>I've been swallowing blood for the last two hours. Let's do this shit.

You are nothing.

You are a left over character from a plot that has been so thoroughly hijacked that the story is starting to fall apart from trying to keep up. At this rate, soon this whole story will unravel, and everyone in it will dissolve. Which is not altogether

You need points though. To survive on to the next story. So, it can't dissolve. Yet.

To accomplish your ends, you've recruited the old protagonist, Anon-kun, grabbed Riritu, and now cornered Leopold in private to bring him to your side.

Konoko still is not aware of your presence. Rookie that she is, she's still sitting in the high class restaurant, waiting for the story to come to her. She'd never heard of the term 'character driven' before evidently.

"So," Leopold stands stiffly away from you, clearly trying to regain his composure. Not looking at you, "What do you want to be? A hero? A villain?"
"Konoko's going to need to stay alive," You walk to the sink, to spit in it, "The narrative's already off kilter. Could bring back Anon as the protagonist, but-"
"You loathe him."
"Not as much as you, but yes," You walk to the bathroom door, peek through. Konoko's still sitting, staring down at her plate. Sweating bullets, "You have a gun? You were going to take her out and have an assassination attempt, right?"
"Yes...But then she brought the world alignment up," Leopold sighs, "I don't want to be a reoccurring villain."
"Too bad you didn't know how to manage her better," You look away from Konoko, scan the rest of the room. Can't see Riritu or Anon from here.

Time to decide a course.

>Your move.

As ridiculous as the story we've included is, I think completely trashing it would damage the Narrative Health even more.

We've gotta re-incorporate the nonsense somehow.

Mahou No Sportsman, you guys. Come on.
>>
>>27730056
We tell Leopold the basic premise of Maho no Sportsman. After he knows what's going on, we're going to go do the first scene, which is going to ensnare Konoko into this story. Anon-kun and Riritu can be filled in on their respective roles later.

Let's get this thing back on rails.
>>
>>27730056
"Before I do anything else, I'll need that stupid girl over there to acknowledge me.

It was to that end that I tried to foil your shooting attempt, only it turns out that you weren't planning on shooting her in the first place, and she didn't notice anyway.

So we might need a repeat performance. I know you'd prefer for a more background role, but we're all going to do stuff we'd rather not."
>>
announce that she's conditionally accepted: on a team with us and anon. If we swing this right, we can put you in a position of power over her (her manager) while also shoehorning us in as the teammates she doesn't want to deal with but has to.
>>
>>27730232
Let's play it fast and loose. The more we explain a plan the least likely it is to succeed.
>>
>>27730056
(forgot to quotelink)
announce that she's conditionally accepted: on a team with us and anon. If we swing this right, we can put you in a position of power over her (her manager) while also shoehorning us in as the teammates she doesn't want to deal with but has to.Try to sneak that into the contract before she knows so that she's bound by it with no legal recourse
>>
>>27730287
That's why we keep it basic. All we need to tell Leo is that we're doing a Magic-Themed Sports Story from now on. He's still part of an evil organization, and we're going to try to stop him from doing harm to Konoko. We'll throw the rest together as we get there, but we all know the basic premise by now, right?
>>
>>27730232
Also inform him of why we're doing it. Happy people are not-murderous people, and Deadoko is still out there, being very murderous indeed.

She needs a role, and Leo needs a reason to have killed her in story without setting that idiot Anon off. Because if anyone dies its probably going to end up biting us in the ass somehow. Deadoko isn't quite desd, after all.
>>
>>27730267
>>27730307
I don't think shifting to a normal sports story is a valid tactic, there's too much elements we've shoved in to be neutralized.
>>
>>27730320
Yes, this.

>>27730324
Mahou no Sportsman! It's a magical sports show. Against B-Ballin' Demons, Soccer Skellies, and Handegg Hellhounds.
>>
>>27730320
Let's not explain the Deadoko thing until we check in with her first.

Plans can be modified.

...How? Right when it just started? Thank you, by the way. Saved.

So, try to explain to Leopold plan Mahou no Sportsman quickly, set it up that you save Konoko from Leopold?
>>
think along the lines of Tiger And Bunny and a lot of other comedies where the main character pisses off/ gets pissed off at somebody they meet in the prologue, and then comedically find out that that person is their teammate now.
>>
>>27730345
We should explain it to Leo at least.

Hes the one with the biggest stake in the whole thing, seeing as he killed her.
>>
>>27730358
Yes, yes, yes!
>>
konoko KNOWS that he's currently our NPC, so saving her from him is not going to get the backstabbing bitch on our side.
>>
>>27730359
But we're a cheerleader. And Konoko will know it's due to our scheming.
>>
she'll just discover in-character that we were plotting against her together. And worse, she'll discover it out of character too.
>>
>>27730358
Sounds good to me. We need her alive, and she needs us to stay alive. The sooner she realizes this, the better
>>
>>27730390
No she doesn't, she's really not that smart.
>>
>>27730358
More or less. Give him the gist of it and start the ball rolling. He pretty much just needs to know his role as an Evil Opposing Manager at this point, and what the overall idea is.
>>
>>27730390
But hes not an npc. Hes sentient.
>>
>>27730412
How about we don't directly tell him to fake shoot her, but kind of indirectly imply it in a way that doesn't tip off the narrative?

Also, what's your counter-offer?
>>
>>27730401
yes, but once we have her legally locked into a contract, she'd have a very hard time maneuvering the plot to get rid of us. Meanwhile we are forcibly thrust into the spotlight of the narrative. What's more, with this setup, the way she spurned us before actually gives a tiny bit of a suggestion that we are the protagonist in this duo.

And we were a cheerleader when we didn't think we'd have enough time to be part of the sports team before we left for their safety. And before we awoke our divine sports powers
>>
>>27730358
Yeah, the sooner we start this, the more cemented it will become. We're at the tipping point. We NEED a real story now.
>>
>>27730478
...We don't want the spotlight though.

We're a supporting character with lots of plot hooks and that's how we should stay.
>>
>>27730422
but she THINKS he's our NPC if I recall correctly, and that's why she was trying to steal him
>>
>>27730478
No, we're still gonna cheerlead.

>>27730492
This
>>
>>27730358
NO WAIT

Better idea!

Hes actually luring her into a trap, a fight against the baseball knight if she signs the contract.
>>
>>27730495
What no, she doesn't know it's him at all, I don't think.
>>
>>27730492
main character gets more narrative points than anyone. Besides we need to do this in a way that the backstabbing bitch can't wriggle around to get rid of.
>>
>>27730513
...I don't think that really sways her to the "I want you alive, dumbass."
>>
>>27730478
Konoko can still be the lead ace player. We're going to stick to cheerleading and fanservice or whatever. This is all just a big compromise for everyone involved.
>>
>>27730515
Yeah, she has no idea that this is Leopold. She just knows Leo exists and assumes he's our npc.
>>
>>27730547
No, she doesn't know that the manager is Leopold and thinks its HER NPC.
>>
>>27730563
This. Ultimately, we'll blame his attack on the world alignment and get this plot started. We need to build momentum now, we can't waste more time faffing about.
>>
>>27730056
>I've been swallowing blood for the last two hours. Let's do this shit.
Wot. Do have the flu? Walk into a door? Fall down some stairs?
>>
>>27730589
No, we have to let her know its Leopold, so she realizes that she basically walked into his trap without our guidance.
>>
"Okay four eyes, get over here," Leopold with a sigh walks over to you, and you point at Konoko, "I'm going to go outside in my fabulously cute service uniform-"
"It is cute."
"Thank you, I'm going to go out and hang around and get myself in permission. Give it like five minutes or so, and then head out there, and be evil. Talk about, uh, how she's getting a red card from fate or something."
"...I'm sorry?"
"Look, I'd need a blackboard, a rulesbook, and an unholy amount of patience to explain, but just keep to a sports theme, okay?" You glare up at Leopold. He nods slowly.

"Ah- so, sports themed evil?"
"Yes."
"I really don't know much about football-"
"Do I have to do everything? Improvise," You push Leopold back out of sight, adjust your hat with sleeping kitten under it, and then stroll out to the restaurant.

Konoko is now staring at her plate, pushing around noodles with her fork while Buffgirl McBluehair is patting her on the shoulder, awkwardly trying to raise her spirits. You glance over at Riritu, still crouched behind a fern, watching Konoko eat with shining eyes. Anon still is nowhere in sight.

You amble over as casually as possible, and give Riritu a nudge, "Hey, you seen Anon at all?"
"Mmmhmm," Riritu whimpers, wiping tears from her eyes, "He...He's so romantic!"
Oh fuck no.

"What. What did he do?"
"He...He said he would watch over her!" She clenches her fist, staring up, "Like...Like a dark night! He said," And she lowers her voice, starts growling, " 'Because I'm the hero she deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So she'-"
"No, no, stop right there," You will not suffer an aneurysm right now, "Where is he?"
"Hm? Oh, up in the chandelier!" Riritu points up, and sure enough, Anon is there, brooding with a hood over his face, staring down at Konoko, "He's watching over her!"

Leopold opens the bathroom doors, adjusting his tie. He looks a little unhappy. He scans the room, catches your eye. Nods, very slightly.

>Your move.
>>
I think there's another element we're missing. How we're going to reconcile this conversation when the Narrative Health recovers.

I think our only recourse at this point is to incorporate reincarnation, and that this is one of our past lives briefly taking control.

It's stupid, but stupid can work.
>>
>>27730563
That's what I said. She thinks the guy here is her npc and a manager. She doesn't know that it's Leo whom she assumes to be our npc.
>>
Anyway, the point I'm trying to get across is: Don't waste Leopold's position of power over her on a quick overt scheme against her. Seriously, controlling her manager is mega-useful. If we must foil a plot against her, it shouldn't be HIS plot. Maybe it's HIS boss plotting against her as part of the evil enemies and then afterwards we all split off from them as an independent group
>>
>>27730626
God damnit, Anon. But wait

This hood thing can actually work in our favor? Wasn't Anon supposed to be the Dark Horse in the Maho no Sportsman thing? Let's make his thing that he's the masked teammate! Nobody knows his deal, but he's there to support Konoko.

