You are Percius Aurex, Captain of a raider-class pirate vessel. Formerly the 14th son of a noble family, you fled that life in search of adventure and to escape your status as a political pawn. While on a mission for your wolfpack, you returned home under the name of a man you killed, revealing yourself to your sisters Alica and Synne before you added them to your pirate crew. Along with your fellow pirate Captain Morix, you completed your mission to secure navigational data and joined a convoy heading to your wolfpack's ultimate goal: Sector Corgus. Separated from Morix and the convoy during your voyage through 'The Corridor', you made your own way to the Celentis system and found your elder sister Selenti acting as a Captain for the Celentis Rogue Trader Dynasty. Though Alica successfully negotiated a resupply for your ship, Selenti was less than thrilled when you revealed yourself to her. There may have been a promise to kill you for something you did in Sector Deus, much to your sister Alica's worry. With a final farewell, your ship set course to reunite with Lord Wilson and the rest of the wolfpack.

A battered, scarred Morix and a jovial Lord Wilson awaited you at the system humbly named "Wilson's Refuge", the other Captains of the wolfpack out scouting nearby sectors or fallen to orknoids during their voyage. Eager to see the verdant ecosystem of the planet the wolfpack would call home, your crew has begun setting up a small camp far from the farming settlement of Lord Wilson. As your lighter begins to find itself free of the flames of reentry, you find your eyes drawn to the water below as the light of the system's star reflects from the calm waves. Eventually you move from your jump seat, casting your gaze forward from behind the craft's pilot. A large, rugged set of islands comes into view as the pilot banks the craft slightly, setting course for the largest of the landmasses. "Where are we, pilot?" "Off the Eastern coast of the Western continent, Captain. XO made the call, despite the agri settlement being on the Eastern continent." "You implying something, pilot?" "No sir! Just wondering of Miss Eberhardt would prefer a hug or a kiss for finding a beautiful area to fly in, sir."

Maybe Lord Wilson is right. Perhaps this is paradise for pirates...

>[posting the few bits from last thread, as it died overnight]
>>
[x] "Let's take the scenic route, pilot. Come in high and we'll have a look around."

"Yes, sir!"

The pilot points the craft's nose toward one of the smaller islands on the cluster's edge, pulling the stick back slightly as his legs shift. You feel your weight shift slightly as the craft turns to a lazy bank, the pilot adjusting a pair of dials before calmly relaxing his hold on the controls. Your instincts tell you to remind the man to fly, but to your surprise the craft simply maintains its heading. "Huh" is all you manage. The pilot simply glances back at you, likely with a wide grin behind his oxygen mask. "Trim."

You both turn your attention to the islands below as the lighter's bank slowly orbits you around the largest island. The pilot is quick to estimate that the cluster itself stretches perhaps nine or ten hundred kilometers in length and perhaps half of that at it's widest. You're even quicker to point out that the limited augers of the craft seem to show roughly that range as well. "I'm just that good, Captain." With a shake of your head, you turn your attention back to the islands themselves, especially the snow-kissed mountains of the largest two. One of the peaks seems to have winds blowing the snow from it, though it is quickly blown directly the opposite direction and down the slopes. "Pilot, does that strike you as odd?" He quickly locates the anomaly with your directions, then sets about interacting with the craft's augers. "I'll get us a better look in a moment, Captain."

Turning your attention from the strange sight, you notice the lush forests below the snow line, greens accented by vibrant reds and blues among the flora. Your crew's landing sight is visible from above, a small cluster of lighters parked in a growing clearing beside a glittering lake in the foothills. Even the shores of the islands shimmer as waves break upon them. Lord Wilson really does have a reason to be smug, finding this world. "Hang on, Captain."
>>
>>28124827

You grip a hand hold in the passenger compartment and feel your body sink toward the craft's deck as the pilot banks the craft nearly upon it's side, pointing the nose at the anomaly. The whine of the engines fades as the craft plunges toward the mountain peak, the auger display seemingly spinning as it attempts to make sense of the readings. Pressure from the bank soon turns to a feeling of near weightlessness, your hands and feet pressing against plasteel to keep you in place. "Good reading! Pulling out!"

Your limbs shake slightly as you step out of the lighter, the pilot laughing at your expression. "We cleared the peak and canopy by at least a good meter or two, Captain. Never in danger for a moment!" "You're a madman." The man simply removes his helmet and jabs a thumb at his sunglasses. "Pilot."

