>Recap
After allowing Androids 17 and 18 to completely destroy Doctor Gero's lab, you and the others returned to West City. 17 left to work while the rest of you went into Capsule Corporation, where you asked Doctor Briefs about any scientists who could be connected to Doctor Gero. For some reason, you believed Doctor Wheelo to be the one behind the disappearance of Androids 5,6, and 16, as well as the unleashing of Androids 13, 14, and 15. You left Bulma to research Doctor Wheelo, while you took Android 18 to have the bomb removed from her chest. You had an uneasy feeling, so you stayed in the room with her during the surgery. After she woke up, you went back to the computer lab to see what Bulma had found out and ask Fita if she wanted to come with you and 18 to Wheelo's lab. While Bulma put the coordinates into your scouters, you went back to the main lab to find Doctor Briefs and several scientists had been shoot and killed. On top of that, Android 18 was missing. Still seeing it as your only lead, you went to Wheelo's lab, only to find he had nothing to do with what had happened. He attempted to attack you, and so you destroyed him. Out of ideas, you took Fita's suggestion and travelled to Kami's lookout in order to trigger a vision. Through the vision, you saw that 18, as well as Raditz, were being held by a female scientist who plans to rebuild the Red Ribbon Army. You are able to sense Raditz, but barely. And so, you now have a means of finding your friends
>>
Finally, something you can use.

You may not be able to sense his energy, but stretching out with your mind you can just barely feel his consciousness. He is far to the South, near the southern end of the continent. You can't determine an exact location, but you do know the general area. With Instant Transmission, you can get there in, well...an instant.

But should you go alone? You don't know what they have waiting for you there, and 17 was adamant about wanting to help save his sister. But, if something goes wrong, maybe it would be better if you alone suffer for it. But then again, you may be unable to handle this alone.

>A. Teleport to where you sense Raditz, you'll do this alone

>B. Teleport to Capsule Corp, you want backup

Find his signature and take 17 with you. Tell Bulma telepathically to create a signaljammer to disrupt the bombsignals.

Hide power level, go in. Nab the first scientist we find, take information on anything they might have done to either Raditz or 18 and how to reverse it. Then kill the scientist. Retrieve 18 and Raditz, go to CC.

Then come back in force when they have nothing to hold over our heads.
>>
>>29658070
Contact 17 and let him know that there's some new Red Ribbon business going down, but we need him to get that bomb removed before we can loop him in 'cause we can almost guarantee that these guys have the destruct codes. Then mark Radditz's location on a map, grab a couple strong allies and get over there!

Again, takes time and makes us more obvious while we're there. The telepathy is a good idea.

By Som's admission, the new RRA is at a 9.5 on the "how-fucked-are-we-now" scale. And nothing we've seen IC would disconfirm that. So as long as they can't set off 17's bomb and kill off our friends and family, we have this absolutely in the bag.
>>

You ask that Fita hides her power level for now, and tell her that you will do the same. She agrees, and you place your hands on both her and 17, using Instant Transmission to teleport to the area where you sense Raditz. You find yourself in a wasteland, not far from where you battled Android 19 and Doctor Gero. Massive rock formations are scattered about, along with vast canyons and flat, rocky land.

You can tell Raditz is nearby, but you can't sense him clearly enough to tell any real direction from here. Sensing will do you no good here, the your only real option is to search with your eyes. But where should you start looking?

>A. Check the rock formations

>B. Search the canyons

>C. Just walk around and see if you spot anything

>D. Go to the area where you fought Android 19

>E. Go to the canyon where you battled Doctor Gero

>F. Forget it, give up and go back to Capsule Corp.

I don't like any of those options. They all feel like avenues for forced drama.

I'll go with whatever the fuck anyone else wants to do.
>>
>>29659097
How are they avenues for forced drama? You're searching for a lab entrance, and these are the places in the area you sense Raditz
>>
>>29659117
And none of them seem any more or less likely to succeed, on the surface of it. So one (not F) is the correct choice, and the others are all there to burn time.