All we need to do is make sure he keeps his hood up and doesn't kill Leo right away. Keep him honorable.

How did he- you glance around. You guess it's some kind of brooding instinct, to get as high up as possible. Wait, plan, plan, if Anon keeps this up, he'll steal all the glory.

You give a little wave to Leopold, then point up. He glances up. You fear for a moment that the frown he gives will split his face in two. He looks back at you and raises his hands in utter exasperation. You roll your eyes, point at Leopold's flunky. Leopold's scowlocity reduces by 10%, and he walks over to his minion, and whispers in his ear. The minion stands to attention, then strides past, going deeper in to the restaurant.

Well, who knows what the fuck's going on there.

"I wish someone would watch over me..." Riritu whispers breathlessly, staring up at Anon. You glance up. The combination of poorly trimmed beard, hobo coat, and bottle of booze kind of ruins the fantasy in your opinion, but whatever, different strokes and all that. You advise Riritu to stay still, and then sneak over to Konoko's side of the restaurant.

Konoko looks up at Leopold's presence, and gives an uncertain smile. You decide to snoop over too, staying behind Konoko. And staying out of arm's reach of blue hair.

"I'm dreadfully sorry about that," Leopold's voice has a slight amount of oiliness in it, "Business to take care of, you know how these things are," He gives a smile as he sits down.

"No, no, it's okay-" Konoko waves her hand, "Ah, you were talking about your interest in, uh, my sports career, right?"
"Yesss, about that," You can hear the hesitation in Leopold's voice, "It's just at this moment-"
"It's about yesterday's soccer game, right?" Konoko sounds sad at that.
"Well, yes."

You hear a clang from behind, and you glance back and up to the ceiling. Okay, now there are girder's or something on the ceiling? Leopold's henchman is crawling on the girder, sneaking up on Anon.
>>
I think we should have Leopold introduce us as a rival fellow sportsmen and his ex. That way he sets us up as Konoko's rival in boths sports and love,
>>
"...I'm sorry, I'm really thankful about the offer, but-"
"You don't want to talk about that soccer game?" Leopold sounds rather peeved at that. In and out of character.
"I..." From behind, you see Konoko's shoulders slump, "I just would like an ordinary soccer career, you know? I mean- that is to say..." Ellipses. Too many ellipses. She sure could be cool and collected while backstabbing, but just talking about a freaking soccer game is a challenge? "...I lost. I lost some very important friends that day. And, something else very dear to me."

"Dear to you?" Leopold's flat here. Not moved by Konoko's wavering voice.
"I. I think that those, those who. Those."

Konoko stands up from the table, "I'm very sorry, mister scout. I think the food is disagreeing with me."
"Wait, hang on," Leopold stands. You hear soft chimes above, and you glance back to the chandelier and girders.

Hoo boy. Anon spotted the dude. He's tensed up, standing on the chandelier, waving at Leopold's flunky in a full on 'come at me bro' pose. He can't even anonymously lurk without begging for attention! The two rapidly start struggling in the chandelier.

"You said you weren't interested in me!" Konoko doesn't shout it, but she says it low, and hurt, as she starts to turn away- about to see you. Leopold sees the same, and snatches her wrist.

"Please, wait-"

And Konoko gasps and tenses- she doesn't see you, but she's looking away from Leopold, tensed up, and blushing.

>>
>>27731743
Probably isn't, but I don't know if we have time for an alternative?

It might make her easier to grasp the truth, that we're not interested in revenge and want to keep her alive, even though she is a huge backstabbing bitch.
>>
>>27731780
>>27731800

The gaping hole in the plan is that she easily see through the very thinly attempt to be relevant again, and rejects it.

But I guess Twen is already writing, so a bit late for that.

Holy shit Anon
Holy shit Leo

They are both so endearingly pathetic I can't even hate them anymore.
>>
>>27731850
Too bad. The alignment is going up, which means it's getting harder and harder for her to grimdark her way out of this. If the narrative health can heal some more, it'll also be harder for her to break character. We're going to fix this story so hard she'll have no choice but to go along with our silly sports plot.
>>
>>27731850
>she easily see through the very thinly attempt to be relevant again, and rejects it.

Yeah, if she's smart.

Which she isn't.
>>
>>27731850
If she rejects us, we'll just siphon points from Leo until we have enough to repair the plot to the point where our story will be accepted and Konoko has no choice but to give us a role. Remember, with anon, leo, and riritu together, we can weave a plot strong enough that she can't say no.
>>
>World alignment increased!
>World alignment, 0.

Leopold's looking at you with a look of infinite terror. What, does he think you care? Hang on, maybe this is on purpose- ew good lord no, you are not going to get in to some jealousy hijinks love triangle with Konoko. Especially not over that creep.

Whatever. Bedlam is about to break out in this swanky place, so- it's go time.

"Konoko, look out!" You shout, sprinting over. Leopold looks over, his face in rictus, "He's from the Anti-Order!"

From above, you hear Anon shouting, "SWEAR TO MEEEEE" as he's pounding Leopold's goon in to the stem of the chandelier. It's starting to bend and creak.

"Wha- Miko?" Konoko's face is just as frozen as Leopold's, "Why are you-"
"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Leopold's voice is strangled as he lets go of Konoko mechanically, to open his coat, "Yes! You have fallen in to our clever trap? Like...How a rook castles a king, Anti-Order CRUCIFIX has you right where we want you!"

Christ, Leo, that sucked- but here goes. Here we freaking go- Konoko starts as Leopold takes a pistol out of his coat- a black and nasty thing. The blue haired girl from behind darts forward, going to protect Konoko- but-
>0.05 narrative points spent!
>New total, 0.35!

"Konoko-chan, look o-Agh!" One of the seemingly innocent patrons of the restaurant jumps from their table, knife out, and the blue haired girl is forced to shift her attentions. The way is clear, as Konoko stares at you, in disbelief. Leopold takes his time aiming down the barrel at Konoko. She stares at you, lip sticked mouth wide open.
>Narrative points gained, 0.05!
>New total, 0.40!

"Why?" She asks. Somehow, in the anarchy, you hear her perfectly. You hate when time gets all weird in scenes like this. You hear a squeal of metal, and barking electricity above you.

>Protagonist attention gained!
>Role earned!
>>
"Field goaaaallll!" Leopold shouts in an uncertain voice, as you dive forward. Well, at least that was a sport.

You're getting back in this narrative damn it. Konoko doesn't have a choice here. Leopold settles his pistol forward. The finger is on the trigger.

You leap between them.

"Biot! Savart! LAW!" You slash your fingers through the air, and crackling blue energy flares. Leopold nods, and pulls the trigger.

The gunshot is deafening. And you flinch, at the force. Feel hot gunpowder kiss your cheek. See the bullet, a lump of bitter, killing hate fly at Konoko. And your shield, shimmering to light. In its path.

Or not.

>Decision time, aka shitstorm time.
>Block the bullet. World alignment continues to be maintained. All is well.

>'Accidentally' let the bullet through.

Ohhhh man, it'd be so easy- you open your eyes, squinting- fucking slo mo bullshit. At least this bullet looks like an actual fired bullet instead of pristine and costumed in brass. Just a little bit of lead, going in to her face, oh wouldn't that be nice.

But no. You tighten your arms, exert yourself. Not today, little one. The bullet hits the edge of your barrier, and shatters, neutralized, and you allow yourself a smile-

And then a shard zips by, and catches your upper arm. Shit! You gasp, let go off the barrier, allowing it to fizzle away, and then you slam down in to a plate of fettucine alfredo, some candles, and assorted silverware. Ow. You look up, to see both Leopold and Konoko leaning over you, concerned.

"Miko-chan!""Rosa!"

They shout at the same time. Leopold and Konoko both look up and stare at each other. Leopold lowers his gun, forgotten.
"I-"
"What did you call her?" Konoko says, curious.
"I, ah-" Leopold backs up, blushing furiously, "Well, it's, the dish is-"
"I AM THE NIIIIIGHT!"

Where once there was a blushing, frightened man in a dark suit, there is instead a thrash of glass and electric lights, brilliant coruscating gems flying through the air and catching the light, sparks of electricity and pieces of some unfortunate goon's suit.

Leopold goes sailing out of the window (Really, it was inevitable someone would have to go through it), as Anon lands, finishing his overarm swing of chandelier. He contemptuously throws it after Leopold then turns to the two of you, "Are you alright?"

"Y-y-YOU IDIOT!" Konoko screams over you.
"Eh, he'll be fine, falling doesn't kill anybody," You mumble, a little bit annoyed that nobody's paying attention to your cut.
"You, you don't know that- oh no, I, I have to," Konoko is mumbling rapidly, clearly losing her grip, "Le-let's see-"

You hear the noise of a helicopter, and Anon looks out the window, curiously. Sure enough, a great big Huey painted with a flaming cross comes heaving in to view, with Exodium hanging off the side, holding on to Leopold by the back of shirt- Leopold looks rather worse for the wear.
"Tch! You evaded us this time, Konoko- but the secret to the Ultimate Penalty Kick will be ours eventually!"
"H-h-Hah! As if!" Konoko runs past you, to shout out the window, shaking her fist, "Like I'd ever tell you, you with your extremely advanced medical technology, and your immoral attitude despite your great loyalty to your clearly valuable agents, like him!"
"Hahaha! You will break, just you wait, bitch!" Exodium drags Leopold in to the helicopter, and swings the door shut, "Just you wait!"

"Dude, wait," Anon starts hefting a table, steadying his aim, "I got this, heli blades are super weak-"
"Shut up!" Konoko delivers a kick to Anon's face, ending his dreams of taking out a helicopter, "God- why are you here? Why are you all here?" She looks around, as Riritu steps from the wreckage, smiling, "Why...Why would you follow me, damn it! Why?"

