You are Reinhold, master swordsman and victor of the Royal Swordsmanship Tournament. The King was so impressed with your skill, he personally requested that you be transferred out of the army and into the Royal Guard! Not bad for an orphan who was raised in a brothel in a poor fishing village.

The only issue at this point is your assignment... you've been charged to be the personal guard of the King's only daughter Marianne. While she is the vision of loveliness that you'd expect from a Princess, her personality is... well... she seems to be RATHER unpleasant.

You watched the Princess argue with Sir Gregory, volunteered her to dance with you, sat through mindnumbingly boring etiquette lessons, and pretty much FORCED her to accept that you actually like being around her.

After a rather destructive display in the training yard, Sylvie taught you a new spell- Aqua Suspend! After using it to fail at filling up a bucket, you headed to your room, read a book, and went to sleep.
>>
>Total MP: 39/49

>you learned one spell!
>Aqua Suspend
>Cost: 2MP
>Effect: Forms a floating orb of water. The base is pea-sized, though it can range up to the size of a watermelon. It's possible to cast the spell multiple times and combine the water orbs, though this takes practice.
>never go thirsty again!

>you got one scroll!
>Sanctuary
>Cost: 20MP
>Effect: Forms a stationary invisible barrier around a single target, ranging from the size of a small shack at minimum to an unspecified maximum. Nothing with the intent to harm the target can enter the affected area, and all attacks will be deflected. The barrier itself is unbreakable, and only loses effect when the target leaves its area.
>the strongest defensive spell!

>Guard Rank: CAT
>Congratulations, you are now an annoying CAT!
>Not one of those fancy pedigree cats, but rather a mangy stray.
>The Princess now kind of likes you a little!
>But she still doesn't consider you to be a person.

life isn't that bad i guess
>>
>>27799857
it's pretty sweet actually, we have a few friends, and overall no assholes around us.
>>
So there were some people who wanted to do a timeskip now, and others who wanted to play out through the rest of the next day because they wanted to watch Marianne's reactions to the previous day's events.

While I myself would prefer to run through another day before doing a timeskip, I said that I'd leave it up to you all and so I shall.

As such, there be two basic options:

>play through the next day, skip later
>do the time warp again to two weeks later
>>
>>27799846
do we get a "spell book/spell known sheet" QM? or is all spells remembered once learned?

Play through to next day. It feels a little meh to skip the better part of a month we could spend working on relationships and bettering Reinhold but pacing wise it's definitely time for a big event.

Definitely.

We need to speak with Nico and Slyvie about why they started distancing themselves from her. We've partially heard marie's side where she doesn't hold them ill will and still actually cares for them.
>>
Is the village that Reinhold was raised in on a well known road? It seems very unlikely that there would be an actual brothel in a 'poor fishing village.'

>>
>>27799902

>>
>>27800084
I live in 'poor farming town' in Nevada and there's a giant billboard advertising a Brothel a few miles out right in front of my house.

Of course, it's along a major highway so I guess your point still stands.
>>
>>27799937
Want me to take care of it? I'm already on pastebin duty for another quest, one more wouldn't be hard.
>>
>>27799846

Archelon, a question.

Regarding sanctuary, can outsiders see inside it?

Can those inside see outside it?
>>
>>27800149
I actually have a file in notepad with everything up, I just need to do some touching up and then it'll be good. Thanks for offering, though.

>>27800153
It's totally invisible, full sight both ways. Outsiders don't know it's there until they try hitting the person inside.

There is a bit of a glowing boundary for those inside, to see where its safe.
>>
>>27800225

Pity.

Otherwise it might have been useful for a false objective while the princess runs.
>>
>>27800225
what happens to someone with harmful intent if they are within the boundary of the spell when it is cast? are they forcibly removed, pushed back or turned into a fine pink mist?
>>
>>27800378
They're free to carry on with said harmful intent.
That's the main drawback of the spell- you better be damned sure that the area you're designating is safe before casting it.
>>
You sit up in your bed, fully rested. As you stand up and look out your window, you see that it's maybe twenty minutes before sunrise. Deciding not to waste any time, (and because you feel kind of grimy thanks to last night's rocksplosion), you quickly get bathed and dressed. After that's done with, you head to your door to start the new day.

>where do you go?
>>
>>27800406

And its a one shot right?

Can it be dispelled by the caster?
>>
>>27800440
Niklaus
>>
>>27800440

Head to our meeting place.

As the maids walk by, attempt to do quick sketches based on impressions and memory.

