You are Christopher Phillips, previously just another teenage nerd living in a small English town, and a lot of things have changed in your life since you died.

Some of those changes have been bad. (You don’t relish trying to fight a werewolf again, or your dealings with Isabella Donaldson, the supernaturally popular queen bee of the school.) Some of them have been intriguing. Some of them have been baffling. And some of them have been very, very good.

You’re lying on your bed, having just got back from your visit to Miranda White, your History teacher, your best friend’s aunt, and apparently your girlfriend’s ex. And also a half-Fae and member of the Court of Spring, a powerful telekinetic, and a very beautiful young woman. Avril, your girlfriend and the princess of the Spring Court, was over at her house, getting ‘reacquainted’ with her, and once you arrived, the three of you had an absolutely marvellous time. You’re not sure you’ll ever get used to Fae definitions of morals and propriety, but damn if they aren’t fun.

Fun, and rather exhausting. You topple backwards onto your pillow, and fall asleep.

You’re dreaming. The usual weird surreal dream stuff – you’re being chased by your Biology teacher, who is inexplicably ten feet tall and wielding your rolled up project folder as a club strong enough to knock down buildings.

You are, very suddenly, not dreaming. You’re not awake, but you’re lucid, and you’re aware of yourself and your surroundings, and of the man standing across from you, wearing your own face and a tailor-made white suit.

You’re not standing on the blank plain where you last met the man who looks just like you, but different. You’re floating in space, or in a pitch-black room. Nothing can be seen except yourself and the man. He’s smiling in that disturbing manner that he has, a smile that looks almost like a human expression but is somehow indescribably wrong.

((Cont.))
>>
>>27006305
The man flexes his arms and fingers, rolling his shoulders like a man getting used to a new coat. He looks different somehow. More alive, more energetic than he did before.

“Ahhhh,” he sighs. “You’re doing well. I can feel it in my bones. We’re getting stronger, so much stronger, you and I. And you’re not even using your powers most of the time. If you pushed yourself a little harder, none of them could stand against you.”

You blink for a second, trying to deal with the fact that you’re apparently floating in mid-air. As soon as you start to think about it, there’s a solid floor underneath your feet. You can’t see it, or it’s just as black as everything else here, but you can feel it.

“What, none of them?” you ask, a little incredulously. “The Winter King, the Spring King, the Corruptor? You really have a high opinion of yourself, don’t you?”

The man just laughs, long and loud. It echoes strangely, as if the space you’re in is much larger than it looks.

“You’re a sharp kid. But you could do with having a higher opinion of yourself. And of me, but the former sort of implies the latter. Have you ever tried, really tried, to push the boundaries of those powers of yours?”

He pauses a little, while you stare coldly at him, and then chuckles.

“I’m in your head, so of course I know you haven’t, not really. And how could you? You don’t even know what your boundaries are. Try them some time. They might be wider than you think.”

He gives an exaggerated bow, and a wide grin, all his teeth shining brightly, and starts to slowly fade away, his grin staying perfectly visible as the rest of him begins to vanish into the darkness.

"My powers revolve around having a silver tongue and being charming. Fat lot of good that did against a werewolf, didn't it? And you really think a silver tongue is proof against Fae royalty? Or a demonic thing like a Corruptor?
"What, are you saying that these powers can control minds as strong as theirs? Or that this body is going to be proof against telekinetic, holy, and otherwise magically imbued weapons? Don't be daft.
"And this is all just at this little town; how much more powerful, and worse, are things going to be in a bigger city? If I didn't know better, I'd think you were an American with the way that you think everything will work out in your favor just because you want it to.

Seriously, is there anything about our build or Skin that would let us take on the Ice King directly and win? I don't have the rulebook handy, but I thought our limits were just slightly improved toughness and strength, being very persuasive (but not Charm Person levels), and being able to get up after being killed (so long as the body isn't massively damaged)

You call out to the Man as he starts to disappear, telling him you’re the one in charge, that he’s a fool and that he can take his world domination plans and shove them.

The only reply is his slow laughter as he disappears, his bright white grin the very last thing to disappear. When nothing more is visible but his teeth, they suddenly vanish, as quickly as if he’d closed his mouth.

You feel yourself slowly fade into consciousness. It’s early morning again, maybe about 5am. You don’t feel all that tired, though. In fact, you’re still buzzing with energy, most of it from your fun with Avril and Miranda last night.

