This quest takes place in the Teen Titans animated universe, as well as the larger DCAU. Are you new? If so, get caught up at http://pastebin.com/cEFrBd9dMore updates coming soon!
>>28095292Yes. Yes I do.But not super huge ones. I don't like those.
>>280956111st in new thread.
>>28095659Mini's are the way to go, but i actually prefer whipped cream on my chocolate.
>>28095702Why not both?
Hey everyone, what color is Starfire's energy bolts?Or like her general projectile color? You know, when her eyes glow, or when she throws something? Is it bright green?
>>28095733Bingo.Wait...Why do you need to know that...
>>28095733>>28095744Yea bright green
>>28095733Bright green if I remember correctly.
>>28095733Bright Green yeah......Whyyyy do you wanna know?
>>28095733Like this. Whatever kind of color this is. Has a glowness to it.
>>28095733What color is her blood?
>>28095733Yup. Blackfire's is purple usually, red when using that jewel thingy.
>>28095707Because I dont exactly like my hot chocolate too complicated. Simpler is better.
>>28095759Because we picked to see her.
>>28095759>>28095754http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MonochromacyMy brain cannot into color.
>>28095788Ever try Ovaltine?
>>28095801Okay, but why is she using her powers?
>>28095801WHY ARE ALL THE SUPER CREATIVE PEOPLE I KNOW MONOCHROMATIC.ALL OF THEM.FUCK
>>28095733It's a brighter shade of green, somewhere around lime green or mint, I'd hazard.
Holy shit I'm actually here in time.
>>28095801Oh, I didn't mean it like that.I meant why the fuck are we going to see starbolts and shit at all.
>>28095801So do you see only in black, white, and grays or is it like color dyslexia?
>>28095834Compensation for not being able to see the beauty of color.
>>28095801Its ok, neither can Finn the Human>>28095834Because with one less thing to worry about you can make everything else better
>>28095805Nah, I may be old, but I'm not >>28095854 old.
>>28095834>Mfw my best friend is monochromatic. Welp, now i have to find out what his secret talent is.
>>28094472You decide to visit Starfire. Her door is open when you arrive, and thankfully, she's wide awake. Rippling auras of green are dancing around her outstretched hand; that must be a good sign. "Greetings! I have seen friend Terra in the hallway. Tell me, has the team welcomed her company?"You give her the information. Terra's been getting along with everyone so far. "Wonderful!" Starfire is beaming. You get the feeling she won't be in recovery for very much longer; the essential enthusiasm that has come to define her personality is steadily returning."It is my sincerest hope that we are able to look beyond past conflicts. Tell me, do you trust friend Terra?" You give it some thought. Terra seems genuine enough, but do you really know her? No. You barely know her at all, and the only person to have regularly seen her over the recent months is Beast Boy. Can you really put faith in his trust? He's completely taken by her, after all. A: You trust Terra. Whatever she's done, it's in the past.B: You aren't so sure. Maybe everyone should keep an eye on her.
>>28095932Watch her become a spy for somebody since she went into the city.
>>28095839This is somewhat hard to explain, but here's the short version:On a scale of color vibrancy and recognition, where normal human vision is 98-100%, and greyscale (basically) is 0%, my vision is 1-3%.
Don't we have like zero information on which to base this decision? We know that Raven and Robin have somewhat ambivalent feelings, Beast Boy likes her, and there's probably some bad blood in the past that they've mostly gotten over. That hardly seems like enough to make any kind of informed decision.
>>28095979You should replace your eyes with cyborg ones like a decade from now.
>>28095932My policy is generally to trust people until they betray my trust.
>>28096000If its an eye thing and not a brain thing
>>28095979Is it hard to keep track of what's going on in a TV screen? Especially a cartoon.
>>28095998Yeah but were only given two choices.>>28095932A
>>28096014Get a cyborg brain if it's a brain thing. Problem solved.
>>28096024So....become a computer in a meat suit?
>>28096021Vote wasn't counted, man.I'll keep saying it until everybody does it right.
>>28096037You know you want to.
>>28095932>A: You trust Terra. Whatever she's done, it's in the past.>B: You aren't so sure. Maybe everyone should keep an eye on her.I kind of have a problem with this kind of binary choice.I mean even though some things you have to say its one or the other, we're not really in the best position to say. I wish we could just ask Starfire for her judgement and trust her. She has mad Tameranian wisdom.
>>28096072Yeah I can't believe we have to be involved and make a choice, when did we do things this way in the quest?
>>28096030I'm giving Terra the benefit of the doubt here.I'm new to this team, to my powers, and to this Super Hero thing.Among the standard cluster fuck that 'I' am, as a Son of DEATH where robin was afraid i might kill someone with a touch, Jinx, who you guys told me was an ex-villain, and i only know a little about that too, and that Beast boy really Really likes her. Clearly, you guys are into second chances and taking things as they come. That and, he'd been seeing her for who knows how long on the side until i nudged him to bring it out... I met her maybe like two times, she didnt put me off then, and she's saved my life (Remember when Beast boy went Beast mode and blinded us? Would've gotten worse had Terra not put him in a coma.)