Around you, hundreds of men are expanding the clearing you've landed in. You're certain some of your Originals are scattered about and directing work teams, but you see no sign of your XO or sisters. All of which should be around here somewhere. Or, you could contemplate the strange auger readings yourself.
>>
>>28124854

You glance at the peak that hides the anomaly behind it, trying to wrap your head around the auger readings. The augers reported some sort of gravitational anomaly, though the reading was never constant. There was a faint, cubic echo to certain frequencies, but it seemed to vanish. Emperor, what in the universe did you just find? Maybe that pilot's flying scrambled your brain.

>Note to self: Check out that anomaly again at a later date.

You easily spot the lake's waters through the thin barrier of flora that attempts to mask it. Few crewmen are clearing the barrier, and you note that they're only clearing a pair of road-sized pathways at that. The air quickly loses the lingering smell of lighter fuel as you head toward the lake, your lungs filling with the oddly sweet smell of the freshly cut flora. A techpriest nearly collides with you as it carries an armful of sample jars, Orsola's personal symbol upon each, but you are able to sidestep the effectively blind priest with a polite greeting.

The lake is clearly crawling with lifeforms, the sounds of various creatures growing louder as you near its shore. Several creatures sound from the canopy of what seem to be trees, or perhaps some kind of giant fungus. You're not really sure, but you remember stories of worlds where mushrooms grew like trees, or perhaps trees grew like mushrooms. Probably both, now that you think of it. There were so many stories. Either way, the men seem to be calling them trees and no techpriests are around to correct you. Looking to your right, you see your XO Elise and Chief Medicae Orsola Magnus near a small stream flowing into the lake, a small pile of local 'wood' and assorted objects piled beside them. Synne's voice yelps in the opposite direction, though your officers only give the cry a tired glance. Looking toward where you suspect your sister to be, you find a small, rocky hill. Synne is likely on the other side.

The lack of further yelps from your sister and the inaction from your XO and Medicae officer is a fair indication that Synne isn't in danger, and the collection of goods around your officers does pique your interest. A short stroll brings you to their location, the two women, if you can still call Orsola that, seemingly lost in a debate.

"The local stuff will be fine, Orsola! Even if it is toxic when burned, the shine won't be exposed and that fruit we found is perfect for mash."

"Local fuel is likely to burn unevenly due to the moisture content, resulting in excessive or insufficient heat."

"Then I'll steal someone's clothes and make a billows, or make a fire pit to dry out the fresh wood."

"Local fuel is not a true 'wood', but rather a complex system of mineral-enriched organ-"

"Captain Aurex! I hope you find my choice of locale to your liking, Percius." Elise sweeps her arm toward the lake, a grin upon her face despite the sweat upon her brow and soaking parts of her clothing. Orsola nods in your direction, her hooded robe more concealing than usual. "Miss Eberhardt and I will have the still you ordered completed soon, Captain Aurex."

Your XO's eyes betray her shock at the techpriest's words, though she keeps a straight face.

"I believe you told your sister to put those damned..." Elise pauses for a moment before Orsola interjects, "reptiles, I believe they'll be classified"

"Right, reptiles. I believe you've told your sister to put the damned things into the lake, not play with them. Last we checked, Alica was trying to enforce your orders."

You sigh, remembering your sister's troublesome habbit of finding pets, though she wasn't nearly the worst of the family. "I'm glad you're working hard on my pet project, any idea when you'll have results?"

"Maybe a week, Captain. With Orsola's help, I'll probably have a still built in a few hours, then we'll get some of these fruits chopped up and fermenting." Taking a small, elongated star shape from a small sack, she tosses the plump, azure object toward you. "A few of the men say they're brutal on the stomach, but we're not sure exactly why at the moment. I figured with a little work they could give us a bit of moonshine, possibly even become something to trade in the future."

"In the event of failure, we could also distill any crude promethium with the device, with minor modifications." states Orsola.

Elise and Orsola look over the data your lighter's augers provided, your XO's expression clearly displaying that she has no clue what to make of the information. "I've no idea what it is, but if the peaks here are anything like back home, it couldn't be in a more troublesome spot to exploit. Nowhere to land a lighter, deep snow looming over every possible route you could take to climb to the damned thing, and apparently snow falls -up- when you get there." Elise looks at you, her eyes rolling. "Just the kind of place you'd find, Percius."