He was right about one thing, at least. You’re definitely feeling stronger, much stronger. You flex your fingers a little and feel the power running through them, up your arms and into your body, so much power that it’s almost overflowing your body. You’ve grounded magic into your flesh like this once before, strengthening yourself and developing your capabilities, but this feels like so much more power than before. You’re fairly sure something interesting will happen. The question is, what?

((Advancement time again already. Satiety really ramps up those XP gains. Pick from:

Wow so I'm finally in as a thread is happening. Just one thing.

Are we not going straight-up power-hungry control freak as a general direction with our character? Shouldn't the very first thing we control be our self? If we don't, we'll simply become a slave to our dark self.

I say we may very well want to consider some form of asceticism. Maybe we can starve our darker self into near-permanent submission with human willpower alone.
>>
>>27008083
That may work, but we have to be practical as well.
We do need to stay strong until at least one of the threats against us is eliminated.

Quite frankly, I'm surprised that Jason or the Corruptor haven't gone after our family yet. They know who we are, and can find out where we live.
And Isabella has connections, I'm surprised she hasn't used them to go after our parents at work.
>>
>>27007531
You focus, feeling the energy running through your bones. It seems almost too easy to push it outwards slightly, into the muscles of your arms and legs. For a second you don't feel any different, but then the magic starts to soak into your flesh, and your muscles all suddenly twitch at once, like you've been electrocuted. You take a step forward, and almost overbalance - you didn't expect your leg to move so fast. The next step, you're used to the speed, but not the strength with which you push off from the ground, and that one *does* end with you flat on your face.

You spend about half an hour slowly getting used to your body suddenly moving in different ways. By the time the sun's fully risen, you're fairly sure you can move about without stumbling and pick things up without breaking them. And next time you get into a fight, you'll have a nice surprise up your sleeve. Your muscles aren't obviously any bigger or more toned, they're just magically more efficient.

You head down to the kitchen and practise making breakfast, since no-one else is up yet. It goes pretty well - you're definitely getting used to your new physique. You're not Superman, but you're effectively in much better shape than you were, and you think you've got a good chance in a fistfight or a foot race against quite a lot of people, now.

There's still a long while before school, a couple of hours maybe.

[]Go back to sleep. See if you can dream again.

We haven't heard how is meeting with Ajani went yet, and we can head to the park and wrestle or run laps or something; we get to test our new strength, and he gets to exhaust himself physically, making a transformation more unlikely. We still need to research a cure, but I'm not sure how to proceed with that.

You pack your school bags in advance, just in case this takes longer than you expect, leave a note on the kitchen table telling your parents you've just gone for a walk before school, and head out to the forest. Even if you can't find Avril, it's a nice peaceful environment, and lots of wide open spaces if you want to do more exercise.

The forest seems a little more wide open than you remember it being, in fact. Although the last time you were in it, an ancient forest spirit was actively manipulating the land around you to keep you trapped, so it's possible it's meant to be like that. Still, the whole place feels sort of... relaxed? You're not sure quite how a forest can be relaxed, but that's the word that pops into your head.

There's an odd itch between your shoulder-blades, but you shrug it off. Probably an artefact of your new muscles. You set your bags down for a moment, run and jump, and grab onto a branch, swinging back and forth for a moment before propelling yourself forward and landing smoothly on the ground. It feels good to move - you feel full of life again, full of energy, although a different sort than before. This isn't the dark, thick energy your hungers fill you with, but the buzzing, vibrant feeling of life itself.

As you go to pick up your bags again, you stop and breathe, and realise that you can almost feel where the energy is flowing from. There's two points ahead, one somewhat to the left of you and one more to the right. The life energy feels like it's pouring out from both places in waves, rolling and crashing over you, making you feel more alive each time. The waves from the left are coming more rapidly, but the ones from the right are individually more powerful.

You walk forward and left, moving carefully - every so often you get another pulse of life energy, and as you get closer they seem to get stronger, and they're not perfectly regular - when one that's stronger than most catches you by surprise, you almost stumble. As you get closer to the source of the energy waves you can also hear moaning. Pleasurable moaning, definitely.

You sort of suspected something was going on, but it's still weird to realise you're magically sensing a building orgasm. And unless you're very much mistaken, that's Avril moaning from up ahead. What the hell?