>>28096091Sometimes the best choice is to give the choice to somebody else, you know? Not that it matters, we all know Terra's history. It makes game sense, I just wouldn't pick A in real life.
>>28096158I don't know, personally I think giving someone else the choice isn't independent thinking. Then pick B ya goof!
>>28096202One of the most important life lessons is that there are huge numbers of things you don't know and can't spend the time to learn and should just trust people who have spent the time to learn them on.
>>28096038Not sure why my vote wasn't counted. I've missed a few threads so if there was some kind of rule change I don't know about it.
>>28096158I just think something is still OFF with this entire island. We still havnt gone to Coast City (which the QM clearly wants us to go so)We've been told this is one of Green Arrow's old hideouts, that we've never seen, only told by robin.Clearly, this island is populated by Pod People. It is the only logical conclusion.
>>28096235Just the reply and letter to Humble, nothing more, nothing less, don't reply to anyone else.
>>53990256http://pastebin.com/cEFrBd9d>The only votes that will be henceforth counted are votes that consist of a reference to the post they are voting on, and immediately below that, a capital letter signifying what vote they want to make. Example:>>P>>Done. Those two lines above are all your vote can say. If it says ANYTHING ELSE, or is formatted AT ALL differently, your vote is not counted (lower case is acceptable)
>>28096235Rule is:ONLY the letter answer to your vote. anything else said in the post will invalidate your choice, as it states in the pastebin at the top of the thread.
>>28096262And now I know better!
>>28096249Well we saw that geometric spot in the woods. And we have removed write privileges on our brain.Just hang in there, we'll go to the city soon.
>>28095943You're no expert on the topic, but Terra seems trustworthy enough."I am glad. She has given much of herself for our sake."Quiet moments pass. You start to speak, but Starfire talks over you."Do you see it?" She asks. She's smiling, but her tone doesn't match the expression. It's even and direct. You have no idea what she's talking about. You look around, even through the slots in the walls, but notice nothing at all."It comes to watch me, friend. I can no longer believe it is not real."You look down to a nearby pill bottle. Hallucinations, paranoia, and other perceptive distortions are listed as side effects. This is starting to make sense to you."It is outside, beyond the line of trees. You may not be capable of seeing so far." Starfire's hand rests over your own. "Please friend." She says. "Please remove me from this room." You haven't seen anything strange on this island, and that list of side effects is highly suggestive. C: Calm her down. It's just the medication, and she won't be taking it for very much longer.D: Do as she asks. Wheel her bed out into the hallway, and take her to the game room.E: Leave her here for a moment. Go outside and ask the Titans if she can sleep in someone else's room for a while. Company might help her.
>>28096232She asked what we think, I'm sure she'll tell us what she thinks after we express ourselves.
>>28096323Doesnt the game room have a Robin shaped hole in the wall?
>>28096351You haven't been in there again for me to say it, but the game room is in perfect condition. It's a really nice, non-suspicious room.
>>28096379Well fuck you too
Now watch, watch as we wheel a crazy person outside and she flies away.
>>28096379Can E be our room then? Since we dont really need to sleep. I've been still paranoid since we landed.my vote is going to be E.
>>28096323This immediately became spooky.Make fucking sure not to endanger Starfire you guys.
>>28096414Well, Humble has been talking about a Halloween like event coming up.
>>28096414Oh we'll take good care of her.
>>28096397>high as fuck on painkillers.Bitch be trippin.
>>28096441The likelyhood that the bullshit she's talking about is the same thing we saw with Robin last time is very high.
>>28096441Creepy triangle forest!Weird shadows in the woods that managed to give robin and us the slip!A hole in the game room thats NO LONGER THEREThe fact that Starfire is Dead serious about not remaining in this room.
>>28096474But nothing happened last time.
>>28096441She said she's convinced they're real. It would be cruel to just tell her it's all a hallucination and just leave her alone.
>>28096480You son of a bitch.
>>28096474Exactly. We'll take Starfire to the game room, but we wont Leave. I'm telling you man, Robin's probably already replaced by a Pod person. Everyone full paranoia
>>28096474>not leaving her as bait, and monitoring the outside>not immediately teleporting to designated area she is talking aboutWhat happened to you guys?I thought we were reckless
>>28096497Don't resist anon.Enjoy your vacation....
Oh look t's time for us to hurt Starfire some more. I was expecting us to do something to Terra but I guess good ol' Star hasn't suffered about yet.
>>28096529Not our girlNot our problem
The fucking tension.
>>28096482I once jumped into a ditch following a gigantic praying mantis made of wood with a human face that had burrowed away to my majesty's table.I was plenty convinced. No one pitied me thenSalvia is one hell of a drug.
