”

“So… What do we do?” Asks Elda.

You break away from the squad and peek down the corridor. It’s long and narrow. In the distance it widens, where two BARTs are standing guard about 40 meters away, looking up the corridor.

“Hey, they’re facing in our direction guys,” you inform the squad. “That means that their cameras are wide open to us.”

“Go on rookie,” prompts Darius. “You have anything you wanna share?”

Yeah, no. The cameras are the thinnest part of the armor, and our snipers have a clear shot. One shot, one kill.

>>29669060
Darius takes one, Elda takes the other. The objective is to simultaneously snipe both of the BARTs in their respective weak points. If they both duck out of cover and shoot at the same time, they should be able to down both without exposing themselves to return fire.

40 meters, well that's annoying. Hard to cover that distance without getting shot up or burnt to a crisp, nowhere to really dodge inside that corridor. They hardly even need to aim, just point their weapons down it and open fire and they'll probably hit anyone trying to make their way towards them.

There any side paths? Alternate routes? Anything like that?

Our best chance that I can think of currently is for snipers to take shots at their cameras and hoping for a good shot and taking them down.

How is hacking a computer going to help us with the GIANT, HUMAN PILOTED MECH?

Even if we had full, 100% access to this facility, that wouldn't effect the closed systems that the mech suits are, in any way.
>>
>>29669589

I'm a computer technician IRL and man, do they ever remember the software?
>>
>>29669624
You can always try something, even if you don't have the skill required for it.

Tech and Hacking both default to a DC 27+ skill check if you aren't trained though.

A nat 30 will always succeed. I've decided this is so because it's crazy unlikely.
>>
>>29669634

If you used the commlink you got last thread you would be able to remotely access and hack the BARTs

>100% access to this facility

You know this is a (possibly military grade) tech integrated genetics research lab. Do you know the shit we could do whit full access to their systems?

>>29669697
Case in point
>>
>29669634

Assumption: BART's are closed systems. Bad one. Even our personal power suits have commo. Subsequent assumption: That BART security is unbreakable. Bad one. Its called 'hacking', not 'asking nicely and taking no for an answer.' Assumption: That without software the human pilot will be awesomely effective and move a 1 ton suit. Bad one. Delete the software and the pilot is in an unmoving tin can. We haven't had uncomputerized large weapons since the 1970's.

Read a book, kids.
>>
>>29669634
ok i voted tech and i know this is retarted
>>
Tech skills are probably going to be a lot more useful once we have some time to mess with looted parts, post-mission. Just think of the neat things you can do with bits of a maglev system and lucky rolls.
>>
let peace again boys, let FallGuy keep this fiesta up

>>
>>29669777
Wait, wait wait, why the fuck would they program the suits so that anyone who could access their communications system, could fuck up the entire suit? The guy who designed that system should be fucking -shot- for making a worthless machine.
>>

dude, relax and study some software. You get to root, you get godmode. We have the root password, therefore we are cybergod.

>so that anyone who could access their communications system, could fuck up the entire suit?

ecause no one with access the system would ever have a reason to do something that pantsu on head retarded. A malicious hacker on the other hand...

It's basically the same with all compromised systems.
>>
>>29669882
But..no. That doesn't make sense. "Hey Jim, check it out! I made it so you can access the firing software through the comms system!"
>>
“Yeah. I was thinking that you and Elda could take them out from a distance.”

“Holy mother of god. The cacsado actually has a plan that doesn’t feature himself. Amazing.”

Ignoring Elda you continue, “And I was thinking that I could try my hand at calibrating your weapon si- Darius. You know, so it doesn’t gib all the scientists or bounce off of the BART’s armor?”

“Sounds good sounds good.”

Darius hands over the strange gun to you. You grunt underneath its weight. “Holy fuck sir. This thing is massive.”

“Here, lemme get that for you,” Darius says as he lifts the railgun out of your hands.

“Thanks,” you mumble as you begin to fiddle around with the console on the side of the Railgun. After a few minutes you step back from it, pleased. “Alright si- Darius. I think this bad boy is ready to go.”

“Thanks rookie,” Darius mutters as he and Elda slide into position. “On my mark. One. Two. Three. Fire.”

There are twin cracks as the two weapons discharge. You manage to poke your head out just in time to see the two BARTs collapse onto the floor.

“Nice shootin’ Tex!”

You jump slightly and turn to see Choi Lei standing behind you, completely exposed to any incoming fire from the hallway. You watch as the stout man strides up to the door and hammers on it with a free hand. “Oi! Emproyees of Grorious Nipponu~! Open the FUCK up before I start shooting!”