Orsola interrupts the momentary staring contest between you and your XO, her hood sinking slightly as she looks around and speaks softly. "This... could be one of the primary components in anti-gravity plates!" Both yourself and Elise give the techpriest startled looks as it begins to move about excitedly. "I... I've only accessed fragments, seventh, tenth hand information! Such a find, and on a planet with an ecosystem! We must send lighters to search for more deposits immediately!"

"I'll get some of the pilots to take up spotters and do a survey of the local islands, it should just look like general sight seeing if you decide to keep Lord Wilson in the dark, Captain." Elise glances at the project behind her before heading toward the clearing, Orsola quickly following after her.

After a moment of inspecting the various bits of copper tubing, sheets and a bit of scrap scattered about, you decide it is time to move on from this site.

Heading back along the lake's shore toward the small, rocky hill that you suspect hid your sisters from view, you soon hear Alica's voice. "Synne, finish saying goodbye to the damned lizard and lets go!"

By the time you've reached the top of the hill, you find your sisters silently heading toward your position, Synne clearly in a sour mood until she spots you. With a smile, she races up the hill as Alica sighs and rolls her eyes. "Percius! I found the most adorable little dragons, just like the ones in mother's story book! They crawled out of the ground right next to me and started climbing all over me and Alica wouldn't let me keep them!" Ignoring your attempts to even get a word in, your sister rambles on. "They were about two hands long, with most of their length in the tail and neck and they had these adorable little claws on their legs and these fragile, little wings and they were all sorts of colors! The little blue one was the runt of the lot, and it didn't want to leave me but Alica made me put it in the little rock pool where the others went after crawling on me and it just looked so sad! Can I go get it and keep it? Can I? Pleaaaaaase?"

Alica groans as Synne tries to summon psyker powers to bend you to her will. "How old are you again, Synne? I forget when you act like you're a child."

"No..."
"No..."
"...Why would I need to-... No."

"For now, let's keep your friend in the lake. Once we've learned more about it, we can decide if you can keep it. Wouldn't want your dragon to start breathing fire in the ship, now would we?"

Synne pouts, clearly disappointed that you've grown immune to her charms. "Yes, Percius" she mumbles. Alica looks impressed, her arms crossed as she observes the scene before her. "When did you grow up, Percius?"

"Probably about the time I learned to stop vomiting in my void suit at the sight of a chainsword biting into a man's body." The memory flashes through your mind, despite your best efforts; muscle and bone being torn apart and blood spraying wildly before the Ezer knew his body had been cut in half. Poor bastard always did have the worst luck.

Your sisters seem worried as you snap back from your memory, the smell of Ezer's blood still filling your nostrils.
"... So, what do you want to do, Percius?"

Your sisters join you as you begin a scouting mission along the lake's shore, Synne quickly showing you the tub-sized rock pool that she'd left her friend within. A small, blue head slowly rises from the pool, fine, blue scales blending the creature into the waters. Disproportionately large eyes track your sister's hand as she offers a hooked finger toward the animal, a small, purple tongue dancing from the creature's tiny maw to taste her skin before the entire head rubs against her. "See? It is swee-OW!" Your sister recoils as the creature gives her fingertip a bite, an alien... grin, you'd have to say, forming below the comically large eyes.

"Told you it would bite" chides Alica, "Probably only eats fresh meat, too."

Synne is again pouting, this time toward your sister, thankfully, as she rejoins you. "Know-it-all."

"Can we just enjoy a nice, peaceful walk as a family exploring an unexplored world, please?"

"This is peaceful, Percius. Seems you've just been away too long and gotten used to everyone obeying your command." Alica gives you a firm slap on the back after you grumble at her words. "Cheer up, we'll include you in our fights soon enough, brother!"

You note Synne give one of her grins as your face contorts in a mixture of incomplete expressions, words escaping you at the moment.

Your sisters exchange a glance at your response, then scowl at you. "Our family isn't getting any bigger, Percius. Sounds like the two of us will have to find you a wife before this dangerous lifestyle catches up with you" Alica states. Synne crosses her arms and nods in approval. "Leave it to us!"

The two of them proceed to make your life miserable, bringing up several old crushes you held before running away and debating the finer points of your taste in women. None of which are correct, but any attempt at protesting their choices quickly sees them both simply telling you "You don't know what you want in a woman." Typical, really.

