>>28843867Any way we can keep our presence secret until the handover? That way we can cheerfully inform him that the agreement doesn't cover us.
As the three of you approach the area of operations, you can't help but feel the tension in the air. You and Garrod were so close to getting Tiffa back. One wrong move, and things could go south VERY quickly. The plan was risky, sure, but the determination on Garrod's expression when he had suggested it sold both you and Pala on the idea. Witz and Roybea offered to come along as backup, but Garrod assured the both of them that there would be no need. You just hoped that he was right.Once you and Garrod reached the designated location, Pala went ahead into the area occupied by the SRA in order to draw their attention. It fell on you to send the message to Seidel Rasso himself via a voice to text message. You take a deep breath, and begin."Attention SRA forces... We request that you return the individual known as Tiffa Adil to our custody. We carry with us mobile suits armed with Satellite Cannons, and failure to meet our demands will result in the destruction of your Colony Laser. You have five minutes to give us a response."Satisfied with how the message turned out onscreen, and spotting no errors in spelling, you send the message, and await a response while both yours and Garrod's Gundams gathered microwave energy.>Have Garrod fire a warning shot. Five minutes passed. Then another five seconds... ten seconds... thirty seconds...Finally, an answer arrived."We shall honor your request on the condition that you turn yourself and your mobile suits over into our custody. If you do that, Miss Adil's safety is guaranteed."Oh HELL no. They would not play this game with you. You look to Garrod's Double X, its solar panels shining with microwave energy, and give him the signal. You watch as he flies off, and within a minute, a brilliant white flash erupts from far off, no doubt in your mind that Garrod gave them a reason to listen. You watch as the column of energy grazes the Colony laser, and the occasional flicker of light that were mobile suits flying about erratically. With Pala remaining undetected by the enemy, you figured that you would use her to relay your message for you. That would hopefully keep them from getting a lock on your location and sending enemy forces to intercept you."That was just a warning shot. The next one will not miss. Now, adhere to our demands, and return Tiffa Adil to our custody, or face destruction. You have one minute to respond, or else."It was a widely known fact that it took time for a standard model GX-9900 Mobile Suit to recharge for another shot from its Satellite Cannon. The Double X, being the latest model MS from the New UNE, worked to eliminate this flaw, shortening the time needed between shots to a fraction of the time. Of course, the SRA didn't exactly know that last bit...You smile, and wait. The moment one and a half minutes passed, Garrod fired again, and you watched as the pillar of light swept across the area, destroying a good number of the firing mirrors that had been set up."It seems you underestimate our capabilities. The clock is ticking. Send a shuttle with Tiffa aboard to the following coordinates, where an associate will rendezvous with the shuttle and extract her. No mobile suits are to accompany the shuttle, or else your colony laser will be destroyed."It's not even a minute later when you receive another message."Understood."You sigh. That was that, then. You watched and waited, and when you saw the shuttle sans an accompaniment of Croudas, you smirked. Seems they learned their lesson. Don't fuck with the Sandshark.(Cont'd.)