>>28096342You wheel her out into the hallway, heading for the game room. It's the only place you can really go, being that every other room is either occupied, or a kitchen. You do not, however, get very far."What's... Going on?" Says Robin, who you run into in the hallway. He appears genuinely confused. You give him the details."We've been over this, Star." He says, bringing two fingers to the bridge of his nose. "It's just a side effect of the medication. Nothing to worry about." "Robin, please." Starfire pleads, with very little of the polite collection she usually reserves for requests. "I do not wish to be alone in my room any longer. You must not leave me there!" "Moving you to a brand new location might only increase the paranoia." A moment of silence breaks in. You could suggest something.F: Insist that Starfire gets what she wants. Perhaps she could be taken to Robin's room.G: Join Robin in calming Starfire down. He probably knows more about this medication than you do.H: Stay quiet. Let them resolve it.
>>28096616I was once perfectly sure the feet on a small rubber lizard I'd won at a Chuckie Cheeses had grown heads and were bickering at each other until they saw me and then began to scream profanity at me.Being a kid with ADHD and half asleep, you'll see some shit.
>>28096648While "insist" is a strong word, I don't see why Robin wouldn't be jumping at the opportunity. Also, not sure why we can't say that even if it is just the medication, being left alone probably isn't great for Starfire, and she could use having some extended company.
>>28096626Why cant she stay in our room, she clearly trusts us.Also, Raven is a pod person, its why she's not meditating lately, otherwise we should've seen more emotions creeping outward as a result.
>>28096675Dude,When you're half asleep is where it's at.I've seen some terrifying and trippy shit my mind will make up out of fucking nowhere.Like I can't even wrap my mind or remember half the shit I fucking see.Shit's fucked up man.Shit's fucked up.
>>28096626May we add in the fact that we saw something weird too?
>>28096718Stop with the pod person thing, its probably not that. And yeah, if Robin says no, she can stay in our room.
>>28096735Why would you lie to robin like that?
>>28096735Unfortunately I don't think our immunity to memory loss is retroactive? We don't remember seeing anything?
>>28096735We don't remember. And the geometric thing has no aparent relation to what Starfire is saying.
>>28096721Yeah dude I know, trust me I know.
>>28096747>>28096755We saw something weird when we went to happy forestland with BB. That's the kind of thing you mention.
>>28096800I was thinking of the thing we saw with Robin before we blacked out, but yeah.
>>28096646You think Starfire should have her way. Perhaps she could be taken to Robin's room."I would be most pleased." Starfire says, looking up at her leader."Oh, uh..." Robin looks about, unsure of what to say. "Yes, right. I mean, of course."That settles it. You wheel Starfire back down the hallway to Robin's room, and leave the two of them in there together. Outside, the sun is starting to go down. You're still in your swimming trunks.A few minutes later, that problem is solved. You are now in more functional clothing. It'll be an hour or two before it's dark enough for a good bonfire. I: Locate Beast Boy. Ask him if he's opened up to Terra.J: Find Terra. Join in on whatever she's doing.K: Find Raven. You haven't seen her since the game. L: Maybe Jinx is doing something fun. Look around for her.M: You haven't hung out with Cyborg in a while.
>>28096751Raven hasnt been talking to us, she isolates herself already, she hasnt been meditating lately, She's the perfect target for some sort of parasitic replicant pod creature! It's coming for Starfire next, the injured drugged up person who is to recover and move around soon. The perfect time to strike!
>>28096816THAT HAPPENEDWTF HAPPENED?!IS THIS A DIFFERENT TIMELINE?!!OUR WE ON THE ISLAND
>>28096800>We saw something weird when we went to happy forestland with BB.You saw a kind of interestingly shaped overgrown hill, far away. It really isn't worth mentioning.>>28096755>I don't think our immunity to memory loss is retroactive?I think it's better if I don't explain this. You're immune to future tampering, short of a massive magical force doing it, but you didn't regain memories beyond the ones involving Jinx that were intended to be regained. >>28096839>she hasnt been meditating lately,Yes she has.
>>28096867Look, the Pod Person wouldnt have our soul connection going on So we can try to get some proof on that by interacting with her, Jinx isnt replicated to the best of my knowledge so we're inviting her to bunk with us tonight, but just Terra went to the city.Know what that means? Podded.
>>28096839I thought that was because she's never had a deep intimate experience like the one she's had with us, and she still doesn't know how to feel about it.
>>28096920Just wondering how many people are here. http://strawpoll.me/650011
>>28096837We should make sure too ask Robin how Stars doing later on.
>>28096964>http://strawpoll.me/650011Oh course im not one! I'm insulted you'd imply such.Would you like to come with me a moment to talk in private anon?
L-l-lets hit those s-s-showers g-guys
>>28096976I don't see the harm in it, sure.
>>28096987I told Cyborg that it was too soon for Starfire to take a shower.