"Because we're friends?" You groan, sitting up, brushing shards of plate and cream sauce from your back.

"Honestly, Konoko-chan~ You could hardly expect us to stay out of this- especially with how Anon-kun feels about you, fufufufufufu-"
"Wha- hey shut up!" Anon bounces back from falling from a chandelier and receiving a kick to the face pretty quick, "Don't misrepresent things!"
"Ohhhh? Look at your face- it's so red!"
"That's from the kick!"

As the two go through the well worn and typical banter, Konoko turns to you. You stare eye to eye for once, seeing as you're sitting on a table.

Konoko stares at you silently, red eyed.

"What do you want?"

Everyone else is engaged in their own words. Just the two of you can talk. Settle some things.

>>27732900
Riritu needed help breaking Exodium, so we worked together and discovered the plot to kill you. We rushed over as soon as possible, we even recruited Anon to help! We can never allow our very best friend to get hurt.

>>
>>27732890
Yes

If she tries to talk to us out of narrative, pokerface hard and act confused and saddened like a naive cheerleader.

Maybe, if we roleplay hard enough, the narrative will lash out at her for acting out of character.
>>
>>27733021

(this is >>27733025 btw)
>>
>>27733007
Idiot. That's way too shortsighted.

The narrative remembers our behavior and will bring a reckoning upon us when it heals.

Like say that the Anti-Order gave us some kind of training on how to act helpless to garner support, and we put on a front with Anon, Riritu etc, while being more honest with Konoko.

Maybe imply that we're unhappy with the "real us" at the same time.
>>
>>27733026

>>27733029

>>
>>27733029
Whoa, but we're not just a naive cheerleader and the narrative knows it. We've displayed knowledge of the occult, as well as enough spunk and willingness to throw ourselves into battle, and a dark history. Don't forget that "in character" doesn't strip us entirely of nuance; our character is a pile of collected details that must all fit together coherently to avoid plot holes.

>>

No tricking her, just try to get her to play along.
>>
>>27733026
Yes, but make it clear that we're willing to forgive her, *once*, if she's willing to stop being a dumb bitch.
>>
>>27733060
>>27733072
>>27733074

We'll incorporate it as the Fallen aspect of ourselves when the time comes.
>>
>>27732794
It's true

It's so, so true

He's done a complete 180 and he's actually my favorite character now.
>>
>>27733074
No evil side.

Just say that our initial encounter with Anon was a lie, and say we understand why Konoko would turn on us when corrupted by power, like add on that we don't like us very much either.
>>
>>27733087
Eh we need to play that stuff long-term and vague.

Right now, the narrative knows how we really are, and we've got to own up to it.
>>
>>27733026

I really feel like giving her the silent treatment (by dodging conversation with this in-character shit) like a child is a disgusting thing to do.

but if we have to stay in character like a passive-aggressive bitch, at least let's not act overtly hostile. I want to rebuild this bridge.
>>
>>27733072
Okay, fair enough.

Either way, the point still stands. Pokerface. Don't break character. Even if we are sentient and she knows it, as long as we never break character, we have a shield in the form of plot armour.
>>
>>27733087
Speaking of Fallen Us, we need to put using the occult books in Anon's room to bind Riritu to our will on the agenda. Schedule it for after we've recovered our ki, I think.

We can't leave her loose- we've already set her on the path to "regaining her intelligence", and the antagonist has foreshadowed her as malicious, powerful, and intelligent if she does. The best way to head that off is to ensure that she's capable of recovering while simultaneously remaining safely bound to us.

If we don't move on this soon, we'll end up with her launching a superpowered evil party member plot before much longer.
>>
>>27733106
Like the goals of the talk are to
>Give her an out for her treachery, while letting her know what a stupid idea that was for the POV character
>Acknowledging and coming up with an explanation for our own two-faced behavior
>Letting Konoko know that she can't just shift plotlines without destroying the story
and most importantly
>We're okay with her remaining the protagonist, and are willing to work with her in the future.
>>
>>27733129
It's not really the silent treatment. We just can't afford any more strikes against us. We stick in character, and allude to anything she really needs to know. She should be able to figure it out.
>>
>>27733087
No, no. Not our fallen aspect. Our actual angelic aspect.

Because God and the angels are all actually huge jerks but put on a nice face for their followers.
>>
>>27733129
>>27733084
>>27733008

No. Making friends fucked us once already and we very nearly died. Konoko was fully willing to just let us fade away. You think she won't resent us for not dying? You think she isn't going to take the chance to get rid of us again, when she's sure things can't go wrong?
>>
Something something the CRUCIFIX is the only thing powerful enough to kill beings of heavenly nature.

>FORESHADOWING FOR BEING AN ANGEL!
>>
>>27733129
>>27733133
No, don't be a bitch about it.

It's that it is literally damaging to the narrative to just talk openly. Like if she doesn't get it, dumb it down for her.

This isn't a passive-aggressive thing, we're teaching her that even if we're both sentient, it can be a good idea to not just completely disregard the narrative.

Like we're not snubbing her, and should be as honest as possible.

How is this hard to grasp?
>>
>>27733026
I would rather just tell her our goal is what it always was - to make it to the end. Let her choose whether she wants to be an obstacle to that or not.
>>
>>27733161
Riritu can go ahead and be a villain, actually. She could be a good opposite character to us. The busty, seductive cheerleader for evil. Because she's just a character, she'll fulfill her role faithfully.
>>
I'm not very interesting in making her friends again, but as long as she is not actively trying to get us killed and not destory the narritave, we should be fine.
>>
>>27733234
The more she likes us the easy it will be.

Revenge is a sucker's game.
>>
>>27733191
She was sure things wouldn't go wrong this time. She kind of stupid and impulsive.
>>
>>27733161
I agree with this, if only to strengthen our angelic/fallen angelic nature.
>>
>>27733216
It isn't a passive-agressive thing, it's an actively aggressive thing - We're trying to trick her into breaking character.

It's also the safest thing we can do. Two birds, one stone.
>>
>>27733026
Yes, stay in character. Only make allusions. Be as nice as possible.
>>
>>27733267
No we're fucking not.

We don't want her to break character. We want her to stay in character so this story starts to heal.

If she doesn't get it, we just flat out explain it to her.

It's important that the protagonist of this story knows how to behave.
>>
>>27733220
I think by lobotomizing her we turned her into a good guy.

Oh, and I just now realized her humming in German was supposed to allude to a shared background with us since we have that funny psuedo-German name. I feel kinda slow.
>>27732462
>long term plans.
Speaking of, we still need to deal with Deadoko. Once we get ourselves settled into the narrative I suggest we start teasing the plot into a direction that folds her back into it like we promised.
>>
>>27733292
Deadoko can be the leader of the bad guys. The ultimate B-Baller
>>
>>27733191
she seemed to think we would just respawn in a different story, almost like what leopold wants, so she wasn't technically murdering us. Like sending us to a different country or somehting. We can try to convince her that was an incorrect assumption, and essentially guilt-trip her to taking us back on. We might not even have to lie, this multiple story shit is so vague none of us knows how it legitimately works
>>
>>27733279
But make sure she knows what we're actually talking about.

Like bring up what happened, but explain it in story, while making hints to the narrative mechanics.

We don't want to trick her, or be mean to her, we want to teach her.
>>
>>27733291
We can at least mumble to her under our breath that she is the protag now and she needs to start acting like it.
>>27733304
Or we could rescue her from the lab that she was totally trapped in and she becomes the fourth member of our Magical Girl Sports Squad. Fifth if you count Big Blue.

Mahou no Sportsman was too good to pass up.
>>
So, about that protagonist oppurtunity?
>>
>>27733352
No, we can't do that.

We have to own up to the personality we've shown in the story, there's no escaping that.

I really hope everyone understands that it's easier to say "I was pretending to be nice to garner sympathy" than start off with split personalities.
>>
>>27733352

>kissing ass
Yeah, and Sandro isn't the true king of the Necropolises.
>>27733368
I was wondering that myself.
>>
>>27733378
It's more in line with a magical show of this variety to have it be multiple personas, rather than just being a bitch.
>>
>>27733368
I'm betting that was to call in the chopper to help Leo. She seemed upset that he got recked.
>>
>>27733335
Yeah, tie her into the lab, maybe the lab is into interdimensional cloning, and she's an alt reality version of us?

(so, what do you guy think about going for an Bioshock Infinite ending? Make the story cross dimensions, so while things are different, they still stay the same?)
>>
>>27733368
Technically it just means the Protagonist HAS an opportunity, not that there's an opportunity for us to become Protagonist.

I'm pretty sure Anon had a Protagonist Opportunity, but passed it off because he was a pussy back then.
>>
>>27733335
No, anon. She's already dead. We have to work with that, the Narrative won't allow anything else.

But remember, she has the same 'dark powers' as anon. Necromancy and such. She's an evil ghost in meta, she's an evil ghost in story. Plus she hates Anon.
>>
>>27733423
He did, and he did.
>>
>>27733407
I don't know, not a complete bitch, but more... that psychic guy from Haruhi?

>>
>>27733419
Fuck off.
>>
>>27733451
We can foreshadow both right now, but we don't have to confront it immediately.
>>
>>27733440
>She's already dead. We have to work with that
>implying they cant clone her and then bind her spirit to the clone or some shit
We are dealing with occult scientists in a stereotypical anime plot, literally any retarded series of events is possible.
>>
>>27733468
Sigh, what did I do to piss you off?
>>
Anyway, Twen, write, write~!
>>
>>27733486
She also needs to be hugely important to the narrative in order to make up for her being, well, dead, in order to get enough narrative points to become an actual entity again. The best way to do that is to make her the villain, which ties a shitload of plot threads to her. Crucifix, us being in the lab, why Leo killed her, and the source of Anon's dark powers (long line of evil sorcerors, Deadoko was chosen over Anon because he didn't kick enough puppies)
>>
You blink at her.

