It has been no more than two hours since your daring rescue and dashing escape from the Inquisition Fortress World of Talasa Prime, and the down time has thankfully given everyone time to collect their thoughts and catch their breaths. You needed to spring into action soon, though: no doubt your pursuers will eventually realize you are no longer anywhere on the planet's surface, and extend their search segmentum-wide. That assertion sounds positively paranoid for anyone to make, but...

That Inquisitor knew your name. He knew your name and recognized you. You would not be surprised if he knew of 'Stand Abilities' and concluded that your escape was made with aid of a Stand.

If they sent Imperial Navy ships to sweep the sector, and they found the Eldar ship which no doubt had an alien, smooth, curved appearance (although you've never actually seen it from the outside, so this is just your intuition speaking)...it would be over, and there would be no escape. You are perfectly aware of your Stand's main weakness; its range being no farther away than two meters from you. Out of all the Stand Users in the transport, only Macha's Stand had the range necessary for movement throught the vacuum of space, and you're not exactly sure Weather Girls could do anything to deal with a fleet of spacefaring vessels.

You thought that perhaps Criehr's 'Austerlitz' could create an 'illusion' to conceal the ship, but it seems her Stand, which mimicks a sketchbook and pencil, has its own fair share of limitations as well: the illusion, if undisturbed, can only last for three minutes. You do not claim to be an expert on combat in the void, but you were quite certain that with that small timeframe, your group would need to make visual contact with pursuers before enacting any illusions...and if you can see them, they can see you. That just left complete evasion as the wisest and most desirable course of action.

Conclusion? There's no time like the present. You had to get moving, and you had to get moving now.

Captain Titus Zepelli supposedly knew, in the Emperor's own words, 'where you are to go next'. The Captain confirms your suspicions after you share with him your story so far.

“There is a tower just like that in Armatura.” Your next destination is clear.

A dead planet like Armatura should not offer much in the sense of martial resistance, so you, Rahman, Mercuria, Macha, Criehr and Captain Titus are the only ones to travel to the planet surface (courtesy of Macha’s W.G.). The looming steel spire stretches seemingly endlessly towards the heavens as dust and sand buffet your face.

It was time to talk to the Emperor, whom no doubt holds the answer to many of your questions.

Austerlitz takes the shape of a simple sketchbook and pencil.

ABILITIES:

Fact || Fiction - Anything drawn by the user of Austerlitz within the 'sketchbook' can become a 'tridimensional illusion' which looks absolutely identical to what the real article would be. These illusions, however, are absolutely static; they do not move or have the intrinsic physical properties of the real article (for example, were one to draw 'fire', one would not feel the heat). The illusions, however, do have visual depth. The trigger for activating this ability is 'ripping off' the page from the 'sketchbook', although this might just be psychological in nature. The illusions are, additionally, completely intangible, albeit the user can manipulate the elements of the illusion as they see fit, similar to an actual object, for the sake of position displacement (like when the user held the 'Tequila Bottle').

Fiction || Fact - Should anybody attack one of the Austerlitz with 'an intention to harm' whatever is depicted by it, the damage will appear as if it is done to the 'illusion' (should the illusion of a man be slashed in half, it would seem as if a man has truly been cut in such a way), but the real damage is instead reverted to the attacker.]

The wasteland-desert outstretches as far as the eye can see, testament to the destiny Armatura suffered so long ago. A planet devoid of all life, just an endless expanse of sandy white that stretches on and on.

You don't know what thought is more unsettling: the fact that there could be something out there or the fact that there might be nothing at all.

If anything tried to blindside you, though, they'd have a hard time with that, there are no places to hide around here.

You decide to store the Gauntlet for now.

"JoJo! Found something?" Criehr calls out to you.

"Yeah! But I'm going now!"

Soon enough, you've rejoined your friends at the entrance of the Tower. Unlike the one in Carillion, this Tower's doors were intact. The huge metal doors towered oppressively above you.

"We're going to have to find a way to open these." Rahman (very eloquently and in no way incredibly obviously) adds. "Captain Titus, have you any knowledge of what lies inside?"

"A mystery to us at Ultramar" Captain Zepelli answers the Psyker. "We've never been able to open these doors, or destroy them, for the matter. They are impervious to everything we've tried on them."

"...Okay, so now we know forcing our way in is out of the question." Mercuria adds.

You scan the doors, looking for anything that might seem as a trigger mechanism.

...

....There is something here. A heart-shaped indentation.

....

Your pendant is a perfect fit.

The door start opening inwardly, carrying wild rumblings along with their sluggish movement.

"Whoah! Way to go, JoJo!" Criehr happily chided, as she skips happily forward into the tower. You follow suit, entering the structure.

This one seems a lot more well-preserved than the one in Carillion...but otherwise, it was identical. There was even an elevator in the same location as the last one. Without any hesitation, you climb into it. The metal churns and shrieks as the lift comes to life.

