After a few detail here and there, you all manage to have what seems like a good plan to infiltrate. Finally, the door slides open and Kuukaku walks in, with a serious look on her face as she gestures at you.

“Ichigo. With me.”

Before walking out the door. You follow behind her down several hallways until you walk into another room. In this one, there is someone laying on a futon, wrapped in bandages. It’s Rukia… you can’t remember her last name, but you remember her.

She looks like she’s in bad shape as she looks at you with astonishment.

“..what are you doing here?!”

You look at her condition, which is bad to say the least. You look over at Kuukaku. “Hey, could you bring Orihime in here? She’s a healer.”

You ignore the increasingly more irritated Rukia until they return and Orihime begins healing her. Rukia gives you a deadpan stare from within the golden barrier.

“What. Are. You. Doing. Here.”

You shrug, pointing at Kuukaku. “It’s my cousin’s house. A better question, what are /you/ doing here in such a bad shape?”

Rukia glances away. “Aizen tricked me into attacking my captain using his hypnosis. Since I’ve raised a blade against a captain, he used it to have me declared a traitor and has been trying to capture me. I encountered Ichimaru Gin and used the opportunity his attack gave me to fake my death. I don’t know if eh bought it… or if he thought my being alive would be more amusing, either way I can’t show my face in there.”

She looks sharply at you. “Now why exactly are you here, Kurosaki Ichigo?”

You give her a deadpan look. "Well, shorty, I'm here to rescue my half-Hollow Shinigami girlfriend who got kidnapped by Soul Society, and I brought along all my super-powered human friends, as well as my pack of benevolent half-Shinigami Hollows who recognize me as their king because I beat their Vasto Lorde leader in a fight. Now sit tight and let my non-kidnapped human girlfriend here use her magic healing powers on you."

Rukia stares at you with a blank look that says she doesn’t know whether to laugh, cry or murder you.

Orihime lets out a breath as her golden barrier falls, wiping at her forehead. “There. You’re basically as good as new.”

Rukia looks at her, confused before moving around. To her surprise, it seems like she’s perfectly healed. “That… is a very handy skill you have there Miss Inoue.”

Orihime smiles as Rukia gives her a grateful nod before looking pensive, looking at Kuukaku then at you. “Hey, I’ve got to think some things over, can I get some privacy?”

You give her a nod, respecting the serious look on her face and leave with Orihime. You notice that Kuukaku is staying behind, but wisely don’t comment. You two return back to the room where your friends are waiting.

The girl Keigo found is still unconscious.

You give him a nod at his dismissal of you before giving a nod at Chad, who nods back. Well, all’s good with Chad.

You look over at the unconscious girl again, Keigo sitting by her side in a guarding position, fidgeting slightly. You approach Yoruichi. “Hey, it is odd that the girl is still out?”

She shakes her head. “Honestly, if it weren’t for the fact she’s breathing I would think her dead. Being in the dangai is undoubtedly traumatizing, so her body is probably recovering.”

You give the girl one more look before nodding at Yoruichi and walking off to a corner with Orihime. She sits next to you before laying down, resting her head in your lap. She glances up at you and smiles as you smile back as you start to stroke your hand through her hair.

“That’s still really impressive, what you can do that is. I still haven’t gotten to ask you much about your abilities, Orihime. Would you mind telling me about them?”

She gives you a proud smile and nods as her hairpins vanish and six little fairies appear in front of your eyes.

Then there’s Santen Kesshun, which is my barrier technique. I’m still working with it, but it makes a barrier that can negate attacks as far as I can tell. It’s really useful.”

She looks away from you. “…Lastly is Koten Zanshun. Tsubaki can become a projectile that can cut through anything, but it depends on my intent. Normally he’s upset at my lack of intent, but he’s been praising me lately…”

She gives you a weak smile and closes her eyes.

“Can I lay here for a little while, Ichigo?”

You give a grunt of assent, still stroking her hair and before long, you can feel her relax, her breathing light. Seems like she’s fallen asleep.

Careful not to disturb her, you close your eyes and try to enter Jinzen. It takes a little longer, but you soon find yourself in your inner world.

Your hollow is sitting on the edge of the building, hand cupped around his ear like he’s listening to something as the Old Man gives you a nod.
