"Zola is a Guardswoman, too. It would be disrespectful of us not to impede her from performing her duty. I believe in her. I know she'll be fine."

"I suppose..." Mercuria is not entirely convinced, but she knows there is sound logic in your words.

"Besides, it might actually do her good. Keep her mind off the recent tragedies." You add.

"Before we continue, Joachim", Rahman interrupts, "I believe I might have an idea of whom we are looking for."

"Oh? That's great! Rahman, please share that information with us." Well, it finally seemed like you'd be getting somewhere.

"While we were still in planet Carillion, before I met you all, I was travelling together with a Cadian Regiment. I overheard them speaking about an Ultramarines Captain that saved a Forge World known as Graia, and as a reward for his noble efforts, saw himself being accused of heresy and apprehended by the Inquisition. The Cadians seemed to be very agitated when it came to that topic, I even overheard their CO was perhaps the most indignant when it came to this situation."

"That sounds like the person we might be looking for. A 「Wrongfully Accused」 Ultramarines Captain...Rahman, do you have any idea what this person's name might be?"

"Why yes," answered the Psyker, "his name is Titus, Captain of the Ultramarines' 2nd Company."

"Let's go look for Zola. Maybe she's still at the Cargo Bay?"

Deciding to go there next, you and your two friends arrive at where you saw Zola last.

When you go inside, you are met with a rather bizarre sight: the Eldar warrior Zola had been speaking with before was trying to fit on Zola's helmet.

"Is it too tight, Yuu? Oh, I can't imagine how uncomfortable it has to be on your ears..."

"It's fine kid..it really is fine." It wasn't fine, the guy was clearly wincing.

"What's going on here?!" Mercuria exclaimed, more out of surprise than anger.

Zola looks up at where the rest of your entourage was standing. "O-oh! Mercuria and the others! Uhm, this is..."

She stammers with her answer. "Uhm, that is, ah..."

"Hey, you JoJo, Mon'keigh?" The Eldar asks, and as if already knowing the answer, continues ,"Name's Yuu'yan. Yuu'yan Fughamist. And I'm comin' with you guys whether you like it or not."

"What?" Exclaims Mercuria.

"For the deaf mon'keighs in the audience, I said I'm going with you. You all seem like you need some serious manpower down there, as well as someone to watch your medic's back. And also, you, sir," he points at JoJo, "really ought to put something on, walking around with a nude chest and all."

"If you lay a finger on her in any ungentlemanly fashion, I'll make sure you answer for it," you blurt out, taking the most threatening stance you can think of.

"Tch! You damn Mon'keigh, always thinking everyone else has some sinister motive behind their actions. You're lucky I like the kid enough to still decide to help you.

You walk down the flight of wraithbone stairs and get a closer look at the Eldar man. The helmet he is wearing has a retractable visor, so that should take care of obscuring his features enough so that nobody realizes he's a xenos when down on the planet. The only other thing that doesn't exactly blend is a couple of rather small chin tattoos that seem to be modeled after certain Eldar emblems. Nothing the straps of the helmet shouldn't cover when latched together.

"Oooh~...so you are taking some of us with you down below? Can I go?" Criehr approaches you from behind, startling you. As you turn around...she trips onto you.

In but a few seconds, you realize you're flat on your back on the floor, Criehr laying on top of you. Her right hand is pressed firmly on your chest...

they keep showing up because Battle Tendency keeps happening.
In one time line, Suzy Q is open to 3somes.

Human extinction followed within a dozen generations, because literally every human being was closer than 2 iterations cousins.

In another time line, Cars was a girl. The volcano was a metaphor.

In yet another timeline, Jotaro didn't exist, and had to go back in time to help convince Holly that his dad, the Random Japanese dude, was a legit good guy, which involved saving Holly from Biff Tannen's attempted rape (also Biff was a Zombie in service of DIO)

In another timeline, Johnathan Joestar was not, in fact, a Gentleman. He channeled the Ripple to become powerful, but didn't use the Ripple to save his father, or protect Erina, or really save the world from evil. Millions died, billions of damage was done, and then only after all that happened, does Johnathan just up and murder the evil aliens who also have Sun-derived strength.

My favorite universe is the one where everyone has stands. they keep them next to their bed to hold alarm clocks, glasses, cups of water, lamps for bed reading, you know, whatever seems appropriate.

"Oh, don't worry about that!" she answers. "So long as I can wear your helmet, JoJo, I can definitely take care of the rest of the body. I AM an Artisan, after all, even if I haven't been for very long."

