"Oh?" Celestino replies. "it really is a small world..."
"You both look really nice," Citrine says, smiling.
"You're too kind," Rana giggles.
"Yeah... thanks," Reya replies, an embarrassed smile on his face.

"Anyways, I hired these two to help lessen the load on the guards," Celestino says. "And since they're also technically guests, they'll be able to move around among the party guests without causing much of a ruckus."
"Pretty smart," Marius says as he adjusts the canvas ever so slightly.
"It shouldn't be necessary, considering who else is attending... but I wanted to have a bit of extra insurance just in case someone tries to make off with your painting or something similarly foolish."

After nodding to a few guards, the King turns to Rana and Reya.

"You two should be fine for now, as the parry itself doesn't start for over an hour. Feel free to eat and relax for now," Celestino says.
"Thank you, Your Majesty," Rana replies with a proper bow.
"And after this whole thing's over, I'll be sure to brag to your old man about how well you guys did," he winks.
"Er... thank you," Reya says with a nervous laugh.

"And Reinhold? I'll let you go now, since I don't want to make Gregory mad at me for keeping you back here for any longer than I already have," Celestino says to you.

Before heading back through the doorway, you turn towards Rana and Reya.

"Uh... I'm going to go see if my friends are done getting food, you wanna come along?" you ask.
"Food?" Rana says, her eyes sparkling. "We were actually so busy getting ready this morning, I wasn't able to have breakfast..."
"Remember where we are, Rana..." Reya says, sighing.
"ANYWAYS, we'd love to join you!"

With that out of the way, the three of you head into the main hall. You start towards the food table... until you notice that Marianne and the others are already sitting about a table over from where Karel and Emilio are.

"Looks like you got left," Rana laughs. "You and Reya can go on over, I'm going to prepare a plate for myself."
"Get something for me too," Reya says as he follows you over to where the others are sitting.

"How nice of you to once again grace us with your presence," Sir Gregory says as you approach the table. "Where the hell did you go, anyways?"
"Er... King Celestino called me over..." you say with a nervous smile. You're not sure if Sir Gregory's pissed at you, but it's probably best not to push it.
"...oh." he mumbles. "Consider yourself off the hook, then."

He then turns to Reya, who's just kind of standing off to the side.

"And who's your friend here?" Sir Gregory asks.
"Umm... hello. My name is Reyasarima, and I was hired by the King as security for the party," Reya says with a deep bow. "It's nice to meet you."
"Hm. From the name, I take it you're a dragon?"
"Half, sir."
"I see."

You should probably introduce the others, considering that you were the one who brought Reya over here... So naturally, you do so. And with every name you say, Reya's eyes grow wider and wider.

"Ho... holy crap..." Reya says, completely stunned. "...you never told me that you knew the Red Haze..."
"I see that my reputation precedes me... again," Sir Gregory says, sighing. "Don't worry, I'm nowhere as horrible as everyone makes me out to be."
"And Nicolette's your daughter...? Oh god, I was hanging out with SIR GREGORY'S daughter all yesterday..."

And just as Reya's starting to calm down, his sister shows up at the table with a plate in either hand.

"Sorry for the wait!" Rana chirps. "Ehehe... Nico's the only one here that I recognize, so I suppose I should introduce myself... I'm Ranasarima, this guy's big sister!"
"Sorry, she's just really happy that she gets to eat her fill before the party," Reya says, sighing.

You then introduce everyone else a second time... much unlike her brother, Rana doesn't seem to be fazed at all.

"Nice to meet you all... but my stomach's starting to get angry with me so I think I'll sit down and eat now," Rana says as she walks over to an adjacent table. "Here's your plate," she says to her brother as she places it down next to her own seat.

"Umm... Reinhold?" Sylvie says, waving you over to where she is. "I got a plate for you, too if you want."
"Cool, thanks," you say as you make your way over to the seat next to Sylvie and plop down...

...and then you realize that Luciana's on the other side.

Tonight's threads were (mostly) fun, and I also enjoyed dumping a bit more setting details that are overall unimportant to anything really.
