The Sifu, a few tables over, is an attractive (tho that is almost the norm around novas) asian woman with very long, snow-colored hair. She seems to be in her very early twenties, tho appearances are a poor hint for homo sapiens novus. She is having a large meal of greens, and is dressed in a very stylish version of a work out suit.

She looks more like a model than a spiritual and fitness advisor, somehow. Her mannerisms are quite feminine in an almost old fashioned manner. Reminds you a lot of your companion.

She notices you looking at her, and greets you with a nod and a smile, but doesn't seems to mind.

Combat-wise, I think air is a very underrated element, the problem is that many of the more powerful abilities don't really lend themselves to arena fighting. Using air to keep your opponent off the mat for more than two rounds? Probably seen as incredibly cheap.

Flying? time limit/enclosed space, Cutting gales? Lethal damage in non-lethal sport. Suffocating people by creating a vacumn, or shoving too much air down their pipes? Too brutal and not visually impressive.

Honestly, I feel like the other traditional elements are better combat-wise, although it does make for some pretty impressive stuff.

The problem is that wind has *plenty* of ways to wind, but being an invisible and intangible element, it's probably the least entertaining visually.

Well, Mako and Mai are innocent in different ways, or it would be better to say degrees? to begin with, Mako would be unable to use violence for any reason.
