This week has been an attempt to keep you occupied. After finding out you won’t be going home anytime soon or if at all you try to settle for some normalcy in your life.

Though unfortunately the help while interested in you and grateful for you helping them every now and again was only turned to acquaintances at best. Professor Colbert on the other-hand questioned the things about your world and was amazed with the technological develops such as machines that fly in high speed and self-propelled carriages but was disappointed to know that your country has endured several decades of war but was slightly comforted or perhaps pitted you that others notable countries had not had a real war for decades.

What you find over the week was a good amount of firewood, game such as deer and rabbits something that the dragon and Marteau appreciated when you came back with some, and some small sources of flint in small pockets which will make a good fire-started but nothing of big importance.

Reading again was not so successful for a while only judging by context clues and some cards that Colbert made for you in his spare time of his busy schedule in which shows a picture and a word. Slowly overtime though you begin to see some of the words change into the language you’re familiar with. You don’t understand why but you stopped a bit after only figuring out some signs and an idea of basic sentences.

Just me musing to bump the thread, but until we actually come across a weapon we have no idea how to use, such as the A6M5 it will be hard to beg down the fact that we are Gandalfr, due to our natural training with weapons, and our reluctance to use anything either than our bayonette, or Moisin (although why use anything else). Actually it might be a good idea to invest the time/effort into making/aquiring a bow so that we have a ranged weapon that isn't limited by our awesome but scarce bullets. Actually we could probably use our engineering skills to make a pretty bitching compound bow with an earth mages help.

Oh dear, I sense that the familiar talentshow thing is nearing.
We need to think how to handle this without expending our limited resources.

“And besides going hunting.” You said shaking her head in disbelief. “Seriously you’re a soldier not some backwoods huntsman, right?”

“It gives me something to do.” You replied in your defense kind of picked it up from your more woodsmen comrades in your unit and sometimes out of desperation to supplement your rations or if you had any if the supply lines were scarce. “Besides if I were truly some hunter back home, they will be able to nab much bigger game then these underweight rabbit and critters.”