"Konoko? I want everyone to be safe. Are you alright?"
"That-"
"Ahhh, I forgot about myself," You look at your arm. Blood's running from it. You spare a glance at Anon, and see that he's looking over at you too. Clearly worried. You look over at Konoko. She's not worried. You figure that she has no reason to be. You take off your hat, hold up Cringer. He mews plaintively. At this, Konoko looks stricken.
"And poor Cringer. I forgot about him too," You look at his foot. All twisted weird. God damn bitch. Well, you managed a shield-

You lean in, let your lips brush Cringer's paw. A glow suffuses the both of you, and you hear Cringer squeak- and then start purring. As the shine fades, you see he's happy and whole, rubbing his face up against you, all three eyes closed in delight.

"Hah, what a relief-" You glance over at your arm. Your arm has sealed to, "And I'm better too!"
"Miko..."
"That's how it works for me, you know? I can't kiss myself to make it better. I can only get better when I help other people," The kitten playfully bats at your nose, and you allow yourself a giggle, "Or cute kittens. Hey, hey, Konoko-chan?" You hold Cringer up, facing her, "Don't you think he's cute, huh? Like this? All better?" Cringer fluffs up, as soon as he's facing Konoko.

Konoko's eyes start to crumple. She's trying to keep as still as possible, as she nods.

"Yeah, I thought so too. We have to save the world, Konoko, you know that? No matter who we are, what we said, or what we did," At this, you glance at Anon. Riritu somehow managed to get him in a headlock. His cheek pressed firmly in to her mammaries, he seems quite content with the situation, "Bad things might happen. And that's bad," You look back to Konoko. She's tensed up, looking out the window, "But the worst thing is when people stop trying to do good."

"Okay, Konoko?" You do the dippy closed eye smile.
"We'll all get our just desserts," She whispers. Your smile fades.
>>
>>27733539
Actually, that works out really nicely. Then as the resident paranormal girl, we resolve this plot/subplot
>>
There seems to be a number of factions forming here on what we should proceed to do in the story. It's not even about what we should DO even, it's more about what kind of person we are. Some like the idea we are inherently a good person trying to bring about a good end, and some think we're a manipulator who wants to "survive at all costs". A personally vote for the former, because we obviously try to go the good route even when we had the chances not to, and I think manipulating is less a part of who we are, and more of a necessary evil.
>>
"Hey, Konoko, that's not your line."
"I- Miko-chan, I'm sorry, but-" Being a protagonist just makes you a drama magnet, apparently. You're about to lecture her further, when suddenly there's a blue and brown blur that sweeps past you.

"Konoko-chan!" The blue haired girl crushes Konoko in her arms, "Konoko-chan, I was so worried about you!"
"Hey, hey, Shikibu-san," Konoko pats the crying girl on the back, "Don't worry so much."
"It's my fault! I, I thought that this would only be an athletic scouting...To think anyone would want to hurt my precious Konoko!"
"Hey, hey, calm down-" Konoko looks at you. You see a great deal of conflict in her eyes, then sighs, and says through gritted teeth, "Thankfully. My friends saved me. Anon, Riritu, and...Archimboldi-san," She looks pensive, eyes half lidded, "I really owe them a lot."

"You sure do, Konoko-chan!" Anon walks over, an inquiring look on his face, "Introduce me to your friend? Shikibu-chan, was it?"
"Don't be so forward," Konoko says stepping between the two, a look of anger over Shikibu's face, "And you-" She frowns, "Why do you-"
"I am a viking!" Anon says, fists on his hips, looking off to the side like superman, "A viking batman!"

"...Right. Well," Konoko glances at you again, for some reason, "So, how did you hear about this? I thought I'd kept it pretty secret!"
"Oh, Knight Exodium said that you would be ambushed here, and we were so worried~ Is Konoko-chan alright?" Riritu is now joining the orbit. All attention on Konoko again.

Weird she isn't happy about it. Actually, no it isn't. Anon's there. That probably would ruin anybody's mood.

You stand stroking Cringer. He's up and ready now, crawling all over you. You have a role now. You'll fulfill it.

>Narrative pool lost.
>Friend Role gained.
>Friendship pool, 0.50!

>>
>>27733589
Yeah, we need to see if we can rope Deadoko into her new role. Quickly, though, since we have to keep up our momentum. If it can't be done quickly, we'll just hang the role on her and run. Deadoko will just have to decide whether she wants it or not on her own.
>>
Hm, just checked my twitter. Sorry, I'll link the threads when they start in the future.
>>
>>27733645

Just have a casual talk to Riritu. Further foreshadow stuff about our true natures, and possibly stuff about the lab. We'll try a ritual of friendship when we get back home so she'll be bound to us.
>>
>>27733605
If she's really set on being this stupid, we make it so she can't backstab us without narrative backlash, and then take her out when she does. Then we have a good cry over how we can't believe our best friend betrayed us, boo hoo, blah blah, etc.

That was the point of asking. Mostly, after all the blatant flirting Naya did with Konoko, it's be weird not to.
>>
>>27733589

I wouldn't say no to some narrative foreshadowing for Deadoko, like what was discussed last time. Thing is, by bringing her into the fold of things, we stand to most likely increase narrative stability and to gain an ally (presuming we aren't just creating another Konoko for all of our efforts). Still, now probably isn't a stable time to try to plug her for resurrection, maybe later when Konoko is angsting.

Any chance we can bump Deadoko for resurrection now? We missed a good opportunity last session which we might be able to capitalize on now. Basically, giving Konoko the pep talk that was proposed for Anon, though that brings us a little closer to the labs, which might mess with WA.
>>
>>27734007
Deadoko should be foreshadowed as a "mysterious presence". She's the BBEG after all, so we'll monologue a bit to let her know what's going on as well as give her a place. If she takes it, that's up to her.
>>
>>27734027
This. If she decides to accept the role, we and Leo are gonna foreshadow as hard as physically possible.

We'll also ask Anon about her and whether she has the same necromancy powers as he does.
>>
>>27734027

When did Deadoko become the BBEG? Last I checked, we had promised her a neutral or better role in the story. That is not to say that I think the role of villain wouldn't suit her better.

Depending on WA, she might still be redeemed. That's up to her.

Hmm... As the scene starts to fade out, you walk over to Riritu.
"It sure is great that things ended well here! I hate those anti-order CRUCIFIX folks, brr!" You look to Riritu, hoping she'll jump for the prompt. She puts a finger to her chin, considering.

"Did you say...CRUCIFIX?"
"Yeah. Remember anything about, labs, tools, those kinds of things? Scalpels and beakers and labcoats? Oh, and a little girl that looked like Anon?" Just a few of my favorite things. Riritu thinks- then her blue eyes cloud over to red.

"Yes," She hisses, puts on an unpleasant face, "Playing at supplanting a dead God, thinking they could fit in His throne, the throne that was promised the bringer of dawn, the banisher of night-"

>Foreshadowing Riritu full. Can be activated whenever you're ready.

"Riritu?" She blinks and her eyes are blue again.
"Hm? Miko-chan?" She smiles, then shrugs, "Sorry, I don't know where I was going there, haha!"

There's a montage of scenes of the group huddled with each other, chattering happily as they walk down the stairs, scuffed up, dirty, but a true sugoi nakama once more. Except for Konoko. Her coat is slung over her, and she walks along, ahead of Shikibu even. Shikibu glances between you and her in worry. Mmm, delicious brown girl muscles.

You come down stairs, and there's a taxi cab waiting. Konoko wonders aloud who called it, and Anon immediately jumps in to boast that he did it. They file in, and you go to join them- but as the scene fades out and they skim along their path back to the house, you hold back, and let it melt around you.

>Friendship pool, 0.49.

Time to go back to the Diner.

You always find your way to it. You seem to be tied almost. As you approach you can see things are getting worse. Flitting shapes, a door open to a family staring back at you, a dog running on the sky- the narrative's growing more incoherent.

The diner is unrecognizable when you get to where it used to be. Just a great, bleak hole, orbited by garbage.
>>
No sign of Deadoko though, amid the floating remnants of a scene. You poke around, as careful as you can, and don't spot her. You're starting to get a weird feeling in this place.

Just when you give up and turn to leave though, naturally the bitch has to be standing in your way in the street. Her edges are getting red and jagged. Reaching out more and more.

"Konoko's smile is penetrating as she stands across from you, and you feel a sense of guilt- the world's alignment, ah, it was so close to where she wanted it. A thought crosses your mind, how could she disappoint this dear and wonderful person? But, that hardly matters, that hardly matters. For as it turns out, the dear and precious Konoko-chan has a new gift, and a new desire."
"Your 'brother' lost his protag spot," You shuffle your feet, "Doesn't that make you happy?"
"She turns at that, like an iambic pentameter, happy? She wonders aloud, was I not clear that I had cause for him to suffer?"
"Getting bumped down to the little leagues does have to sting him."

Her shadow grows, spreading across the street.

"Sting? She asks, in disbelief. If I had desire to sting, she starts slow and angry, leaning forward like a miller, then I would have gotten a bee to do the job," Haha, BEEEES, "I wanted him to suffer, she hisses between her fingers, suffer, this whole story to suffer, the whole of this world, suffer. She turns away, her pale and midnight shadow of loving hate wrapped in her arms, Oh woe am I, of what I've seen."

"Okay, what's your request then?"
"Does she need to repeat herself, the patient Konoko wonders. Does she need to go through this again? She hopes you don't disappoint. She leans back. There is a pause, a silence like a combine harvester's swing. I have found another sentient. And she means you ill, she says with relish."

Bravo. More assholes with a grudge. You roll your eyes. Do you really want to make her a character?

