Roll to go completely insane and commit suicide, thereby ending the quest.
>>
Around you: The arsenal of the Hollow Sun, great rows of alien firearms stretching outwards to infinity. In your hands - The Arc Gun and the Immolator, ozone and brimstone; The low hum of their charging elements engaging, drawing power from fusion cells and your armour's reactor...

It's a strange feeling, girding yourself for war. The Arsenal Beacon's case is maglocked to your back, next to the Graviton Cannon - A faint whirr echoing in the vast space, as you dry-fire the Immolator. The pilot light flickers, as the top barrel expands: The compressor whirring as it inhales, a fitful orange glow - Like a turbojet engine - flickering within the weapon's core.

"-So, what's this all about, then?"

Tyrian Edge's voice is filtered of all emotion: But there's a curiosity to him - Curiosity, and the beginnings of unease - as he looks on. Perhaps it's not the weapons he finds disquieting, but your proficiency with them - Methodical, precise, every item with a place and a function...

You've had plenty of time to learn patience, in the Red.

-Or perhaps it's just something in the air.

"I mean..." he gestures, with a gloved hand. "...You're - You've been at this for some time now, and I figure it *has* to make sense to someone..."

Regarding the new entry into the tachyon weaponary...

What about getting it and just orbital bombard the dungeon we're about to into? Use the tri-stars to attack us to charge our meter. Keep using the LOIC to wreck that thing.

> [X] "You can't think like that."

Tyrian subsides, uneasily. His faceplate cants down, regarding the black tiles underfoot - The low hum of the Hollow Sun's machine-pulse a constant drone.

"-Sorry."

> [X] "I don't know, but...I think it's all coming to a head."

Yes. It's a sense you've had, growing stronger with each day: The strange, foreboding thought that time - Whatever remains of it - is running out. Your words hang in the air, as you clamp your weapons into place; The solid metal-on-metal clang of the electromagnetic receivers punctuating your words.

> [X] "I'm not sure, but I think the Smilers are behind it."

Tyrian winces - His helm's expressionless, but his nervous posture's enough: "...I was afraid you'd say that," he mutters, almost to himself. "-Of *course* it'd be them: First the Holophusikon, and now the *storm*..." Tyrian's breath rasps from the grille of his helmet, in a rasping exhalation.

"After *last* time, I'd be happy if I never saw any of the bastards again." There's a rueful 'if only we'd be so lucky' note to his voice, the toe of one steel-shod boot gouging against the deck plating - "Ah, hell...What can you do?"

> [X] "I've set up a meeting with Palladium Rook. I'm not going to force you to help, but any assistance you could give would be greatly appreciated."
> [X] "I've set up a meeting with Palladium Rook, and I might need your help later."

"-I'll get the word out. Bishamon, Regios...They've been lying low, but they should be up for it." Amber light flickers behind the eyeslits of Tyrian's helm: "Look, Joker - Whatever's between you and Bishamon, he trusts you. Which means I *should*, too, but..."

He hesitates, for a long moment - but then takes the plunge, anyway.

"I already know that, Tyrian."

Voting that we head off to meet Argent Prominence already. Let's not get stalled here.

>Use the tri-stars to attack us to charge our meter.
That's idiotic. The place we're attempting to raid isn't near the surface, nor is it near the entrance we're taking, the Leukocyte's weaponry isn't going to help.

>>29360877
"I know. I wasn't planning on taking you in. Do you know the first rule of outdoorsmanship? 'Let someone know where you're going.' You three are it. If--when--things get bad, there's going to be a retreat. There might be pursuers. Fresh combatants can ward them off, or destroy them. Some of the raiding team might need emergency evac, which is why I want one of you here and hooked into Red Comet. Four presses of the Emblem and whoever's in the Guardian comes to where I am.

"And if I don't come back, someone needs to know why."