It takes quite a while, but you finally reach the top of the tower. Once again, you find yourself in a communications room decorated with Imperial regalia, the golden hue of the walls much more vivid than the last.

Sitting atop an ornate chair in the middle of the room is he, the God-Emperor of Mankind, who upon the arrival of visitors, stands up from his resting place, slowly walking towards his new audience.

Rahman and Mercuria hastily kneel, as does Titus.

(cont.)
>>
>>27892897

"Titus, why do you kneel?" You ask.

"Why do you not?" he retorts. "I can feel him in this room...the immortal Emperor."

"So he can." adds the Emperor, unseen and unheard to the Space Marine. "Titus has a dormant 'Stand Ability', like you did, Joachim. It was this that protected him from Chaos in Graia, and the reason he was accused wrongfully."

So your suspicions about the Emperor sending you to search for another Stand User were true...

"Joachim." the immortal ushers. "Give him a cut with the Heart-Shaped Pendant. His Stand's awakening will not be immediate, but he should be able to see and hear me, at least."

Removing the pendant from your neck, you approach the kneeling Marine Captain. Wordlessly muttering an apology, you cut him along his temple, next to his service studs.

After a few seconds, his eyes fill with tears.

"My Emperor...my Lord!" Titus wept at the presence of the savior of all humanity.

"No, Titus. You are my equal. You are not my vassal. Rise. Same to you, Mercuria, Rahman". The Psyker and Guardswoman do as ordered, but their postures are still rigid and inflexible. "Relax, please. You two are my equals, as well. Ah! And of course, Macha and this new Stand User whom I do not know of yet."

"My Emperor! Did you truly just call the xenos and the Guardswoman 'equals' to you?!"

"Yes, yes. They are Stand Users like myself, of course! Titus, once one spends as long as I have atop the Golden Throne, one develops new perspectives of life coupled with reflections and recollections of the past. This is not the first time I've looked down on another species just to come to respect it with time, I'll have you know."

"O-oh! Eheheh, Captain Titus..." Criehr removes the Guardsman helmet she still wore, letting her long, pointy ears come into full view. "Sorry, I forgot to tell you! I'm actually an Eldar as well."

"I should have seen that one coming, didn't I?" The Captain shrugs.

(cont.)
>>
>>27893086

The Emperor chuckles lowly. "Titus, these Eldar are under my direct aegis. Farseer Macha here has been instrumental to your rescue, as you are no doubt aware. She and her crew deserve to be treated as more than allies; they are friends."

Titus nods. "If such is the Emperor's will."

"Joachim," the Emperor directs his attention towards you, crossing his arms in front of his golden, radiant armor. "no doubt you have a myriad of questions. I shall answer them for you."

"My Emperor...Rahman told me that he no longer felt the influence of the Warp as he did before. My Lord...just what exactly are 'Stands'?"

"I wish I had a straight answer for you, Joachim." The Emperor responds, shaking his head. "I have heard many explanations for 'what is a Stand'. Some have explained it as a manifestation of one's fighting spirit, others have asserted that Stands are the ultimate form certain arts can reach...that, however, might not be that important to your question. To have a Stand is to assert one's 「Individuality」and be willing to choose one's path in this universe. Chaos cannot control those who have that incredibly strong sense of self...that 「Individuality」 makes the Warp identify you as uncontrollable. This is why I wanted an Imperium free of cults, so the people could develop that 「Individuality」 rather than being shackled by dogma...and yet, now Stand Users are rarer than in the2nd and 3rd millenium."

...An Imperium made up of Stand Users...powers that defy logic itself might bee too much for humanity to handle by themselves, but the Emperor thought it possible in his infinite wisdom, so...it was not a possibility to discard.

You decide to drop that one of questioning. "My Emperor...who is it we are truly fighting against?"

"Joachim...I wish I knew. Not even I know the answer...I just know one thing: the enemy is 'within the Imperium' and they hold unparalled might."

A deadly group of foes who are a secret even to the Emperor...what a scary thought...

"Joachim, that's why I need you. To find the answer to that question, we can only move forward. So never stop moving, Joachim."

Reposting Stand abilities and analysis.

[LOW RIDER]

Destructive Power: B - Obviously superhuman, I wouldn't be suprised if we could throw small vehiclese,

probably not strong enough to chuck roadrollers or minarets at people, though.

Speed: A - Near lightspeed to FTL

Range: E (2m)

Durability: C - Rougly on par with The World, don't take too many punches from an A ranked Destructive

Stand.

Precision: B - Not good enough to preform brain surgery with our Stand's bare fingers, but still

superhumanly accurate. Our stand can flick stones/bullets to a range of 75-100m (Josuke almost hit a *rat*

behind cover at 60m.)

Development Potential: A - Adaptable as fuck, Koichi was able to evolve his stand into alternate forms via

Acts, and Gionro constantly pulled new abilities out of his ass.