You watch as the Shuttle leaves, and the G-Falcon heading towards Garrod's position confirms that everything had gone according to plan. You meet Pala there, and watch as Garrod and Tiffa finally reunite, spinning around as they embraced. It was a long road to get here, but the both of you reached your goal; Tiffa was safe and sound, and most importantly, with friends. You watch as the G Falcon and DX combine into some sort of high-speed Cruiser Mode, but they seem to be waiting on you for further instructions.>Return to base; you have what you came for.>Destroy the Colony Laser. You decide to hail the SRA's fleet, and speak with Seidel Rasso yourself."Thank you for your cooperation. My associate's Gundam will not destroy your Colony Laser." you say. "However, my Gundam is another matter entirely."You watch as Seidel Rasso's expression as recognition flashes across his wrinkled face, which then contorts into a mask of pure rage.>"You...! Just what the hell do you think you're doing?!""This." you reply, pulling the trigger, and firing the Hyper Satellite Cannon. You watch as the Colony Laser detonates in a spectacular explosion, accompanied by the explosions of ships and mobile suits unfortunate enough to be caught within the explosion's radius, setting off a chain of explosions that you estimate wiped out a good chunk of their forces. With that loose end taken care of, you join Tiffa, Garrod and Pala, and make sure your MS has a firm grip upon the G-Falcon before the four of you escape the area. It's going to a few hours before your group enters Satelicon airspace, what now?>Talk with Tiffa; ask if she was mistreated in any way during her capture.>Have a private chat with Pala; Get her take on the whole situation.>Talk with Garrod; the kid must be on cloud nine now that Tiffa's safe.>Write in

You decide to open up a line to Garrod, though he wasn't exactly the person you wanted to speak with."Tiffa?" you say, waiting until she got in front of Garrod, or at least in the same frame as he was.>"Yes, David?" she replies, smiling."It's good to have you back." you say, earning a nod of agreement from Garrod. "Sorry we took so long. Did they do anything to you? Anything at all?"She shakes her head, and you can seen her gripping Garrod's hand, but not too tightly.>"They took good care of me, but I'm glad to finally be out of there. Seidel Rasso... That man is truly wicked." she says, frowning slightly. "He is after something called D.O.M.E on the moon. Whatever D.O.M.E is, this man would do anything to get to it.""D.O.M.E, huh?" you say, furrowing your brow."Hey Pala, do you know anything about something called 'D.O.M.E'? Apparently, the SRA is after it, and it's located on the moon." you ask, opening another line to Pala.>"Not a clue. But if they're looking for it, then it's gotta be something important." she muses."Yeah, no doubt." you say. "If they're looking for it, then I think we should too. Can't let whatever D.O.M.E is fall into the wrong hands, after all."You're met with a chorus of agreement from the others, another goal added to the ESTO's agenda.Find and prevent D.O.M.E from falling into the wrong hands.>I'm gonna have to call it for tonight, folks. >>28846837Alright, one part of the job taken care off. Let's regroup with Satellicon and the rest of the crew and see if they have any clues what to do next.
>>28852470We also need to get a report from ESTO forces down on Earth, in case the NUNE did something suspicious. And prepare in case the SRA launches another attack on us considering how we blew up their Colony Laser.
>>28853979And get reinforcements from earth. I wonder what types of space ships the ESTO builds?
>>28857180Well, in Gundam there are a few different ship types, the names of which I'm making up on the spot.Secondary Combatants: Small ships that are produced in large numbers. The mooks of ship combat, these will be the most numerous ships in your fleet.Destroyer: An escort/patrol vessel with proportionately heavy firepower but little to no onboard MS capacity.Examples: Salamis (UC), Drake (SEED), Kignus, BartokCruiser: An escort/patrol that retains significant firepower but has onboard MS capacity.Examples: Salamis Kai (UC), Clop class (UC), Musai (UC), Laurasia (SEED)Pocket Carrier: An escort/patrol Ship that has little to no firepower but a large MS capacityExamples: Actually, I don't think anyone has tried this.Main Combatants: Large combatants that are still built in significant numbers.Dreadnaught: A mainline warship with heavy firepower but no onboard MS capacity. I personally like these guys, but honestly they tend to suck.Examples: Magellan(UC), Brimingham(UC), Chivvay(UC), Nelson (SEED)Battle Cruiser: A ship carrying both significant firepower and a heavy mobile suite complement.Examples: Alexandria (UC), Irish (UC), Varona, Astrarza, AoyagiFleet Carrier: A large warship with minimal to no weaponry that carriers an unbelievable amount of mobile suits for its size and price. However it is poorly armored and any mobile suit that manages to reach it can destroy it rather easily.Examples: Antietam (UC), Agamemnon (SEED)