You step around a bush and spot Avril pretty much instantly, lying on a soft, mossy bed. The bed looks like it's a solid lump of moss, grown out of the forest floor, and it's apparently strong enough to support Avril and the tall, noble-looking guy on top of her. As you start to walk towards her, there's a sudden, enormous magical pulse, which coincides almost perfectly with Avril screaming loudly and her arms clenching around her lover. The energy is immense, staggering - you have to stop for a moment to let it wash over you, clutching your head. When you look up, the other guy - a Fae of some sort, presumably - has climbed off the bed and is walking off into the forest, looking over his shoulder and waving at Avril as he leaves. She grins at him and waves back, then turns and sees you.

"Oh, Chris! Hey, sweetie. When did you get here? I'm sorry if I kept you waiting. After that fun with Miranda last night, I thought I'd catch up with a few more of my old teachers." She looks you up and down. "Oh, damn, is it time for school already? Thanks for coming to get me, then."

What do you want to say or do?
>>
>>27009950
If what we sensed, to the left, was Avril's approaching orgasm, the real question, to my mind, is who's having sex off to the right?

what we should ask Avril, though, is why she hasn't made a bed of moss for the two os us before.
>>
>>27009950
"Now I'm a little jealous; I hope I'm just as good in bed, that last pulse of energy nearly knocked me off my feet."
Say this in a teasing manner; remember that with Fae, pleasure and romance are very separate things.
"Would you like any help getting cleaned up?"

I addition to what was said by others I suggest dropping spaghetti in regards to actually FEELING her like that. We're trying to play it cool with seeing her suddenly being screwed by a stranger, alright, but we just awoke to a whole new world of sensation so that might make us stumble up a bit.

(We need to ask her just how many other teachers she had, later).
>>
>>27010401
Agreed, I don't think IC Chris is entirely cool with the situation. He seems very possessive.
>>
>>27010569
Even if jealous, that'd make him a terrible hypocrite. He'd lose any leverage he had along with his credibility. He'd have to play it cool for the moment so he could slowly twist Avril into the mindset he wants later.

Of course, I see no reason to get uppity about casual sex now, of all times. Is it just because it's not someone whom we also fuck and/or act like we own?
>>
>>27010329
You try very, very hard to keep a straight face, and ask Avril, "So... does that mean this part of the wood is the Morning Wood?"

She looks blank for a moment, and shakes her head. "No, this is still part of the heart-wood. I mean, it's all the morning wood at the moment, I suppose, it being morning..." Avril trails off, looking at you a little oddly.

"No, no, morning wood is... never mind, it was a pun. Anyway, uh, nice bed of moss thing. How come I haven't seen you do that before?"

You walk up to the moss bed as you speak, putting one hand on it - it's about as springy as a normal mattress, and feels a little spongy but not damp to the touch.

Avril shrugs. "I can only make them when I'm actually in the forest proper, and we've only had sex here once. Plus, you seem to quite like shoving me up against trees, and I like it too." She grins, sliding over on the bed to sit on the edge, next to you. She's totally naked, but with a gesture she's suddenly wearing a very short, light green dress. So short that it's actually more like a t-shirt than a dress - you can still clearly see her crotch and the slow drip of white fluids running down her leg and onto the moss. You try to look away without looking away from Avril too obviously.

"I, um, I guess I'm a little jealous now. That last pulse of energy nearly knocked me off my feet - I hope I'm as just good in bed." You try to keep your tone light and joky, but you're not sure how well it came off. Avril's certainly frowning.

"As good in... That doesn't make sense, Chris, you can't compare people like that. Crescent's good to have sex with. So are you. But the two of you are totally different lovers, it's like comparing an oak and a fir." She chuckles. "Anyway, what do you mean by 'energy pulses'?"

"Wait, you can't feel those?" The pulses of energy from the other direction are still beating just as strongly as before.

Avril shrugs. "Sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about. Pulses from where?"
>>
>>27010705

Avril ponders for a moment, then shakes her head.

"Over that way, right?" She points in basically the direction of the pulses you can feel, and you nod. "Yeah, that'll be my father, and probably mum too, I suppose. No point disturbing them, they don't share when they're together."