>>28096837>"Oh, uh..." Robin looks about, unsure of what to say. "Yes, right. I mean, of course.">inner thoughts>(Good work Donn! Good teamwork, nice effort, I owe ya one
>>28096976You seem like an upstanding fellow! Lead on!
He's going to give us infrared goggles or something.
>>28096974It should be obvious by now that we're all going to be abducted at the bonfire.
>>28097030More like:>(HOW DARE YOU CONTRADICT YOUR SUPERIOR, YOU CHEEKY CUNT BASTARD. AND IN FRONT OF MY QT3.14 SPACE ALIEN GF. ONE MORE LITTLE FUCKING SLIP UP LIKE THAT AND IT'S THE CAGE FOR YOU KIDDO)
>>28096899You haven't seen Cyborg in a while. He's sitting on the beach. His mass is overwhelming the tiny plastic chair beneath him. "What's up?" He calls out as you approach, without looking over to you. He's focused on fixing some sort of mechanical issue with his arm. Tiny sparks fly out as he tampers with sockets you don't understand the arrangement of. It's really quite a peaceful sight. The glittering light of his arm; the pale blue of his circuits; the rolling ocean nearby. Beautiful.N: Ask Cyborg for some technological training. O: Ask Cyborg if there are any upgrades or additions to your equipment he has in mind. P: Ask Cyborg about Beast Boy and Terra. He knows BB better than anyone.Q: Ask Cyborg about Starfire's paranoia.
>>28097112How is Cyborg supposed to help us about the strangeness of this place! Unless pod people cant replicate metal, like in The Thing...
>>28097112R. Tell Cyborg how beautiful he is.
>>28096964>23 votesMan I remembered when we had at least 100 different readers.
>>28097177Yes... But we are the faithful few.
>>28097112>It's really quite a peaceful sight. The glittering light of his arm; the pale blue of his circuits; the rolling ocean nearby.>Beautiful.Well I wonder who's thoughts those are
>>28097197But still, it's kinda sad that mods effectively killed an entire community by making us move.
>>28097206Glorious robo-dick incoming.
>>28097206You're not implying...oh god,...
>>28097206>>28097222>>28097245The ocean is close enough to showers. We knew this day would come.Clang-clang is imminent.
>>28097245They would have to be Donn's thoughts. I've always suspected that he might be playing for the other team.
>>28097287Wait a second...what if they are Raven's thoughts...?
Sorry, got caught up in The Last Airbender scenes on Youtube.Continuing.
>>28097299thats...Thats what we're speculating mate, we're just being funny.
>>28097303Get your priorities straight nigga
>>28097287Well to be honest, I think the same kinds of things when shopping for parts for a gaming pc.
Raven's thoughts are not audible to the MC.
>>28097219Yeah. It probably wasn't even all the mods, either. I just imagine some sweaty assfaced virgin is happy that he ruined a good time.
>>28097343Someone got to get their jollies somehow.
>>28097127You ask Cyborg about your equipment. "Equipment? Whaddaya even need?" He asks. "I don't know anything about magic. Got any other skills? Weapons training? Good throwing arm?" Well, no. You don't suppose you have any special training outside of the magical sort. "I don't know what to make if you don't know what to use. Talk to Robin next time training comes around. He might have an idea."Learning a new skill might open up fresh equipment possibilities when you speak with Cyborg. You make a mental note to look out for those opportunities. "Anything else on your mind?" He asks. R: Ask Cyborg about Starfire's paranoia.S: Ask Cyborg about Beast Boy and Terra.T: Ask Cyborg for some technological training. U: Nothing for now. Head down to the beach; the fire will be starting soon.
>>28097112I finally get to participate in this! I just want you to know that I really enjoy these threads.O
>>28097474Dude format your vote right.
>>28097446Welcome to Teen Titans Quest, sera. Enjoy your stay. Please note that all votes including anything other than a post reference and a letter just beneath it will not be counted.Look to the typical format of votes beneath all story posts for an example. Most everyone will vote the same way; do it like they're doing it.
>>28097446Welcome to the ride. Here is your free bucket, fill em up with tears and donate them to humble, he sells them on the black market and needs the money.

>>28097446Got a waifu that interest you on here? Well fuck your shit, and you should feel bad for liking that character.Enjoy your stay.
>>28097560Unfortunately, i have to get off of this wild ride tonight. I work a double shift tomorrow. Goodnight all. Please dont kill anyone.
>>28097589If we make a TT general banner, this needs to be on it.
>>28097627Not promising anything
>>28097589Red X is my waifu. I guess I am a pretty horrible person.