ABILITIES:

Touch and Go: Any "object" that comes into contact with one of Low Rider's limbs can have its "coefficient

of friction" with all objects changed at will.

Domino Theory: Low Rider's "Touch and Go" can affect any object at a distance so long as there is a "path

of objects" for T&G to follow.

Look at the diagram. Since Low Rider is in contact with "Object 1", it can change the friction of "Object

4" without affecting Object 1, 2 or 3. This does not work by using the 'ground' or 'air' as an "object"

conduit.]

Shit, apparently 4chan screws up the formatting from notepad.

[STAND NAME: Firestarter
User: Rahman Akon

Destructive Power: B - Obviously superhuman, has the capability to cause significant damage, this doesn't mean the Stand itself is physically strong, as its fire abilities could be the source of the destructive power.

SPEED: B - Hypersonic, many times faster than the speed of sound, but nowhere near the speed of light. will scoff at traditional firearms. (roughly mach 15)

RANGE: E - 2m

PRECISION: C - Not significantly more accurate than a human, *might* have issues with friendly fire in the most literal sense.

STAYING: C - Rougly on par with The World, don't take too many punches from an A ranked Destructive Stand.

LEARNING: B - Good capability for improvement, I guess. Most stands that manifest new abilties have A ranked Development.

Abilities:

Manhattan Transfer - Firestarter's main ability. It can exchange the 'heat' between two different objects as desired by one of two methods:

1. Direct Contact (either with Stand or User)
2. Using the "Laser Beacon" on its belt, as specified within the "Targeting" ability.
>>
>>27896433
[RUBY TUESDAY - USER: Mercuria Costello

STRENGTH: A* - Can easily punch holes through someone's torso, drop industrial vehicles on them, shatter boulders, or throwing chunks of vehicles at them. At this rank, can probably be used for anti-vehicle duty.

SPEED: C - Roughly comparable to a normal human, considering faster Stands can move many times faster than sound, is almost completely usessly is melee fight against another stand.

RANGE: D - about 5m

PRECISION: B - Not good enough to preform brain surgery with our Stand's bare fingers, but still superhumanly accurate. Our stand can flick stones/bullets to a range of 75-100m (Josuke almost hit a *rat* behind cover at 60m.)

STAYING: D - Has issues with durability, being used for long periods of time, or using the powers too often.

LEARNING: D - Ability to improve and evolve is almost nil.

ABILITIES -

Shine Bright (Like a Diamond): Ruby Tuesday has gemstones where her knuckles should go, in the following order, starting from the index finger's knuckle: Ruby (R), Emerald (E), Sapphire (S), and Topaz (T) (REST).

The "Right Hand Gemstones" are embedded unto an object (this does not harm the object) in order to 'select' them. The "Left Hand Gemstones", in the same order, are instead used to establish 'distance'.

[AWAKEN, MY HIGH LORDS]

"My Emperor...Macha shared some rather shocking information with me."

The Emperor nods. "Share it with me, Joachim."

"My Emperor...it appears that her sister's husband is human like us..."

The Emperor chuckles. "Ah, yes, LIVII. I am well aware of it. Quite honestly, I have a distaste for assassinations...however, I was already well aware of this, Joachim."

"That's not all, my Lord. That man, and his half-Eldar daughter...they carry the same Star-Shaped Birthmark as I do."

The Emperor's eyes widen, and you hear Mercuria gasp.

"Someone else with the Mark of Saint Jonathan?! And he's part of the Farseer's family? JoJo, are you certain?!?" Mercuria blurts out. Of course, this is a shocking development for anyone from Stella Platina...that there is someone with the Mark 'so far from the planet'...

"Humans and Xenos can have children?!" Titus' voice booms out in shock.

The Emperor's expression remains blank for a few seconds before a single tear rolls down his left cheek. Several others soon follow...the Emperor is crying! The spectacle sends waves of numbness throughout your body.

"Joachim...if this is true...then...this changes everything. One Joestar can only do so much, but two...perhaps you two, if you cooperate, can truly change the order of things..."

"My Lord!" The questions on the back of your head are howling, begging to be asked. "I must know...what is so important about my 'bloodline'? And why was I chosen for your holy mission?!"

(cont.)

"Joachim, the Joestar family has several times made the impossible possible, yet these great deeds have been all but forgotten by history. But I knew of them all. I knew that if something were to happen to me, the 'Joestar Family' would be the most reliable to trust the future to...and so, before I even became the Emperor of Mankind, I made sure that they would thrive 'somewhere'. Stella Platina was born from my efforts as well as those from an 'ally' as our 'insurance for the future'. We made sure that the Joestar lineage could thrive there, as well as hide valuable information and items that share an important link with your clan."

The 「SWF Report」 found on Stella Platina, which spoke of 'Stands'..."My Emperor, one of those documents has already been found."