"Uh, hang on, I didn't mean-" you start to protest, but Avril interrupts you by suddenly putting her hand on your crotch, making you jump a little. "If we've got lots of time before school, how about I show you how this moss bed works, then?" She pats the bed, and a section of it curves upwards, making a nice rest for someone's hips. "If you're sensing sex energy or whatever, you're probably enough of a Fae to control it too. Just think what shape you want - nothing too complicated and fiddly, it's still just moss and wood, but it can make dents and pillows and so on. And, you know, we can just fuck, too. What do you say?"
>>

Well why would we say no to that? Time for satiety.
>>
>>27011511
Yup

Make a teardrop sex support, bend her over, tie her wrists together, then her ankles, then toy with her.

If you are still taking suggestions for pastebins, hoe about last night with Avril and Miranda?

That's interesting. I actually found it to be quite easy.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, or I'm just good at knots, but I start at the woman's neck with a surveyors knot (so I can adjust tightness at will hehe) and bring both tails down to start the lattice.

I didn't think it was that difficult at all, and once the lattice is tight, I usually take the tails up through the crotch to tie the arms.

You rest your hand on the bed, concentrating carefully. Three long spirals of moss swirl out of the bed, forming themselves into long, thin ropes, tough but pliable like vines. Another long, tear-drop shaped support forms along the bed, and you reach out to take Avril by the shoulder and push her back onto the bed, lying next to the support and your new ropes. She grins, lifting her arms up and presenting her wrists to you as you lift the first rope to wrap it around them.

You don't think your quick rope work is quite up to the standards of some of the stuff you've seen looking it up online, but it does what you need it to, and Avril certainly seems very happy as you finally step out of your clothes, climb up onto the bed, and push her bound form down against the soft surface.

**************************************

You're startled out of your rather nice afterglow by your phone alarm going off. You don't actually remember setting it, but when you check it, you realise that you've got half an hour to get to school, which should be plenty of time now that you're aware of it. Once you untie Avril, she re-sets the bed and dresses herself in her school uniform in an instant, and helps you pick up your scattered clothes.

The two of you walk to school together, hand in hand. Avril's grinning widely as you walk, almost skipping.

"This is going to be a good day, I can feel it," she tells you, clutching your hand warmly. "I can just feel it."

"Does that happen a lot?"

Avril shrugs. "Well, sometimes. And it's not like I'm actually predicting the future or anything. I just have a really good feeling about today, you know? What do you think? Anything interesting that you're planning to do?"
>>
>>27012584
"I'd like to talk to Zack about his meeting with the hunters, so that's probably the lunch break occupied, but if today is going to be such a good day, why don't the two of us take Jill out later? Our last date ended far too early, and I for one hope to pick up where we left off, or thereabouts."
>>
>>27012584
"I think today I'll see how Zack's meeting with Ajani went, and maybe seeing if I can get the Hunters to help us with the Winter King.
"I'm still trying to think of how to talk to Jill about us having sex with her aunt; she's still not completely ok with the polyamory yet, and introducing another person into the mix might be too much."
>>
>>27012696
>why don't the two of us take Jill out later?
Jill did say very specifically that she did NOT want to have such a date until the Dance. Or are you going to try to get her to go along with something she doesn't want?

I suppose we could spend time with Masami at lunch, see if she's got a date for the Dance, and try to develop our friendship more.

Still gotta figure out how to tell Jill that she shouldn't be mad that we're having sex with her aunt, though.

Uhh you realize now -both- of the people she loves are boning her enviously gorgeous (and probably bustier) aunt.

What part of you still thinks Jill won't have a Carrie moment?
>>
>>27013030
>still thinks Jill won't have a Carrie moment?
I know that Jill going Carrie is a greater than 80% chance.
We first have to get her to accept that there is a difference, and a definite one, between sex and love, pleasure and romance, just like Miranda advised. Once she understands and accepts that difference, we can probably introduce the idea of having sex with Miranda without Jill killing us all.

We HAVE to be the ones to tell her, though. Avril already flat-out said that if Jill asks, she'll tell her everything. Miranda also said that we should tell Jill; she suggested after we bone Jill, but I'm dubious of that piece of advice.
>>
>>27013019
"Well, Zack had a meeting with the head of those hunters yesterday - I need to talk to him about that. Masami wanted to spend some more time with me at some point... and I still have no idea how to tell Jill about us having sex with her aunt. I think it might end up being too much for her, when she's only just getting used to all this. Still, if you say today's going to be a good day, why don't the two of us take Jill out later? My last date with her ended far too early."