"Now, I want you to take the Reactor and build Leucykote. What do you think of the name 'Side 3'?"
>>
>>29361065

I was think of using repeated blasts. It's not like the underground base can move. AEW destroys the surrounding area and induces earthquakes so multiple blasts can fuck up an underground base something fierce.
>>
>>29361143
The Red World seems to be partially based on videogame logic. An earthquake in one area doesn't mean that it'll effect anything that lacks the proper "reaction" trigger.

Also, the AEW fires once for 55 meter. Given that you get far less meter for being damaged, we'd have to die several times to fire it more than once. We're not breaking the game like this. Good thinking though.

>>29360958
>>29361020

> Also, a quick question- would the Aeon Scrander be able to work underwater for propulsion?

"I...ummm." Tyrian fiddles with the keyboard on his gauntlet - Punching in some figures, his head canted to the side. "-Probably. More reliably that your Tempest Scrander: It doesn't rely on an ignition element for propulsion, see? Technically, it could work underwater...Though I've never *seen* that much water in one place."

>>29361065

Tyrian exhales, in a rasping sigh of relief - To his credit, he *almost* hides it, but you can see the tension drain from his shoulders.

"Thank g-" he says, with feeling - Catching himself an instant too late. "I mean - That's good. That's...*really* good." A pause. "...Thinking ahead, I mean. Not - the other thing."

He doesn't quite look you in the eye when he says it, but you can tell he's much happier.

> Then discuss with him the different options for the tachyon reactor- he's suggested the LEUKYOCYTE, but it'd be good to have his input on the pros and cons of the different options, too.

More key presses:

"I'll, uh - I'll need to get back to you on that." Tiny holographic screens hover over Tyrian's gauntlet, streamers of indecipherable code scrolling across the surface. "-I'll have to look at the schematics, first. It might take some time."

Actually, something like that would likely smash up most of the supporting corridors like the ones we're planning to assault through. I suspect they might be stranded until their clear the rubble or unless they have some sort of teleporters but its a big chance.
>>
>>29361269

OP, it's going to be either the Space Cannon or holding off. My vote is to hold off until we get a full picture. Besides, I'm interested in reading TE's take.

> "Now, I want you to take the Reactor and build Leucykote. What do you think of the name 'Side 3'?"

"Wha...*Really*?" Tyrian freezes - Then he nods, vigorously. "-I'll get *right* on it." It's almost disturbing to see how *excited* he is, as he crosses the narrow distance to one of the Hollow Sun's terminals - He's already punching in keys, holographic screens deploying, the Tachyon Reactor tucked under his arm.

"You wouldn't *believe* how fast the assemblers work. The design's already in the records; They must've been considering - Well, something like *this* - for a *long* time."

He releases the Tachyon Reactor: It begins to rotate freely, suspended in place, traceries of light playing across the surface. "-Now there's a power source...A few hours, at most. No longer."

Reflected light shimmers across his steel faceplate, as he hastens to his work: And that's the last you see of Tyrian, as the world flickers around you - The honeyed glow of the Hollow Sun's stasis chamber fading out, to the bleached, uncertain light of the convenience store. Outside, choking clouds of dust shroud the streets in a hazy miasma - The breeze has picked up, but all it's done is to stir the fog, making it roil and churn in uncertain motion.

It's an eerie sensation, wandering through the city like this: Silent, purgatorial, all noise muted and distorted by the low moan of the wind. You can taste grit and dust in your mouth, as the gleaming shape of the Sterling Tower looms out from the fog...

-At this distance, a stark black outline, it's never been more ominous.

(Continued)
>>
>>29361591

As you draw closer, you can't help but notice the changes that've been made: The well-tended bushes - Bordering the building in a band of green - have been dug up, the beds filled with concrete.

Bollards, like rows of blunt teeth, have been hammered into the ground, along every approach: A thirty-meter stretch in every direction has been cleared, hammered flat and empty, before giving way to the overlapping tiers of the steps. You can almost feel the security cameras - Canted at oblique angles - watching your approach, even in the murk - and that's just the ones you *can* see.

