Lelouch vi Brittania, the man behind the mask of Zero, has acquired power beyond anything a normal high schooler ever could have. Along with the Power of Kings, Geass, he now stands to challenge the world. Hiding his face, he has become a symbol of hope for the future.Behind him are the Black Knights, warriors for justice, and the man Nick Asplund, who's ties with the Power of Kings could shake the foundation of everything.

Last Time! Parlay! Revelations! Glorious Battle! Loyalty! Radiant Knee! Geass Battle! Double Murder! And Getting Geassed!

By yourself

Meta Game Quest, has evolved.
>>
Welp. Time to get our potato on.
>>
I sure hope Jeremiah is alright.

And I wonder if anyone else captured Schniezel?
>>
>>26295090
You have seven layers of plot armor, the chances of you going potato any time soon are pretty slim.
>>
>>26295120
I always thought "going potato" was what we called being Geassed.
>>
>>26295183
No, "Going potato" is what we call us using our geass.
>>
>>26295238
I thought it was your term for accidently the whole Geass

wow we're confused
>>
>>26295262
so same as usual?
>>
>>26295287
Yeah pretty much I guess.

I'll get things rolling once someone catches on.
>>
>>26295262
Same. I thought it was our term for when we finally perma geass and see everything forever.
>>
>>26295353
... and if we don't catch on?
>>
>>26294995
Wait

Was the second half of the last thread just our geass going out of control? Have we gone full potato?
>>
>>26295491
That wouldn't be fun, now would it?

The Rustled is the man you want
>>
>>26295609
So how exactly do we intend on getting to the island while geassed? Did we jack Kallen's mech or something?
>>
>>26295558
I explained the Geass system last thread. You don't get permanent Geass until you roll under your uses, and your uses are at 14

>>26295728
You haven't quite gotten to that bridge yet
>>
>>26295609
I'm sorry, why am I wanted? I seem to be lost.
>>
>>26295777
I think CA is going to sacrifice you to his dark gods or summin.
>>
Well, things need to get a move on, so now you have a time limit. You have until 2115 EST. If I have to explain what happened, you lose 3 layers of plot armor. It shouldn't come to that though, you're all smart enough.
>>
>>26295826
Evening, Arthur. You referring to what went down previously? May need to do some digging on my part.

Dear god I'm still Alpharius.

>>
>>26295826
Alright! Well, we don't know a whole lot about Frank's Geass other than it's basically Lelouch's but with voice instead of eye contact. When Lelouch uses his Geass, people under it's effects take the most proper course of action to fulfill their commands.
Which means, I believe, that we ATTEMPTED to get into the ruined Gawain and fly to the island. With Jeremiah wounded like he was, I doubt he could have stopped us.
Thing is, Kallen was on her way after the Gawain went down... so it's possible that -she- did.
I'm betting on "stole the Gawain to fly away" at least.

>Expecting your players to work out what you want them to work out

HAH
>>
>>26295883
Keep in mind that Rolo is still up (as far as I remember) and he has time shenanigans. That and Frank could have screwed with us something fierce. We need to figure out what went down during the blackout. Remember all the 'events' in writing that were going on before everything went dark?
>>
>>26295843
Good evening gent'

>>26295893
I know right? It's like I didn't explicitly explain what I did
>>

>Punishing players for not working out what you want them to work out
>>
>>26295927
Rolo is super dead. He ate a Radiation Wave that can bring down Knightmares point blank.
>>
>>26295939
Ah. I see. So it must have been Frank or perhaps V.V. from god-knows-where? That or our geass backfired.

This is confusing.
>>
>>26295933
As I recall, while Rolo paused our perception of time, we still "heard" what Frank's Geass told us and that was enough, since we couldn't stall by shouting loud enough not to hear.
>>
Wait why are we being punished for being unclear on a situation? Seems like that's a GM fault, not a player fault.
>>
>>26295933
>It's like I didn't explicitly explain what I did

>Meta Game Quest, has evolved.

Oh god, did our geass evolve in response to Frank geassing us again? Did it pull that wierd shit that happened when V.V. dove into our mind?
>>
>>26295985
Wait, maybe metagame quest has evolved into the meta of us gaming. We are in the game. What is going on.
>>
>>26295933
I'm just going to go out on a limb and assume we can't burn plot armor to shake off Frank's Geass?
>>
Does it have to do with the part of the MC that has meta knowledge of the animes?
>>
>Getting Geassed!