Do mental and sketching training. It'll help memory retention, quickness of pen and be an amusing sight.

>>
>>27800447
One usage per castin, yes.
It stays around until the target either leaves the area of effect or dies.

...and I forgot to say, the caster can't be the target.
>>
>>27800505
Alright, which person did you want to sketch?
>>
>>27800505
yes we are. He had something for us to do before, but everyone's pussy hurt too bad to do it. We should build up a credit for future magic teaching. Also, he gives small advice for free, so more interaction with him is good.
>>
>>27800490
Yeah, let's see what Niklaus is up to.
>>
>>27800484
I think what you're referring to is gesture drawing. It's not about impression and memory, it's about capturing the human form in the simplest way possible.
>>
>>27800571
well, drawing marianne would get us in trouble, even if it'd be easier as we see her a lot.
so nicolette, as we already draw her once
>>

>>27800610
Nah, we shouldn't draw things we've drawn before. That's how we get in a rut. Just sketch someone we never sketched but are sure they'd be cool with us sketching them, like Sir Vincent, he's a bro. Or we could sketch the princess from memory then burn the paper afterwards. No evidence.
>>
>>27800665
oh, QM, can we take the books with us and read while we wait for the princess?
>>
>>27800577
He was going to use Reinhold in the experiment with the those parasites he wrecked the books over, which would have made Gerhard upset with Reinhold as well. I think Rein was well out of it.

>>27800610
I think a picture of Marianne made from memory would be something to do once Reinhold's gotten good.
>>
>>27800696
I don't think it was that. He said that they failed all attempts at feeding on humans.
>>
>>27800730

Still, the experiment looked like it failed.

Don't want to be the subject of a failed experiment.
>>
>>27800567
hold on, all the descriptions of sanctuary so far specify "attacks". Does that include "attackers"? Or can they just walk through it and stab you?
>>
>>27800691
I don't see why not, if that's what you want to do.
Carrying more than one book around is a no-go, though.
>>
>>27800754
attacks, attackers, people with ill intent who try to walk through the barrier without attacking, it's all deflected.
>>
>>27800754

>No one with hostile intent can enter
>>
>>27800689

Nah don't burn them.

Its more amusing when she finally wants to see what rein sketched and hes doing his best to say no.
>>
>>27800786
But what if it isn't a matter of hatred or violence or trying to do you harm. What if they just want to kill you, not because of you, but just because they want to kill you.
>>
>>27800822

Intent to kill is intent to kill.

Regardless of emotional state.

Also:
>>27800785
>>

>>27800822
"i'm gonna kill whatever" and "I'm gonna kill that guy" will get blocked the same.
>>
>>27800822
That's still ill intent.
>>
>>27800822
If their intent is still to cause harm then it is hostile
>>
>>27800746
some one should point out that "questionable human exprimenting with possable lethal results" that Niklaus is wanting to do. that worries me, a lot.
>>
>>27800870
It's not necessarily to cause harm. It's just an action that's going to result in someone dying.
>>
>>27800786
ah, my bad, didn't see that
>>

Seriously?
Continuing the cockroach metaphor here for a second.
Theres a cockroach, and you hit it with a rolled up newspaper/spray it to death/ feed it to your snapping turtle.
It doesnt matter what you think of it, the end result is that when you began your interactions with said cockroach, you were intending harm.
Even if you dont believe you did for whatever reason, it was harmed specifically because of your actions and intent.
I honestly dont know how else you could percieve this.

You make a quick stop at your desk to grab your sketchbook and a few pencils, and also check to make sure that your map copy is still there (it is). With preparations out of the way, you head out into the hallway and down the stairs, wandering around until you hit an area with lots of activity.

Maid activity.

Figuring that this is as good a subject as any, you spend the next twenty minutes or so doing quick sketches of the maids as they flit to and fro, dusting the fixtures, carrying buckets, and go about their maidly business. A few cut you a few glances and giggle as you draw, but you're able to finish your sketches without any interruptions.

The art bug finally having left you (for now), you flip through the drawings that you just did... and they're pretty alright. Nothing special, but nothing awful, and you're pretty secure in your belief that you're actually getting better at this whole drawing thing.

Nodding to the few maids who stuck around to observe you as you create ART, you stick your sketchbook in your breast pocket, put your pencils away, and head off.

You pull out your pocketwatch to make sure you're not late... and it's 7:05. Plenty of time before you have to meet the Princess. With a sigh of relief, you ponder what to do next...