Inside, it's a different story. The great glass doors - double-tiered, bearing the fox-head crest - resembles an airlock, air scrubbers labouring with a sucking hiss of effort as they slide open, then shut behind you. The wind doesn't make them rattle in the slightest: That's plate glass.

The automatic security checkpoint bleats once, as you step through - You glimpse the security guard in his overhead booth, regarding a bank of monitors as he keys the checkpoint open: A row of metal bars sliding apart with a decisive *clunk* of mechanisms engaged, then closing behind you, your footfalls echoing on the polished floor.

Maybe, maybe not. Anthills have a visible protrusion, but multiple exit tunnels, not all of which are part of the mound. Any survivors in the immediate area affected by the devastation won't be getting out the back, but most of an ant colony is underground.

>>29361502
Various degrees of paranoia, justified or otherwise. Some genre savviness, and concerns that anything not on our character's person is vulnerable to theft or destruction. Also concerns about whether it'll be useful; it's powerful sure, but the costs match the effect. The tachyon gear has trade-offs, but limited to the equipment's niche.

The place is...It's *quiet*, more so than before, though faint echoes come from the upper floors, the dense feel of activity in the air. Muted, somehow, like the aftermath of a discordant note in the symphony: Out of place, amid the Sterling Tower's industrious order.

"'Anon.'"

The voice is crisp, precise, with the clipped tones of a professional. It's startling, amid the uneasy quiet of the lobby: In a moment of unintentional symbolism, the speaker's standing - dead-center - on the ten-foot wide company logo set in the marble surface of the terrazzo floor.

You take him in at a glance: Business casual, white shirt and dark blue tie, starched collar stiff around his throat. He stands stock-still and ramrod straight, as if at parade rest - He pronounces your name syllable by syllable, as if it's the first time he's saying it. Older than you, and slightly taller, just enough to create a gulf.

-There's something familiar about him.

His polished shoes click against the company logo, as he approaches - Not too quickly, as if cautious. "...You're 'Anon', aren't you?" The silver pin in his lapel catches the light: He looks uncomfortable, rumped and ill-at-east...As if he's just been woken up, his brown eyes ever-so-slightly narrowed.

He doesn't offer his hand to shake.

> [X] "...You're my escort, aren't you?"

Another nod. "Yes." Then - "Please, this way." He gestures, in the direction of the elevators: There's something aloof, cautious, about his posture - The way he carries himself, as if wary of an imminent threat.

> "Funny, I thought you'd be taller. Good to see you made it out. Did you manage to disable the tower?"

He winces. You can't help but feel, somehow, that you've scored a point. A spasm of emotion flits over Aoba's carefully composed face; "-I was...relieved," he admits, sounding pained - It's still a sore spot for him, clearly. "The tower *was* disabled, but...without me."

(Continued)

The admission clearly doesn't come easily to him. The cheery 'ding' of the elevator arriving - The rumble of the doors sliding open - is a welcome break in the conversation, as he steps in, the icon for the 49th floor flashing red.

Aoba presses himself into a corner - His arms folded over his chest - as the elevator begins to ascend. An uncomfortable silence lingers, as the moment stretches: It's going to be a long ride.

As the first few floors blur past, he says:

"-You're not what I expected."

A sidelong glance: "The Red Joker: It *is* you, there's no doubt about that. But - You're just a kid. There's something wrong, there."

Aoba grimaces. "...Then again, nothing's been 'right' for a long time."

He looks at you, and his expression's measuring, almost critical now - "*How* do you do it? Keep it bottled up like that?"

[ ] "Do what?"

>>29362439

Aoba shakes his head, no. "-The usual way." He permits himself a thin-lipped smile. "When all your options are bad, you take the only one that makes sense."

He seems to think that's answer enough: A silence descends, once again, as the low machine hum builds. When the transition comes, Aoba tenses - But then, you've been through this before. The low, machine hum - The optical scanners casting flickering traceries of light, webs of emerald illumination playing over every inch of your crimson form...You've been through it.