>>28859033Special warships: Produced in limited numbers, if not singletons these ships are expensive, highly capable and frequently become icons of their respective factions.Flagship: As ships these tend to be expensive, capable and almost as large as Dozel Zabi. Combines heavy firepower and large MS capacity.Examples: Gwazine (UC), Dogosse Giar (UC), Garbera, Freedin II, AmaneselAssault Carrier: Remember White Base? Good for you. Okay fine, suited for independence deployment, these ships have large supply space, experimental technology, and are capable of operating in the atmosphere. Otherwise similar to a battle carrier in design. Tend to carry GundamsExamples: Every white base clone, Silver HorizonSuperheavy Carrier: Large Warships capable of Carrying literally hundreds of Mobile suits. Really, Really slow.Examples: Dolos (UC), Godwana (SEED)Now, since the Freeden II is inevitably going to become our flagship, the only choice we really have is the design of our Secondary Combatants and Main Combatants. Lets start by admitting that dreadnaughts suck and nobody's going to vote for them. Next lets look at what our enemies have. Both the NUNE and SRA utilize a Battle-cruiser/Destroyer system, which seemed to work decently well when they are shooting at each other, but is actually rather unusual in Gundam. In universal century, The Federation initially tried a destroyer/dreadnaught system, which sucked horribly (though less so once they had mobile suits and started strapping them on stuff) while Zeon tried a little bit of everything, which blew up in their faces when they didn't have enough of anything. Later both sides seem to have settled into a cruiser/battle-cruiser system, which has the advantage of maximum flexibility, since each ship is at least partially able to take care of itself though you lose out on the advantages of specialization. Personally, I want to try Destroyer(or cruiser)/Fleet Carrier because I think that would be more fun. Thoughts?
>>28859533We need to take into consideration our strengths and weaknesses. So far, we only have the Silver Horizon available as far as we know, with the Frieden II probably being in the works. Both the NUNE and the SRA outnumber us, and in the later case, outtech us. On the other hand, we have the largest numbers of Gundams and Gundam-based suits, which currently gives us the edge in conflict. That, their adaptability, and the fact that we know where to hit with our small numbers. If we are going to engage either of these guys, we need fast ships capable of deploying our suits and maybe delivering some vicious damage on their asses. Fleet Carriers would be easy targets, and in case one of them blows up we'll end up with our greatest assets being lost in space. So let's not fix what isn't broken - let's go with the Cruiser / Battle Cruiser system for now.We could use the Destroyer / Fleet Carrier (or Battle Cruiser) combo for some surgical strikes, though.
>>28860100How does the SRA out tech us again? Judging from the last battle the Peregrine is the most capable mass produced mobile suit in space.
>>28860100Er, they don't seem to horribly out tech us and we weren't exactly outnumbered that heavily in the last battle.
>>28860163Better beam weapons and improved armor for their suits, along with having proper training on how to fight in space. And those photon bombs they wanted to use to blow everything up. We managed to blow most of them apart by discovering their weakness (that exhaust port / thruster thing in the front).>>28860228Mostly because they came prepared for Satellicon. They didn't expect us to drop in with several Gundams and new suits.
>>28859033>Pocket Carrier: An escort/patrol Ship that has little to no firepower but a large MS capacityLeo Mothership. Then again, they could convert MS hangers to megaparticle cannons every resupply, so...
>>28860389The Peregrine still lost 0 suits in the last battle. Seems to me its at least as good as the decimated Crouda's. Also, the Agamemnon's performed quite well once they used mobile suits instead of horribly outclassed Moebius's. They would probably perform quite well in fleet actions. Don't forget that they remained basically unchanged and still capable even at the end of the second war.
>>28861986Fair enough. Maybe I'm just being too paranoid about what our enemies are capable of. You know the drill - hope for the best, prepare for the worst. We have Lancecrow in our custody, we should interrogate him about what SRA's backup plan is in case their Colony Laser gets destroyed. Or if he has any ideas what DOME is.