"So I am aware, Joachim. Despite the fact most dismissed it as a 'story' or 'legend', it seems our 'enemy' is well aware of Stands, which makes them truly dangerous."

"...And if they're aware of Stands..."

"...They're aware of 'you' as well, Joachim."

The pieces of the puzzle started to piece themselves together. Carillion's Exterminatus order was not because of 'heresy', but rather 'who could be blamed of heresy'! This meant one thing...Hayes had to have links to this mysterious enemy!! But who? How? An Exterminatus order is a last-ditch resort...how can a Commissar, even if part of the 'enemy', find themselves able to request it, from the Inquisition no less?

That Inquisitor knew your name too...he had to be part of the enemy as well. So is the Inquisition as a whole the enemy?!

You had some of the pieces of the puzzle, but were still missing several others. You make a silent vow to uncover the truth, as the Emperor expects of you.

"Titus. The 'enemy' has kept their eye on you as well. The Zepelli family has been the ally of the Joestars for a long time...however, I'd never thought I'd see one live his life in Ultramar and become a Space Marine."

(cont.)
>>
>>27897668

"Farseer Macha." The Emperor diverts his attention to your companion. "My sincerest gratitude for your aid. We would not be here talking without your help."

"That's okay, Golden Boy. One could even say I enjoyed it. However..."

"My side of the bargain, yes. The 'important information' regarding your sister, Taldeer."

Macha nods, but her body becomes tense...no doubt bracing for whatever revelations could be coming.

"You wanted information on her Spirit Stone...however that will not be possible or necessary. Your sister Taldeer still lives."

Macha is petrified. Her body starts convulsing and shaking. Her knees give out. You instinctively react and hold her in order to stop her from falling. She's crying silently, a hand held over her lips, the tears like waterfalls.

"Farseer Taldeer, my Commanding Officer...still lives?" Criehr is shocked, too, by the revelation.

"Yes. The previous Chapter Master of the Blood Ravens, Azariah Kyras, thought she had tortured her to death...but this is not 'objectively true'! His senses were manipulated thanks to a Stand...in truth, my 'ally' intervened in order to save her. I did not understand his motives to do so, at least not until today. If LIVII is a Joestar, then...he probably has been keeping an eye on them."

"This 'ally', my Emperor...just who is he?" asks Rahman, seeking to sate his curiosity.

"His name is unimportant, but he has been around since the 3rd Millenium. He will give you the answers you seek. JoJo! I was already going to order you to aid Macha in order to find her sister and my 'ally', but I'm also giving you another objective! Find LIVII! He, too, shares the destiny of your blood!"

"My Emperor..." as you held the shaking Farseer, the words that escape your mouth next surprise you and everyone else, but not the Emperor. "even if you hadn't requested it, I would have gone and done it."

"Joestar!" Titus bellows. "Watch your mouth!"

(cont.)
>>
>>27897849

But the Emperor only smiles radiantly. "Well said, Joachim Joestar! I would expect no less of you!"

"My Emperor..." Titus protests. The Emperor waves a hand dismissively.

"Titus, I appreciate your loyalty to me, but from now on, I do not need 'followers'! Joachim's 'sense of justice' born from 'the heat of his beating heart'...this ascertains his 「Individuality」. I need 'sheep' no longer. My desire was always to see humans live like 'noble wolves'! To cut one's own path towards the future...that is a duty I know I can entrust to you all."

Rahman is the next to speak. "My Emperor...where shall we go next?"

"Kronus, my brave Psyker. It is there that you will find Taldeer, and with her, my 'noble confidant' as well. Head towards the Rhean Jungles within the planet. That's where I knew he was last."

"Macha..." you whisper silently to the Farseer, whom you are still supporting. "We'll find her. We'll help you find her." She nods weakly and regains her balance, wiping the tears away from her eyes, standing on her own two feet.

The Emperor already said not to cut Zola with the "pendant" since she'll get sick and die.

At this point, it's pretty obvious what Joachim's pendant is to those from the outside looking in.
>>
>>27898071

"My Emperor...I have one final question."

You show the Gauntlet to the ruler of all mankind. "I found this outside. It looks almost like a machine. I was wondering if, perhaps, you knew a little more about it."

The Emperor inspects the Gauntlet, but perplexed, can only respond in one way. "I honestly have never seen an armguard like this before. I'm sorry I cannot be of any assistance."

"I understand, my Lord. I will hold on to it on the meantime. Now, I just had one more question...do any other xenos races have the power to develop Stands?"

"So far, I only know of the Eldar developing Stands, aside from humans. However...I believe that as long as it exists within the 'realm of possibility', it most likely can happen."

"I understand, my Lord. We will take our leave."

(cont.)
>>

Yeah, what he didn't say is that she'll *never* be able to. Stands are pretty much crystalized willpower, with enough [Resolve] I'm sure she'd be able to survive an awakening.