>Your move.
>>
>>27734221
Okay, you want Anon to suffer? We've a vacancy right here for you, head of the Anti-Order Crucifix,

wait, what about more sentients trying to kill me?
>>
>>27734221
I say we accept her terms, she fits all my bullet points for big bad and we can direct her at the two people we hate most in this tale.
>>
>>27734221
"She can join the club. I've prepped an antagonist role for you, if you want it. A decent one, too. From there you'll be in the perfect position to inflict suffering on just about everyone without the narrative trying to rip you apart, and you can push changes onto the world alignment on your own."
>>
>>27734303
Not unless she promises to tell more about the new asshat trying to kill us.
>>
>>27734221
"I'd ask you if you want the part of main villain, but I'm pretty sure you've already got it down flat.

Seriously, just do what comes naturally and I'm pretty sure you'll have more than enough points to leave this story alive.

I mean when it comes to spiteful phantom, you're the best I've ever seen."
>>
>>27734202
>>27734221
There's a role for her, she can take it or leave it. That's all there is to it. The world's going to get brighter and happier with or without her.

We're going for a happy ending, and while she can have her share of suffering, this isn't ending poorly.
>>
>>27734303
We'd need to bring down the narrative three points which seems like a LOT of work.
>>
>>27734221
"I've got a character slot ready for you, if you still want it. Though what do you want with the other sentient?"
>>
>>27734303
No low world alignment. At most, it will stay where it is. Suffering can happen, but this story is back on rails, come hell or high water.
>>
>>27734334
Pretty much this.
>>
>>27734340
No, we don't. We just need FORESHADOWING.

Ghost of a sister lost in an accident.
>>
>>27734320
Just try to keep it sports themed.

Or I can keep working for a full ressurection if you want to wait for that. Might take a bit though. Probably have it as a wish as the prize of some magical soccer tournament. We've already seen undead Trexs before anyway
>>
>>27734334
This one right here.
>>
oooooor you could temporarily possess Cringer
>>
>>27734334
We're going to go for this. We're not going to beg for her assistance. We're making her an offer, and it's a good one. She can cause Anon suffering, she can hurt him all she wants. But as an Antagonist who will eventually be redeemed or defeated.
>>
>>27734356
Yeah this.

Though maybe -1.

2 would be best.
>>
Right. Offering Deadoko a place in the story then?
>>
>>27734423

Seems ideal. Also, ask her how she feels about sports and dinosaurs.
>>
>>27734334
This is the best option. It's the offer we're giving her with what we have. We're not dropping the WA nor are we serving her Anon on a platter. She'll have to play her part to hurt Anon

>>27734423
Yes, but according to our stipulations.
>>
>>27734441
Well she can also have the lab/religion/hellfire theme if she wants. We kinda have a dual theme going on here.
>>
>>27734423
See these, Twen
>>27734403
>>27734356
>>27734334
>>27734453
>>
>>27734423

>>27734423
Only as the Devil Princess of Sports.
>>
>>27734477
From last thread:
Why the dinosaurs went extinct:

When Lucifer rebelled, he challenged God to THE ULTIMATE MATCH.

They had this match in space, but when Lucifer realized that God truly was the greatest sportsman in the universe, he played dirty and kicked the ball, not at the goals, but at the Earth. This was the moment the dinosaurs went extinct, and the moment that Lucifer truly fell.

Because nothing is worse than bad sportsmanship.
>>
>>27734423
We tell her that she takes the deal that she can get. She becomes our Demon Sportsgirl, she will oppose Konoko and Anon, and she can cause them suffering as is appropriate to her role, but she cannot derail the story.
>>
>>27734524
Don't forget the Cosmic Court. She can have that Realm too.
>>
"Great, another one- okay, we can talk about that in a bit. Right now, I got a question for you, you wanna get in on this story?"

"She has already-"
"I hate to interrupt, but impossible ain't in my dictionary. Real quick, do you know what sport a field goal is in?"
"She pauses, raising an eyebrow. Football, correct?"
"American football, yes. Or handegg if you're particularly dickish. So lemme pitch it at you- you hate everyone here?"
"Yesss, she hisses like a kettle."
"So why not become the big bad? The evil behind the throne? The final boss?" You spread your hands, "Just take out that fury in canon, y'know?"
"She wonders aloud if the red headed stepchild is asking for a beating in a roundabout way as she has specifically explained again and again that she can not get back in to the story!"
"Sure you can- there's gotta be a way.

The outline turns its head, considering things.

Then Cringer mews.

And you see the shadow smile.

"She frowns, looks conflicted. Perhaps, she says, perhaps if I could hitch a ride with your feline there. She spreads her hands, she sees no other way."
"I can foreshadow things-"
"Of course, then...The hated one would see this, would act against us, she points out, smoke like water."
"Look, don't worry about it- I'll find a way."
"Please, the feline, it tempts us- I'll tell you about the sentient as well! Without the task!"
"Task?" You raise an eyebrow, "What was the task."

The shadow shakes like a tree, and you can hear snapping. Urgh, your headache is getting worse here.

"Konoko looks at you bluntly, and states she wants to meet the one that stole her name. The walking Konoko. The one you know. Regrettably, not to do violence. Just bring her, is all she asks. Very modestly."

>Your move.
>>
>>27734423
Only if she agrees to go full Kill La Kill
>>
>>27734563
I don't like either of these options. I just can't decide which one I like worse.
>>
>>27734563
"Fine. You don't want to play ball, then rot in here, for all I care. Bye, Konoko."
>>
>>27734563
so thats a no to the role then? right we got our answer, lets leave her to fade away
>>
>>27734563
No, my cat is mine
We can get you in through another vector though
>>
>>27734563
I don't feel safe about letting her ride just yet. We can prepare another vessel.

After all, didn't Leo just add a new name all on his own?

Rosa?
>>
>>27734619
Well, there's always the turn 360 degrees and walk away option.
>>
>>27734563
If its a choice between letting her inhabit Cringer or dragging Konoko in front of her, it'd be safer in the narrative to let her have Cringer
>>
>>27734635
not a 1080? you're smalltime Twen
>>
>>27734563
"I'll have to get back to you about that.

But seriously, it's not as hard as you think it is, as long as you don't mind being the ghost of Anon's beloved sister, your hatred keeping you clinging onto the mortal plane."
>>
>>27734633
Yes, we can explain Leo's "Rosa" as, perhaps, an original model we were based on. This "Rosa" model then becomes real, and Deadoko can ride it. We also tie up that strange plotline Leo dropped.
>>
>>27734635
That does tempt me. Moonwalk mandatory.
>>
>>27734563
"You seem to be forgetting who has the power here, Konoko. I don't serve you - I'm STOOPING to help a non-entity out of the goodness of my own fricking heart. And of course, like an idiot, you refuse my help. Fine then. Goodbye."
>Leave her to rot
>>
>>27734660
>>27734633
Yeah, we'd have to explain this anyway. Why not do it in a way that draws less attention to us and more attention toward Leo. Act confused as fuck.
>>
>>27734563
I agree under a certain condition. You will bind yourself to me, and you can meet Konoko under your own power. We'll play this as a "superpowered evil side brought about because I wore your clothes once".

However, you may not or will not harm her any more that the narrative can take and you may not change the world alignment.
>>
>>27734563
Throw up a quick 360 and moonwalk the fuck out of there
>>
>>27734633
Rosa is our own name from before we lost our memory.

Which is true.

>>27734697
Do you REALLY want to let the insane dead woman who happily admits to wanting everyone to suffer in our body? Really?
>>
>>27734563
Just tell her we'll have to sleep on it.

Don't make any deals just yet, find a way to bring it up with Konoko.
>>
>>27734563
Could we put Deadoko in Cringer now and take Cringer/Deadoko to see Konoko, would that count for the task, if we bring Cringer to Konoko and let Deadoko talk through Cringer.

This could start a whole new subplot which could be used to strengthen the narrative as a whole possibly.

Get that 47% up to 50 and we're golden. The problem is Cringer is then possessed by a third person talking demon. Konoko likes Cringer enough to not Penalty Kick him straight through the goal posts of life.
>>
>>27734709
Then Deadoko (Rosa) can take a copy form of us, and claim to be the original. That makes us a fake Angel wearing Rosa's form, which fits with the lab shit.
>>
Miko refuses. Writing.
>>
>>27734729
>>27734709
>>27734633
>>27734660
>>27734681

So basically, by alluding to Rosa, we make a body and place for Deadoko to inhabit, letting her take up a new mantle.
>>
>>27734709
Sound fun IMHO. Allows us to strike back at Konoko without being responsible (in story), and it allows us to control a variable that's been darkening the story.
>>
>>27734723
Eh, but we like Cringer too.

I think this takes serious consideration.
>>
>>27734635

I know that Archimboldi is really more or less a sociopath, but letting someone flay our kitten's soul and stuff themselves inside seems kind of really cruel.
>>
>>27734729
Forgive for being stupid but I don't understand what you mean there at all.

I thought we were Rosa based on what Leopold said, not Deadoko.

Also, letting an insane uncharacter copy us and take form could be bad.
>>
>>27734761
Well tough break I guess. Now to run before she rages on us and hope the Narrative finishes the job on her.
>>
>>27734785
Archimboldi just doesn't have a character yet, that's all. It's up to you guys what she'll be.
>>
>>27734761
Not a harsh refusal, more just "I'll have to get back to you on that."

Because while it COULD be a good idea, we'd need to see if we need it.

Like try not to burn any bridges.
>>
>>27734785
She's a sociopath who's trying really hard to be a good person. So, that a big no to the kitty soul flaying.
>>
>>27734790
We're twisting his words. Leo knows the actual Rosa, the character from the previous story. We're going to claim that "Rosa" is instead the person on which Miko is based in this story, and that will be the role and body which Deadoko will take up.

We tie up two inconsistencies and fill the plothole
>>
Possess the cat sure. But don't overwrite it completely. Trust me, suddenly getting shoved back because the cat got distracted by a ball of yarn is narrative gold.
>>
>>27734773
Lets prioritize then.

