"These appear to be the catalysts used to form the Shadows you vanquished." He says after a moment's examination. "If these were regained by their creator, they could be called forth once more."

...You get to hold onto the monster forming masks. Fun.

"One more thing," You say, getting a small snort from Margaret. "Both Hanamura and Satonaka said a black-suited clown with an orange mask threw them-"

"Well, nothing we can do about that." You sigh. "I don't suppose you've noticed anything strange in town before today?"

She shakes her head.

"Just the fog, though... the girl working at the hobby shop has been acting oddly when I've gone by to pick up orders from the textile store."

You file that away for later as she takes a look at her watch.

"Oh, I need to be getting home now. We're a little shorthanded at the moment, so I'm chipping in." She says, giving you a wave and running off.

Probably, yeah. Teddie gets a medical examination at one point, and the results come back normal, so presumably the doctor would have commented on him being intersex or neuter. His human form is presumably male, then. Though he does get more gendered after growing a body, so he could be neuter and it's the act of acquiring neurochemistry that gives him a definite gender. He certainly doesn't have his fascination with girls until after he becomes a real boy. So it could be that it was an arbitrary choice to grow a male body instead of a female one, and that naturally lead to it imprinting a gender on him. Maybe Teddie decided to be a boy because he wanted to be more like Yu, I don't know.

We just fought a bunch of horrible monsters, got magic powers, and learned that Inaba is home to a serial killer possessed by an eldritch horror. We need a rest after all that. We'll hug our adorable cousin/ little sister, make a nice dinner, and get some sleep. Things like repairing our sword at Daidara's or telling Uncle Dojima about the TV World can come later.

Well he is a detective who is trying to figure out this case and he is related to us, so he is pretty trustworthy.
He is also an adult who I imagine would be much better at fighting shadows than random fifteen year olds, even without access to his gun.

To me it's more of the fact that we might be breaking the groups trust. Plus Dojima is probably not the best person to take to the TV world. He is not exactly all there, as Nanako can attest too.

Plus what about the others in the group telling their parents? Or telling the police. By talking to Dojima about this a who mess of doors open. Cause and effect is a bitch. Do remember how badly he reacted to finding out Yu was involved with the Cases in the game and that was after starting up his social link, which we aren't even close to doing here. What makes you think he would continue to let us keep going there?

Because we have magic powers, and he doesn't. How can he keep us from going in when he can't even enter on his own? That means it's in his interest to let us go in, because he has no other choice to deal with this case. And then he'd be coordinating with us to make sure we have the information and resources to do it safely. Or as safe as going into another dimension to fight shadow-fiends can be.

You decided to head home for dinner.

After a brief walk, you step into the Dojima residence, your coat set aside for later... Repair, you guess.

Heading into the living room, you see Dojima and Nanako sitting at the small table, eating. A place seems to be set aside for you.

"Ah, there you are." Dojima says, frown on his face. "I thought I asked you to head straight home from school with Nanako..."

"You did. But a couple of friends of mine invited me to go with them to Junes' food court, so..." You shrug. "Well, you didn't say anything about after getting home."

He chuckles.

"Well, you got me there." He says, shaking his head. "But be careful, would you? Your mother would have my head if I let anything happen to you..."

You nod and take a seat.

Dinner goes by quickly, and you're soon sitting and watching the news with Nanako...