The voyage towards Kronus does not take long, thankfully, as it is located within the Ultima Segmentum. You are glad that you are out of Ultramar's galactic space. It should be a lot harder to locate you now.

During the duration of the voyage, the 203rd's defectors were being drilled on the usage of Eldar weaponry by Yuu'yan and some other rather reluctant crewmembers.

"If they're going to lounge around here," Yuu'yan told you, "we might as well make them useful."

The plan to breach into Kronus was essentially the same as what was done in Ultramar. Get W.G. to the surface, warp there, hide the transport behind nearby space debris.

Zola was to stay behind (she was still tending to the wounds of the 203rd Guardsmen that had been hurt worst during the escape, after all), and it was finally decided that you should split into two teams to cover more distance, each with one of the W.G. tagging along.

Macha approaches you in private and, with no roos for argument, forcefully declares: "JoJo. I'm going with you."

That left just one more choice as to who would be in your party.

Goddamn Guardsman JoJo Quest, why does all this great shit happen while I AM AT WORK!?
>>
>>27898660 (OVERPOSE)

You request Titus' assistance, and soon enough both of the groups find themselves within the sea of tropical trees, each walking on their own direction, trying to find anything irregular.

After a few hours, you realize that this is going to take you nowhere...

But then, Titus stops, clutching his head.

"Captain?!"

"...I can...feel it."

A humanoid Stand appears behind Titus! Its body a dark shade of blue, and its 'face' is decorated by a yellow, stylized 'Thunder' insignia.

"This is my 'Stand'... 「Midnight Lightning」."

"Captain, that's great!" You excitedly proclaim.

"It can...manipulate and detect...energy? Yes, yes it can. Ah, I feel something strange. Eastward. Multiple releases of 'kinetic energy' in irregular locations."

"That sounds like our best lead so far, JoJo." Macha says. "We should go investigate."
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Your name is LIVII, and you are running. You carry your small, frail daughter on your arms, her dainty little arms wrapped around your torso.

"Get back here, Mon'keigh scum!!"

A shuriken pierces a nearby tree. You curse inwardly as the bullet hole seems to 'burst' towards you with tremendous force. You lose your balance and are sent sliding on the muddy ground.

"RONAHN!" you call out. "THIS IS POINTLESS!! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!!

"UNCLE, PLEASE! STOP!!" your daughter Lofn yells as well, between sobs and tears.

Your assailant seems to stop for a moment. "I'm sorry, Lofn. But if I don't make your bastard of a father pay for what happened to your mother, we will never know peace!"

Rolling on your back, you see he is slowly getting closer, as if savoring the moment. Shuriken Catapult on hand, you felt he was full of 'Killing Intent'...your brother-in-law wants to see you dead.

"It's your fault, accursed Mon'keigh...I trusted you to protect her, and you just let her die! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!! THAT SPIRIT STONE WASN'T EVEN HERS!! IT'S YOUR FAULT SHE WHO THIRSTS HAS TAKEN HER!!"

"RONAHN! SHE'S HERE! I GOT A MESSAGE FROM SOMEBODY!! TALDEER IS ALIVE!!"

"STOP LYING!! I'LL FINISH THIS HERE AND NOW, WITH MY 「GREAT GATSBY」!!"

You see a strange, disembodied, humanoid 'spirit' materialize behind Ronahn. It puts its hand on his shuriken catapult.

That 'spirit' was not unlike your own.

"「WAYWARD SON」!!"

The spirit rests its fist on you. You've placed a 「vector」 on your chest, an arrow pointing towards your upper body."

"Lofn...hold on!!"

The shuriken flies. But you fly, too, as the vector sends you hurling upwards. Your daughter screams as the speed takes you skyward. You break the ceiling of foliage, and can see the blue sky.

Your ability allows you to place 'vectors' in objects in the form of a diagram of an 'arrow'...this makes the object act as if a 「magnitude」 of force has been applied in that 「direction」. Hence, 'vectors'.

As you two fly through the air and start falling again, you realize that, while saving your life at that moment in time...this was perhaps not the best idea.

Holding tight to your daughter, you place another vector on you, and placing your body as horizontally as possible during the fall, you are launched backwards. You try to apply another vector with lower magnitude to go the opposite way and cancel your movement, but before you can, your shoulder meets the wooden trunk of a tree. You yelp out in pain as your bones crack and your left shoulder is dislodged from its socket.

Lofn's cries break you from the pain-induced trance of your injury. Family life has made you rather soft, hasn't it? Such an injury wouldn't have affected you so much before... and there was no time to feel pain. Ronahn was certainly on the prowl. When he finds you, he will not let up.
>>
>>27899159

A knot forms itself on your stomach. Fighting strangers was one thing, but this was your beloved's brother. Your child's uncle. He was part of your 'family', a concept so alien to you during the better part of your life.