>By yourself

Come on guys. I can't exactly tell you when you do that, now can I? You'll have to earn that free plot armor back. Harsh lesson yes, but things are going to get a whole lot stranger from here on out.

You are sitting on the shoulder of the Lancelot, flying to the battlefield under the Avalon. You've just come out of your auto-geass. The Gawain is about to fire the Hadron Cannon at the Black Knights. It doesn't seem to have activated permanently yet, but it's getting there.

[]Change nothing
[]Alter the scenario (where)
>>
>>26296107
wait wait. what the hell just happened? are you telling me that was ALL a vision?
>>
>>26296107
Oh... well that was trippy as hell.
>[x] Alter the scenario
Everything up to Kallen throwing us can stay the same, but instead, she throws Jeremiah who uses his disturber to shut down the Gawain... then gets us close enough she can just lob us there. When we get there, we Radiant Wave the cockpit and cook Rolo and Frank alive.

Assuming everything is as was before, we kill the hell out of Frank, dammit. Preferably with earphones in blasting music when the time comes.

>>
>>26296201
Not to mention that, as far as I am aware, we never actively decided to use our geass on ourselves so technically it *was* out of our control.

Come on Code, this ain't cool.
>>
>>26296107
Ha ha trolled via dream episode.
>>

There is no such thing as Out of Character any more.

>>
>>26296224
He did. I was >>26295558 and I saw what he said and used that to work out what he had done.

I wasn't even wrong, at all, technically. The geass wasn't under our control, and the last question was rhetorical.
>>
>>26296201
>>26296228
Oh god, this is why he said I was the man we wanted-Geassing ourself in the shiny thing was my idea.
Hey, on the plus side, at least this means Frank failed at brain-fucking us.
>>
>>26296193
I hope that the Druid system will be intact...
>>
>>26296193
I guess I like this too. Damn consensus. Hivemind is not my specialty.
>>
>>26296338
and we also know that rolo is there. even though I suspected that there were two people in the Gawain
>>
>>26296338
But did we actually go forward with that option?

Either way, it's still bullshit because that one dude did get it right, even if he came to that conclusion via all the wrong clues.
>>
>>26296193
so yeah, I support this idea. we can risk losing the druid system of the Gawain. as long as we kill Rolo
>>
>>26296193
That works, they cant escape, since the Gawain doesnt have an eject.

The danger being they might get off a shot with those cannons before we can lock it down.
>>
>>26296400
Stop bitching, the GM would have ignored even the most perfectly correct answer. He only pulled this to get rid of the plot armor.

>>
>>26296459
Then he should have just fucking said that instead of sitting back and laughing about how dumb we are.
>>
>>26296344
I hope so too, but disabling it is more important. And killing off Frank and Rolo is -far- more important, without the year of being Lelouch's brother all he is is a walking total party kill that cannot be avoided.
>>
>>26296459
Then he could have just, you know, told us that he didn't want plot armour instead of going through with this charade and laughing about how smart he was for tricking us.
>>
>>26294915
...why the fuck did you guys not kill Frank when you had the chance last thread?

Seriously, why? Rolo couldn't kill us, we both needed to be alive to lure Lelouch to Kalamazoo Island...

Holy shit, I'm getting mad now. I think I'll take a break from this. Everything seems to go down the shitter when I go to bed anyways.
>>
>>26296484
Am I the only one that saw that as an excuse to KEEP our plot armor, instead of him trying to take it away?
It seems like this was basically us "burning it" to keep from being Geass'd by Frank in the first place. Since that feels like a Game Over scenario to me.

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH.

Good to know you don't read sage posts.

>>26296660
Fuck Rolo, we roll for a heart attack.
>>
You shake your head as you fight through the haze of geass to get your senses back. Taking a deep breath and remembering what you saw, you decide on your divergence point, and keep up the charade till then. Suzaku goes on to pro solo the Avalon while ignoring the Gawain to attack the dozens of turrets and what not. Kallen is able to put of a novel fight while having you and Jeremiah ride on top of the Guren.

Then you relay your decision to Kallen. Jeremiah understands your decision well enough, and accepts being a human missile to take down the Gawain. while not being terrified of flying through the sky on an explosive knee, you are able to appreciate the fine acrobatics of Jeremiah's jump, deftly avoiding the attacks of the Gawain before activating his Gefjon Disturber and locking down the Gawain's systems.

The float system peters out and the Gawain begins to plummet to the ground as Jeremiah laughs and attacks it with the blade on his arm. But even the greatest of soldiers cannot best gravity.