>>28097455You ask Cyborg about Starfire's paranoia. "It's just the meds." He says, before closing a panel over the sockets in his arm. "Normal stuff. I thought this place was creepy too when I came in; can't imagine being on drugs while I'm here."That's a good point."But there's really nothing to worry about. It's creepy 'cause it's one of Green Arrow's old hideouts. Cover, you know? Not really meant to be a beach house, just disguised as one. It's got a bunker with all kinds of old practical tech. That's the only place they put thought into."An old bunker beneath the house? You never knew."Time to go. Robin'll be lighting up the bonfire any time now."He stands. The chair looks greatly relieved. You head down to the bonfire by the shore. A strange sense of anticipation is in the air. (TO BE CONTINUED)
>>28097693I'm not done, by the way. I cut it off for length and pacing. And because you ran out of time and couldn't do anything else.

>>28097693But the mood quickly fades to relaxation. Everyone's arriving alongside you. The whole team: Raven, with her hood down and her cloak open, looking more gentle and meditative than usual. Cyborg, upon whom the dancing fire is reflected. Beast Boy and Terra, sitting next to one another on a nearby log, laughing at the confused behaviors of insects. Jinx, sitting gracefully with crossed legs on a nearby chair, slender hands behind her head. Robin also takes a plastic chair, and you notice Starfire's bed has been rolled outside and placed next to him. She's watching the fire with a positively gleeful contentment. Where will you sit? There are three open spots. A: Take the chair next to Jinx.B: On the ground next to Cyborg. C: Next to Raven on the other end of Beast Boy and Terra's log.
>>28097934I wish we could give something of a happy look or greeting or something to Raven and sit with Jinx...

>>28097785To whoever keeps using her as a reaction pic in these threads,I have this to say: Fuck you, good sir.I am a 21 year old man, and I am partially blaming you for hooking me on that ridiculous show.I've never weabooed over anything, and I was only curious.Just one episode man.Just one fucking episode. It should've been something manly, like Bebop or Ghost in the shell. But no. >>28098025>Hi Raven>and then sit with Jinx.I said Acknowledge Raven not sit with her, i said sit with Jinx. Besides, i dont think Jinx is a pod person, Yet.>>28098048Quests typically go that way, first girl to gain depth of story is the usual standby the players go with.
>>28098025>>28098048I see both sides of the argument, but I do feel like we should interact with Jinx a little bit. I mean, we've barely even seen her since our mind meld, and she was the reason we did it in the first place.
>>28098035Wait.Is this supposed to be homoerotic?Does the opening have anything to do with the show?!Why do all anime have their characters run like sonic?Anime openings are confusing and misleading...
>>28098094We've barely interacted with either Raven or Jinx. I've been annoyed that we kept going to robin or BB or cyborg when we've held those two at an arms length.
>>28098014For me it is Gunsmith Cats. Best three episodes ever.
>>28098094>I mean, we've barely even seen her since our mind meld, and she was the reason we did it in the first place. That doesn't obligate us to do anything. The only reason people picked A was because it was the easy option. The only thing we have to talk about with Jinx is how much she wants our dick. The conversation with Raven is going to be more difficult because of lots of reasons that come to mind, including how we relate to each other now and what she means by she understands why we picked Jinx, and BB and Terra have their thing going on.But no, with Jinx there was something that we wanted, so you picked it.

>>28098122I agree with you. We really need to figure out where we stand with each of them, so we can hopefully stop tearing ourselves apart over who we're waifuing up. No clue why people keep dicking around with Starfire and Cyborg. I mean, I like them, but nothing particularly interesting happens when we check in with them.
>>28098108It's the 80s style. The opening does have to do with the show.Never thought of the sonic connection, I don't see it.Not always...I mean, the one's I watch always seem t have something to do with the show. Outlaw Star, Big O, Gundam...that kinda stuff
>>28098177Try watching Riding Bean as well. A single 45 minute OVA that was made before GSC.Meet an American badass as shown by the Japanese.
>>28098185>Starfire seeing things watching her>Not interesting
>>28098198>Equipmunk sharp, equipmunk dirty, equipmunk make Anon's bobbum hurty.
>>28098173The devil made him do it
>>28098186The outstretched arms towards the back as they haul ass through...Whatever I guess?I will check those shows, so as to not be such a faggot.I mean I watched DBZ, Pokemon, and YuGiOh, but apart from that, I just into capes.
>>28098140Jesus, dude, calm down. I picked Jinx because there's unresolved issues there that I'd like to see addressed, I want to give BB and Terra space to do their thing, and Raven would probably prefer to be in a more private setting to discuss our connection. There are valid reasons for picking A beyond "Jinx wants our cock."
>>28098247It's from The League, season 3 episode 5.
>>28098254>I picked Jinx because there's unresolved issuesCould you share those with me?I mean the only thing that comes to mind is her eye, which is fine, but less complex than other stuff that's going on.Also, I'm not mad, I just calls em like I sees em.