You did not want to hurt Ronahn. But you could not leave Lofn fatherless, or Taldeer stranded. That 'message' you received claimed she was nearby...You'd take her back home. You'd take Lofn back home with both her mother and father.

You simply could not die here.

Your resolve swells within you. You had to fight Ronahn, and you had to survive.

Clutching your left shoulder with your right hand, you stand up shakily. "Lofn. Wait here."

He would certainly not hurt his niece. You knew this much. Ronahn, despite his temper, was a good, honorable man who'd rather die before see Lofn hurt.

That told you a lot about just how much hatred he must be feeling for you at this moment in time, too.

You spot a nearby tree perfect for an ambush, away from where Ronahn would be able to see Lofn (despite her not being in immediate danger, you would never use your daughter as 'lure'). You place another vector on yourself, propelling yourself upwards, and with your good arm, you grab onto the tree branches.

You lie in wait.

It is not long before you can see him. Great, he is not looking at you! It was time to ambush him!

...Wait...

His 'spirit' is looking at you! He is just pretending not to see you!!

You jump as the 'spirit' flicks a shuriken in your direction! The tree behind you becomes a messy cloud of splinters and wood!!

Ronahn is turning towards you!!

You place a vector on your right to speed your descent towards him!

The flying kick hits him square in the jaw!! He falls to the ground, as you are sent rolling through the dirt from the impact as well!!

His spirit looms towards you as he lays flat on his back! But yours has better range, so they meet close!

"ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORA!!" You and Wayward Son yell in unison.

"ARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARIARI" counters Great Gatsby.

The fists of both spirits clash faster than the eye can see! You can feel the impacts of such fists on your abdomen, but...you see an opening! Wayward Son's fist hits the side of Great Gatsby's head! Blood sputters from Ronahn's mouth as your impact lifts him off his back and sends him careening into another tree!!

You fall to your knee as the damage from the direct confrontation takes its toll on you. You are rather badly bruised...

"Not yet..."

Ronahn, always implacable, his eyes obscured his body is covered in 'crystals', as Eldar blood coagulates that peculiarly.

"I'm not...DONE YET!!"

He pulls out a Shuriken pistol at you!

"WAYWARD SON!!" Your spirit has a longer reach!! Swiftly, you place a vector on the gun.

Ronahn fires!

But as the shuriken flies towards you... it turns left instead, making a hole in a nearby tree, which explodes as well!

The shuriken pistol that was in Ronahn's hand, too, was affected by the 'vector', flying out of his hands.

"Ronahn." You walk towards the Ranger. "Let's stop this right now. Let's find Taldeer, together. I'm sure she'd be glad to see her brother as well..."

A fist meets the side of your face with incredible force. You are sent sliding through the ground...you start spitting blood, your vision obscured by more blood.

Lofn, Taldeer...please forgive me!!

"ORAAAAAA!!"

"ARIIIIII!!"

"STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!" Lofn yells.

The trajectory of both of your Stand's fists stop right in front of your faces. A standoff.

"AUNTIE MACHA IS HERE!! THERE'S NO REASON TO FIGHT ANYMORE!!"

Macha is her...URK!!

You look at your stomach.

It's a knife. A KNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

"RONAHN, WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST DO!!??!!" An older female voice yells as Lofn cries out in despair. The older voice...Macha.

"WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE LONG AGO!!"

He withdraws the knife as you fall. There is blood everywhere, splurging out, and soaking your clothes...this is the end...

...

...

------------------------------------------------------------------

Your name is Joachim Joestar, and you slide tackle an Eldar Ranger to the ground with the aid of Low Rider's ability. The bloodied knife finds it way to your left bicep, rending flesh and muscle as it pierces your skin. This does not stop you. You pin him to the ground, and straddle him with your legs.

You pummel his face with your right fist. "STOP." Left. "AND." Right. "FUCKING." Left "LISTEN. " Right "TO." Left. "THE." RIGHT. "LITTLE." LEFT. "GIRL!!"

His face is a mess of crystal and blood. His eyes are gazing nowhere in particular. He was still alive, but he had lost.

"Damn, JoJo." Macha approaches you. "You took the pleasure of beating the crap out of my idiotic little brother from me...you'll have to make up for that, eventually."

You just keep panting. Right! The 'other Joestar'!

"CAPTAIN!! HOW IS THE PRIMARY ASSET?!"

Titus yells back. "THE KNIFE MISSED HIS VITALS!! HE'LL LIVE!! I'LL JUST TRY TO STOP THE BLEEDING!!"

You look back at them, the little girl crying inconsolably into her father's chest.

You do not want to imagine what could have happened had you arrived a second later.

Some time later, LIVII regains consciousness to find your scarf firmly wrapped around his abdomen, in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

(You are sure your grandmother would approve, using it like that to save a life, and even more so with the possibility that he might be your next of kin).

