If something is trying to punch us Protect Ball hurts it just as much as it protects us, assuming a good roll which we can generally expect with a Heart spell.

I agree with the more information entiment but personally I prefer this.I like that the MC was proactive enough to take a stand early on rather than sit on his fucking thumbs waiting for info or something horrible to happen to finally kick him into gear. It's refreshing to see a lack of indecisiveness and a clear goal rather than just sitting there reacting and being ground between the stones.An early start isn't bad.