>>28098209No, hey man, i completely agree there as well. Starfire is in some sort of danger, she's had our fucking back. She's in trouble, we're partially at fault for her being used to make a Suit of leather, and she's been nothing but nice to us.But we've also got our own shit, personal in our head and our hearts to sort out with Raven and Jinx. Jinx spent a time hurt because we'd outright lost our memories of her, we were damaged, and treated her like Nothing. People made dumb choices back then to not talk to her then, and any time we ever seem to make an effort to focus we veer off again to deal with other stuff. We were starting off with Jinx, and then when we went on that damned undercover mission, we didnt even talk to her before leaving! And we can at least spend time with Raven and Jinx for things besides personal Gain! Every time it was 'More powers' instead of 'spend time'
>>28098209in character, she's probably just tripping balls on her meds, because god knows what earth pills do to tamarranean biology. Ooc, we already know weird shit's happening, that didn't progress that plotline at all beyond reinforcing that weird shit continues to happen
>>28098301I did kind of find it amusing that everyone picked more powers over anything else. Still, those powers are fucking cool and useful.
>>28098253Ah, JoJo actually tends to avoid that running style.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81hgOMx7_VM
>>28098292We completely Forgot her. She had to stand there and not just outright explain it all to us because reasons. She had to act like we were not connected at all, because reasons obviously. We'd taken her out on a date, saved her life a few times, and you damn well better believe the Joker issue was Huge. not to mention to portal to hell on her stomach made by Slade's goons.
I fucked up and deleted the update. Rewriting it now.Won't take long. It was kind of big, but not amazing or intricate.
>>28098351Stop watching Avatar on youtube, shit's messin you up
>>28098351notepad, nukka. use it.
>>28098140Jesus fuck, you seem really angry at this.
>>28098350So...what do you want to talk to her about?
>>28098351>>28098375Seriously Humble. We've been through this like 10 times now.
>>28098292I don't know where we stand or what her feelings ate at this point. Things were going nice and smooth, seemed like they were progressing towards a relationship, then she got tortured and lost an eye partially through our own inaction, then we lost all memory of her. Maybe she's still interested, maybe she's been hurt too many times and wants to keep us a bit more at arms length. We have no clue. Last we interacted with her, she was hurt, angry at us, but then seemed to be coming around.tl;dr: before losing memory of her, we left on an ambiguous note. Now that we have said memory back, it'd be nice to sort that out.
>>28098344I have to admit, that is both hilarious and terrifying.
>>28098378Why does everybody keep saying that?I'm drinking coffee and listening to house music and am pretty subdued by my tiredness. That post was 100% the way I am interpreting the situation, I am not mad. That is what I think it is.Why do people think I'm mad?
>>28098351im saying this with the preface of the fact that i dont mean to offend or patronize you, or make you uncomfortable by mentioning any possible insecurities or anxieties you may have about adequacy or whatever, but if you keep saying you deleted the update when in reality you just haven't started it yet and you feel you need an excuse for taking extra long, please dont. nobody is going to be mad that you take extra long to update. everybody values the time and effort you put in and we understand that the amount is totally up to you. every new post is a gift humble- you owe us nothing
>>28098380an apology for forgetting she mattered to us? A good start.Maybe asking about her Ex-hive buddies, how she ended up in the Titans, ask about Her. Show an interest besides dancing, maybe try to tell her about the memory she lost when we messed in her head. With the dancing, the sparks, and destroying her house and possibly family.
>>28098433word choice and phrasing, mostly. The way you wrote the post came across as frustrated and accusatory, like someone upset that they didn't get their choice. I apologize for the misinterpretation if that's not the case. Difficulty if interpreting tone of text and whatnot.
>>28098433You made it sound like you were fucking pissed that we decided to sit next to Jinx.Listen im sorry that people like Jinx, i didn't really vote in the manner, but people are gonna think of you as a whiny little prick. But if you were really serious, well you got my sympathy.
>>28097939You make your way through the growing bonfire circle of young adults, all of which have re-donned their regular attire, and take the chair nearest Jinx."Nice, huh?" She asks, completely absent of sarcasm. And it is a nice fire, at that. Carefully positioned logs weave a mesmerizing tower of flame. Robin's done impressive work, but that's to be expected from him."Wonder what we're gonna do out here." Jinx says, but only loud enough for you to hear. "Swap stories? I doubt Robin's planning to get us drunk." You share a brief moment of laughter with Jinx at the thought. "So..." Robin says, addressing the entire group. "Anyone up for marshmallows?" The food is passed around. You try a couple yourself, lighting up the sugary cylinders on the tip of a nearby branch. It's delicious. This is the life. Friends and companions, warm food, and a blazing fire. The perfect setting; a vacation the likes of which you never expected to have. "I have a question." Of all people, Raven's the one to speak first. In her hand, a flaming marshmallow she's completely indifferent to has long-since ignited. "Did this guy..." She looks over at you. "...Really just jump into hell like that? No warning? Nothing?"The Titans bust out laughing. "You know what they say." Cyborg injects. "Neither rain, sleet, snow, nor existential infernos can keep a Titan from the job." Somewhere, under the laugher, Terra sounds confused. D: Laugh with everyone, but don't say anything. E: Tell them that your only real threats are balconies.F: You were just happy to do the job.