The Ranger, Ronahn, was being taken care of by Macha and Criehr (the other half of the group being warped by W.G. to your location).

Did you hit him too hard? He has been catatonic for nearly an hour now...

"W-who?" asks LIVII as he awoke, only for his neck to be tightly coiled in his daughter's embrace.

"LIVII...what exactly brought you to this planet?" You had a pretty good idea as to 'why he was here', but you had to confirm regardless.

"A year or so ago, I received a message. 'Your wife still lives. Come to Kronus, she is waiting for you here.' I decided to risk everything on those words. I just did not believe she would have died just like that. So I decided to come. Getting here was the difficult part, though...but I'm finally here. Then, you know the rest."

"So...you know exactly where we can find her?"

"Yes. The message included the exact location. It's in the middle of the jungle...where the biggest tree in it should be located. I don't really understand the details, but I am supposed to go there."

[This is JoJo's Quest. 'That Gauntlet has no place here'. And yet, here it is. Perhaps you, as Joachim Joestar, have begun to find something behind the nature of the 'world' that you were not meant to know at first.]

You decide to check on the Eldar you had beat the tar out of...Ronahn, was it?

When you get to him, you notice Macha is pointing his spear directly at his neck.

"S-Stop it, Sister! You'd harm your kin for that piece of trash?!"

Macha just sighs exhasperatedly. "Don't be stupid, Ronahn. BOTH of you are family, and you're the one who's being a homicidal asshole, so..."

"...Sister, don't tell me you believe that insect's lies!!" Ronahn protests weakly.

"I didn't even know he was here! What's with you?! You were going to kill Lofn's father in front of her?!"

Ronahn's expression softens. "...That man has no place calling himself her father. She'd be better off without him."

"THAT'S NOT FOR YOU TO DECIDE, YOU IMBECILE!!"

The pinned Eldar Guardian shrinks.

"Even if Father was the way he was to me..." Macha yells, tears in her eyes. "DO YOU NOT THINK I WAS HEARTBROKEN WHEN I HEARD HE WOULD NOT BE COMING BACK?!"

"Sister..."

"THE SAME FATHER THAT SHIPPED ME OFF TO SOME FAR-OFF CRAFTWORLD!! THE ONE THAT ESSENTIALLY ABANDONED ME!! EVEN THEN, I CRIED...I cried..."

Macha falls to her knees, dropping her Spear. You kneel next to her, placing an arm around her shoulder.

Ronahn shoots you a dirty look. So dirty, it makes you feel filthy, even.

"LIIVI is...a good father." Macha mutters between sobs. "How could you try to steal him away from his little girl?!"

Screw that. You return the dirty look with a piercing one of your own. Ronahn falters, looking away (although you are certain it was for Macha's sake, not yours).

"...Anyways. Sister, why are you here?"

"Taldeer IS alive." Macha says, the tears slowly stopping.
>>
>>27903446

"WHY DOES EVERYONE HOLD THAT DELUSION!?" Ronahn blurts angrily. "I KNOW that Spirit Stone I got did not belong to her as that Mon'keigh bastard claimed...but that just makes things worse, damn it! We need to face reality!"

"Reality, you say...." Macha says between gritted teeth. "Did you not find it strange at ALL that you have Stand Abilities?!"

"Huh...Stand? Is that what that power of mine is called?"

"Yes. STAND. And it seems that Taldeer was SAVED by someone with a strange power like that."

"T-that's highly improbable!" Ronahn's rebuttal is soft and weak, as if desperately wanting to be wrong.

"We got the word of it from the Emperor of Mankind himself, Ronahn!!" you interject for the sake of Macha.

His face is stone serious for a moment, but Ronahn soon bursts into uncontrollable laughter. When he finally stops, he just gives you this sharp grin. "The CORPSE-GOD?! Man, you guys are more delusional than I thought!! Sister, you really ought to stop being around these lunatics! Their crazy is rubbing off on you!"

"Ronahn." Macha responds exhasperatedly. "STAND. POWER."

"Eh?"

You decide to explain,"The Emperor has a Stand, Ronahn. A Stand that allows for long-range communication with him."

"...I still don't believe any of the crap you are spewing, Mon'keigh."

"Listen, you...respectable person" you grow aggravated, as well. "How about we just go where LIVII was told to go, and THEN decide what to do? There's no harm in checking, right?"

"I still don't buy it."

...This man was definitely trying your patience.

"We're going. If you wanna stay there on the ground, you're free to do so." You say, standing up.

"...Fine. I'll go. But just for Sister Macha's sake."

After little deliberation, your party decides to move towards where LIVII was headed for in the first place. You offer the ex-assassin your shoulder for support, as your group advances forward.

Turning backwards, you see that Captain Titus has given Lofn a ride on his shoulder, and is vividly chatting with the young girl. You and LIVII share mutual smiles at this.