Turning your attention to your surroundings, you listen to the various animal calls around the lake. Several of the calls seem to be coming from above you, perhaps avian creatures or tree dwellers. The short grass beneath you soon turns to another rocky outcropping, and you nearly step into a strange avian creature's nest toward the top of the rise. A pair of the creatures stare at you, their gray-white plumage is mottled with darker spots toward the wings, where it turns a solid black. Most striking, though, are the pale eyes and vibrant, blue feet. With a squawk, the small creatures regard you and your sisters, one of them raising its foot toward you as the other hurries over to the egg you nearly crushed, settling onto it with a firm wiggle of it's tail feathers and calmly resuming it's stare toward you.

The urge to capture one of the creatures and have a pet of your own crosses your mind, but you half expect Synne still remembers the three questions you asked of her earlier. She is certainly enough of a smart-ass to ask them of you. You linger for a while with your sisters, watching the strange behavior of the creatures, especially the goofy dance of the one that still stands. For the first time in ages, you remember what home felt like before you ran away, sharing real laughter with your sisters and simply enjoying yourself. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.

"Captain Aurex, Sir!" A panting crewman reaches your location, apparently having double-timed it around the lake the opposite direction. "Catch your breath, crewman, you look like you're about to pass out." Synne is quick to offer him some water from her flask, flashing the younger man a smile that earns her a stern look from Alica.

"Lord Wilson has summoned the Captains to the main settlement, Miss Noda's message suggested that only you and Captain Morix hadn't immediately flown down, though she wished you to contact her about something immediately, Sir." The crewman covers an exhausted cough, accepting another sip of Synne's flask. "That was about an hour ago, Captain."

"Crewman, ensure that these two ladies return to the lighters safely. I'll make better time on my own."

Your lighter from earlier still sits in the clearing, the pilot greeting you and then quickly making room for you to access the vox system.

"Aurex to Partisan. Voidmaster Noda, something on your mind?"

"Noda to Aurex, I heard you found a songbird earlier, sir?" The pilot with you perks up at Kihomi's words, tapping you on the shoulder. "One of our codes, sir. Flip the second switch on the right of the unit, it will switch over to an encrypted frequency." Following his instructions, you flip the switch.

"Go ahead Noda, whats on your mind?"

"Percius, something is up with Captain Morix. After the other Captains shuttled down to the planet, her ship docked with Lord Wilson's and appears to be taking on supplies. It wouldn't be odd, except she hasn't shuttled down to the meeting. Something just feels off, you know?"

Your mind replays your short reunion with Morix...
>>

You pass several teams of servitors tearing apart entire corridors and spraying what your nose and mouth tell you are chemical cleansers, crew parties lingering behind as they slowly return the corridors to a state of repair. As you make to ask Len about the peculiar action, he opens the door to a modest room. "Captain Morix will see you now, Captain Aurex."

Jess Morix slowly picks a bottle from a small cabinet, her hair longer than you remember, but neatly pulled into a bun. Pulling a bottle of whiskey from the cabinet, she collects a pair of glass mugs and places them at a nearby table. Hesitating, she looks at you with a weak smile. "Good to see you, Captain Aurex." Your eyes are immediately drawn to the long, branching scar that runs from above her brow and down the left side of her face. Her lone eye diverts as she notices your gaze. "Relax, you're not the first to stare. How do you like your whiskey?"

Morix plucks a pair of ice balls from a smaller section of the cabinet, dropping one into each glass and giving you a glance. "Sit, you're not going to be mingling at some social event." With a sigh, she pours each mug a healthy dose of whiskey and slides one toward you as you take a seat. "How did your trip to Celentis go?" You inform her of the basics of the trip, leaving out the detail that the captain you encountered was your older sister much like you did with Lord Wilson.
>>
"And you?"

Morix downs most of her whiskey at your question, slowly swirling the dwindling ball of ice in the remainder of her drink. "We hit a stasis rift in the warp. Even with the extra rations I'd bought, rationing wasn't enough. By the time we were free, half the crew was dead from a series of mutinies. Navigator found us so off course we ended up back in Deus once we escaped, and the mutinies just came one after another. By the time we made it to Caseblanco, the survivors called it quits and it was just me." Pouring herself another drink, Morix sighs again. "Think they'll come up with a fancy name that goes with 'Cursed' for me?"

Attempting to change the subject, you ask her about the planet below and offer a toast to the deceased rookie Captains Ristin and Parsen.

Morix taps her mug against yours, her expression sour. "Good riddens to Ristin. Damned Lech"

Changing the subject once again, you inquire about Morix's actions since her arrival in Wilson's Refuge.

"I've been down a few times, but I fail to see the attraction some of my crew see in it. I caught one of those exploding critters on the Western continent just to see it explode over an open flame. It was entertaining, to say the least." The woman cradles her drink, staring at it. "I was thinking of exploring my way back toward the Galian Salient, find a few orks if I'm lucky."

