Had it not been for that fortuitous detour, you might never have heard about it- the newest breakthrough Foundation X has been working on. They had dopants, those who used [Gaia Memories] without a transformation belt known as a [Driver] along with some Kamen Riders, those who possessed a [Lost Driver] which allowed them to transform. If your group could get a hold of that, it could turn the tides!

You’d do anything to help your loved ones and allies, so when your friend Emily Straits, the best infiltrator from your rag-tag group of Rebels, didn’t appear at the rendezvous point after she went to scout out the situation, you began to worry. And you couldn’t let anyone else go after her- it was your information that led to this situation so on you could risk going after her.

Having managed to escape from Foundation X for years without being identified or caught by their Kamen Riders, it wasn’t hard to slip into the base. It was easy.

Too easy.

There wasn’t a person in sight, but you had to see things through.

It didn’t take long to head into the research department, but when you arrived there you could see Emily staring at a mysterious [Stone Coffin] with a strange [Driver] in her hand. You move into the room as she looks up and smiles at you. The sound of coughing makes you turn your head towards a figure in a white suit, clumsily trying to hold a white [Refined Gaia Memory], a [Lost Driver] around his waist before his hand’s grip on it slackens and his eyes glaze over.

“Julian, I figured you’d be the one to come after me.”

Letting out a sigh, Emily turns towards you. There’s a look of disappointment on her face. “If only you didn’t have that /stupid/ sense of Honor and justice.”

She disgustedly spits out the words before pausing, raising a finger. “And now you’ll say ‘Emily, how could you betray us?”

“Emily, how could you betray us?!” You pause as her expression turns into one of smug satisfaction. “Seem, you’re too predictable. You don’t understand what matters in this world. That’s [Territory] and [Power] and you have neither. Besides, I’ve never betrayed anyone in my life.”

You pause as you see several [Silver Coins] atop the [Stone Coffin] start to move towards something on the lid. Emily pauses and turns around, seemingly fascinated.

“So it /is/ reacting! As I expected of a relic found by Foundation X! I wonder what will happen?!”

You move in toward Emily as if you’re going to tackle her- you see her move out of the way- she undoubtedly expected such a thing, but you thought two steps ahead. You use your momentum to spin and slam your leg into her in a good old Roundhouse kick.

Her eyes widen in surprise as she slams into the [Stone Coffin], her head cracking against its side. She lays there for a moment before beginning to laugh hysterically as she gets up, blood running down her face. She reaches up as swipes a finger across the blood before licking it.

And then several things happen at once. You hear a clicking sound coming from the [Stone Coffin] as the lid opens as hundreds, if not thousands of [Silver Coins] begin to fly about through the air.. You run, FAST, into the storm of swirling coins. As you head towards the [Stone Coffin], you see something small and reddish dark away towards another door FAST. When you reach the edge of the Relic, you lean over to look into the [Stone Coffin]. Though there’s most of the [Silver Coins] are gone to fly around you, you see a few with color and snatch them as one struggles against your grasp as you hear an ominous voice behind you.

“BLACK KNIGHT”

You desperately hold onto the singular struggling coin with one hand as you pocket the two other that aren’t as you see the coins begin shaping into three humanoid forms. However, right near you, you see a shape rising out of the black mists.

It’s an imposing form covered in black metal, designed in the style of medieval knights.

It turns towards you as a heavy, malicious voice echoes out, a foul mimicry of how Emily used to call out your name to get your attention.

In your one hand is a coin, but you dare not open it, lest it escape. It fights against you, even now. However, with your remaining hand, you rip off the [Lost Driver] and grab the [Gaia Memory] with two of your fingers.

You run down the hallway and try to remember how to get out of here- that thing would be trying to take the most direct path. You run to the gates frantically- as you reach them, you see something fly out from behind you- darting past you.

Damn it, who knows what that thing could be up to. Glancing around, you see a small car, probably belonging to the man that died. Opening the door, you look for keys but only see a place to swipe a card. Pulling out the [Keycard] you found earlier on his obdy, you swipe it as the car starts running. You quickly accelerate and start looking for thr arm- it doesn't take too long, but it'd very agile and you find yourself driving out of the base's deserted surroundings andinto the town nearby. Like how police cars used to have priority, most cars pull to the side as you chase the arm. As it turns down a small alley, you hear a loud explosive noise as you feel the car jerking out of control.

Desperately trying to regain control, you manage to get into the middle of the road without any major problems. Looking out of the car you see a figure approaching the vehicle.

Wth a long brown duster and a large, modular gun, the armored form is one known to you. It's one of Foundation X's lackeys
