Screaming. Yeah, someone's screaming something fierce. Ronny? Yeah, sounds like him. Man, this one really went bad, fuck. If Paul hadn't fucked us like that.... I swear to god if I ever see his face I'm going to beat it out of recognition. All of their faces. But I'm not going to leave it like this, be the fall guy. Nah, the big apple. Break and make a name for myself....fuck me, he just wont stop fucking screaming! Or...beeping? "Why the fuck is he beeping!? Almost like some sort of alarm clock..." *beep beep beep beep* You finally wake up in your new apartment, thirty floors up. Looks like poor Ronny wasn't screaming like an alarm clock. He is a fucking alarm clock. Huh. You cant help but wonder how you manage to have such weird dreams about all that shit a few months back... Ah well, time to get up and rock my new job as a career criminal! Its only five am, so I should

Deciding to head to the bar early to get some breakfast seeing as how your apartment isn't exactly stocked with anything edible, you quickly make your way down the complexes elevator finding your glorious rustbucket covered in early morning frost. Yea, maybe if you call it glorious enough times it will become true. Twenty minutes later you arrive in front of the diner to discover the place doesn't open until six and no one seems to be around yet. You assumed that Alice would be there setting up or something, but it looks like you don't have much luck in that department. Twenty minutes pass and she arrives in a lackluster bmw from the 90's, a smile creeping along her face as she spots you. Getting out of her car the first thing that leaves her mouth is an insult directed at your car, and a question on how your stomach feels. You cant help but notice she is saying it in an obviously mocking tone.

Once we get the dosh we should get a complete overhaul of the car. New engine, new suspension, nitro, antiflat tires. A real getaway car. Keep it looking like a rust bucket though. Only we need to know what it's capable of.

Your not going to let her get to you this time no siree, so all you do is smile and nod, making your way in to the joint behind her. After she motions you to a nearby table, Alice makes her way to the back, turning on the lights and generally setting the bar and kitchen up. And now that you think about it, this combination of bar and breakfast diner is really bizarre. As she makes her way towards your table you cant help but think about this more and more.

Finally giving in to your at this point overwhelming sense of curiosity at the strange nature of the establishment, you say "Alice, I have to ask. What's up with the whole, breakfast bar thing, it seems kind of...well honestly its really goddamn weird." Alice eyes you for a moment before responding. "Well, the bar seemed fitting for laundering and as a good hangout for the crew, and I like breakfast." Before you manage a reply you hear a raspy voice behind you. "Really, its because we usually finish jobs and get back by early morning, so we can celebrate and have breakfast at the same time." ....really now. Not content with the answers you have been given you quickly reply. "So basically, its a place for functioning alcoholics to eat and drink right after waking up. "Basically." This you get in unison as George seats himself at the table and is handed a drink by Alice, who has already started on one herself. Its not even 6am. Oh jesus this crew.

Well what the fuck why not. You haven't had a drink in a long time, but I mean, you just robbed some guy for an 80k ring, and god knows how much in bills, so its time to get down to celebrating. "Well, why the hell not, give me a drink too I guess." Quick with a reply, Alice retorts "Well, hon, with a car like that I can see why you would want to drink. "Vodka straight up, like a man." Aww yea, charms kickin' in early today, real suave baby. Alice bemusedly looks at you before filling a tumbler half full with vodka. That out of the way, you can tell Alice wants to start talking business so you idly sip your drink as she gets to it. "So, after last nights gut wrenching suspense and ultimate success" Alice giggles slightly at her joke before continuing "the goods have already been brought to a fence, and we should have the payout soon. The 80,000 ring along with about 20k in cash and jewelery, puts us to a total of 95k, after some expenses. Being nice I figure we can split that altogether instead of just the ring, so the split is 19,000 for Chris, and 38,000 for George and I. You can do whatever you want with the money, just don't forget the down payment on that apartment, which I may add is a steal, I know the owner and he gave you a great discount." She takes a moment to sip from her drink before continuing.

We will be getting straight to work again tonight, and this time its going to be a bit more involved. I will have the full plan and more details later on today, but I will give the gist of it. Another rich guys mansion. Yea yea, more of the same right? Not so much, see, this guy has a lot of money. But the thing is, he also has a mistrust of banks bordering on the ludicrous. So where does he keep all his money? A big vault, underneath his house. Which, I should add, includes a main floor and two stories above it. This time, unfortunately, there will be more heavy security, cameras, alarms, maybe even a guard if the guy is paranoid enough. Any questions now hun?"

