Knights in the area are almost routed.Frank has just activated his external comm to say something to you, but hasn't opened his cockpit yet. You've also recieved a text from Lelouch "Get him outside the Knightmare."

How do you proceed?

Well, whatever plan we go with. We'll want to finally inform Kallen as to the nature of Rolo's geass.

Right, let's try singing the national anthem again while wheeling away from the Gawain. Hopefully, we can get out of range of Rolo's geass. Try to channel our NEET skills to text Lelouch to radio Kallen detailing the nature of Rolo's geass, while also hanging out in the air to be ready to gank the Gawain if it gives up on trying to chase us down and fly away like a bitch. If we're lucky, we can keep it down here long enough for Jeremiah to get back into action.

Just as you did in the vision, you frantically begin shouting out the Brittanian anthem as loud as you can while wheeling away from them to the best of your ability, but you are still woozy from your vacation in potato land, and your control is lacking. The Gawain raises it's remaining hand at you and shoots out the slash harkens as you stumble and twist away. The fingers crash into your cybernetic leg, knocking you to the ground and breaking your land spinners. Frank however, doesn't retract his attack, leaving you entangled in the cables.

"Now just hear me out Nicky. This has gone poorly for the both of us and you know it. Look around you, the Black Knights are all but finished, and they certainly will be at this rate, so let's make a deal shall we?" Yeah, they're not AS loud as gunpowder guns, but if you listen, there's still a significant amount of noise.
If the gun is right next to the ear, then it should still be sufficient for a good amount of ringing in the ears and damage to them.

Not to mention how much willpower it takes to purposefully injure yourself while sane.

This is a rather unrealistic plan, not to mention Code is fishing for you all to agree to sanity in the universe rather than the silliness of non scientific writers

The plan had been:
1. deafen ourselves to protect from Frank
2. use landspinners to go up the back of the Gawain
3. damage the Float System and prevent the Gawain's retreat
4. damage the Gawain's knee while Jeremiah, who is already on his way, attacks the Gawain's already heavily damaged cockpit

Since our landspinners got destroyed, we haven't yet protected ourselves from Frank's Geass, and our cybernetic leg is currently entangled in the Gawain's slash harken cables, the plan needs to be modified.

We deafen ourselves first, then use a Radiant surge to cut the slash harken cables. The Gawain's other hand was already damaged by us, leaving the Gawain with insufficient working fingers to grab us, forcing Frank to either retreat or open the cockpit in order to get us.
Then either Lelouch or Jeremiah can attack the cockpit directly.

As for the willpower to purposefully injure ourselves, it is easier that what was originally proposed, and can still be done. We had the willpower to sacrifice our leg, and I think we have the willpower to pull the trigger, especially when the gun is pointed away from us.

You didn't sacrifice your leg persay, you risked yourself to save someone else, your leg was the sustained injury. It's a different mindset.

Alright, writing the last update for tonight

"Oh hell no. No fuck you Frank. Your deals are rotten," you say as you pull out your sidearm and stuff it against your ear. "I will fucking kill myself before I let you turn me into a weapon against my allies again. Just fucking try me."

The metal of the barrel is cold and frightening as you press it against your ear, praying he doesn't call you on it. Sweat is coating your hand and your breathing is unsteady, but no response has come from the Gawain. You consider turning it sideways to deafen yourself, but are unsure if it would work. You readjust your grip and lick your lips, waiting for a response.

The cockpit of the Gawain begins to open. "Let's just talk a moment..."

There's a man standing in front of you, Frank's accomplice. And your hand hurts, your forefinger actually. Feels like it was snapped... because it was, badly. Your gun was ripped from your hand, and now you're bleeding. Profusely it seems actually. Drops of blood are rolling down your face, tickling you with their warmness.

The kid is wearing a dark shirt, and it appears to be rather wet for some reason. He's bleeding too actually. Alot. He sways on his feet, gasping for air as you pull yourself to your feet to face him.

And then he collapses, staring at the sky through the hole in his face, idly letting his lifeblood spread across the broken concrete. The twinkle of geass is pulsing in his eye it seems, but nothing is happening.

Then you realize you've been staring at him with both eyes, and your geass hasn't triggered. You slowly raise your hand back to your face, pressing down on your eyelid with two of your fingers as you look up to the Gawain. The cockpit is open, and Frank is staring down in disbelief, his eyes darting between you and his ally. His mouth is gaping, unable to form words.

You get the distinct feeling that someone, somewhere, is laughing maniacally at what just happened. And only two words can reach your lips as your scared mind tries to catch up.