>>28862228Yeah. I'm not saying a Destroyer/Carrier design doesn't have weaknesses, because it does. It's main weakness isn't the Fragility of its carriers (all ships are pretty fragile) its lack of tactical flexibility. Essentially, the Carrier is designed to provide mobile suit support to the destroyers, who in return help escort and protect it as an interlocking unit. In particular, single ship deployments get rather tricky, since sending in a single destroyer without MS cover is always a terrible idea. In return however you can field a LOT of mobile suits relatively cheaply. Essentially, specialization gives us the edge in fleet battles at a price in skirmishes. This can be mitigated by going to a Cruiser/Carrier design, especially if you chose a cruiser like the Salamis Kai that shades more towards the destroyer end of the spectrum. Oh and have some MS capacity numbers:Destroyer: 0 (Duh)Cruiser: 4-6 (Salamis Kai 4, Musai 5, Clop 6)Pocket carrier: 12 (Leo mothership)Dreadnaught: 0Battle-cruiser: 10 (Alexandria, Nahel Argrima)Fleet Carrier: 18? (Taking the high end of cruiser, comparing to Battle-Cruiser and scaling up the Leo proportionately.)So if you assume a standard task group contains 1 main combatant and two secondary combatants our options are as follows:Big Gun Fleet:Drake and NelsonGuns: Lots and Lots MS: 0 Chance of victory: Snowball in hellCopy Cat Fleet:Drake and AlexandriaGuns: Lots MS: 10 Chance of victory: Mirror matchGeneralist fleet:Salamis Kai and AlexandriaGuns: Some MS: 18 Chance of victory: tried and testedCarrier Battle GroupDrake and AgamemnonGuns: Some MS: 18 Chance of Victory: I like this oneHeavy Carrier Battle Group:Salmis Kai and AgamemnonGuns: few MS: 26 Chance of Victory: ...that's a lot of mobile suits
>>28863382I'd include the others, but honestly I think our only realistic options are Mirror Match, Generalist, CBG and HCBG. A Leo Carrier is just too fragile and nobody's going to vote for a dreadnaught. Oh and in case people want to know what a fleet would look like, Just stick two task groups together and add on either the Silver horizon, Varona, or Freedin II for a total of seven ships. The total navy would either consist of three fleets each headed by a flagship, or two fleets headed by the Freedin 2, for a total of 15-21 ships.
>>28863382Well, if we have time (I'm guessing we do, considering how ESTO's keeping the NUNE occupied down on Earth and we just blew up the Colony Laser) we could maybe make a package for the Crusader that'd let it operate in space based on the Peregrine and the Crouda. We could even apply the same principle to our ships - have one base ship with swappable weapons on it. We could specialize our destroyers and other ships on either taking down MS or enemy ships.
>>28863505A modular ship design is a terrible idea. It would take much longer to refit and honestly wouldn't offer us much since we won't be building very many ships in the first place. Also, our crusader is space capable, it just took 80% casualties in the previous engagement.
Alright folks, I'm back. Sit tight while I write up a post.
You and the others return to Satelicon with no trouble whatsoever. With the Colony Laser destroyed, one of Satelicon's short term goals have been completed, and the Earth is safe from a literal example of death from above.Tiffa tells the others of what she's learned, and you suggest that locating D.O.M.E be made a top priority for both the ESTO and Satelicon. However, there was still the problem of the New UNE forces back on Earth. Apparently, they had been fielding a newer variant of the Rasveht. The Rasveht was a Bit MS-using mobile suit the Freeden Crew had encountered during the Asia campaign against the New UNE. This either meant that the New UNE had managed to draft more Newtypes into their forces, or they had managed to create a Bit MS that didn't need a Newtype to operate it. Either possibility was not exactly pleasant.Fortunately, the ESTO's forces hadn't been sitting idly by, and produced a new variant of the Crusader that boasted a higher generator output and reinforced joints made with a Luna-Titanium and Ceramic Composite alloy, that while it wasn't quite as strong as the stuff on a Gundam, was far sturdier than the armor on a Daughtress, as well as developing a backpack that could be mounted onto both the new and old Crusaders, granting them atmospheric flight capability and adding underslung beam launchers to their arsenal. Refits of the old Crusaders were being carried out as well, to modify as many of them as possible into the new variant, saving both time, money, and resources. Not only that, but they had managed to begin development on a small number of new, single-catapult spaceships based on the Silver Horizon, a new line of ships dubbed the "Hercules-Class", capable of holding a maximum of twelve mobile suits aboard its hangar, and is planned to be armed with Anti-Air cannons, Double-Barreled Beam Cannons, and 3-tube missile launchers mounted on both sides of the ship.(Cont'd.)

