Depends on what you want. A good tank now, or a good tank later.
The Tiger P is superior to the Tiger except for speed, but the tanks later in the line I haven't heard that many good things about.
The Tiger is gonna get a speed buff in 8.8, but in every other case it's inferior to the Porsche version. On the other hand, I've seen people sing praises about the King Tiger and the E-75.

If it's your first tier 7, get the Tiger P. The Tiger is a terrible first tier 7 because its bad armor, top speed, alpha, and DPM gives it a very niche role on the field: cower at long range and snipe.

That actually makes me feel a lot better. For the longest time I wasn't able to get Top Gun in my 3601H. Moment I hit 5 kills, boom team becomes hyper competent.

First time I got Top Gun, I lost as the last man standing having failed a rush back across Himmelsdorf to reset cap. The game ended as the shot was leaving my barrel.

I had two damaged tracks and every time I thought about that game I kicked myself for not using a repair kit to fix my tracks and get me back faster. Knowing it wouldn't have mattered is somewhat cathartic.

"Right." You say as your assault party reaches the front of Cakes und Panzer. A quick look through one of the windows reveals your driver's position- sort of hard to miss a talk white guy around here. "Miho, go in first- don't try to be cute, just get in there sit down and get their attention." You say, Miho nods, looking a bit excited. "That's when the real attack comes, not from you, but from the sides- the two veteran shenaniganners they didn't even know were there."

Miho stares and you feel the need to explain the rest of the plan. "The point is... They will be embarassed when we start to eat off their plates... Alright, go! We'll follow in a minute."

You watch as Miho starts falling apart almost the moment she gets through the door- stumbling through a short conversation with the hostess and blowing her cover to Richard- you see Saori's head turn around to see her commander embarassingly stumble through the cafe and take a seat- on the other side.

"Commander, if your mother had seen you do that she'd be very upset..." Rose says, watching everything happen.

"I thought you were my mother, Rose?" You say back. "Let's do this..."

For some more catharsis: once the cap hits 100, and the message "Friendly base captured!" is displayed, damage to capipng tanks no longer resets cap. Only killing everything in the circle, or forcing them out of it, will reset it. Kills prolong the game by resetting the 5 second win timer that ticks down after base capture, though.

Lost a game in my E-75 thta way, damaging their T-44 just milliseconds too late. Was quite mad.

I finally got caught up with the quest. It's great.