It takes you a moment, for your vision to adjust - As great segments of blast plate part overhead, your transport slowing as it rises through the grand structure...But before, where everything was layered silver and ratcheting gears, like the inside of an impossibly complex machine...

There's a shattered gape, in the Bastion's face, blackened and empty. Even from here, you can see the black ghosts of scorchmark - A cavity in the side of the building, revealing raw cables and arcing loops of electricity. Liquid silver oozes from the deep gouges, clotting over the wound: The join of old and new silver is clearly visible, as the breach knits itself closed. The sight of the structure repairing itself is organic, almost sickeningly so - Struggling to rebuild, to mend...

I'm not sure when it's going to be back up: I think that I might most likely be out of commission for the rest of the night. However - As I'm available tomorrow - I'll be able to continue the thread the very next day, on the 09/01/2014.

If the thread's still up, I'll continue from here - If not, I'll start a new thread.)

Thank you for the quest!

also, i just wanted to say, i LOVE how you have a different OP picture each time. Just how big is your joker quest folder, and can I see it?

p.s.: whomevers doing renovations there sucks :( best of luck without power or internet.

Oh good, you're still here. Really quick, how did we afford all the Hollow Sun loot? The total cost of our purchases comes out to 70 energy (Immolator+Void Anchor+Arsenal Beacon+2 LFCs=25+15+20+10=70). We had 58.1 energy. While I'm delighted with the freebies, I'm slightly concerned that we may have upset the karmic balance. Was there an energy increase between the threads?

Also, nice to hear you'll make the attempt to start earlier. I wish you the best of luck in that.

Neat. So placing a Void Anchor will increase the number of dice (or equivalent) you roll, or increase the modifier?
>>
>>29363016

I think it'd increase the modifier.
>>
Damnit people. You didn't tell Triangle about Regios. Plus we actually got the Immolator? Neat. A bit of a waste on us, though. Should have spent that extra Joker Juice on Fusion Cells or upgrades.

I hate that I missed this thread specifically.
>>
>>29366388
We actually got two Fusion cells as well.
>>
>>29366388
>>29366482
Man, the arc gun will be so much fun.
Let's see how much stuff we can cause to explode.
>>
>>29366482

I read that. Was referring to the Tri-Stars. The the Hellion weaponry would assist them immensely as they are melee oriented.
>>
>>29366388
Fusion cells just lower the cost of using Hollow Sun weaponry. That stuff is all weaker than the Immolator, with exceptions for the specific scenarios the weapons were designed for. And even then the Immolator will be a superior weapon.

As for the other point, Tyrian doesn't have to know but Bishamon does.
>>
I have a question for OP for tomorrow:
Can we exchange Fusion Cells if we change our loadout?
>>
>>29366522

The Immolator and Gravity Gun are hands down the best weapons for this shindig. We should hand it off to someone else though. It's a waste in our hands what with us already being a walking armoury. Giving Rooks brother the flamethrower would help him gets kill plus he has a vested interest in keeping Rook alive. So he won't run soon as we hand it too him.
>>
>>29366552

It would still help them. We have a vested inteterest in keeping them alive. Sure it's weaker, but it's also an upgrade. They would not haft to spend meter to use them later in the fight when they could use the Hellion weaponry to build meter instead.

At range.

The only ranged combatant is Regios. Spaghetti-san's head Vulcan don't count.

I'd love to know what RJ looks like currently.

He's got a jetpack and two back-mounted pieces of heavy equipment, as well as three handguns on his body. In addition, there's a cloak and five drones, which are *also* back-mounted.
By all means, we should fall over backwards when we try to stand.
Also, isn't the Carnifex also carried on our body? IIRC it just snaps over our head when it's activated and doesn't materialize out of nowhere because it's a relic and not part of the armor.

Thinking about this reminds me of pic related.

>>29366617
We have an infinite supply of Gravity Guns. Not to mention that those things break down after a few shots. They are pure support weapons.
The ARC gun is perfect because it's multi-kill with consistent fire rate.