"Fantastic, I will entrust it to your abilities." you respond. "Also...Yuu'yan, this is a little embarrassing to ask, but I need to ask you a favor with something."

"...I suppose I can comply, Mon'keigh."

"................I really need to borrow a shirt."

Silence.

After a while, he hands you a jet-black, form-fitting, sleeveless shirt. It doesn't fit your torso quite entirely, but it was definitely better than going around without anything to cover you up.

As you and your three Guardsmen companions converge in your cabin, and start gearing up, a comm system blares up.

"Joachim, Weather Girls is within Ultramar. I can take her down in one of three planets: Parmenio, Talasa Prime, or Macragge. Which one should it be?"

You realize you don't really have much knowledge in terms of the layout of Ultramar, and no idea where to start searching for this Captain Titus.

As if sensing your confusion, Rahman speaks: "Macragge is, as you already know, the Ultramarines' chapter Home World. Parmenio is, I believe, a Training Planet for the Ultramarines. On the other hand, Talasa Prime is an Inquisition Fortress-World."

So that's that.

"Macha, are you tired? Using your Stand for so long must be tiresome."

"Uhm? Oh, nothing like that. I'm actually on my bed. I pretty much direct Weather Girls' long distance travel unconsciously." She states matter of factly. "...Thanks for asking, though." she added sweetly. "If you're so concerned, though, you can come visit me. I wouldn't mind."

You feel Mercuria and Zola's eyes on you. The former had, for the lack of a better term, a wide shit-eating grin on her face, while the latter just seemed to sparkle with the curiosity of a young woman watching a forbidden romance unfold.

"I-in any case! Macha, can you set everything up so we can land in Parmenio?"

"No problem, Joachim. I'll get back to you later."

With that, the communications are cut, and your attention is brought back to the Inquisitorial gazes of the two women in the room with you (you thanked the Emperor that Rahman seemed utterly uninterested in the recent exchange)

"So, you two are on first-name basis now? When's the wedding?" Mercuria teased while attempting her best at looking innocent. How cruel.

"Oh, shush, Mercuria. You know it's not like that!" Your rebuttal is apparently taken with a mountainload of salt, as the two females continued with their unrelenting stares.

[I am convinced now that the dice roller is actually being subtly rigged by Macha in some way or another. Curse that foul xeno witch magic.]

Ignoring your two companions, you excuse yourself and head for the cafeteria. Explaining yourself, you are given freshly-made sweets by Trussandros (who would not stop giving you a thumbs-up while repeatedly nodding his head and smiling in the strangest way possible for some reason). You barely catch their name, 'marrons glacé', and are told they are some of Macha's favorites. You take them to her room, and her eyes light up as soon as she sees them.

She essentially jumps out of bed for them, too.

Well, you've done something rather nice for your host, who has been working very hard for you and your mission.

You decide to check up on the disguises. You excuse yourself from Macha's presence, and head towards's Criehr's room.

As you step into Criehr's room (after knocking, of course), you see your helmet, which has been appropriated by Criehr, sitting on top of a small desk. Now directing your vision towards the two Eldar on the center of the room, you realize that the two of them are wearing perfect reproductions of your Regiment's uniform, sans Flak Jackets.

"Wow. Those really do seem identical." Criehr certainly has a talent for these things. You're impressed she managed to throw them together in such little time, too.

"I'm glad you think that, JoJo!" She replies enthusiastically. "Now, here's your dress uniform back." She had indeed borrowed the top of your uniform in order to emulate it.

"How did you get the pants done?"

"I used my sketch from last night as a model, of course!"

Clever girl.

"Now, there's one thing I'm wondering about, JoJo...how are we going to distribute the equipment you guys have amongst us all?"

She had a point. Little Imperial equipment needs to be distributed among several of you. How do we do this?

>Distribute x2 Lasrifles, x3 Laspistols, x6 Frag Grenades, x3 Combat Knives, x1 Chainsword, x3 Canteens, and x2 Krak Grenades amongst Joachim, Mercuria, Zola, Rahman, Yuu'yan, and Criehr. Brahman already has his 「Psyker Scepter」, while Zola automatically carries 「Field Emergency Medical Supplies」 with her.

Rahman: Psyker Scepter, Laspistol, Canteen

Zola: Lasgun, Field Emergency Medical Supplies, Canteen

Trick the Warp Spider out with Mercuria's Lasgun and one of her Frags. Mercuria has her stand to rely on while Yuu'yan can be a better shot.
>>
>>27719309
She hasn't awoken her Stand yet, only JoJo and Abdul the Psyker.
>>
>>27719549

Ah, but still, it's better to give the lasgun to the better shot.
>>
>>27719570
Really, because I thought giving the Lasgun to someone who's actually trained in its use extensively and who doesn't have a stand to fall back on would be the better option.