1. Health Cringer vs. Healthy Narrative

2. Protagonist Role vs. Deadoko
or
Friendship Role w/Konoko vs. Unknown? +Deadoko?

Viking Batman Anonkun proxy battles against Exodium vs. Leopold and Miko skulduggery vs. Exodium
>>
>>27734797
Well, you can't play hardball when the other person holds all the cards and knows it.
>>
>>27734811
Well so far we've got absolute dedication to our own survival above all else, a thing for musclegirls, and a thing for making Leo's life hell, which Leo also seems to have a thing for.
>>
>>27734773
>>27734785
If we're binding anything at all, I rather do it to ourselves, nobody else should have to suffer for this.

But we're just walking away.

Also, if things go south, which they probably will, remember that we have Riritu fully foreshadowed. Just unlock her potential and summon her using her true name or something
>>
>>27734889
Well not in a "we're giving you the finger" but more a "I'll have to ask the second Konoko what she thinks about it, and see if we can manage a third option."
>>
>>27734790
Letting her clone us can also let us blame all of our previous problems on her.
>>
>>27734889
I know, but I get the feeling the angry spirit of spitefulness is not going to be happy.
>>
>>27734761

Well, we could always weaponize Riritu and use her as the vessel for Deadoko, but at the same time I would regret losing the comic relief. Also, am I the only one terrified of how blood thirsty she is while "sane".
>>
>>27734949
Well she's never happy.

But just remember to be diplomatic.

Like don't tell her "no" tell her "we'll see".

I just realized who Leopold is to us given how he's such a masochist it seems.
>>
Guys, showing up to taunt her with a way back into the plot and then walking away saying we're looking for a third option ... AGAIN is more than a little dickish. Remember, she's angry because sombody pulled Konoko on her, only much more thoroughly.

Let her have the cat. It's not like it actually has a personality or sapience.
>>
>>27734969
There's always sneaking in the clone. It wouldn't be hard to do by namedropping and training Anon, since we need to do that anyway.
>>
>>27734948
What I'm afraid of is if we let her clone us and shoulder our problems she could build her own narrative points and steal our role too if she gets out of control and we don't know what she's got tucked away. She clearly has enough points to survive being an uncharacter, we should tread lightly around that since she can use taking on our problems as foreshadowing for a complete replacement.
>>
>>27734988
Well... only if we can tweak our healing powers to exorcise evil spirits.

Like see just how annoying she would be to deal with.
>>
>>27735014
Our role and her role are clearly different, and we're also giving her a different name, backstory, and everything. The only thing shared is some basic appearance qualities. It'll be hard for her to write us out like that.
>>
>>27734992
Oh wait, even better: our backstory includes evil labs and cloning machines. Anon has his sister's clothing, so surely he has a genetic sample somewhere. And then once the clone is made, we use magic to shove the appropriate soul into it. This way we can at least give deadoko a specific plan and approximate timeline for her coming back
>>
>>27734988
Fuck no our cat is going to become much more than some dead bitches ride
It is going to become our battle cat and buff machine down the track

We can find a stray dog or stuffed animal to shove her in if you want to take that route
>>
>>27735041
WHY DIDN'T WE THINK OF THIS BEFORE TWEN STARTED WRITING. TWEN PLZ
>>
>>27735041
That could work.

Really, for a vengeance obsessed specter, Konoko MK I is remarkably pessimistic.
>>
>>27735051
Twen updates the thread when he's writing and looks at new respones/etc.

...I think.
>>
>>27734988
>Let her have the cat.
No and fuck you too
>>
>>27735046
I don't thing any old cat or dog can be her vessel. Only a magical one with a third eye.
>>
>>27735068
I think he does, he threw in admiring delicious brown musclegirl earlier which we didn't mention until after he started writing.
>>
>>27735046
...Oh yeah, stuffed animals are always fun.

>>27735041
Well I mean the point was that we can't trick Konoko 2 into coming to this place since she already knows about Konoko 1, so we can't make any promises because it's 2's call.

But we do think that she is MADE for this part.
>>
>>27735037
It would be difficult but again, we don't know how much narrative power she has, she's continuing to exist even with the plot hole expanding, if anything she's growing with the plot hole as it seems uncharacters are wont to do.

Miko should handle the issues herself if anything, and get all the juicy points from it.

I think anything to do with Deadoko is going to wind up going bad for us in the long run. Even turning her into a full on antagonist seems to me now to be a bad idea, her idea of antagonism might be totally meta in that she might want to destroy the narrative to draw out the guy who originally hurt her.
>>
>>27735041
Even simpler. She has necromancy powers from Anon.

Just grab a skeleton from a graveyard. Or hell, her own skeleton. Adds on bonus narrative tension since her identity is a mystery.

But she's decided to turn us down so tough luck.
>>
>>27735069
The cat is literally just a personality-less moeblob slave bound to our will. There is NO reason to resort to profanity over what is essentially a mobile piece of furniture. It's just a marionette and all giving it to Deadoko would do is change who pulled its strings
>>
>>27735134
Its still a goddamn cat.
>>
"No."
"She looks agape at you, you come to my home to refuse my generous offers."
"Look, babe- I'm being diplomatic here. And frankly, I'll probably still work to fit you in the story. Butttt, I can not in good conscience accept your offers here, you shrug, wait shit," You shrug, damn that shit is infectious, "I really do feel for you. But," You pat your hat, and the warm lump beneath, "I like my cat. And right now, frankly, I'm in the better position here. We'll see what I can do, I mean, I can foreshadow this- I got evil scientists, evil cultists, this can work!"

"And the other Konoko, she asks?"
"...I don't think it's gonna fit in the narrative here. I mean, I'll ask, but..."
"I see, she says," The maddening, rippling shadow swells at that, "She is really quite calm," You feel something whistle by your face, and lean back to look- that's a phone book embedded in the street, "She shakes her head sadly, but understands your position," You duck under a helicopter blade that tears open a sidewalk that bleeds milk, "And will look forward to dealings in the future. She bows apologetically, as it happens, I have business of my own, she says. Until next time," A cloud of cicadas burst forward, and at this point you run.

Good meeting.

You're not dead when you're leaning against the front gates to Konoko's manor. So, she wasn't THAT mad. Still. You swallow, adjust your clothes and pant a bit more, that might have gone better. Y'know, if she wasn't fucking nuts.

Whew. You stand and stretch and open the gate to walk to the front door- and there's Konoko, hands on the handlebars of her motorcycle, dragging it to the front.

Huh, no wonder why you noticed the gate. She looks surprised. She's wearing her motorcycle gear and helmet. Visor up. As soon as she sees you, she slaps it down.

"Miko," Her voice is muffled.
"Konoko," You reply.

Silence hangs between the two of you. Then she pushes her bike forward. Going for the road, probably.

>Your move.

Nah, I'm >>27735190 and I'm not really on board with the pretending to be non-sentient bit.
>>
>>27735248
I'm not trying to be passive aggressive either. We can do that, but I'm trying to avoid breaking character in front of the protagonist. Get that narrative health up as fast as possible.
>>
>>27735248
So, we're letting the person who backstabbed us know we're still alive and well?

I thought the plan was to act as much like a NPC as possible?

>>27735203
I thought we were doing it for friendship points. If we piss her off she's going to drive us away
>>
>>27735281
...She knows we're alive and well.

The plan is to make this story as healthy as possible, so we can last long enough to survive it.
>>
>>27735173
Trying to bring Deadoko back in the first place works against the narrative.
>>
>>27735271
I agree with you there, I don't think we should force the issue asking to go with is alright though, but pretending to be non-sentient is dumb as hell, Konoko knows it and the viewers know it, why act otherwise.
If Konoko rejects our request, I say go inside and lets see what our Foreshadowing with Slutty McHoebag resulted in. That way it happens out of narrative POV and if it's good we can go over it again in POV or if it's bad then it's not a problem anyway.
>>
>>27735305
She knows we're "alive". I thought we were playing an NPC shaped like Miko-chan.

Just clarifying.

Ok, just checking, I've been kinda skimming the discussion to catch up.
>>
walk with her
"You look down. Why don't we head to a movie or bookstore or something so we can have fun discussing the plot and picking apart the character motivations" (hinting that as meta as this discussion is going to get with the protagonist present, we'll need a excuse to talk about plots and characters without damaging the narrative)

SEMI LIE:

"How old do you think I am Konoko? How many stories do you think I've lived? I used to be like you once, so passionate, so desperate to carve out my place that I fought the other sapient characters. I grew out of it, I've seen worlds beyond plus or minus 5 and I've found that best way was for everybody to win, everybody to be friends. Not in the narrative neccessarily, but in the meta at least.

How, you might ask, does that work with what happened with Anon? How could that be "best for everyone"? Well the answer lies in our narrative strength. He was such a goddamn dumbass that he was toxic to the narrative as the MC. He was going to bring it all crashing down on us as he fought giant grizzly bear ants made from the constellations or something bullshit like that.He needed to be removed from the Protagonist position or else we'd all be dead.
>>
>>27735353
What?

That was just one person I'm pretty sure.

Semi-genuine support seems best.
>>
>>27735450
We were going for plot fixing and friendship points. In character doesn't mean fake, just in character.
>>
>>27735450
I was assuming he meant genuine support while remaining in character. Which is what I'm supporting.
>>
>>27735353
Exactly what I voted for right here. Need to heal up that narrative and get more friendship points
>>
>>27735438
>Speaking out of character in point of view is entirely possible at this point.

We're 47% so we can talk actively meta without a problem regardless of her role or the narrative POV, it might come back to bite us in the ass a long way down the road, but that would mean we somehow got the narrative health back up over 50%

If this OOC meta talk works to bring up that narrative health then I don't see an issue with it and no need to lie about it.

Sentients can't survive past +5/-5 the narrative is just too wild and concerned with the alignment to give a fuck about the sentients.

Konoko is still the protag, trying to show her up is probably a bad idea since she could trigger an event to prove just how important she is and we aren't. Remember, our role is the friend role, NOT HERS.

Alignment is still 0, bad stuff can happen.
>>
>>27735528
At most we should aim for a mentor role.

