“I do.” She shrugs. “Kind of.”

“Then you’ll find cleaning tanks is no different.” You snap your finger. “Hell! If we do a good job, we’ll get paid a decent amount of money, and we’ll might be able to schmooze the owner to borrow one of their tanks.”

“I suppose…” She says. “We aren’t going to have to wear bathing suits are we?”

“Nah, just our gym suits.”

“Okay, that’s fine.” She glares at you. “Just keep the hose pointed elsewhere.”

The two of you retreat behind your Sherman and then quickly change into the gym shorts and white shirt.

You sit in the Commander’s seat. “You know where we’re going, Lisa?”

Lisa nods as she keeps her eyes on the road. “Yep! Nancy gave me the directions. I’ll get us there in no time.”

“The museum’s got quite the collection of tanks,” says Nancy. “I hear it’s got a few on loan from Kubinka Tank Museum like the Sturer Emil!”

You nod. “That sounds lovely, Nancy.”

Nancy snaps her finger, realizing something. “Oh yeah. Pinkerton called me, said you allowed for some people to join us. Are they gonna be any trouble?”

Lisa shrugs. “I suppose. But enough about delinquents, you all ready for the tankwash?”

Nancy nods. “Of course I am!”

Ramirez says, “I’m wearing my bathing suit underneath.”

“That reminds me,” you say. “Me and Kitten don’t actually own bathing suits at the moment.”

Nancy chuckles. “Well, once this is over, maybe we can visit the Sewing Club, see if they have anything in your sizes.”

You pat Nancy’s shoulder, smiling. You then turn out and see the Loading platform, filled with your tanks but not much else. Everyone’s already in Casablanca at this point.

“Hey! You Gertrude Pool?” You look down, and see a Naval Studies Merchant student, that same one that told you about Storage G actually. She’s with three other students.

You nod. “That’s me.”

She nods back. “Francis Dales,” she introduces. “We wanted to offer our services to the Tankery Program. As a crew.”

You bend down past Nancy and towards Kitten. “Hey, Kitten. Ready for some tank washing?”

She shrugs, leaning back. “Eh, I guess. How many tanks are we washing anyway?”

“Well, I figure we have our tanks here that need some fixing up after the battle. Not to mention Principal Tennyson said they had around 30 or so tanks lined up for cleaning.”

She groans at the word “30”. You reach down and pat her head.

The loading is complete, and soon you’re off and away into the Marina and then into the city. The traffic is surprisingly light for one of Morocco’s busiest cities, but you’re not gonna complain. That means you’re going to get to the tank museum faster.

And boy, did you get there. The Museum looks a bit like a large plane hanger. You pull in and pass the M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo and the Panzer IV Ausf. H gate guardians. The hangar’s doors are open, and you pull up inside. You’re met by the museum curators, a couple of security guards, and the museum owner.

You drop down from the M4 Sherman, and the museum owner offers his hand. He doesn’t look like a Moroccan, more of a young man actually, and once he starts speaking, you can clearly tell his ancestry.

“Antoine Bethouart.” He offers his hand, smiling. “I own the place.”

You and your staff look at the line up of 30 tanks. All kinds of German, American, British, and a few Soviet tanks. You can even see some tanks you don’t recognize as well.

With that, he moves on, leaving you and your crew with a few buckets of water, a hose, and a lot of soap. You shrug. “Eh, let’s do this. Nancy, Ramirez, take the barrel. Lisa, the interior. Me and Kitten will take the hull.”

With that, you take up and immediately fire it at Kitten.

Kitten slaps the hose out of your hand. “AH! What the hell!?”

“Sorry, couldn’t resist,” you say.

With that, you immediately begin washing down the Sturer Emil, tough work, you’re only a fourth of the way past the hull and already you’re feeling sweat and grime get on your shirt. “Nancy, how are you doing?”

Nancy looks enraptured by the barrel. “This caliber… it’s so big…”

You arch your back, gritting your teeth at the exertion. You’re suddenly met with another burst of water from Kitten’s hose. “YOU-“ You quickly grab the hose out of Kitten’s hand then proceed to start hosing her down.

“AH! YOU ASS!” She folds her arms over her chest, running circles around the Sturer Emil as you pursue. “Stop! People can see through my shirt!”

You stand atop the M4A1, taking it all in. This particular M4A1 has a 76mm gun, and that means an interesting new turret somewhat different from the turret on your Sherman.

As Mr. Bethouart explains: “That turret is actually from the failed T23 line of tanks. They fitted it onto the Shermans when they couldn’t find a sufficient counterweight for the 76.”

You learn something new every- You’re splashed again with water by Kitten.

“TRUDY!” She sprays again with the hose. You drop down from the Sherman and steal the hose again. You then grab Kitten by the arm before she can run and start spraying her down. “AH! TRUDY! STOP! IT’S COLD!”

The Chaffee stops in front of the Panzer IV. Ace looks over at you, grinning. “We heard there was a tankwash in town! Figured we’d get you girls lunch and a tank to wash!”

The T-34 is the only real choice here, as it can be upgraded into a comp spec 34-85 and the Crusader didn't fare well against Tigers and upgraded PzIVs.
