You hand your Soul Gem over. Enishi's eyes going wide as she sees the golden gilding over what's almost a completely-black gem, except for the purple core inside it with the small crimson flame at the very center.

"Ah...amazing. Matsuda-sama, you have a very unique and exquisite gem." Enishi, almost lovingly, brushes her fingers across the gem's surface - making a chill run up your spine.

R-Really? Well. That's...that's a good thing?

Ah, yeah, I see what's screwing me up; where her forward leg crosses over the back, the angle of her rear leg's calf juxtaposed with the thigh's is making my eyes interpret her knee as being out at a weird angle. Like, it looks like it should be pointing to just behind Kyouko, rather than towards her as the angle of the torso and rear foot would suggest.

Which makes it look a bit like her ass is either flat or somehow has one cheek turned towards the camera, which is a little off-putting.

This might just be me, though, I dunno if anyone else is seeing this. And I hate criticising it at all, honestly, just cause I love your work in general and this piece specifically quite a bit.

Well. You're not really at liberty to discuss further business offers during an assignment. If she wants something done, she has to go through Kyuubey first. ...Anyway, you wanted to have Mine and his goons thrown out, but you realized it could create a fuss that Ruri might not neccessarily want to deal with.

"Nnh...well, that's right enough, Chiaki-chan." The superidol grumbles. "They'll raise a stink about it alright, something about discrimination, that kind of thing. Not really worth the bad media buzz, even if I'd really like to see that smug asshole thrown out on his ass." She pokes her head out again to smile at you. "Thank you for looking out for me, though, Chiaki-chan! That was very considerate of you!"

You're just doing your best, that's all. Nothing remarkable.

Suddenly, it's then that the noise outside changes - and the lights in the room flicker, along with a subtle roaring noise rolling in from somewhere. The ground shakes gently underneath your feet, and you could faintly hear three letters being yelled, again and again.

"Oh! The concert's started!" Ruri squeals from behind the screen, hopping out - and you see that she seems to be already dressed, but in what could be the most revealing version of Miracle Midori's costume. There are certain inaccuracies, of course - the fact that Ruri still retained her twintails, rather than letting them down, is already a huge one - but the overall look is very reminiscient of the original character. "Yuriko-chan, where's the remote for the TV? I wanna see if Mappi-tan misses her song cue again, hahaha!"

A blonde-haired idol with a gauze eyepatch covering her left eye switches on a large flatscreen TV hoisted up against the wall. "That's a bit mean, you know, Ruri-chan? The last time wasn't her fault, she was singing with a cold then..."

"If she won't let me live my wardrobe malfunction in Greece down, then I'm not going to let her live THAT down." Ruri returns, grinning, before pulling you along with her. "Come on, Chiaki-chan, come and watch with me! You too, Sayaka-chan!"

"Uh, yeah, sure." The Blueberry replies, walking up beside you, and looking not very excited about the entire thing. All three of you - along with the rest of the idols inside the dressing room - watch as the camera starts to pan around the stadium, showing a very packed crowd. "W-wait...! That's...that's the crowd we're going to be singing for, later?"

"I know, it's not that big of an audience, right?" Ruri frowns. "I wanted them to open the baseball field for seats, too, but they were having none of it." She pouts. "And you'd think being the only Super Idol in the world can get you anything, but noooo...'don't mess with baseball, young girl, just keep singing your autotuned songs'!"

The camera finally focuses on the stage - and after what appears to be a very long and almost blinding display of fireworks blasting out here and there, Kyosuke finally drops down onto the empty stage, lowered by a wire harness. Still with his costume and ridiculous makeup, his arms spread wide like some sort of messianic figure. His guitar hanging from the strap around his neck.

Instead of laughing at this ridiculous display, the crowd grows completely insane - cheering, chanting three letters again and again, and harkening everyone to go somewhere. Even the idols inside the room with you are squealing in delight - with the only silent ones being you and Sayaka, the Eversor's face buried in her hands.

"Haha~! Kyoujou's looking as awesome as ever, isn't he?" Ruri giggles. "It's really too bad Mappi-chan forced him to retire, but then again, that's showbiz!"

"Don't. Say. Another damn word, Murderface." Sayaka says in withering tones, muffled by her fingers. "Just. Don't."

There's another explosion of pyrotechnics - this time just gouts of flame tearing into the sky from the stage - and another person drops down. This time it's the red-haired idol, in the costume you saw her wearing earlier. The crowd goes wild again as she raises a hand, a huge tongue of flame sprouting from her palm and solidfying into a stylized microphone with the stand attached.

Then, a riff. A foreboding drum solo.

And you watch, dumbfounded, as the jittery young man that you'd nearly shot in the face yesterday begin to lead a death metal song titled Ultimate Sadistic Creature. With Mappi-tan providing the vocals. His drummer and second guitar materializing behind him, already abusing their instruments that only death metal musicians know how. Also garishly garbed and made-up like their leader.

"...What happened to Vivaldi? You told me you wanted to play Vivaldi in Carnegie Hall..." You hear Sayaka murmur underneath her breath, in a strained, but resigned voice.