If I were forced to choose, I'd call >B, because the only way to make sense of arbitrarily not being able to sense Raditz despite our close proximity would be that they were deep underground, and a canyon would be the best place to hide a secret entrance to an underground facility.

So I guess I vote >B.
>>
>>29659198
Actually, I think I managed to find an option that made some sense through sheer frustration. We couldn't sense Wheelo because he was under a glacier, and putting the entrance to an underground facility on TOP of a rock formation makes no goddamn sense.

You decide to search the nearby canyons. Flying slowly in order to keep your power hidden, you search them one at a time, checking thoroughly. Finally, after about ten minutes of searching, you come across a large gap in the canyon wall, mostly covered by rocks.

You decide this is worth investigating. It's a simple matter to move the rocks out of the way. The gap in the canyon wall goes on for several feet, then stops at a hole in the ground. Approaching the hole, you hold your hand above it, and use your ki to light it up. You see a ladder going down, leading to a metallic floor.

You decide to go inside, climbing down the ladder and winding up in a long hallway. 17 and Fita follow you, and the three of you stand at the bottom of the ladder, trying to decide which way to go.

You still can't sense 18, but you feel Raditz somewhere down the hall to your right. To your left, you sense thousands of small power levels, probably the Red Ribbon soldiers from your vision. Your first instinct is, of course, to go and find Raditz. But what about the army? If they catch wind of what you're doing, they could escape while you rescue your friends. On the other hand, if you go after the soldiers, whoever is holding Raditz could escape with him and 18.

You tell Fita and 17 to go left and deal with the soldiers, while you go right and save Raditz.

"This is going to be fun" 17 says with a smirk, turning and dashing down the hall.

"Good luck, be safe" Fita tells you before giving you a quick kiss and following him.

You travel alone towards Raditz. It's a long walk down a long hallway, but you don't run into any trouble. And running makes it a much shorter trip. Soon, you come to a large metal door. As expected, it's locked. There is a small panel next to it, which you assume you enter a code into in order to open the door.

You can sense Raditz on the other side of the door, so rather than messing around and probably setting off alarms, you simply teleport past the door. You find yourself in the same room you saw in your vision. There are surgical tables everywhere, and a pair of empty pods. Strangely enough, they are labeled "17" and "18". Looking around the room, you see the male scientist from your vision sitting at his desk, writing something down. 18 and Raditz are on surgical tables nearby. If you move quickly and quietly, you can grab them and get out without the man noticing.

No, better stay in there in case we miss... something.

You silently move behind the man and clamp a hand over his mouth. He struggles and tries to scream, but the sounds are muffled, and against your strength, he has no chance of escape. You open your mind to his, and you feel him panic as you enter his thoughts, sifting through his memories, searching for information of what has been done to Raditz and 18, and how it can be undone.

The first thing you see is his memory of capturing 18. After you had left the room, he pulled out a gun and shot Doctor Briefs, along with the other scientists, before running towards 18. She seemed surprised, but unafraid, preparing to kill the man, when he pulled a shutdown remote from his jacket and activated it before 18 had time to react. He had quickly taken her and hid with her in a janitors closet nearby, using her scouter to keep track of your movements. When you and the others left to go find Wheelo, he quickly ran to the computer lab, accessing it with a card he had taken from Doctor Briefs. He quickly downloaded the entire Capsule Corporation database onto a small pad, before running to the medical wing, where he found Raditz still in the rejuvenation chamber. He had discreetly added a powerful sedative to the fluids in the chamber, keeping him asleep while he grabbed him, before escaping with both him and 18. Apparently, since then, Raditz has been periodically injected with more of the sedative, while 18 has remained shut down until she can be reprogrammed. Reactivating her will take the equivalent of a brain surgery.

You continue searching his mind, looking for any information they have on the bomb inside of Android 17's chest. You find that they are well aware of it, and have a device that can cause it to detonate. The drawback is, that like the shutdown remote, it has to be used at close range. There are only two. He owns one, and Doctor Gurba has the other. His remote is in a drawer in the desk in front of him.