Silence lingers as Morix finishes her second drink, your own still quite full. "If you'll excuse me, Captain Aurex, I'm afraid I'm needed elsewhere."

Probably just paranoia. Not like we tell people everything we do.

from the sounds of it, she may be looking for death in combat... very few people consider 'finding a few orks' 'lucky'...

It is possible that she is suffering a form of PTSD regarding the series of mutinies and her remaining crew disbanding... It could be worked out, however, that would be a long term project...

For now however, see if we can't raise her on the Vox, offer her a lift to the meeting....

One of Morix's officers is on the vox, sounding bored. "I've told you already, everything is under control. Situation normal. Just relax mate, you maybe you'll live through this resupply. He on Terra, man."

"This is Captain Percius Aurex, is Captain Morix available? I thought I'd offer her a lift down to the Captain's meeting."

....I don't find that conforting at all. Tell the officer we will be heading up to meet with Captain Morix.

We should then message our handler, Erwin Estiban to see how everything is up there.

We should be the only ones going to meet Morix.

"Yeah, just remind her about Lord Wilson's meeting, I've got a good bottle of wine I'm bringing along."

You quickly switch over to the frequency Erwin uses to contact you, informing him that you'll be arriving shortly. "Aye, Captain Aurex. I'll have you cleared to land immediately. See you soon!"

The flight up to Lord Wilson's ship takes but a half hour, and you find your handler awaiting your arrival. "Is something wrong, Captain Aurex?"

"I'm a bit worried that Captain Morix has a death wish, Erwin. Do you know her location?"

The sharply dressed man's jaw tightens for a moment, his brow furrowed. "Yes, yes. I can see how this would have you worried. I believe I know where she is, I speak with her handler often, and she seems to be a woman of habit aboard this ship. Come, come. We'll go on foot, the journey will be faster."

You follow Erwin through workshops, crew quarters, storage areas and even a small medicae filled with plant samples in glass jars. "I heard a rumor your people decided to explore some islands away from the settlement's continent, Captain. Any particular reason?" As he pauses to enter a code into a door lock, he looks back at you. "Find some silver and gold and treasure, perhaps?"

"Missed a chance for my XO to see her home planet while in Paxia, guess she missed her mountains."

"Ah, the fairer sex, always pining for something. Rumor also has it you picked up two exceptionally delicate flowers during your missi-" "I suggest you not complete that thought, E" you nearly growl. "Ah, yes, yes. Thank you for finally referring to me as a friend, Captain Aurex! It does mean quite a bit to me, especially with the reputation you've gained after your mission!"

You notice that your surroundings have begun to be empty slave pens, more often than not, and the level of security is slowly increasing as well. Erwin seems to be stopping more and more often to enter door codes, and the stench of the earlier pens is slowly fading...

"Look out!" cries Erwin, throwing himself into you a moment before lasfire fills the corridor you were walking in. Scrambling behind a bulkhead, you spot at least four men that had opened fire, the nearest a mere 10 meters from your position. Erwin lies motionless in the middle of the corridor, his crisp clothing slowly staining red as his blood spreads along the cold, metallic deck. As you ready your hell and laspistols, an alarm begins to blare.

Towards your assailants, you hear a familiar voice. "What's the holdup? We need to get back to the ship before the crew figures out what is happening!" "Man in cover, Ma'am! Lucky bastard was saved by his bodyguard." Well, this certainly wasn't what you were expecting Morix to be up to.

Come now captain! When I came to see you I wasn't expecting to be shot at so soon. If that doesn't work it looks like we are going to engage on a one man mission to take the good captain down.

Also when/if he deal with then men that fired at us we should check to see if E is still alive.

>>
"Come now, Captain Morix! When I came to see you I wasn't expecting to be shot at so soon" you shout.

"Percius? Hold your fire, all of you" shouts Morix. You risk a quick glance around the bulkhead that protects you, noting the confused looks Morix's men have. "Make sure none of Wilson's men flank or run into our asses, you two."

"Morix, just what is so important that you're shooting up Lord Wilson's ship like this?"

"A lot happened between Paxia and here, Percius. I'm taking my parents and brother and I'm leaving all of this. Wilson and that bitch Modori were never going to let me buy their freedom anyway, the price just kept going up." Her voice seems uneven, though you note the same edge from when she'd cursed Ristin's name. "You're in my way, Percius."

