With the rooming arrangements set, you wait around for a little while until the butlers arrive with your bags, separating them by room. After you make a point to check the Princess's room for anything suspicious (surprisingly, she actually didn't mind) and get all of your own things unpacked, everyone gathers in the living room of your suite.

"...and why are you all in here?" Marianne asks, slightly annoyed.
"Luciana's supposed to be coming back with that Karel guy, right?" Nicolette replies. "We might as well wait in the same room. Besides, there's plnty of space in here."

She does have a point... this "living room" of the suite is about twice as big as your own room back in Granache.

Before Marianne can complain any more, you hear a knock at the door.

"Are you guys in there?" you hear Luciana calling from the other side of the door.
"Yes, feel free to come in," Marianne replies, having decided to stop fighting it.

With a creak, the door opens and Luciana enters with her usual smile.

"C'mon, quit being so shy!" she says as she reaches out and pulls someone towards her.

A young boy with a fair complexion and short blonde hair stumbles into the room, having been thrown off-balance by Luciana's pulling. After taking a moment to gather his nerve, he faces you all and bows.

"Umm... good evening," he says sheepishly. "My name is Karel. The Princess said that you wanted to meet me?"
"Isn't he just adorable?" Luciana says, giggling. "Just look at how flustered he is!"

Romancing princess is a bad idea and always was. Being a friend is good, being her cry shoulder is fine, but we should guard ourselves not to develop romantic feelings.

Especially if there is a sliver of a chance of her gaining affection for someone on equal political footing - be it Emilio or some dashing young (half) dragon.

Only two things speak for princess route: First Girl Wins and her troubled past. First is meta bullshit and second would be better handled by a friend than a lover.