With him no longer of use to you, you snap his neck, killing him effortlessly. Now that you're out of his mind, you have about a second to register that someone else is now in the room with you before a syringe is stabbed into the back of your neck, and everything goes black.

You don't know how much time has passed when you wake up, but you do know you can't move. You feel incredibly weak, and looking down, you see your wrists and ankles bound to a metal surface. However, you soon realize that isn't what's keeping you from moving.

On either side of you stand what appears to be a young man with red hair and blue eyes, and a larger man with long blonde hair and blue eyes. You can't sense them, so you conclude that they are most likely androids. They grip your arms tightly, and you feel yourself becoming weaker and weaker. You're struggling to stay conscious. Looking around the room, you see Raditz and 18, still lying motionless on the surgical tables.

You hear laughter, and the woman from your vision steps into your line of sight, grinning down at you joyously.

"Well, well, look who's awake" she greets. "I expected you'd be asleep for far longer you know."

And? So we figure out what the risk of 17's bomb is, kill the loose end, then take 18 and Raditz to Fita. Have her take them to Capsule Corp so Raditz can sleep it off and either Bulma can take a crack at getting 18 back up and running or at least they're both safe until Dr. Briefs is alive again.

We finish things up here with 17, IT him to a wasteland on mars for safety purposes until we can get that bomb out of him.

It makes sense.

You just did. But it doesn't take back the sun. Just take it as learning experience. Run a new quest with everything that you've learned. Also, it's dbz. The worst thing that could possibly happen is we become a wish. There doesn't really have to be an end at all. We could send a few of our kids and a few gaurdians to take planets in the corners of the galaxy and make dragons balls, wish for immortality and constantly wish us back. Or we could wish for immortality. Then the bitches.

"I need help!" you tell them. "But keep 17 away."

Fita tells you she's on her way. 17 doesn't seem happy about it, but he agrees to keep away for now. You end the mental connection, feeling even more tired now. You can't remember the last time you felt this weak.

Your vision blurs for a few seconds, but with a few shakes of your head you can see clearly again. And what you see makes your blood run cold. The woman has picked up some sharp, thoroughly unpleasant looking surgical tools, and is walking towards Android 18.

You decide to kill her before she can do anything to hurt 18. You swipe with your left wrist, only to have horrific pain shoot through your body, convulsing with currents of electricity. The woman looks over at you and smiles.

"Come now, I'm not that foolish" she tells you. "That table and those binders are made to detect when you are about to release energy. They will shock you like that whenever you try."

You suddenly hear something crash against the door, but the woman does not even react, simply grabbing her tools and standing with her back to you, effectively blocking out the sight of what she's doing to 18. You can't hear anything, but you see the woman's arms moving.

Suddenly, the door explodes and Fita comes rushing into the room. She sees 18 and her eyes widen in horror. She prepares to blast the woman, only to be blasted herself by the larger of the two Androids holding you down.

Alarms blare, and the androids leave your side, approaching Fita. She charges them, and they meet her head on.

Flood the doctor's mind with the most powerful feelings we can think of. Our planet being destroyed, the feeling of terror when we thought our wives were killed, the self-loathing when we turned SSJ2 the first time, our deep seated fear of Popo.

Ending up just in front of the table, you struggle to stand upright. Fita is getting pummeled by the two Androids, and is soon sent crashing into a wall. She reemerges in her Super Human form, and rips the Androids to shreds.

The sound of the alarms continues, and you hear something crashing against a door on the other side of the room.

You kill the woman with a single energy blast. Looking at 18, you see that her head has been cut open. It is not a pretty sight. You think Bulma will be able to help her if you can get her back to Capsule Corp.

With a crash, the door on the other side of the room is reduced to a pile of rubble, and a massive figure steps into the room. He is incredibly tall and muscular, with a red Mohawk and all green clothing. The insignia of the Red Ribbon Army is on his left side.

"Aww, come on, we've had worse situations" Goku says somewhat optimistically.

"Maybe, but this still isn't good" Fita tells him.

The match between Salta and Spina ends in a draw. They stand across from each other, breathing heavily and drenched in sweat. They see you and both grin. Spina runs over to you and tackles you in a hug.

