It's been awhile since I drew a village build quest thread and really feeling nostalgic, so why not make a random one shot?

This is set in /tg/'s original setting called CATastrophe to promote it and let everyone enjoy a bit, for more info on the setting visit the general thread >>28063503

Characters were done in the general thread but it is open to anyone interested to suggest what to do.

So the 3 brave travelers have arrived to new Earless ruin on their venture to open their new enterprise (or whatever that will be) and collect lots of shinies.

So far only 3 mimi can live here until conditions improve.

What's our inventory like? What did we bring here?

I think a first priority should be to set up a little garden on the rooftop and grow a bit of veg. Cleaning out the lower stories should free up some living space too.

There's also fishing to do.

They paid shinies to a foxboy friend to bring them here on his boat but he had to go and do other shipping and left he will be back later with some lunch he will trade from the next client.

They climb up to explore the building and find a dark hole that leads to the lower floor there is darkness in there nothing to see. There is no way proper way to reach to the top floor at this moment.

They brought sleeping bags, some tools to hammer and nail things to place and stick-tape. A large roll of strong sticky tape. Yes-yes sticky tape costs many shinies but very useful. Also got a standard fishing rod and some eating equipment for lunch.

Tom explores the lower floor but cannot make out much he finds a table which he pulls to the hole to make entering and exiting easier. He could make out many junkies he could not identify in the dark.

They unpack 3 light chairs, unfortunately these are plastic and metal chairs and cannot be used for making a torch.

Tom tries to find the window he slips and falls but his fall is cushioned by a large pile of dusty plastic bags. Following the Usa's voice he thinks he finally finds the window but it is barricaded by a large object a locker or cupboard or something. he needs all his strength if he wants to move it. It might be blockaded

Should we start fishing or diving?

The blue haired one collected stringy bits these could be used for rope but need more.

Alright! Time to make some firewood and torches out of the barricade and broken furniture. Let's get the table out into the light, it could be used for crafting. Also, clear out the lower floor and open the second window. Should look for ways to go into the sunken parts of the building.

This. Let's get firewood fro demolishing wooden furniture and see even if we can get wooden planks we can use for building. Blue should seek scrap metal and tools, but anything useful or interesting will be good.

Tom uses the hammer and the axe to disassemble furniture into building materials and wood to burn.

Blue dives down to see how the building is underwater.
Usa is fishing.

Our fourth member who drives the ship has returned with lunch and more supplies.

You now have enough materials to build a hut and a ladder.

Let's get that ladder up, and continue exploring the lower floor. Open the other window, and check for passages to the flooded lower floors.

Luckly Alec has brought plenty of ropes, together they create rope ladders. Alec continues to unload the cargo.

Maxine ascend to the top floor, there is nothing useful here but there is a lot of free space after some cleaning.

Nora has resurfaced and brought some news, the underwater floor is also nailed shut and she couldn't enter the floor even lower is also.

Good idea, but we should be careful about it. If the underwater room next to the boat is still waterproof and we can get it open without letting any water in, we can eventually rig up a basic hoist and use it as a water-chilled storage room for food supplies.

Alright everyone thank you very much for playing, I hope it was enjoyable even if so short. I had fun the idea of turning the place into a sail through restaurant is very intriguing. We'll see if we can continue this sometime, now I must hurry to bed.