...and you decide to go try and find Arnaud. The Princess did say that he'd most likely be in charge of whatever you'd be wearing for the upcoming ball, and you might as well find out what that is beforehand.

You walk along, scanning the hallways for the old butler. You pass by a library, a meeting room, a maid that's being scolded for dropping a vase, another library... before you know it, you find yourself around the vicinity of the armory.

And there he is, walking towards you!

"Ah, good morning!" Aranud says, waving at you.
"Good morning, Arnaud," you reply.

Should we storm our brains about stuff t hat should happen in the time skip?

The basics:
Train our swording
Read a bit
Maybe draw
Learn some magic - a new spell or two during the timeskip would be perfectly appropriate

I also think we should get a proper tube for our sanctuary scroll that can hand from our belt.
>>
So what are we going to get out of the time skip? I assume our relationships status will remain the same. It's just a couple of weeks right? I think we should have continued our magic training to the point where we can do one base level spell from each element. And maybe work on our art. And done some reading ie. memorized the relevant city maps to places we will be going.
>>
>>27802563
We'll probably just accrue a few pluses, but I doubt we'll get any hidden flags with them or anything.
>>
>>27802557
As long as we can draw Nico then I'm fine with this
>>
>>27802557

I'd suggest train drawing and memorising the map by constantly copying it and burning it once we have it down pat.

And then perhaps learning Wind Shield. Thats the single most important spell we need in our close protection duties.
>>
>>27802557
our sword training cant get that much better without adding magic... or whatever the hell that rock punch was.
>>
>>27802604

This sounds like a good idea.

While keeping up training and MP practices.
>>
>>27801518
So it can't be used as an anti-monique shield, and if we make new rivals it's useless for that too. But that would be unsporting too, and a waste of a tool given to us with an implicit purpose.
>>
>>27802638
A punch? No, we need a seismic sword blow. Presumably a shield-splitting lunge.
>>
>>27802604
this and art practice. At some point we are going to draw the princess and it needs to be the best picture anyone has ever seen... Or else.
>>
>>27802710
This is exactly what I was thinking. learn the punch and use it with the sword. but it might take more than a few weeks.
>>
>>27802772
I think we'd need to modify the spell to use it with a sword.

And it's definitely more than a few weeks, considering it's something Sylvie just learned and she used to show off to us.
>>
My connection's gone all retarded, I apologize if my replying is even slower than usual.

>>27802673
It's a spell designed to protect others, as opposed to oneself.
>>
>>27802772
Hell, if we can get it to the point that it just destroys the sword we can use conjured swords to deliver the attack.
>>
>>27802772
I think it's worth devoting a couple weeks to doing that.

I mean really, who expects you to hit them with a sword that explodes? It just doesn't happen. Nobody will see it coming. It'll be wonderful, just straight up explode the shit out of somebody by hitting them with a sword.

"Did you need anything from me?" Arnaud asks, bowing.
"I was actually wondering about a few things..." you say.
"Well, there's no need to be shy," Arnaud replies, smiling. "All you need to do is ask!"
"Alright, um... I was wondering if you could maybe take me on as a disciple?" you ask nervously.
"...oh?" Arnaud stares at you for a few moments, and then bursts out in laughter. "Hahaha! I never would have expected you to ask me that, of all things!"

"Er... should I not have?" you ask.
"No, no..." Arnaud replies, still chuckling. "It was just unexpected, that's all. The last person to ask me to take them on as a disciple was Gerhard, you see..."
"W- what? Gerhard!?" you stare at Arnaud in shock. "I figured that he was more than just a butler, but I didn't exect him to be a swordsman too..."

upon hearing your response, Arnaud starts laughing again.

We like our sword, canonically, even if we the players don't care yet since archelon is holding its backstory back. Also, it's far more efficient for us to explode someone's shield or armor. If we're going to explode a sword it should be after it's already pierced through their heart, for things that don't go down easy.

>>
>>27802834
My disagreement with your points comes from our job description.
We are a bodyguard not a front line murder machine.
We should tune our swordwork and magic to make it impossible to kill somone we are protecting.
Parry anything, the ability to cut script, deflection spells. Not massive explosions that could potentially endanger our charge
>>

I think thats the wrOng way to go about it.

She knows we draw and that we draw portraits of others. She must be asking why we dont ask to draw her and her conclusion might have been that we dont like her, at least prevously.