We should focus on disarming the bomb detonator remote controllers before we directly deal with 16.

Secondly, one plan for dealing with 16 could be to IT him to the other side of the universe and dump him on an empty planet? We would need either 17 or 18s help to restrain him so he doesn't kill us while we IT though. Thus the disarming of the remotes first.

SSJ2 is referred to as "ascended super saiyan", both by Goku and other characters. Vegeta even comments that Gohan "did it right", implying that the failed technique that was variously known as "ascended super saiyan" or "ultra super saiyan" was intended to achieve the same effect. But it wasn't the real deal, just like how Vegeta kept referring to himself as a super saiyan on Namek.

So it makes sense to refer to SSJ2 as "ascended super saiyan".

This. Take everyone to Mars.

Change of scenery, and it keeps SOM from jewing the rest of the family out of super awesome teleportation magic.
>>
>>29667213
IIRC we're the only one we know of who can sense things between planets.
>>
>>29667254
OK, well I still stand by my idea that we should only teach our wives (maybe bardock too) and no one else. The kids aren't ready to know and the others are too potentially dangerous to teach.

"Actually, I was about to teach my wives how to teleport" you tell him. "I'll take all of you there, and use it as a training ground."

"Works for me, I do love learning new tricks" 17 says agreeably.

"That does sound useful to me" Salta agrees.

With that, you gather Salta, Spina, Fita, Bulma, Vegeta, 17, and 18. You use your Instant Transmission to take them all to Mars. Bulma immediately takes 18 to the lab to begin operating, while you teach the others about instant transmission. It takes less than an hour for them all to master it.

"Well, this should come in handy" 17 comments.

Everyone thanks you for teaching them the technique. Salta, Spina, and Fita teleport back to Earth, while 17 goes to wait near the lab for 18, and Vegeta goes to talk with Fita's parents.

More or less agreed. I think Raditz has grown surprisingly trusting of us, though, so it might be okay to teach him, and Goku is in the same camp.

Mostly I just don't trust Vegeta (arrogant and reckless in battle), or Nappa (kind of an idiot, focuses too heavily on imagined "threats").

Honestly, I'm not as concerned about Vegeta or 17. Mostly I'd be concerned about the kids using it to do something stupid, or Nappa misusing it later down the road.

Besides, I'm sure Salta, Spina, and Fita can teach their own respective broods.

You tell 17 about the Saiyan race, their enslavement under Frieza, your own missions for the PTO, and the destruction of your planet at the hands of the being you served. You tell him of your adventures after that, your quest for vengeance and a future for your race.

17 listens intently the entire time, and nods when you finish. "I guess we aren't so different after all" he says with a chuckle.

At that moment, Bulma steps back from the surgical table, and 18 sits up, looking around in fright and confusion. She calms down when she sees the people around her. 17 grins and walks over to her, giving her a hug which she happily returns.

"Glad to have you back, sis" he says.

"It's a thousand years of genocide and tyranny."

Start with the Saiyan uprising on Plant, giving both sides of the story as we've heard it. Highlight the arrival of the Arcosians, the years in service of Freiza, Frieza's genocide, and our wandering the galaxy.

Then talk about how we got to Earth, and found ourselves welcomed. Started fighting to defend others from progressively stronger threats. How we started a big family, and basically became the first saiyan father in a thousand years.

End with how much to everyone's shock and dismay, we actually suggested sacrificing ourselves to stop 16.

It's a hell of a story.

You walk over to her, moving to hug her, but stop awkwardly halfway through the gesture, leading to snickers from 17. She raises an eyebrow and gives you a quick hug.

"You mostly have him and Fita to thank for saving you" 17 tells her.

She looks at you. "Is that right? Thank you."

She gives you another quick hug and hops off the table.

"And of course, you have Bulma here to think for repairing you" 17 tells her.

Are the Androids capable of increasing their power level? Not sure if it being static is a limitation or if they just haven't trained.

Being partially human, they are capable of growing stronger, though obviously at a much slower rate than a Saiyan would.