There is a several seconds pause before the door slides open, revealing a huddle of terrified scientists and technicians. Choi Lei wades through the crowd, returning a few minutes later with a terrified bespectacled woman. “Found her. What do we do with the rest?”

>Well what do you do with the rest?
>Kill em
>Leave em
>Take em
>>
>>29669917
But if you;re designing a -military- platform, you should expect that someone would try to hack it!

It's a combat mech, not a fucking McDonalds serverbot!

I think we've established that that isn't necessary and there for unimportant.

Fall Guy has said this mission is more like a tutorial than anything else. Perhaps things will be more difficult in the future.

Or maybe trying to hack via communicator would entail a high DC skill check?

It's all academic anyway. We aren't trained in Hacking (yet)
>>
Alright, seems like looting them and then taking everyone in the bunker hostage is the majority decision.

“Take their wallets then turn them over to NeoLogos.”

Darius claps you on the back, laughing. “Looks like you’ve been listening rookie! Alright everybody, we split the takings from these guys four ways. Evenly.”

The four of you spend the next thirty minutes patting down confused scientists for their wallets. Eventually Darius transfers an equal split of the takings to each of you.

+1567 credits

The squad shepherds the scientists out into the evac zone, which happens to be the roof of the Genomics Tram Station, where your ride will be coming in about an hour. You stand in front of the huddled mass of PhDs and MDs and announce “You all work for NeoLogos now. Any questions?”

A pair of index fingers stick up into the air. You point at the two scientists, one man and one woman. The man speaks up. “Please, sir. Let my wife go. We cannot leave our children all alone.”

Before you can respond Choi Lei stomps forwards. “Oh yeah? What’s in it for us, assuhoru~?”

The man stammers for a second before finding his voice. “I am working on new gene mod. I can give you research data if you let me go and retrieve it.”

“Okay, I’ll go with you to make sure no funny shit happens,” Choi Lei replies, before Darius lays a hand on the man’s shoulder.

“I want the squad together in case Kagokushi security tries any last minute funny business. No one with a StrikeOut logo on their back is going anywhere.”

>What should you do?
>Trust the man to come back with the gene mod for the sake of his wife
>Let the man and/or the woman go. Who gives two shits about some scientists
>Let no one go. This could all just be a clever ploy.

>Trust the man to come back with the gene mod for the sake of his wife

No one said we had to take him anyway. Tell him to swear on the lives of his wife and children and if he does give him like eight minutes.

Wait, first make sure she really is his wife.

Well, we sorta smashed the Security team's defenses so it's not like we're trying to make a stealthy get away.
But I agree with Darius, don't split up.

Let them go for free. Seem like nice folks right?
Or do we not have the ability to sense a motive
>>
>>29670474
We have their wallets, and I think they'd still have nametags as well. Make sure that she actually is his wife.

If it is his wife then we can let him go and get the gene mod data.

If not, then he's been lying to us and we really can't trust him.

You stomp up the the two scientists and take an ID badge in each of your hands. You can’t read Japanese, but the characters in the first name, which is the family name as you recall, look the same. You release the pair of them and point at the man. “Go.”

The scientist hurries away, bowing deeply as he retreats. Thirty minutes pass. Then you hear loud huffing as the scientist ascends the stairs to the top of the Tram Station. The man stumbles up towards you, and places a data chit into your hand. “This is our newest gene mod. It is only just out of alpha test phase.”

“Hey cool,” you respond as you slide the data chip into the appropriate port on your suit’s personal computer. “You and the wife can go I suppose.”

The man and woman look up at you, gaping in surprise. “Go on, git I said!” you shout.

The man and woman retreat from you, bowing deeply as they descend the stairs. You turn to see Elda standing behind you. “That was surprisingly kind of you.”

“Yeah well,” you answer more surprised at her tone than anything else, “just felt like it, you know?”

The rest of the hour passes on in silence. A silence broken by roar of thrusters as a large transport HOEV lands on the Tram Station roof. As you push the scientists into the HOEV you take a moment to look back on the Kagokushi Genomics Building. You sigh as the door closes and the HOEV lifts away from the site of your very first mission.

Your the best Fall Guy, haven't had a quest that fun in a good while.

Are you by any chance going to put up a stat sheet for MC?

I'll try to have one done up by the time the next thread is up
>>

Following your twitter now. Enjoy your writing style. Enjoy your combat style. Enjoy all of it.

One complaint: Please do put the Thread number in the Subject OP. That way we can tell them apart without needing the archive.

Thanks.
And happy to see you actually did it, Fall Guy. I think I was the guy to encourage you when you first pitched this idea.
>>
>>29671012
Loved everything about the threads.

Can't wait for the debriefing; will stalk your twitter for more.