You soon arrive at the biggest tree in this jungle. its trunk almost cartoonishly thick.

However...there doesn't seem to be anything of interest around here, aside from the tree...nor anywhere Taldeer could be...

"I told you...I told you....to believe that she would still be alive..." but Ronahn is interrupted as a voice comes from above you.

"...Took you quite a bit to get here, Assassin. I also see you brought quite a few people with you."

In front of you lands a man, seemingly in his 40's, wearing strange clothing. His body and legs were clad in a matching white outfit with vertical black stripes. Upon his curly blonde hair sat an oddly simplistic black hat with all sorts of pins decorating it. One looked like a 'C', while another had the word 'CUBS' on it in red lettering inside a white circle with a blue outline. Another one seemingly depicted some sort of flying vehicle, and yet another had a badge with the number '1' inside of it. The last of the pins, though, seemingly depicted a white silhouette of a man holding some sort of blade or club upon a red and blue background.

"Who are you?" Rahman asks for all of you, as he takes a defensive posture.

"Are you...the one that sent the message?" LIVII asks.

"Yes. That was me." He stretches his hand toward the assassin who was using you for support.

"My name is Emporio Alniño. It's nice to finally meet you."

"Where is Lady Taldeer?!" You ask.

The man just smiles. "She's inside."

"Inside where?!" You cannot see anything that may seem as an entrance."Just who are you, really?!"

"Ah. Right. When I say inside, I meant 'inside one of my Stand Abilities', 「Burning Down the House」. She's in much better health nowadays than before, I must say. Oh, as for me? I was friends with one of LIVII's ancestors, tens of millenia ago."

"When you mean 'ancestors'...do you mean the Joestar family?" You ask.

"Correct. Do you know of them, lad?"

"My name is Joachim Joestar, Emporio Alniño."

Silence. Silence. Silence.

The huge smile finds its way onto the man's face as he places one hand on your shoulder, and one on LIVII's.

"Well, isn't this fan-tas-tic? Two Joestars? Come in, come in! Oh, and make sure to hold on to your friends, otherwise they won't be able to come in."

The man walks into the space between the roots, holding onto LIVII's arm...you follow suit, holding on to Mercuria as well as you and a chain of people somehow slide between the roots.

Within, you are in some sort of gigantic facility complex, metallic corridors as far as the eye can see...yes, this was definitely the result of 'Stand Power'.

"Welcome to my 「Burning Down the House」!! It used to be just a room back in your ancestor's day, but I found how to make it bigger. It just so happens that people who stay within these 'Ghost Rooms' do not age...and I can carry the 'Ghost Rooms' with me. That's how I've lived so long, in case anybody was wondering."

"Hey, is that..."

"Sister...?"

"Mommy...?"

A feminine voice you had never heard before spoke. "LIVII? Lofn? ...Macha...? ......Ronahn?"

"Mommyyyyyy!!" Little Lofn runs towards the mother she had not seen in so long, being drawn into a tight, tearful embrace.

"Lofn...oh, Lofn...I had missed you so much..."

"...Is this real? Is this really real?" You hear Ronahn mumbling almost incoherently next to you and LIVII."
>>
>>27904989

"...LIVII, Ronahn...what's with those wounds?"

"Err..." Ronahn stammers.

"...He and I just run into our fair bit of trouble getting here. That's all. Isn't that right, Ronahn?" LIVII elbows Ronahn on the side in a wordless gesture.

"R-Right!" The Ranger adds.

That was one way to look at it, at least.

It seems your 'mission' is advancing, if little by little. This man, Emporio Alniño...he no doubt could give you direction regarding your 'enemy'.

You would have to borrow the strength of everyone to succeed. And you WILL succeed.

[TO BE CONTINUED.]

LIVII is Jotaro's direct descendant.
>>
>>27907832
More like direct descendant of one of Joseph's *many* bastard children.

In this case it seemed to have been the implication that they were actually descended from Jolyne rather than her distant cousin

>Emperor literally just got done telling us to be nice to our eldar pals

No anon, YOU ARE THE HERETIC.
>>
>>27908263
Oh, I thought that the most likely people would've been 'Guy known to have affairs" Joseph, and "Son of megaslut Dio Brando, and bishi Mafia boss" Giorno.

I kinda figured Jolyne would be the least likely due to being in prision and all, but hey, if it worked for Diavolo's mom...

>>27908885
well yeah, as I said in above post, Jolyne having progeny would require her not having bought it during her run as The Jojo.
I suppose Joseph fits occam's razor here.
Giorno is possible, but I somehow doubt that the remaining Joestar clan is half Brando, not to say s̶he couldn't have had kids.

Pfffff, if he was, he'd be too busy drawing manga to bother to lead humanity.

"Rohan, you've got to stop doing manga already and bring humanity into a new age!"

"DAGA, KOTOWARU!"