>>28866259The ESTO is basically fighting both the SRA and NUNE.Right now, a small portion of their forces (You and the Silver Horizon) is up in space, assisting Satelicon, so it's more or less like this:ESTO + Satelicon vs. SRAandESTO vs. New UNE
>>28866349Do we have one of those satellite bits around? Could we leave one with Satelicon to be turned into a proper suit so they have something as their trump card in case SRA attacks them?
>>28866432No you do not. The Silver Horizon came into space without your GX Bits or the Bit Gundam X.
Seems to me that we should leave at least some of our pilots behind. After all, the SRA still has a few aces left.

You decide that Satelicon can handle searching for D.O.M.E while you help sort things out on Earth. You arrange for a contingent of the new Crusader variants and a handful of Gundams be sent to Satelicon, as well as a crew of engineers and new equipment. They managed to put up with you and Garrod for so long, so you figured it was only fair you give them something for their troubles. And by that, you mean giving them the facilities and equipment necessary to manufacture equipment that can put them on par with the SRA.You're cool like that.As preparations for the Silver Horizon to depart near completion, you're approached by both Roiza and Pala, the former of whom asks you to take Pala with you, as sort of a liason for Satelicon, citing that the G-Falcon can prove to be a valuable asset in battle, as it can combine with both the Leopard Destroy and Airmaster Burst. With both you and Kid, as well as Kauto, not to mention a handful of engineers working on your project, it takes the entire week to finish the Full Armor Option Mark II. With the way it was designed, it would provide protection when needed, and the armor protecting the cockpit block could shift, allowing the microwave receiver to function without having to purge the armor. Not only could the Hyper-Spec still use its shoulder mounted gatling cannons, a beam spray gun had been affixed to each forearm, allowing for short range suppressive fire. In addition, the leg armor mounted missile launchers that boasted a higher explosive force than the Hyper-Spec's standard leg mounted missiles. With the Luna Titanium Ceramic Composite Armor replacing the Chobham Armor of the Mark I, this offered the Hyper-Spec roughly the same amount of protection with much less stress on the MS itself, allowing it to move without the aid of hover jets under gravity. In addition, the armor has a higher tolerance against heat than standard Luna Titanium. All in all, you outdid yourself. You briefly wondered when you would get to take the new Full Armor Hyper-Spec out for a test run, and found your questions answered when alarms began blaring and confirmation that enemy forces were attacking the ship. Of course, what you weren't prepared for, was just which enemy forces you were facing. You launch in your Gundam, with Garrod and Pala close behind, the G-Falcon and Double X having combined shortly afterwards. You grunt as you feel a tugging sensation; no doubt the Earth's gravitational pull; these bastards had caught you in the middle of atmospheric entry preparations, so there was little time to spare!>Rounds until Atmospheric Entry: 5You have everyone scatter, and protect the Silver Horizon while it descends, while you focus your attention on the Rasveht Mk.IIs. If this was anything like Garrod's encounter with the original, not all of them were piloted. You fire a volley of leg missiles at a nearby Rashveht, and to your disappointment, its destruction failed to cause the other ones to cease moving.Although you were having difficulty moving as you could feel the Hyper-Spec being pull downward, it seemed as though the others were having more difficulty. Although they managed to at least keep the enemy's Daughtress Neos from getting to the Silver Horizon. However, Kai suffered a nasty hit that sent him spiralling downwards. Fortunately, he rights himself before he falls too far into Earth's gravity well.>"I need to pull back; I don't know how long I'll last like this. Sorry, everyone...""It's okay, Kai. No harm done Just head back and we'll cover you." you reply.