We cant wait till we're perfect.
>>
>>27802894
I was thinking channeling the exploding awesomeness through the sword. ie. everything we cut blows the fuck up.
>>
>>27802928
Yeah, but if we were going to channel it like that I think we'd probably have to modify it. to be channelable. Either that, or make our sword really an extension of our body in the magical sense, which may or may not even be a thing. Otherwise, we'll have to just use a seismic first to defeat heavy armor and give a swording advantage.

".........oh." you reply, feeling kind of dumb.
"As for your request... I'm afraid to say that I'm not really the type to take on disciples... I'd be happy to assist you in improving your skills, however," he says with a smile. "I did the same thing for Sir Gregory when he was your age, and I dare to say that he turned out rather well..."

"You did?" you ask, surprised.
"Yes, he was still every bit as gloomy as he is now, unlike you... but aside from your base dispositions, you're actually quite similar," Arnaud replies, stroking his beard. "And it wouldn't be a bad thing to have a third swordmage here in the castle..."

"...as for your request, I think that I could manage to squeeze you into my schedule after tomorrow," Arnaud says. "We'll start with getting rid of your bad habits, and then we can move on to the more... advanced things. Like Conceptualizing while taking an enemy's attack."

every one was talking about how there aren't any earth/metal magic spells that are good for a bodyguard. There has to be a metal spell that weakens steel. ie. bad guy attacks and all his weapons and armor become as strong as cardboard. or a quick sand spell. or a handcuffs out of nowhere spell.

Hell we could make that stone shield or stone wall spell to slow down attackers, that spell that Sylvie used to obliterate our shield was her dads own invention and we know that if Vincent made it up and it took Sylvie that much effort to learn it then it doesn't seem likely that we will find too many enemies in the regular course of things that can smash through them like that

And when we do come up against enemies who can then it still slows them down momentarily while we shuffle the princess off somewhere else safe

Upon seeing the wicked smile that formed on Arnaud's face when he said that last thing, you shudder a bit... but you're still -quite- grateful that you've finally found someone to help you improve your swordsmanship.

"Um, and the other thing..." you begin, "the Princess said that you were probably going to be in charge of whatever it is that I'll be wearing at the ball in Marconetti?"
"Ah, yes!" Arnaud claps his hands together. "Young Emilio's birthday party! I really wish that I could have gone, but I'm sure that he'd be happy to see Gregory as well..." he sighs. "...but I digress. I've already gotten your measurements from Mr. Niklaus, and will be picking something out for you to wear shortly."

"Oh, cool. Just wanted to make sure," you reply.
"And then once your clothing comes in from the tailor, I'll have Niklaus enchant them and you'll be good to go!" Arnaud says, smiling. "Was there anything else you were wondering about?"

To be fair the princess didn't give us much to work with today.

Any response that involved talking more about sketching was doomed to fail by being either creepy, predictable, or both.

What we ended up with wasn't our masterwork but was decent enough for the setup we got. At the very least we're keeping the streak alive.

Anyway

"So, um... is there a reason why you don't take magic classes anymore?" you ask. "Last night, Nicolette said that you two used to take them together."
"Hm?" the Princess turns to you. "I was told that I had a fair amount of talent at it, but I never had much interest in it. And then my days became filled with things like etiquette and ballroom dancing, so it's not like I really have much time for it," she sighs.

"...oh," you reply. "Um, what classes -do- you like anyways?"
"You're actually...?" the Princess raises an eyebrow in surprise, and then sighs. "Despite Sir Gregory's temperament, I find his lectures to be interesting for the most part. And due to his... unique position, he's rather knowledgable about foreign affairs, though you wouldn't know it from his personality."

"The class I enjoy most is literature, though I have that one the least frequently since it's not as directly important as the others," the Princess says, sighing.
"Oh yeah, you do read a lot..." you reply.
"Yes. As for the opposite side, I'm sure that you can tell that I in no way enjoy ballroom dancing. While Pauline is a kind lady, dancing is... I really don't like it," she sighs. "But I'm forced to because of my duties."

Before the Princess can say anything else, several butlers arrive in the dining hall and place a plate of pancakes in front of both of you. Bowing deeply, they then hurry out of the room.

Alright like rule number one guiding principle of interacting with the princess while on duty (which is any time we are interacting with the princess):

We do not ask the princess to do things for us. We do things for the princess when she asks us. Our job is to take care of her and not the other way around.

>>
>writing
>>
>>27805059

Thats exactly why asking to sketch her is so important.

No one else has asked her for stuff unrelated to her duties or her daddy.