Give Zola a Laspistol instead, she's a trained medic, she should only be using a weapon in case of emergency, as the only one who could heal, it's important we keep her away from the actual combat.
>>
>>27719639

Eldar are naturally more skilled. Things like Guardians exist because they don't need training. And these are Aspect Warrior. You could hand them a butter knife and they'd kill more dudes than a guardsman with a chainsword. Guardsman training is super rudimentary.

Besides Yuu'yan is sworn to protect Zola so it'd be good to have a decently equipped body guard to look out for our most vulnerable member.
>>
>>27719771

Actually yeah, it's probably better to take the lasgun away from Zola.

Infact that's what he *did* do as soon as his master disguse was foiled.
>>
[Guess who's back home?

Well, I do see that everyone agrees on the fact that it's Criehr who should carry the Chainsword, and that Yuu'yan should carry a Lasrifle with him.

As such, this is one possible loadout:

>Joachim - Combat Knife, 2x Frag Grenade, Krak Grenade
>Mercuria - Combat Knife, Laspistol, Lasrifle, 2 Frag Grenades
>Rahman: Psyker Scepter, Canteen
>Zola: Laspistol, Field Emergency Medical Supplies, Canteen
>Criehr: Chainsword, Laspistol, 1 Frag Grenade, Krak Grenade
>Yuu'yan: Lasrifle, 1 Frag Grenade, Combat Knife

I'll establish a special NM. This one does not require a roll. If you have no objections with this loadout, just say you're fine with it. If you're not, just add your suggestions.

So, NM 4, no rolls needed.

We X-COM now.]
>>
>>27730859
Mercuria doesn't really need the laspistol - she'll have her hands full with the lasrifle, and if things get so bad she runs out of ammo she'll have a Stand to fall back on. I say give Zola the second laspistol - mostly because I have a soft spot for dual-wielding pistols. If that's not acceptable, it would probably be a good idea to give our JoJo a ranged weapon beyond the grenades.
>>
>>27730859

I'm okay with that cap'n.
>>
>>27730926

"Having second thoughts?" Yuu'yan interjects, coyly grinning at Mercuria's possible display of weakness.

"In your dreams, pointy ears. JoJo's going, so I'm going. I go where he goes. So far that's worked for me, and I'm sure it will keep workin' for a long, long time." Mercuria defiantly states.

"...Lady Criehr, I would advise against that. We're going into a danger zone, not a vacation." It was Rahman who decided to shatter her Astartes-sketching dreams. She pouts, more cutely than angrily.

"How are you guys feeling about all of this?" you decide to ask no one in particular.

"I think it's absolutely nuts, but our powers are meant to be nuts, too, so I'll pull through!" Mercuria answers.

Rahman is the next to speak his piece: "I have never met an Ultramarine before, and from what I hear, Captain Titus is what one should truly strive to be. If he is being condemned by his peers for something he has no fault on, that's a feeling I know all too well as a Psyker. More than anything, I'd like to help the good Captain."

Zola stays quiet for a moment, as in reflecting what to say next. When she does speak, her statement is quite blunt. "Father said this: if you ain't fightin', you ain't livin'. So let's fight."

Criehr, as always, seems to be a bit out of it. "Ohhh, it'll be fun!" You decide not to ask her to explain her reasoning. It could be a cause for concern.

Yuu'yan is the last to speak. "...I've fought Space Marines before and come out on top, but by the skin of my teeth. Mon'keigh, make sure to avoid confrontation at all costs."

So, for all extents and purposes, you and your party are psychologically prepared for the incredible undertaking you are about to get yourselves into: infiltrating the realm of Ultramar and rescuing someone who might not even want to be rescued by the likes of you.

Sounds like another day in the office, all right.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvonLNQiQUQ

>>27731958

You head towards the inner deck together with your five companions, all decked out and ready for the upcoming mission.

Macha is waiting for you there.

"I take you are all ready?" You nod.

"I'll be transporting you now, then. Everybody huddle up."

You hear some fast-paced music come from the comm system. Its instrumentation is rather fast, and not at all what you'd expect to hear in an Eldar ship. Still, you can't help but like it.

"Oh, hey, that's my jam." Yuu'yan says as he hears the music. "Seems these guys want me to make an entrance."

Before long, all of you are pressed tightly together. Since there is contact, Macha can teleport you all together.