>Allies: Silver Horizon, Garrod & Pala (Double X + G-Falcon), Ennil (Esperansa II), Witz (Airmaster Burst), Roybea (Leopard Destroy), Shagia (Virsago), Olba (Ashtaron)>Enemies: 3x Bartolk-class, 1x ??? Taking aim with your beam rifle, you fire, the shot piercing straight through the cockpit, watching as the Rasveht Bits went limp, their arms and legs flapping about as they were subjected to the terrible mistress that was gravity. Garrod, meanwhile, launched a volley of missiles, destroying about five Daughtress Neos upon detonation, and Olba managed to destroy a trio that had wandered too close to Shagia for his liking.Although Ennil and Shagia were having trouble getting a bead on the enemy mobile suits as they descended, Witz was having trouble avoiding enemy gunfire, at least until Roybea's intervention. Not wanting to risk burning up in the atmopshere, as the Airmaster Burst wasn't built for atmospheric re-entry like the Avengers, Witz returned to the safety of the Silver Horizon.>"I don't like doing this, but I gotta leave things to you guys!" says Witz over the radio. Okay, we need to check on Ennil when we land. And find out more about the NUNE developing those bits.
Bump.
>>28902555Maybe if we steal some of their Bits, we can make more of our own. We need to keep as much of a tech edge as we can against the NUNE's numbers advantage.
>>28906852Do they have a numbers advantage at this point? I mean, sure we were outnumbered in that last fight, but that's because they had to have known that sending equal forces against an Assault Carrier is incredibly stupid. The odds for line units is probably different.
Alright folks, hang tight while I whip up a post...>Writing!
It has only been about a day since the Silver Horizon and her crew safely arrived to Earth's surface. Although Ennil was in no danger, she wasn't allowed any visitors, until today, at least. With the engineers busying themselves replacing the warped armor plating of your Hyper-Spec that was not protected by your Full Armor Parts, as well as repairing the Esperansa II, you'd be a nuisance if you decided to stick around in the hangar to build some new piece of equipment or weapon. That being said, the more hands working to help with repairs, the better, considering Garrod and Pala were assisting the Silver Horizon's engineers. The entire ship was still on full alert, considering that until they reached the Asian border, they were in hostile territory, and being stuck in the vast desert that was the majority of the African continent was not an ideal situation. Fortunately, there was an ESTO outpost not far from the SIlver Horizon's position, and it would take a trip of three days to reach it. There, the ship's food and water stores could be replenished, and spare parts loaded aboard. In addition, there is a city to the northwest, dubbed "El Dar Samnia" by the locals, and is home to many an aspiring Archaeologist and historian. An Anti-NUNE resistance group that specializes in guerilla tactics is rumored to be based here. Investigations into their whereabouts have been conducted by both the ESTO and New UNE, but unfortunately, no results have turned up...As one of the two top authorities aboard the Silver Horizon, it fell to you and Jamil to decide where you should go, although Jamil had deferred to you on the final decision.>Go to the ESTO outpost.>Go to El Dar Samnia.>Wait here at the current location until repairs are complete.>Write in

You decide that heading to the ESTO outpost takes priority; El Dar Samnia can wait for now, at least. The route to the outpost is fairly straightforward, as there's nothing but sand for miles. That being said, traveling for three days in this heat is going to -suck-.What will you do for now, Dave?>Go see how Ennil's holding up; she can have visitors today, if you recall...>Check on Pala; this is her first time on Earth, and you doubt she's adjusting well to all this heat.>Check in with your contacts; ask if they've uncovered anything regarding the NUNE's Remote Weapons development, to confirm if they've managed to find more Newtypes or create a remote weapon that can be used by Oldtypes.>Write in