This is a step that show we see her as more than a vvip and a person, a friend.
>>
>>27805081
By making her fall in love with us and then being her partner during the lessons.
What? I am sure she'd enjoy them very much then.
>>
>>27805096
An owner or a master, i'd say, since she sees us as a cat
>>
>>27805096
>Thats exactly why asking to sketch her is so important.
I'm not talking about asking to sketch her. Just to show her the sketches we made that she feigned an interest in.
>>
>>27805121
We should show the maids so they can fawn over our talent.
>>
>>27805096
>asking to sketch her is so important.

Asking to sketch her is tantamount to suicide.

We are young male soldier of ignoble birth guarding a young female princess with an overprotective father and half a dozen overprotective caretakers that could crush us like a tiny ass bug. There are clearly defined lines governing what is acceptable behavior in our position and that crosses several of them.
>>
>>27805081
Our tortured expression of pain as pauline dances with us is surely very fun for her.
When she builds up a tolerance for that pauline can switch to the more intimate
Kinds of dancing.
>>
>>27805143
I think the main benefit of Reinhold being interjected into her lessons is that any time Pauline is dancing with us, she's not dancing with the Princess.
>>
>>27805143
>>27805081
how about we make her pretend she hurt her ankle right before the dance lesson and sacrifice ourselves while she just sits and watches us dance?

>>
>>27805081
Easy.

Voluntarily throw our self under the Pauline demonstration bus so that she can watch as we suffer.
>>
>>27805202
We already told Gerhard about it and he told us to burn it after we memorized it.
>>
>>27805220
I meant, we've currently have the map lying in our desk, day in and day out. I think keeping it with us will be safer than simply leaving it in an empty room.

Before you CONSUME your pancakes, you turn to the Princess.

"Um... what kind of books do you like?" you ask.
"Mgh?" Princess Marianne swallows the piece of pancake that she was eating, and turns to you. "You're actually interested in my taste in books?"
"It's why I asked," you reply, shrugging.
"I'd almost forgotten that you're..." she sighs and then takes another bite of food before turning back to you. "I like fiction," she says. "Brave heroes fighting evil, that kind of thing. I've enjoyed them ever since I was a little girl and Father would take me on his knee and tell me about the adventures he had with my uncle, Sir Vincent and their friends. Luciana is the same, her father used to tell her about the battles that he fought together with Arnaud and Nicolas."

Looking a bit happier, the Princess then resumes eating her breakfast. You do the same, and the pancakes are quickly cleared from your plate.

"Let's get going..." Princess Marianne says as she gets up from her seat.

You then follow her out of the dining hall, and the two of you walk silently through the hallways... until you hear a loud crash and the sound of guards... cheering?

"...what's going on there?" the Princess asks as she stops and looks in the direction that the sound came from.

We should tell her that the two of us should get good enough at ballroom dancing that we don't have to think about it, so at the very least we can have natural conversations while doing so. "...if you want to..." the Princess replies.
"Alright, lets go. But keep behind me just in case."
"That was my intent from the beginning," the Princess says, sighing.

Following the sound of several more crashes, you and the Princess gradually make your way to the training hall, the door of which is blocked by a massive crowd of guards.

"Hey," you say, tapping the shoulder of the guard closest to you, "What's going on?"
"Wha?" the guard turns to face you, and he recoils in fear. "R- Reinhold!? Aw shit, now it's really going to some shit here..."

"Uh... what?" you reply, confused by the string of profanities that you just heard.
"You know Niklaus, that creepy fucker? Sir Vincent's daughter just called him out!"
"...what." your face goes pale. "Why!?"
"He went and pissed off that scary librarian guy, so she got all mad and went to make him apologize!"
"Yeah, I know about that," you reply.
"Shit, but you didn't know..." the guard sighs. AND THEN SHE ACTUALLY TOOK HIM UP ON IT!"

"What? Why!?" you shout. Niklaus is the one who's teaching Sylvie magic in the first place, there's no way she'd ever stand a chance in an actual fight with him...
"She was really pissed, man. I was just passing by, but I saw the entire thing." the guard replies.
"Then why didn't you stop her!?" you shout.
"Dude, she's fucking scary too! I saw how she laid you out last night! Anyways, Niklaus isn't even really fighting her, he said that she wins if she can get a clean hit in before he gets bored."

"...yes, that sounds like him..." the Princess chimes in from behind you.

"Wha- why!?" you shout.
"Niklaus knows better than to do anything stupid inside this castle," she replies. "Though he's quite eccentric, he's always very careful when not experimenting. And also..."
"Also what?" you reply, now more than a little bit annoyed.
"Sir Vincent won their fight back then. Niklaus has been afraid of him ever since, and he'd never do anything to actually put Sylvie at risk. He's probably just using her to relieve his boredom."