"Yeah, actually. I mean, I'm all for the work and all, don't get me wrong or anything, but I mean, it seems pretty gutsy for us to be doing this after our less than clean getaway from last night." Alice takes another drink before responding. "Normally, yes, we would wait a bit before the next job. But given whats in the documents we found in the safe, its fairly safe to assume that he wont be making any calls to the police. I will leave that topic for now though to continue on with our upcoming job." Through the entirety of her explanations, George has managed to finish his first drink and move on to the second. He doesn't seem to be slowing down much. "With the amount of security there is, our team will be a little bit bigger. And that's why I brought you in here so early this morning." Following her gaze you notice that a group of three people are making their way toward the front door of the entrance. From what you can tell, its a female and two males, and as they enter the building you note the two men share a similar height, one with somewhat short brown hair, the other with similarly styled dark blonde. The female is around the same height as Alice, with brown eyes and jet black hair, reaching to her shoulders. The three of them look you up and down as they smile while being greeted by Alice. "These three here are James, Rob and Zoe. Pointing to the one with blonde hair, she states that "Rob is our alarms and electronics specialist" now nodding at the other male she states "James is our vault, safe, general cracking and entry specialist. And finally" nodding to the female "Zoe is our 'public relations' specialist." The three of them nod to you in turn.

Making a call and then getting to town on this.

Alright, time to introduce yourself. Time to be suave, be smooth. Gotta impress the rest of the team from the start. Taking a quick drink of your vodka, you manage to inhale air at the same time, causing you to launch into a coughing fit and spray vodka across the faces of the three new arrivals, who are at this point sitting across from you. You follow this up with a coughing rendition of the words "Nice t'meetch *cough* ya, Alice calls me chr- *cough* Chris, but if she doesn't *cough* get jealous, I guess you can *cough*.....call me that too." Awww yeaaa, puttin' on the old charm. "The three look at you stoned faced and there is a awkward stretch of silence, punctuated with nothing but the sound of your suppressed final coughs. With nothing else left to do, you pop a sheepish grin and say "I do locks and distractions. Please, someone else start talking." At this Alice takes control of the conversation again stating "Alright, with introductions out of the way, I think the six of us can split ways, and I'm sure that the three of you" to which she motions at the people we just spit at "want to wipe off your faces in a washroom or something." at this she giggles before proceeding, while looking in your direction. "Well then hon, I'm going to give you an advance on your split since you're flat broke right now, so how about you go and spend it on something nice yea?" Oh sweet jesus an opening to leave. Thanking Alice for the out profusely in our head, we apologize to the three newcomers and make our way to our glorious rust machine, and decide to head out on the town. Alice said to be back by five, so we have quite a bit of time on our hands.

When the hair dresser asked if you wanted gel, being the charming motherfucker you are, you asked for double. Slick. From there you picked up our now serviced GLORIOUS car, made your way to the pawn shop from yesterday and picked up the lockpick set and flashlight. Who knows, could be useful right? Classic rock. Classic suit. Classic rust. Truly you are the masters of charm. Parking and getting out of the car you make your way over to Alice, who, obviously impressed with us, has had no reaction to any of it. "So Alice, can I treat you to lunch...at your own bar?" Could we be any more suave, god. DAMN. Slick just like your hair. Raising one eyebrow slightly whilst giggling, Alice responds. "Well, hon, if this is how you sweet talk someone, don't try and talk your way out of a mugging. But sure, lets head in to eat." Following her inside, sitting next to eachother at the bar, Alice orders the cook, who you now see to be George, to make two plates of the special, some kind of breakfast sandwich. You decide to make small talk, start a dialogue. I mean really, what's the harm, and knowing a little back story on the people you work with is probably a good idea. "So, Alice. You seem to be a seasoned pro, how long have you been in the business?" You yourself have been a criminal in some form going on five years, but until recently its just been petty crime. After taking a bite from her food, Alice swallows and replies. "Well hon, I guess looking back I have been working as a pro going on eight years. Before that I was still in the business so to speak, but I wouldn't really call myself 'pro' in the beginning." Having finished her comment she starts to eat her food again and you do the same.

Again starting conversation, you turn your attention to learning a bit about one of the toher members of your group. "So, how long have you known George?" in quick reply, Alice replies with "We have been working together for three years now. I took him in on a job mostly at random and with the way it turned out, we have worked together since." Now finished her food, Alice notices that the rest of the group has shown up early and decides to start the meeting early as well. Closing the empty bar, which involves simply turning a light off and locking the door, Alice joins the rest of you at a table and begins talking. "Alright then, lets talk about this next job shall we? Since only George Chris and myself were here earlier when I discussed the place in brief, I will start from the top. The place has a basement, main floor, second and third floor, so four in total. Our objective is the vault located on the basement level. The estate is surrounded by a somewhat tall fence, surrounded by privacy bushes. The gate has a security camera watching it. As for the house itself, the front is watched via camera, as is the back entrance. There is an active alarm system on the doors and windows. Other security includes interior cameras and motion detectors in certain rooms. We will need to deactivate the alarm system, avoid the cameras or retrieve the tapes, bypass the motion detectors, gain entry to the vault, haul out the goods in five duffel bags and make our escape. We will have a two hour window to do so."

Alice takes a moment to clear her throat before continuing, holding the complete attention of everyone at the table, including yourself. "Now, before I grab some blueprints from the back and get down to the fine details of camera placement, room placement and etc, do any of you have any questions?"