That should be the extent of our ambition.
>>
>>27735528
>Sentients can't survive past +5/-5

Yeah, this is kind of what I was thinking as well. When you go past 5 either way, the narrative stops caring about your metasentience and just forces you into the role for the sake of the story, because nothing sentient would be able to deal with such a bizarre/aberrant story.
>>
>>27735555
I think switching our roles too quick might damage the narrative.

If Konoko accepts us on the ride, ok, go with her, and listen to her, be a friend. Friends listen.

Perhaps if she does all the talking she might reveal something to us she didn't mean to because she might view her monologuing as a character development focus and forget we're even present.

If she declines it, go inside, and fuck riritu in the ass till she tells us what it was she was remembering earlier.
>>
"Hey, late night, huh?" You scratch the back of your head. Actually, HOW LONG HAS this night been going? Step in her path, and she halts.
"You, no," She shakes her head, "Stay out of my way."
"Aw c'mon, what's the matter? You okay, Konoko?"
"Nothing is okay!" She shouts that. Takes you aback. You step back. And you feel Cringer on your head suddenly perk up, his muscles tense. The mask dims it, as she looks away, "Nothing...Nothing. No, no, no," She stills, then turns to you, "I need to get going."

"Where?"
"Out," She pushes her motorcycle along, and you hastily step out of the way, "Just need to clear my head."

Bitch. She goes along, then halts at the gate. She turns to you, pulls up her visor. Huh, she has a little cut right under her eye.

"Thank you. And I-"

>0.2 Friendship points gained!
>New total, 0.70!

Whoa nelly, never mind. As you blink away the surprise, she slaps down the visor, the glove stretched over her knuckles.

"Don't get in my way again," She growls it. Then pushes her bike finally in to the road, and off it roars down the street.

>Character arc update- 51%!

Hm? You have a character arc? Huh. You'd forgotten about that. But still, you peer around the corner, seeing the red streak of her bike peeling away, you resolve that she just has to be a bitch.

The thought that she's involuntarily giving you power is somewhat pleasing. But rapidly, the world starts fading around you. Annoying. You hurry inside before the outside collapses totally.

Three sets of shoes, including your own. Meaning, regrettably, Shikibu had not joined the happy family. Just Anon and Riritu are here then. What a pain. Oh well.

There's another sentient out there at any rate. And apparently one gunning for you. Sheesh, what else is new in life. You curl up in bed, and contemplate just how much you needed sleep.

0.3 away from autonomy. Might be a good idea to get that before Konoko flips again.

>Short break for food. When starting up again- back to school.
>>
>>27735612
I meant eventually.
>>
Fuck it. Let's get Anon back to main character status.
>>
>>27735626
>.2
she sure is generous with those friendship points.

Now lets go in side and do >>27735612
>fuck riritu in the ass till she tells us what it was she was remembering earlier

We're out of POV so we probably could get away with actually doing it, though it's Riritu, and she might enjoy it.

Lets just ask her instead.
>>
>>27735651
Konoko doesn't seem to be handling the pressure of being the star too well. We'll get Anon ready to take over again, but we won't force her out of it just yet. She seems to be giving us power without thinking about it.
>>
>>27735626
>>27735651
Yeah no. He's much better as a side character, keep him there so we don't have to deal with the ecchi hijinks being shoved on us.
>>
>>27735683
>>27735651
>>27735688
We still need to do more work on him. We'll make him one of those funny, hotblooded comic relief guys. Works well both as a side character and as a protagonist. If Konoko can't handle her role, we'll give it back to him and hopefully we won't let him know that it has changed hands again
>>
>>27735651

He never needs to have that power again. He is still an asshat, a very dangerous one at that. Do we really want the adventures of Viking Batman from here on out? The dick practically stole our sentience last time we were alive.
>>
>>27735651
>>27735683
Hey, you remember that part where Anon was a shitty, crazy, unreasonably creepy protagonist? Because I do.
>>
>>27735651
Why would you ever want to take him out of his comic relief side character role? He's much better this way.
>>
>>27735651
>>27735683
Oh god no.

Anon can stay right where he is, comedy relief justicehobo, he was born to play that role.

Milk Konoko for friendship points while we can.

I'd love to stay and watch Viking Batman Hobo-kun do something else great, but I have to go to class tomorrow...today.
>>
>>27735722
>>27735737

He's crazy, but right now he's also malleable. I suggest we start working on that right away. Hopefully he NEVER has to step up again, but we want him to be ready to do so. That means less hobo viking batman specifically, and more fostering his comical hero role. Same thing, basically, but decidedly less insane. We can do this safely right now, so we should.

Contingencies, people, contingencies.
>>
>>27735626
I think protag status just turns you into a douche. Maybe involuntarily.
>>
>>27735681
I can see it now.

Oh Riritu <3 can't sleep~~~ find me some cream cheese and Konoko's baseball bat. It's time you and I played some MLB and I'm ready to go into extra innings. Of course, I'm pitching.

Now...tell me what you remembered earlier when your eyes turned red and glowy~~~~~^^
>>
Oh wow. We're getting friendship points from the person who thinks they killed us. We're going to be her best friend, while she'll be convinced she locked us in a basement until we were an empty shell.

And we'll always be by her side where she can remember that.
>>
>>27735768
I vote that we make a new protagonist from scratch before we even consider letting Anon run amok on the story again. He's a danger to himself and others when he is running the show.
>>
>>27735805
It really is the best revenge
>>
>>27735768
If anyone is going to step up it should be us, or interestingly enough, we could duct tape some balls onto Leopold and turn him into the protagonist, an ex-anti-CRUCIFIX-traitor-traitor fighting for the young girl he raised in a lab till a terrible accident resulted in her freedom but loss of memory.
>>
>>27735806
That's going to take considerably more effort than running Anon through some montages and correcting his behavior while we have the impetus to do so. He's been incredibly receptive so far.
>>
>>27735805
I'm going to be kind and supportive whether you like it or not! Ahahahahahahaha!
>>
I'm against letting Anon back into the Protag.

For now, we should research the friendship ritual circle to bind Riritu to us. Use those vaguely defined books from before.
>>
>>27735842
He's also managed to be completely retarded the whole time.

While I don't mind fixing him up a bit, Konoko should stay protag unless she completely cracks.
>>
>>27735805
What are you talking about?

Did we spend narrative points somewhere that I missed to turn ourselves into someone different?

She thought she got rid of anon-kun and us. But she clearly saw both of us come back. Unless I missed something critical, or Konoko is dumber than a bag of fucking rocks, she knows it's us and is only confused as to how we escaped.
>>
>>27735840
Leopold isn't hot-blooded enough to be the star of a Sports Story. Even a magical one. We've already discussed the dangers of assuming the protagonist position, so we're not going to do that.

In the end, Anon is just convenient and trainable.

>>27735868
Exactly this. I hope that we don't have to use him like that. Once more, I hope we do not make Anon the protagonist again. All I'm saying is that he's gotta be ready because Konoko seems unstable.
>>
>>27735877
We are hoping that she believes we've lost our sentience.

Even if she doesn't, there's not much she can do right now without breaking character.
>>
>>27735884
Anon is the backup backup plan. If things go to shit and Konoko goes batfuck insane, we put him in the job but ONLY as a last resort.

Meanwhile we train him for the position just in case.

God, we're a control freak.
>>
>>27735868
Just consider respecing Anon to be insurance, rather than using him as an outright replacement. Someone funny, but dependable, who can hopefully help prop up Konoko some more

>>27735941
Pretty much. Actually, I'm hoping we can turn Anon into husbando material for Konoko. He clearly wants to be that, but is retarded and doesn't know how.
>>
>>27735844
Always there for her. Always at her back, never letting her down, always coming through in the end. Total, unquestioning, undying loyalty. Samwise Gamgee loyalty. 'I waited for you Fry' level loyalty.

Oh yes, we're going to be the best friend she has ever had or will ever have.
>>
>>27735805
What, that's not what's going on at all I don't think.

We're not pretending to be non sentient, we're just being professional.

Also we don't want her crazy and unstable.
>>
>>27735884
Sure he is, he just hasn't realized his feelings yet, after working for years on the ultimate clone miko soccer team, ready to take the universe soccer championship blast event bonanza by storm in the name of Anti-CRUCIFIX, an organization that proved to be far more evil than he ever considered at first. He infused all his ability and knowledge into his prize, his first and only Miko, but she was a bird trapped in a gilded cage. So he staged an attempt to free her, however she was hurt in the escape and lost her memory. Exodium is ever present waiting for Leo to finish work on the rest of the Miko's to complete the team. However Exodium still wants the original Miko to captain it, resulting in him chasing Miko.

One day, Leo will step up and face down Miko's hunter Leo, when it's double overtime and on the last penalty kick, only will his true colors shine.

capcha >absurdity Dynamer
it's his ultimate move
>>
>>27735988
We're being professional. Konoko thinks we're an NPC created to fill the void.
>>
If it comes down to it, and she just asks us a straight question, we give her a straight answer. No half-truths or indirect responses.
>>
>>27736004

It's cummings from Canaan
>>
>>27735973
Just a couple threads ago we were fully willing to burn everything to the ground for the chance that she might get caught in the flames.

And now, the malevolence is still present, but the threat is of friendship rather than violence.

Ironic, isn't it?
>>
>>27736004
Mmm, I'm lukewarm on it. I think Leopold works better as a villain.
>>
>>27735928
Stop being edgy.

We don't want that at all, because we genuinely want Konoko as sane and happy as possible, since that makes things so much easier on us.

Petty vengeance isn't productive.
>>
>>27736034
?? Really?

I must have missed something, because I thought Konoko was surprised at our escape. But mistakenly thinks Anon had something to do with it.

Twen, we need an adult!

Tell us or clarify for us if we know that Konoko knows we're who we are, or if she thinks we're just a plot device written in by the narrative.

I'm pretty certain the narrative only fills in minor inconsistencies at this point so replacing a character is not something it does at 47% maybe if it were lower though.
>>
>>27736051
And back.