Standing in front of you is Mercuria. Behind you is Criehr, and behind her is Rahman. Behind Rahman, Yuu'yan, and finally Zola.

"You ready?" You all nod in unison, in frightening synchronicity.

Before long, Weather Girls touches you. And then, you are no longer in the Inner Deck of the Eldar Transport, but instead you find yourself on a clearing in one of the lush forests of Parmenio. The 'Bronze Body' Weather Girl floats in front of you.

"You guys made it! Well, not that there's any surprise in that." You notice Macha's voice comes from the black area between the Weather Girl's eyes, and right below it. You finally realize that it might be meant to be a 'speaker'. "In any case", the Stand continues for Macha, "I did some small reconnaissance for you. To the north, there seems to be a city. I saw Space Marine Scouts with the populace. To the east, it seems a group of people set up camp. West from your location, there's nothing I could see from my end due to the dense foliage, but you might want to check it out. And south...well, southward, I think I saw some Space Marine scouts running training exercises. I'll let you decide where to go from there."

"And why not advise us as we go?" asked Yuu'yan.

"There's your answer."

A beat. It takes Yuu'yan a few seconds to realize it, but he was speaking to a disembodied voice.

"The sound I transmit through my Weather Girls" Macha points out "can be heard even by those who do not have Stands. So even if I've got full visual, I really shouldn't speak to you guys unless you're completely alone."

That makes sense. A mysterious voice like that could definitely arise suspicion. You make a mental note of this fact. Could come in handy later.

"We really should get going" Zola adds. "The sooner we achieve our objective, the sooner we can get out from this situation."

>Go North. There might be important information to be had in the city.
>Go West. Macha might have missed something important.
>Go East. A camp will have a lower population count than a city, and it might be best to be seen by as few people as possible.
>Go South. The Training Grounds might hold important information.

"My fellows, what do you think about each of the options?"

Yuu'yan is the first to speak. "Better go West. Stay unseen. See what we find. If Farseer Macha couldn't see what was there with her ability, then that means it's got to be great to keep us in the lowdown. These uniforms should blend right in with the environment, too."

"Ah, but we have no way of knowing if we'll find anything valuable there." Rahman objects Yuu'yan's proposition. "It might be a good idea to head East, towards the camp. We can remain unseen easily enough while we assess the situation."

Mercuria shakes her head profusely. "You guys got it all wrong! We should go to the city. More people equals more places to get information! Plus there might be a bar or somethin'. Where there's bars, there's drunks, and where there's a drunk, there's also a blabbermouth."

"I want to go to the training place!" Criehr raises her hand. "I want to see if the Space Marine kiddies are cute!"

Everyone just stops discussing and instead stare at Criehr. You have to admit, she has a knack for defusing arguments.

"Zola?" you ask, "what about you? Any ideas?"

"No real preference, Joachim.", she replies. "I think everyone has made pretty good points for where we should head to." With 'everyone', you're going to assume she meant 'everyone but Criehr'.

"...North. Mercuria is right. The more people in the place, the better chances of us getting information." Yes, it might present its own dangers, but it was your best chance right now.

After some deliberation, everyone agrees with your judgment. You begin the trek northwards. After about 45 minutes worth of walking, you can see the city in the horizon, its large buildings spreading throughout the landscape.

Realizing you're about to go into a populated settlement while technically off-duty...carrying weaponry inside is not the best idea.

Once you discuss this little detail with your comrades, Weather Girls Bronze transmits Macha's voice.

"I can hold on to those for you and transport them back when you're out of the city."

Soon enough, your group has gotten rid of all their weaponry, with the exception of the Combat Knives, and, of course, Canteens, Psyker Scepter, and Medical Kit.

A few of you have ought to feel quite naked right about now, walking into the wolf's maw without anything to defend yourselves, but attracting attention by packing heat seemed like a worse idea.

Realizing something else, you decide to check the money you have on hand.

>In total, your party has 350 Throne Gelts (TG)

Just in case you need to spend some money.

After some more walking, your party is within the city. Many walk its streets, and you do not have any idea where to start searching.

Knowing your Investigations 101 from stories featuring Adeptus Arbites weeding out Chaos cults, you decide to head towards a nearby tavern.

As you walk in, you survey your surroundings: on the left, there appears to be a group of PDF soldiers chatting vividly with those whom appear to be...from their uniform, Cadian Guardsmen? (You swear to the Emperor, those guys are everywhere).

Somewhere in the far back, you see a man who appears to be...an Adeptus Astartes. That strikes you as very odd, as you had heard that the Emperor's Angels of Death do not frequent these places.