Only the whine of the alarm greets your words, Morix and her men seemingly stunned.

"Throw out your guns if you're serious. We'll pass and be on our way."

The sound of your pistols dropping fills the corridor, one of Morix's men advancing to ensure you're not still armed. "He's clean, let's move." Something about the way he moves strikes you as odd, almost like your old instructor. It isn't until you see the second man move past that you see it, the edges of an aquila tattoo peeking from his upturned collar, just like Gerard used to have. Shit, what was he in the Guard?

Morix stops as she steps over Erwin's corpse, sighing as she offers you a hand up. An older couple and younger man glance at you as they are escorted past, more lasfire echoing from the direction they're abandoning. "You could come with me, Percius. He'd vouch for you, too. No need to explain why you let me go, no more worrying when the Navy will catch up with us and put us all to the sword."

Morix's posture slackens, her head turning slightly and obscuring the scar that runs along the left side. "He'll be disappointed, he liked you, after all." Several more lasrifle reports echo throughout the hallway, your eyes glancing at Erwin's body.

"You owe me, Morix. And I liked Erwin, to boot."

Your fellow Captain's stance tightens at your words. "You're the one that brought him to his death, not I. He likely wouldn't have been aware of this at all by the time I'd have escaped." Six men move toward your location, their armor marking them as Morix's men. "Captain, we've left our parting gift. We need to move, now" says a face you've seen before; Len Quisar. His eyes glance toward you, a subtle movement of his head likely asking if you're to be shot like a dog.

"Leave him be, Len. Bad luck to kill a friend." Morix's face softens once again, a silent sigh visible in her body. "Make sure you're clear of this section, Percius. We're blowing the pens where they held my family." You nod, watching as all but two of Morix's men move on, a weak smile apparently your final exchange with Captain Jess Morix. A few meters later, she stops and turns. "I'm telling him about this system, just to be clear. And if you want to take his offer up later... He said that you'd know where you could find him again, Captain Menexel."

You wait until her rear guard vanishes from sight before reclaiming your weapons, Erwin's blood staining the handle of your hellpistol.

I suggest that we say that we were on our way to escort Captain Morix to the meeting, discovered her 'treachery' as Erwin died to her men's fire, then we 'chased' after her. We didn't know of the bomb that they set so when it went off, we lost our footing and they managed to escape...

We can send a vox to our crew to prepare for departure, Informing Lord Wilson may slip our mind for a duration, then we Inform him that we shall 'chase her down'. This not only gets us out of the system before the Imperial Navy gets sent, but also gives us theoretical free reign for a duration...

Also, I assume that 'He' is the Commissar we met on that station, and that is where we would find him.

Hell, we might even be able to 'do odd jobs' for them in exchange for their 'overlooking' our mischief and exploring of forbidden systems and salvaging wrecks...
Of course, this is all theoretical and I in no way assume that we will even go that way...
>>
With a sigh, you look at poor E's body. Blood pools around his torso, face and arms, one of which is pinned under him. Crouching, you slowly roll him onto his side, his body heavy despite the quartet of chunks taken from his chest. The idea that those could have been for you passes through your mind as E's eyes look up at you, lifeless. Your fingers quickly close them, but your efforts are in vain despite what vidpicts always showed.

Carrying E vaguely toward the sound of Morix's group fighting its way out, your blood-soaked self is eventually found by some of Lord Wilson's armsmen. "Shit! What the hell are you doing, man?!"

"I couldn't just leave him, they planted a bomb... I need to get to my lighter and back to my ship."

"W-what? You're a Captain?" The man looks at you, confused. You simply nod, causing him to shake his head. "Shit. Wilkens! Get Captain Aurex here back to his lighter. Captain, we'll take care of Mr Estiban's body. Get out there and get this bitch back." He makes a cutting motion across his throat. "Rest of you, on me! We can stop them at the docking arm."

Putting E down is painful, though you'll move faster this way. Wilkens manages to lead you to your lighter just in time for the ship to rumble. "Get moving, Captain Aurex, and get that bitch for us if she tries to escape!"

"Shit! Captain, are you wounded?"

"It isn't my blood, get us back to the ship."

Your lighter is screaming from Lord Wilson's ship in scant moments, the pilot patching you through to Kihomi.

"Captain, what the hell is going on? Are you wounded?"

"Ready the ship, Morix has betrayed us and is likely making a run for it."

"Aye, sir! I'll send the lighters down and have them do an extraction of the men we have left on the surface.
