When you spot her she's running towards the school gates the crowds are thinner there so you manage to gain some ground but still hang back enough and wait for somewhere its appropriate to talk, somewhere with almost no people.

Despite you not bothering to hide she doesn't even care to look back and is focusing entirely on the path ahead of her. She slowly comes to stop and begins crying loudly while leaning against a residential wall. You slowly step forward and she then turns in your direction, her eyes widening in surprise. She takes a step back, "Get away from me!" She cries out, she's lost all of her composure from a few minutes ago. Her eyes are red and there's still wet tears on her cheeks. She looks like she's ready to start running at any moment.

You gulp, you've never done this before but Misa feels betrayed by you and you alone, she somehow trusted you enough to feel betrayed by not recovering her memory crystal instead of letting Aomi be born...you did tell Momoko you did it because you really wanted a little sister after all.

You look at her, Misa has been crying hard for a while and she said it was your fault. You bite your lip as you consider saying the words you'd never thought you would say to anyone.

After some struggling you manage to squeeze out an "I'm sorry."