You find your way into the medical bay, and located the room Ennil was moved to after she had been patched up."Hey." you say, opening up the door. "How are you feeling?"Ennil sets down a book she'd been reading, and turns towards you, smiling."I've been better, but I never did thank you for literally keeping my ass from getting fried, did I?" she responds."Hey, like I'd just stand around like an idiot and let the girl of my dreams turn extra crispy." you say, smirking. "Besides, there's better ways to get a tan. Like tanning, for one."Ennil's response to your smartass comment is a pillow to the face, followed by the both of you breaking out in a fit of laughter. Once the both of you manage to calm down enough to the point where it's possible for the both of you to breathe, Ennil speaks up."I was scared." she says. "Not because I was falling, but... well okay, maybe that was part of it, but... I thought that it was all over for me. I'd never get to see you and the others again... I was scared that I'd never hear one of your corny jokes, or feel your arms wrapped around me... But then you came to save me, like you always do."You look at Ennil, and sigh. You give her a smile, and squeeze her hand gently as you sit down on the bed, right next to her."I was scared too." you admit. "As crazy as our relationship has been... would you call what we have a relationship? Eh, anyway... as crazy as things have been between us, and as... complicated as things have gotten, It took me nearly dying to realize I loved you. And when I saw you falling like that, well... I couldn't think about anything or anyone else.""David...""I don't want to lose you, Ennil... but I know you. You'd keep on fighting, even if I bolted the cockpit of your mobile suit shut. That's how you are." you say, chuckling."You're damn straight." she responds, giving you a light tap on the shoulder. You respond by giving her a peck on the cheek.(Cont'd.)
"Still... I don't think I can keep this up, you know?" you say, sighing. "I still haven't completely wrapped my head around the concept that I hold a military rank, for God's sake. I'm not used to being some kind of authority figure; that was always my Dad's thing. I love him and I miss him, but... I'm not him. I don't think I can ever -be- him. I just want to go back to being David West; Shop Owner, Junk Dealer, and Vulture... but I don't want to go back to that alone."You look Ennil in the eyes, and grasp both of her hands."Ennil... When this is all over, would you come with me? I don't have anything concrete laid out right now, but I do know that I'd like you there right with me.""Oh David, I--" she begins, but stops, craning her head as she tries to look past your shoulder. You turn around to see what she's trying to look at, and you swear you can hear a tiny little -snap- as you lock eyes with Garrod, Pala, Toniya, and even Kid.What will you say, Dave?>"I'm going to give you four a ten second head-start...">"Do you mind? Rolled 1Alright, time for a 1d3.1 for RAGE, 2 for ignoring them entirely, and 3 for the head start.
Rage it is, then.>Writing...
There are no words to accurately describe the amount of rage and embarassment you are feeling right about now.No.Words.Instead, you settle on giving the four of them the most nightmarish expression you can muster. Your face reddens to a shade reminiscent of a very angry tomato, foam begins spewing betwixt your clenched jaw, your eyes appear to bug out of their head, and it's as if you yourself are radiating an absolutely unforgiving, oppressive heat.Toniya is the first to disappear, followed shortly by Kid, whilst Garrod and Pala scrabble around on their hands and feet, bumping into each other several times before bolting as far away as possible from your current location. When asked by the engineering crew why the two of them had locked themselves in the ship's engine room hours later, they would respond by saying that they had the misfortunate of staring into the visage of God himself. The very, VERY angry visage of God.They'd be fine... eventually. As for you, you're kind of hungry.>Go to the mess hall, get something to eat.>Ask Ennil if there's anything you can do for her.>Scare Garrod and Pala some more.>Write in

But if I ever do need something, I'll be sure and have Ophelia fetch you for me."At the mention of her name, you pale considerably. Before you can somehow look even stranger, you manage to stammer something out."N-No thanks; that won't be n-necessary." you manage to say."... All right then. You go ahead and get yourself something to eat, okay?""Yeah, okay." you say, managing a smile. You leave the room, making sure to close the door behind you, and make a beeline for the mess hall.