"So what, you're saying that we should just ignore this?" you shout.
"Not at all," the Princess says as she clears her throat. "ROYAL GUARD, LET US THROUGH!" she shouts.

The cheering guards immediately freeze in unison, slowly turning to face the Princess.

"AS YOU WISH, YOUR HIGHNESS!" they shout in unison as they make a pathway for the two of you to walk though.

"Things should turn out fine, but you hae my permission to interfere if you think that she's in danger," the Princess says as she pulls you along. "In any event, I'd like to see how far Sylvie has progressed..." she says to you, smiling.

We need to intervene. Should let us see how swords vs magic turns out. If necessary use Sanctuary on Sylvie to prevent any massive damage.

Very true.

Are you trying to tell me you haven't figured out that he wasn't interested in the books at all, and that he was just using the books as a potential delivery vector to infect unsuspecting test subjects for his crystal research?

And he'd probably have gotta away with it too, if not for Gerhart.

The Princess lets go of your hand when you make it to the entrance to the training hall. Looking inside, you see...

...that the entire place is wrecked. Even worse than it was last night. There are rock and ice formations sprouting everywhere, and several craters gouged throughout.

"Not bad, not bad!" Niklaus says, leisurely sitting on the edge of a piece of ice that's jutting from the wall. "But even with your impressive reserves, you're sure to run out before you can even make me break a sweat!"

"S... shut up!" Sylvie shouts. "You're not going to throw me off with your taunts, I'm already really mad!" she says as she cracks her knuckles and tosses off her torn hat. "I'm Sylvie Roseline Granache, daughter of Sir Vincent Granache, third in line to the throne!" she points at Niklaus. "I'm going to punch you in your stupid face just like my father did and make you apologize to Mr. Gerhard!"
"Sorry, but I'm not into masochism!" Niklaus taunts. "Or apologizing!"

"Heh, she's as stubborn as ever..." Princess Marianne says, a wide grin on her face. "She never says her full name like that except when she's really angry."

Duel has rules

but ask the princess:
"So whos gonna win?"

maybe make small inconsequential bet with her.
>>
>>27805797
>be quiet and watch

Don't want to distract Sylvie or remove the Princesses' source of amusement.
>>
>>27805797

Time to watch.
>>
>>27805797
>be quiet and watch
only sensible option, really.
>>

We better be damn ready to intervene, though.

We choose the option that doesn't make us a white knight.

This.
>>
>>27805822

Do it
>>
>>27805797
Remain put for the moment, Niklaus seems true to his word so far.

maybe call out to Sylvie to regain her composure, she's not going to overcome the crafty wizard with brute force.
>>
>>27805797
Be quiet and watch.
Best grill is gonna roast him.
>>
>>27805797
Shout encouragement and advice to Sylvie.

Make a small bet with the Princess, put a bit of cash on Sylvie.
>>
>>27805846

"Bash his face in, Sylvie!"
>>
I feel like one of the Hansen's watching Gipsy and Leatherback fight.

"KICK HIS ARSE SYLVIE!"

Calling it a night here, guys.
I actually should have went to sleep an hour ago, but yay slow writing.

No, no wait.

"Remember, his weakness is his shoes!"

Just to try to throw him off a bit.

I would love for us to be able to perform a spell sunder or absorb ability, but considering niklaus capacity our sword would probably only nick anything he cast....
>>
>>27805975
This is why you just punch him in the face before he can cast magic. The wizard cannot cast magic if you disable his brain.
>>
I say if Sylvie win this fight, she is officially best girl.
>>

Jury is still out on both counts.

Nah, bro. It's always been sword
>>
>>27805996
Im fairly certain the shock of hearing a sword go thunk against script would cause him to stop what hes casting, forget everything else, and start studying the event. Then sylvie punches him into next week

PRINCESS CONFIRMED FOR MEGALEWD

>Interfering with a duel

Don't you do it

Don't you dare fucking do it

nope

Not even here

Not even now

Don't you dare fucking interfere with a duel
>>
>>27806648
oh god, someone needs to shoop Sylvie on top of Gipsy and Niklaus on Leatherback, and CHINhold and the princess over the Hansens
>>
We should cheer for Sylvie. With our encouragement she'll be able to break the laws of reality.
>>
>>27806913
Either that or we'll distact her at a critical moment and get her skewered.

Trust her to do her thing.
