Archival set out to write a separate story in-universe that will tie in later, whereas the Wendy stuff was intended to be somewhat integrated into the story more or less from the start.It's good to know there are people that do prefer the writeups be relevant, though, as the last couple of threads have had angry comments about keeping them the hell out of the main story.