>>28098493Yeah. Word choice and phrasing isn't taken into consideration.http://ezinearticles.com/?Franklin-Method---Ben-Franklin-on-Persuasion-and-Writing&id=358521
>>28098456>if you keep saying you deleted the update when in reality you just haven't started it yet and you feel you need an excuse for taking extra long, please dont.I haven't; I'll tell you when I'm just taking a while, if that's what's going on. Also, thanks anon.>>28098383>We've been through this like 10 times now.3Possibly 4But you're right.
>>28098533Terra must feel so left outta the loop.
>>28098533>all this E consensusYou know, I wonder if this is going to devolve into bringing up all your "threats" in lighthearted fun, before they soon start to realize that everything they've gone through has in some way resulted from a fuck-up on our part.
>>28098544>>28098550>>28098551>>28098558>>28098559>>28098562>>28098565>>28098569>>28098571>>28098572>>28098580>>28098598>>28098599>>28098615HuhuhuhuhuNow if only I could be that charming in real life.
>>28098533Raven shared with you a secret about you that you'd never know without her, and sacrificed her own life to throw herself into hell to protect you from Slade. Hardly knew you, yet there she was, didnt look like she needed to hesitate. You weren't a Titan yet either, not fully. You were still a scared homeless teen. You cant take back that year she lost in hell, but it was worth it.And hey, you met your mom! Not a thing starving homeless teenage vagrants can say often, right guys?
>>28098533Holy shit, my good feels.>>28098493>>28098532>Difficulty if interpreting tone of text and whatnot.I think maybe I get away with this kind of speech in real life because I'm very monotone about it.But I would never assume that a paragraph of text that came to a point would be angry if it didn't have a face or tone of voice to it.I mean it would be accusatory if I were pointing fingers, but I'm not. I'm just making an observation, and nobody has talked about it except that one guy who had some good points about why we should talk to Jinx.
>>28098639if it was me, i definitely would've just laughed and not said anything, because i can't make jokes

>>28098705>>28098734I think if we ever get to a weak & desperate mental state, we should totally do this.
>>28098775>Laugh nervously>"Dude come on, you're not my parents.">See raven getting angry>"Sorry raven, didn't mean to leave you out in the cold on the jokes!"

>>28098983>Here's a riddle for you Cyborg....
>>28098544That was nothing; your only real threats are balconies! The laughter goes on and on. It's a good time all around; even Terra, who barely knows what's going on, is taken into the humor. You feel as though you have become significantly closer to your entire team. "Okay, dudes." Beast Boy begins, looking all around. "When did so many girls get here? We're being taken over!"More laughs are had. "The tower needs as much of a feminine touch as it can get." Robin says, eating a marshmallow from an awkwardly thick branch. "I think Alfred's ready to disown me for the messes he's seen on visits." "They got here when you invited them." Raven includes, but the humor is less effective this time. Everyone instantly thinks the same thing: is everyone else okay with Terra being here?Awkward silence invades the meeting. "Okay guys, look..." Terra begins, looking at the sandy floor. "Look nothing." Says Cyborg. "You're welcome here. There's nothing else to say. "Yeah, I was just kidding." Raven includes. The rest of the Titans immediately agree. Terra stands, speaking to the entire group at once. "No, I have something to say." She begins, composing herself. "I've been meaning to do this since I got here, and ages before that. This might be my last chance." A few of the Titans start to speak, but instantly think better of it. "I've done some terrible things. I thought about explaining why I did them, but that would make this too complicated, and I don't wanna make it sound like I'm putting the blame on anyone except myself."A quiet moment. Again, nobody speaks. "I'm really, really sorry." Her nervousness is coming out in spades. "For everything." She looks around the group, and hesitantly retakes her seat. "I guess that's it." Terra finishes, looking at the ground. (TO BE CONTINUED)

>>28099035I wonder if the choice regarding if we trust Terra from the interaction with Starfire affected this at all.
>>28099125>1 guy voted noThe stick hath thoroughly penetrated that one's derriere
>>28099163probably not, but it might affect starfire/terra interaction in the future.
>>28099175Well sure, she wandered in out of the blue from the forest.Clearly she's a pod person infiltrator.>>28099196Considering she was either going to be ready to blast whatever was watching her before, or Terra if she walked into the room? Since no one told her.Even Robin.
>>28099175I'm not alone.