The Immolator is too high-grade to just give it away. However, keep that option in mind if the raid is cut down to two or three people - At that point, fire support might be needed.
>>
>>29366537
Well... maybe, maybe not. Range isn't the end-all solution that it is for us ecause of how the damage system works. If the proposed change to how they work goes throuh and Fusion Cells start boosting damage the calculus changes entirely.

>>29366617
Are we capable of giving it away? The Immolator is a primary weapon now.

>>29366666
The HS wepons use booster or equivalent not meter. Dunno what that means for Players without one.
>>
>>29366666
Holy shit Satan's balls of quints.

Anyway, what is the problem here? The trio should be plenty capable of getting themselves some Hollow Sun gear. There has been no indication as to them being incompatible with it.

It does make me wonder: Would we be able to use it without the Cobalt Booster?
Can we use meter as an alternative method of priming?
>>
>>29366713
>The Immolator is a primary weapon now.
Weird, I had the impression that it's also using a holster. But the database entry actually doesn't mention anything about that.
I guess it is armor-bound.
Now I wonder if we can give it away, anyway. It *is* a handgun, after all.
>>
>>29366687

The Gravity Gun only breaks down if it's off our charging elements for an extended period of time. It's not that fragile. Well, until someone cuts it in half. Plus, the gun will also be even deadlier in the tunnels. All we need to do is point and shoot down the tunnel and it will clear the walls in an instant.
>>
>>29366748
>All we need to do is point and shoot down the tunnel and it will clear the walls in an instant.
Now I wonder how the gun reacts when shot at walls and ceilings.
Does it pin you to that surface or is the force always directed at the ground?
>>
>>29366747
One of the tachyon weapons was incapable of dematerializing. Moros I think. Could be what you were thinking of, but that didn't have a holster.

>>29366759
Ground, it was pulling Pretas off the ceiling.
>>
>>29366713

>fusion cell change to increase damage
>large fusion cell upgrade on Gravity Gun

We will never use our Railgun again. Ever.

And unless it explicitly states it is Bind on Pickup, we should be able to trade it off. It is a relic, even if it is a primary.

And we don't know that. We know some of our relics use meter or booster.

>>29366716

They haft to go through us first to get upgrades. We're the caretaker of the place. They have Guest access while we have Admin.

Some of our relics use meter or booster. i don't see why not.
>>
>>29366825
>One of the tachyon weapons was incapable of dematerializing. Moros I think. Could be what you were thinking of, but that didn't have a holster.
Actually, I think both were.

>Due to the superheavy metal of the MOROS's construction, the Relic is nearly impossible to destroy - Notably, it exists as a solid, physical object that cannot be de-manifested. (i.e. It has to be carried in a light weapon slot.)

>Constructed of the same superdense matter as the MOROS, the EOS revolver shares the same material properties.
>>
>>29366849
>We will never use our Railgun again. Ever.
Do you even understand the difference between a support gravity weapon and a railgun sniper?

Speaking of tachyon weaponry, I'm curious if the Tri-Stars will be even able to use the Thor platform. It's bound to our armour, right?

If worse comes to worse, we can recreate an artificial crater similar to the one in Australia.... that generator has got to pack one hell of a bunch.
>>
>>29366934

The Railgun is an anti-armour weapon that supercavitates on organics. It's deadly against everything. The downside it takes forever to get to.

The Gravity Gun, while extremely deadly against organics, has difficulties against armoured opponents. Damage upgrade would help it immensely and assist in in crushing armoured foes.

Railgun for point blank annihilation. Gravity Gun for wide swaths of destruction.
>>
>>29367005
>Railgun for point blank annihilation.
You mean Plasma Caster.
The Railgun is that weapon that has extremely low rate of fire and gets a damage bonus if it's used at long range.
>>
>>29367022

I do mean the railgun. The shell the thing fires causes point-blank annihilation. It destroys whatever it hits. But it's only a single shot.