At the bar, there is a balding man with thin white hairs scrubbing a mug with a piece of cloth, and you presume this man to be the owner. Finally, there is a woman sitting all alone in a table on the right. She, too, is wearing a Cadian Guards woman getup.

"Indeed I am, my Lord. But that is, as of now, unimportant." You respond dismissively. "I wish to test my mettle against the Emperor's Finest myself. Sire, would you do me the honor of engaging in an arm-wrestling contest with me?"

The tavern goes silent. Soon afterwards, you hear the PDF/Cadian group burst into laughter. The Guardswoman, however, stares at you with unbridled interest. So does the Ultramarine.

"Are you certain of what you are saying, Guardsman? You might be injured severely, or worse, should I accept your challenge."

"I am well aware, sire. But as a servant of the Emperor, I wish to become stronger and stronger still. If I am to do so, I must set my goals high, and what better way than to become as strong as an Astartes, the mightiest warriors the universe has ever known?"

"I admire your spirit, Guardsman. To refuse your challenge would be to refuse that glorious determination as well. Whichever Chapter overlooked such a determined youth has made a great mistake. You would have been an excellent Astartes."

"My lord, I thank you for your kind words - but my planet has no Chapter recruiting from it."

"'Tis a shame, Guardsman."

Before you know it, your arm and the Marine's are clasped together by the hands, their elbows resting on the sturdiest table in the tavern. There is a circle of spectators around you, several even making bets against you. So much for 'fellow Guardsmen'.

What I mean to say is that Low Rider's Destructive Power is B, and since [Removing Friction] isn't inherintly destructive, (like say Fugo's Purple Haze.] It's Destructive Power means it comes from soley from our Stand's physical strength, like Star Platinum or Crazy Diamond, but to a lesser extent.
>>
For anyone new to Jojo, a Stand with A rank strength has the ability to casually punch a hole through someone's torso, shatter boulders by punching them, or tossing parts of buildings at them as a distraction.

The only Stand I can recall with a Destructive Power of B was The Hand, which had a quasi black hole on it's hand.

As the Started let's loose his strength, you find yourself using all of your strength to fight back.

It works...for all of five seconds, after which you find your whole body bending towards the other end of the table.

You lost. Badly. Your arm is sore, but still uninjured.

"Guardsman." The Ultramarine speaks. "The fact that you could even oppose my strength at all tells me all I need to know about you. Yours truly is a spirit stronger than steel. I must know your name."

"Joachim." You answer. "Joachim Joestar."

"A fine name." The Marine stands. You now truly come to see how you dwarf in comparison to his imposing stature. "I am Levant Drossel, of the Ultramarines' 2nd Company. May we meet again sometime." And with those words, just like that, he was gone.

Damn, your arm is really, really sore.

Soon enough the crowd disperses, and a single Guardsman is paying all the others. Poor guy. Must've been the only one to bet for you.

Mercuria approaches you, Guardswoman in tow. You now come to realize that attached to her flak jacket are several awards for distinguished service.

"JoJo, this is someone you need to talk to." Mercuria simply says this. Nothing else.

"A fine display, Guardsman. You do us proud." Said the brunette Guardswoman. You notice there's an almost imperceptible scar above and through her right eyebrow.

"I lost." Is all you can mutter in reply.

"Winning, losing...as long as one is alive, does it really matter? I've seen winners stripped of their glory, and losers getting the last laugh." She stretches her hand for a handshake. "So, may I have your name, Guardsman?"

You accept the gesture of friendship. "Joachim. Joachim Joestar, of the 02nd Stella Patina Regiment, the Battlers. My friends call me JoJo"

"Miranda Nero, current Commanding Officer of the 203rd Cadian Regiment. My friends call me Mira, and I think you and I are going to become fast friends."

Here's an analysis of our Stand.
[LOW RIDER]
Destructive Power: B obviously superhuman, I wouldn't be suprised if we could throw small vehicles at people.

Speed: A Near lightspeed to FTL

Range: E (2m)

Durability: C Rougly on par with The World, don't take too many punches from an A ranked Destructive Stand.

Precision: B Not good enough to preform brain surgery with our Stand's bare fingers, but still superhumanly accurate. Our stand can flick stones/bullets to a range of 75-100m (Josuke almost hit a *rat* behind cover at 60m.)

Development Potential: A Adaptable as fuck, Koichi was able to evolve his stand into alternate forms via Acts, and Gionro constantly pulled new abilities out of his ass.

Summary, not the most conventionally powerful, but adaptable and versatile as fuck.