Avril frowns, clutching on to your hand again. "I don't know, maybe... I mean, Jill did say she wanted our date at the dance to be special, and it's only, what, a week and a half till then? But if we just go out with her as friends, not on a date, maybe. I think you should spend a bit of time thinking about how to talk to her, though. She's going to start asking questions sooner or later. Miranda's not quite bound to the same level of honesty as I am when it comes to Jill, but she's not a very good liar most of the time, and Jill's really perceptive."

"Okay, well, maybe we'll talk to her about that tonight. You are still sure today will go well, yeah?"

Avril nods. "Absolutely. But still... tread carefully. Just in case. I worry about Jill sometimes, you know?"

You stop and give Avril a quick hug. "Me too. But try not to worry too much. Good day, remember?"

She smiles, hugging you back. "Right..."

You breeze through German, although your mind isn't really on the lesson. You're worried about History - Jill and Miss White are going to be there again, and the tightrope you're walking with that situation seems thinner and thinner each time.

Once you actually get to the History classroom, you relax a little - Miss White seems to be dressed pretty sensibly, and she doesn't touch you or stroke you while you're handing back the marked worksheets.

Jill looks at you a little oddly, though. "Chris, almost all of these are marked in your handwriting. When did you have time to do all this?"
>>
>>27013323
If these are the worksheets from the day before yesterday:
"Day before yesterday, when you went on a date with Avril, remember? Didn't I say I was helping your aunt with getting Mr. Miller's notes in order and with marking the worksheets? I could have sworn I did."
>>
>>27013323
Yeah tell her the truth as in >>27013419. I mean we are still a legit teacher's aide in addition to the other shit we don't have to mention.
>>
>>27013323
"I'm... not even sure. Were these from last week? Whenever they're from, I've dropped by Miss White's house a couple of times for more papers- it goes pretty quickly when there are two of us, and if I do most of the marking she can work through the prep faster. Sorry, I should have mentioned it. Listen, next time, why don't I just collect a bunch from her and we can go to the library together- I'll mark and you can throw scrunched up balls of paper at my head while avoiding the librarians censorious looks."
>>
>>27012747
I actually forgot about that, and retract the suggestion. We should just take her out ourselves, and maybe work out our confession beforehand.
>>
>>27013323
I don't even remember. When did we actually do work? Must be when we tied her up. Just say we were over at her house then.
>>
>>27013323
Between tying her up and fucking her ass.
>>
>>27013460
Why are you giving her wrong information and making things more suspicious, when we had just told her that we were marking papers two days ago?

"I did mention that I was helping your aunt with marking worksheets and getting Mr Miller's notes in order, didn't I?"

Jill nods. "Yeah, I remember. Still, this is a lot of work..." She trails off, flicking through her own worksheet.

"Well, you remember the day before yesterday, when you were off on a date with Avril? I went round to her house and did some work with her there. I could've sworn I mentioned all of this before."

"You mentioned the marking, yeah. I don't remember you mentioning going round to her house..." Jill trails off, staring at her aunt for a moment as she writes on the board. "Uh. Anyway, you obviously put a lot of work into all this." She smiles sweetly at you. "Well done, Chris. Thank you for helping out with the class."

"You're welcome. Oh, one other thing. Are you doing anything tonight?"

Jill grins at you, raising an eyebrow. "Another date already? Well, if you insist."

"I actually figured the three of us could go out, you, me and Avril. Not as a date - I know you want to save that for the dance - but just to hang out some more."

Jill thinks, tapping her pencil idly against her desk. "I guess, sure. I was going to see my aunt tonight, see about those special lessons she was talking about. I guess I can go see her later." She smiles suddenly, raising up her pencil and pointing it at the door to Miss White's office. "I know! I can go see her at lunchtime. It can't take all that long for her to show me the basics. That way I have plenty of time to see you and Avril after school. And I'll be seeing you both in Chemistry anyway." She smiles again, contentedly putting her head down and getting to work.

Chemistry is slightly awkward. Jill mentions her plans to see her aunt at lunch, and both you and Avril end up talking around the subject and making small talk. (Avril's refusal to lie directly to Jill about the whole topic is apparently very precise.) Still, she doesn't seem to notice anything all that unusual.

((Cont.))
>>
>>27014043

Jill disappears as soon as the lunch bell goes, Avril wandering awkwardly off to the dinner hall while you head to the library. When you get there, Ajani and his group are lined up at the table. They're all looking fairly stern, and as you walk up to the table Ajani nods and speaks solemnly and carefully.

"We've been waiting for you, Chris. Take a chair. Let's talk."