The Gravity Gun is an area of effect attack that, with the damage upgrade, be capable of CRUSHING armour. It'd cause more damage than our railgun as instead of being a focused shot, it'd be a wide-area attack with anti-armour properties.

This is all speculation of course.
>>
>>29367100
>The Gravity Gun is an area of effect attack that, with the damage upgrade, be capable of CRUSHING armour. It'd cause more damage than our railgun as instead of being a focused shot, it'd be a wide-area attack with anti-armour properties.
Thing is, how useful will it be against correctors ? It's AoE, but most Correctors don't have that much armor, and then there's the risk of friendly fire.

I agree, though, that crushing armr would be very nice against players.
>>
>>29367251
It's useful against Correctors because it slows them down.
I don't know what the fuck this guy is saying about crushing armor. That's not what this gun is for.
It can crush armor, sure, but that's incidental to fighting cannon fodder.
>>
>>29367339

>i don't know what the fuck this guy is saying

What I'm harping on about is that the Gravity Gun will have comparable damage to the railgun over a wide swath of ground instead of a focused point shot against a single target. It'd be capable of crushing the more heavily armoured players instead of inconveniencing them by knocking them down.

Once more, this is speculation.
>>
>>29366921
Oh damn, I never read it that way. One of the reasons I prefered Eos was the thought of not losing it.

>>29366942
Them having space cannon access could be cool. We'll have to see.

>>29367100
The other Anon is right actually. The railgun is nowhere near as powerful close ramge as far. At a distance it could obliterate what it hits, closeby it doesn't have the velocity.

Also, the fusion cells are NOT a power boost, that was something under consideration a month ago. Right now cells are a cost reducer.
>>
Might be nice if we and Argent find a way to un-Player people, severing their connection with the Red World so they'll be safe when that whole dimension comes crashing down.
>>
>>29367450
>Once more, this is speculation.
I don't have words for my thoughts on this kind of speculation.
That's like troll physics for game mechanics.
>>
>>29367481
>Also, the fusion cells are NOT a power boost, that was something under consideration a month ago. Right now cells are a cost reducer.

The most important thing that power cells do is preserve cobalt booster for more important things.

Anyway, kotone/black joker mentinoed that one of the black tristars would die within the week in our dreams.

We should DEFINITELY warn them, and give them satellite access
>>
>>29367530
Doubt it. He would probably be more busy trying to harvest the remains of the Red for his own Lawful Neutral purposes.
Honestly, while Argent seems like a nice person, he seems to have keikakus on keikakus on keikakus in the background and we're fucking them up all the time. i still don't fully trust him.
>>
>>29367530
What if the whole 'Red/Real crossing' prophecy is completed? It'd sure suck for those guys to be stuck without access to their avatar forms.

On the other hand, everyone would probably assume it was Red Joker's keikaku all along.
>>
Red Joker anime/manga series when?
>>
>>29368172
The fusion cell change was going to come about because the Booster cost would be removed. Didn't happen, but maybe those weaponry upgrades...

>>29368479
I call Argent the head of this story's Law faction for a reason. He is trustworthy in what he tells us, but he has other plans and contingencies that we won't be privy to.
>>
>>29368875
I would watch the shit out of that.
>>
>>29368875
Red Joker Vidya when?
>>
>>29368875
I know, right?

If there was one quest on /tg/ that would most fit a videogame or anime adaption, it's Joker Quest. Flat out. I'm not saying that JQ has higher quality than other quests, just that it's most suited for those two mediums.
>>
>>29369006
Level ups, optional flying, advanced melee combat, third/first person shooting, DRONES, destructible environments, sick transformation scenes and optional hot anime girl love interests.

Did I miss anything?
>>
>>29369006
I actually brainstormed something like that with a friend.
An MMO, with an EVE-like design philosophy. All character designs would be procedurally generated and the entire game would be a free for all.
All avatars would have limited space for fitting relics and the like and the algorithms would ensure that equipped relics align with the avatar's style.
The idea would be to avoid creating content directly and instead let the algorithms do their work.