Haven't seen Canaan. How is it?

Also, seems we want to talk to Riritu. So, let's interrogate Riritu before beddy bye. Writing.

Speaking of which, sensing a great deal of players going to sleep, so I'll try to wrap this up soon.
>>
>>27736068
Knowing we're alive won't help keep her sane or happy, either out of guilt or paranoia.

So we pretend to be a supportive NPC, since it's the best course of action for everyone, but especially us since we can reap easy points like this. It's not vengeance, it's just being practical.
>>
>>27736034
I don't think she thinks that, since that seems like the kind of thing to make her make reckless decisions.

Vindictiveness is not a good motivation.
>>
>>27736104
Good a time as any I think to meet with Riritu with out anyone else to barge in on us.
>>

>>27736104
Canaan is pretty neat.

It also has the most Yandere lesbian I've ever seen in an anime to date. Cummings is the super smart guy that basically runs the bad girls company for her, and has the hots for the Yandere enforcer that's totally in love with the bad girl. He has trouble admitting his affection openly, hiding it and being in general suffering for pretty much the entire series till major spoilers happen.
>>
>>27735941
We're a good control freak. Even if he doesn't become a protag again, we're making an excellent husbando for our BFF Kono-chan.
>>
>>27736192
Why must you guys make aiming for a good end be bad?

Don't forget or let our guard.down, but otherwise act like the bigger person and let go.
>>
>>27736104
Twen, you're the best. I might actually be able to sleep before classes today.
>>
>>27736181
Now that IS a possiblity, creating an entity to fill a plot hole for a scene is something that could happen at the 35-50% range. But it's unlikely the entity is anything more than just a little ball of spite chained up to the wall barking about Konoko's inevitable betrayal.
>>
>>27736270
I just like the idea of friendship as revenge. Revenge entirely based around confusing her as to why we aren't angry. It's wonderfully ridiculous.
>>
>>27736211
Leopold/cummings has it for us? So who does that make us Yandere for, autonomy?

Hunh...that does make sense.
>>
Also, can we find the damn lab so we can get Deadoko's dna sample cloned and control Deadoko or something.
>>
>>27736296
Guys. That Miko in the basement is the real us.

We're the replacement.
>>
>>27736270
Personally, I just want to twist the knife a little by being nice to her after what she did to us. If she has anything like a heart, we don't need to be vindictive. She'll do that to herself.

Hell, we can call it a character arc.
>>
>>27736325
Doing anything to bring Deadoko back into the plot is a bad idea. She is violent and destructive.

>>
>>27736340
This is why we're acting in character more, and suddenly being less bitchy. Even our "out of character" stuff is actually the replacement acting according to how the narrative viewed us.
>>
>>27736340
nope. stop saying that.
because the miko in the basement has by my track about .05 narrative points left

>Forgot Cringer bonus. .72 Friendship Pool.

Right, first things first- time to find Riritu, see if you couldn't shake any more plot out of her. Or get a grip on her plot. God, no, no, can't waste time.

It's pretty damn dark, and at the cost of many stubbed toes, you manage to reach her room, slip open the door, and slip inside.

You're somehow not surprised to hear her snoring like a lumber mill.

"Riritu," You whisper.

She emits more awful gasping noises. Come to think of it, maybe her bust was inconvenient- sleeping on her back like that, she had to have trouble breathing considering this meaty masses on her- focus. You raise a finger and, after some consideration, poke her in the forehead.

"Whathlthhnnnn," She murmurs, turning away. A few more jabs, and the demon awakens. A flash of red light from her eyes as she opens them, and then flops upright fingers lengthening in to claws, "WHO DARES VIOLATE THE SLUMBER OF-"
"Anon-kun's sleeping," You whisper. Immediately, her eyes are blue, and she's demure.
"Oh~ oh no, I haven't put on any make up!" She looks away, hands on her cheeks, "Kyaa, you must think I'm so ugly!"

You're tempted to try out your shield on her for such brazen false modesty, but you stifle the thought.

"Say, Riritu, remember earlier? We were talking about a lab, you mentioned a throne?"
"I did?" Riritu chews her finger, thinking hard- a rare sight, "Hmm, no, I would remember that."
"Cut the crap. You have ten fingers, I have ten questions," You crack your knuckles, "Don't make me spell it out for you."
"Oohh<3! Miko-chan's so butch!"

You get the feeling you'll have to draw out her 'dark side' for the truth. Along with all the worries that'll come with her dark side.

>Your move.

"C'mon red eyes. This isn't a clearasil commercial, Ben Stein isn't around, it's safe to come out," You flick Riritu in her forehead. While she looks annoyed, she doesn't get demonic.
"Nyaaa~ Miko-chan is so crueeeeelllll."

Hm. Well. You glance at Riritu's plump, kissable lips. What the hell, right? She's a succubus. She'd be in to this, right? God, why do people describe certain lips as kissable even?

Oh well.

"Pucker up, babe."
"Huh? Mikommmmmmf<3!"

It's not so bad. You consider it, moving your lips around hers, sucking on her lower one. Hm. Tastes like cinnamon. Damn, you haven't had a cinnabon in a long time. She gasps as you chew lightly on the lower lip, and starts giggling. Yeah. She likes that. Man, why'd Konoko ever turn you down on this. You shut your eyes. You are the make out master. You reach up, grab her behind her head, pull her in deeper, plunge your tongue in. She moans around your lips, the hum tickling your teeth. You smile, and draw back-

She grips your head and pulls you back.
"Not done," She hisses. You open your eyes. Hoo boy, red. What was that term? Well you got her-

And you're slammed in to the floor, her straddling you, her mouth on yours. You try to draw it away. Man, she's got some admirable excitement, but-
"Did you think I'd forget," She's not talking at this point. Just directly in your head, "The way you turned against me? Against the one that summoned me? Ahura Mazda's cur, you have gone too far this time."

Mazda's a kind of car. Did they name that after the god, you wonder? Man, your lips are going numb. You feel a hand traveling up your side. Gee, you're sleepy.

"I was summoned by Anon," She detaches her mouth from yours- it sounds like a suction cup. Is it cold in here? Steam's rising from your mouth, going to hers, "This body is his. And what are you?"

A badass! Is what you'd say. If you weren't so numb. One hell of a kiss on that gal. Lilith grins above you.

I mean can you honestly tell me that they didn't expect this to happen?

Don't negate all our hard work because if some facetious jackasses.

Well, the basic goal *was* accomplished.

She's gone demon again, it just took rather more effort than was desired.
>>
>>27736799
The one that knew a trainwreck coming and changed the tracks. He wasn't suited for the task, being weak and foolish, needed to grow and mature before being ready to strive for greatness or the guys at crucifix would go for his head.

In the end that task was not for me alone, and needed someone to teach him, someone competent and not the air-headed girl he turned you into.

Or something like this?
>>
>>27736889
I knew that'd happen when I suggested it. Just didn't think /tg/ would actually go for it. No matter, we can work with this.
>>
>>27736847
Do this. It's even telling the truth for once.
>>
Anon will be made stronger through our efforts. Writing.

After this, I'm going to bed. It's pretty late for me.
>>
>>27736932
Sure, same here.
>>
>>27736932
Understood. Have a nice night.
>>
>>27736799
The one who brought you back from the brink.

I know a thing or two about demons, namely that get literally intoxicated on people with auras like Anon's.

Had I not gotten him to rein in his abilities and allowed you to sober up, you might have overdosed.
>>
>>27736946
>Understood. Noblesse oblige. I pray for your continued diligence as a QM.
Fixed.
>>
Great stuff Twen. Goodnight.
>>
>>27736968
Understood. I will use that whenever I begin a sentence beginning with the word "Understood". Noblesse Oblige. I pray for your continued service as a anonymous poster.
>>
Well, I'm helping Anon. Y'know, making him stronger and stuff. And I helped you for that matter while I was at it. And, say, you sure are pretty.

Your jaw moves a centimeter. Lilith leans in, hooks her finger in your mouth, behind the lower teeth, and pulls it back down.

"There has always been this quintessential misunderstanding between mortals and immortals- they think we're here for their pleasure. Draw a little circle of chalk on the ground, light a few candles, maybe slit an animal's throat. And suddenly, here we are, to amuse and benefit you. Priestess. Do you think me simple?"

Not a priestess, you think with some agitation.

"A demon comes for one reason," She works her finger in, running it down the teeth, along the base of your mouth, underneath your tongue, "To cause suffering."

She flips up your tongue, and starts pushing it back in your throat. Your eyes widen. Your airflow is being reduced.

"I help Anon to cause more suffering in this world. His cursed blood ensures that."

Who gives a fuck about Anon god damn it, you might be a satan. More than that, lab! Lab! You think in earnest, LAB! You feel the base of your mouth hurt as Lilith pushes the tongue further- then rubs a sharp fingernail at the base of the tongue.

"I will encourage him. And you will not turn him to the path of righteousness, despite your," And at this, Lilith grounds the words out between her teeth, "Indiginities. Oh, look at that," You taste pennies. Some fluid starts going down your throat, causing you to swallow- and you feel the tip of your tongue slip by your tonsils, "Having a good time, dear?"

You can't breathe. You wish you could move, do something, fight back- okay, this'll fuck the narrative, right? There's no way. You're the friend of the main character. Your death has to have meaning, right? Lilith carefully pushes your jaw shut. You're starting to black out.

"Let's take your remains back to the lab, Miko-chan."

Great. Damsel time.

Hopefully.

>Good night.

Well, of course I'm not going to end the quest like this.

Next session, I don't know at the moment. I have to run L5R and go to hospitals and familys. I think I can sneak in a session at my family's, but I don't know for sure. So, for now, a cautious Wednesday 22:00. I'll post on the twitter when I know for sure.

FAMILIES. Truest sign I need to sleep. Night.

It was only a matter of time before we decided to get busy with the succubutts. Even knowing its a terrible idea, /tg/ can't resist the succubutts.