>>28099035It's quiet. Nobody knows what to say. Until Starfire speaks. "I believe you are forgiven, friend Terra." She says, with a voice to define honesty and genuine expression."Yeah." Raven continues. "You wouldn't be here right now if we weren't all okay with it. It's..." Raven takes a moment to use an unfamiliar word. "...Cool."The Titans nod and send forth agreements, much to Terra's visible satisfaction. "And if Raven says it's cool," Cyborg begins. "Then it's cool. She was three times as angry as anyone. If she's gotten over it, we've ALL gotten over it."Universal agreements once more. Raven nods with closed eyes. Terra smiles. The faintest beginnings of tears are in her eyes. "Whew, glad that's over with." Terra says, reclaiming some of her upbeat attitude. "That's one's been eating me for a while." Other topics of conversation come up. A quiet chatter rises around you, and the mood is comfortable once more. All is well.Truly, in this moment, more than ever before, all is most certainly well. All but Beast Boy, that is. He's silent, looking around the campfire, and fidgeting with mild indecision."Alright dudes, why not?" He says, rising from his seat. "I have something to say, too."It dawns on you. He's really about to do it. Here, in front of everyone. "Terra..." He begins, looking down at her with rehearsed confidence. "I've known you for a while, and you're the coolest. Not just that, I mean, you're the best: You're strong, and brave, and you make me laugh all the time! When I'm with you, it's like everything's perfect."He takes a moment to prepare himself for the grand finale. "I love you, Terra."(TO BE CONTINUED)

>>28099341Did we do this?
>>28099341Sorry, this update is just REALLY long, and the MC doesn't get a lot of choices just yet. Should I stop for tonight? I think I'm losing the audience to exhaustion. This would be a pretty decent stopping point.

>>28099367I know it could be considered a cliff-hanger, but don't end it half-way through a scene.

>>28099389I'd find a good next step would be to take the floor after BB pasta's it up and Terra finishes blushing to her ears and back. For us, it is not a Welcome Back for Terra, instead, it is, a Hello, nice to meet you. We want to get to know her, and, for her and everyone else to get to know us.We should share a little tale, living on the streets of the city(Item of Note, when we get home? Lets take some of those thousands of dollars we have and buy a shitload of warm jackets, food, ect, for a charitable night donating them out to our old Hobo comrades.)
>>28099367I'll second what another poster was saying earlier and suggest you type the whole thing out in notepad or something, then copy and paste into the reply field. That way you can avoid having to retype whole sections, and for long posts like this you can post the broken-up fragments a lot quicker and get to the player choice sections quicker.

Every present Titan is either momentarily stunned or totally taken aback.Terra doesn't say anything. She's staring up into Beast Boy's waiting gaze, blinking with locked surprise. Her head turns and falls, facing the uneven ground below. Her eyes trace patterns in the sand; her gloved hands, searching for a distraction, rub the caps of her knees. The moment is extended no longer. "I'm sorry." Says Terra, for a second time tonight. Beast Boy doesn't move. He doesn't breathe. His eyelids gradually fall, until his eyes are shut tight. That's when you noticed Starfire's empty bed. (TO BE CONTINUED)

>>28099682So by tomorrow do you mean Tuesday or today?
>>28099740It could have gone many ways. Terra couldn't have been there, you could have missed the risen connection with your team mates, beast boy could have gotten cold feet, etc.

>>28099753today.new updates most likely coming monday or tuesday. And by monday I mean today.
>>28099763>beast boy could have gotten cold feetI guess that was our bad for not shutting him down.
>>28099682Hey Humble I have a question. I know you don't usually like to reveal plot decisions that weren't chosen, but I have to ask. When we were out at Jinx's club for the first time, we we're offered drugs and declined them. What kind of shenanigans would we have gotten into if we chosen differently?
>>28099774I wasn't planning on sleeping anyway...
>>28099730Plus side, if BB goes full chimpout on us for egging him on we can>A: Give him the Bandaid routine, if she didnt love you at least now its Done, instead of you agonizingly running around her like a puppy until you're crushed, again as ive heardOr>B: I'm a magic hobo, what the fuck do i know about relationships! I lived on the streets most my life, at least you had the titans and your parents and everything else going for you! Have you ever pooped in a dumpster and begged for change!?>Hell i think "Have you ever had to poop in a dumpster" trumps a lot of things the Titans could argue at us. Except Robin, he probably has. Stakeouts with batman probably Suuuuuuck.
>>28099788My guess is that it would be something similar to what happened when Raven and Jinx drugged us on purpose.
>>28099785You know cold feet doesn't mean he wasn't going to do it right? People are acting like this is a big deal, but better to get the pain out of the way now instead of waiting until later right?
>>28099788Okay, okay. I'll let you in on it. Well, not the details, though. Basically you'd have had a bad trip, gone through a perfectly normal set of choices, and later discovered what your 'normal activities' REALLY were. Oh, you also would have gotten into serious trouble with various people. At least, possibly. Jinx would have understood your situation, having likely been there herself in the past, and tried to help you out.
>>28099817Jinx is a nice person.
>>28099785>I guess that was our badNot necessarily. Sometimes it's best to get things out of the way. Him waiting for a while wouldn't have changed her feelings.

Alright Climax injury bets are now in session.Who is going to get it this time fellas? My vote is Robin is going to do something stupid