Red Joker would be an event character that sometimes crops up. It would be the only character without fitting limits, but you'd first need to kill him to get that armor. If you manage to become the Red Joker, you get to talk with the devs about the kind of avatar you'd want to have (Just like old Joker was different from the current one).
>>
>>29369101
>limited space for fitting relics
The Thief had relics coming out of his ass.
>>
>>29369089
Skill-based gameplay with an in-depth simulation to allow for lots of emergent gameplay and creative application of mechanics.
And not to mention Spore-like character creation.
>>
>>29369131
Maybe he pumped his upgrade points into reactor upgrades.
The point of fitting limits would be to create a soft power limit due to having a multiplayer game.
>>
>>29369089
Fuckhuge environments which are already naturally inclined to being computer generated

Tons of projectiles.

There's no question it'd be a first/third person shooter at it's core, but it'd have a ton of RPG and adventure elements, and even some intrigue.

>>29369101
An MMO would be fine too.
>>
>>29369160
I was guessing he just didn't upgrade any of his relics like we did.
>>
>>29369131
He probably dumped all his stats into relic capacity.
>>
>>29369089
Someone on qtg had a vidya adaption that I liked. Time management game with an overworld city map mixed with Armored Core battles. You dodn't play as the Joker either, but as a Kazuya equivalent.
>>
>>29369232
I think there would be a bit more close combat fighting than AC but that sounds good.
>>
>>29369101
>Red Joker is equivalent to a raid boss
>He's also an actual player character

I'd play the shit out of it, but I feel like the greater story would go untold and key parts of the setting would need to be altered.
>>
>>29369182
>There's no question it'd be a first/third person shooter at it's core, but it'd have a ton of RPG and adventure elements, and even some intrigue.
It really depends on the player avatar.
You might have melee รก la Devil May Cry or Bayonetta or maybe something like Vanquish.
The combat should definitely be made by Platinum Games.
>>
>>29369232

Honestly, I'd enjoy it if it was more along the lines of a Sengoku Rance style VN. With less rape and more of the Total War overworld troop management. Would be fun as fuck. There's enough intrigue here.

>>29369265

>not building an AC with moonlight blades

>>
>>29369006
When OP or somebody with OP's permission pitches it to game companies. A novel or LN that gets popular might aslo do the trick. Same for a card game. You have to start somewhere
>>
>>29368841
The crossing might make Players more identifiable in the real world. Smilers and Correctors might pick off Players first
>>
>>29369466
I feel like the melee combat would function in much the same was as the ranged, because it would all be dynamic and hitbox based.
>>
>>29369616
Baseless speculation
>>

At this point, I'd be ecstatic if the OP could run on Non-Moonland time. Being American is suffering. I've missed so many threads of this and MGN just because they run at the crack of dawn for me. Which is when I haft to work..
>>
>>29368479
>Argent is Lawful Neutral
> i still don't fully trust him.
Both statements seem reasonable.

The keikaku on keikaku plans might be necessary just to be able to beat the Smilers
>>
>>29369565
>. A novel or LN that gets popular might aslo do the trick.
That's entirely the wrong medium, though.
Joker Quest adapation would profit extremely from a visual medium.

Imagine a Hollywood movie adaption. A bit like Iron Man, but a lot more cynical.

>>29369668
As someone who can't follow mosts quests because I'm on GMT, I'm glad that JQ is a moon person.

I just want the guys who did Redline to do this.

>>29369858
We were talking about arming people with hollow sun weaponry for this.

I'd say Rocket Launchers. Their cost of use is low - 30% for 6 rockets, so like 5%. And one shot kills on correctors should own.

Or a mix of the two.

maybe the snare lines and gravguns.

I still remember when /a/ found out he was writing for Madoka and Gen downplaying his role saying he was actually writing a happy script for a change.