Before he is able to pierce into the cockpit, he is forced to relent the Gefjon Disturber so the float system can reactivate and halt the fall. You prepare yourself for launch as he strikes his blade into the steel one more time.
>>
>>26296701
Jeremiah is in a heap on the ground, and the Gawain moved when you blinked or something.

"Where the hell did it go?" Kallen asks before the Gawain's slash harken finger tips rip through the back of the float system, heavily damaging it, but not disabling it. "That's impossible!"

"I really thought you were going to follow suit with the blue haired one. Shame you didn't, would have been fun!" Frank taunts as he retracts his weapons.

Kallen spins the Guren around to face them, giving you only the slightest of glimpses at Jeremiah crawling.

"That's not right..."

[]Launch anyways
[]Hang on for dear life and let Kallen fight

"Nahh, I'll be fine. Trust me. I'm a professional."

"I'm a professional Starcraft player! I'm not very good but I'm professional at something!"

"Video games don't count and you know it. Next you're going to tell me that you're a proffessional Daft Punk DJ," she responds. You almost get the words out to counter her but she continues, "I'm not letting you give yourself up Nick."

also, he might notice when we start yelling because we can't hear the volume of our voice.
>>
>>26297469
You're ribs hurt, a lot. As if you had just been hit in the chest by a sledgehammer, because that's what the Gawain's hand feels like as it crushes around your body. The Guren is in front of you, grasping at nothing. A moment later Kallen spins around to face the Gawain.

"You sons of bitches! Put me down I say! Put me down! I was going to fucking surrender myself and you pull these shenanigans?"

"And why would we land to do that exactly? This seemed to work just fine," Frank responds as he spreads the arms of the Gawain wide. "And how do you know there are two of us in here?"

The Hadron Cannon begins to charge up as the BK rally on the ground and take aim as the Druid System activates along the bottom and back.

At this point we hit them with the RADIANT WAVE!

It's fortunate that they're not aware we can destroy them from their hand... Last time we delivered.. in our vision... It knocked them right the fuck out from the cockpit due to the reaction, yes?

Why do bad things need to be solved with Radiant wave tech?

The wave is a chain reaction in a direction, it would travel through the arm before the hand and cause the more important systems to get fried... or something.

We did it in our vision and we turned out fin, remember?

>We did it in our vision and we turned out fin, remember?
If by fine, you mean struggling to get our fleshy leg away from the molten mass.
>>
>>26297722

I'd also like to be able to choose how we go out...

Speaking of the future... If we end up on the ground again...We reload our leg ASAP and fry the shit out of Rolo.

He won't kill us. Then again, we WILL be getting reinforcements... so it's likely that if rolo gets out he'll be sniped.
>>
Also, I came up with a new name for Frank's Geass.

"Would You Kindly..."
>>
>>26297774

Right, and we know which way to struggle.

>>26297786
If we end up on the ground again, Frank is getting a radiant wave in his stupid face. The snipers can handle Rolo.

>>

>>
AHHHHH.

I just remembered.

Arthur mentioned that it took us longer to black out from Frank's Geass.

My thought is that it takes him more "convincing" if it's been used on a person already.

Either that, or it may involve the complexity of the command.
>>
"I swear Frank! If that goes off, you're going to be seeing a lot more of us on the ground than you have any desire to!"

"Is that supposed to be a threat? The two of us are sitting in the most advanced Knightmare Frame on the planet!" Frank boasts before you rev up your knee and slam it into the short fingers of the hand holding you. The Radiant Wave Surge rips through the hull plating, shredding the slash harken engines and collapsing the machinery. The Gawain jerks to the side as the hand nearly explodes, and the brunt of the Hadron Cannon goes wide, letting Kallen shield it with her own Radiant Surge. She quickly responds by digging her dagger into the waist of the Gawain.

But now you are falling. and the ground is rising up to meet you so quickly. The air is whipping by you as you fall down and down. Aftre a very intense experience with what sky diving is like, you hear Kallen scream out through her knightmare for you, and push off the Gawain to dive down.

Someone must have given the FIRE command just then, because the Black Knights all let loose their salvos on the Gawain. You manage to twist around to see the explosions impacting against the Druid System as the Guren snags you out of the air.

The Guren's Float system throttles up, sending great gusts of air across the air strip as the two of you land on the ground.

"Mortals..." Frank sneers as he turns the Hadron Cannon on the Black Knights and the anomalous knightmare enters the fray on the far side of the Avalon.

THe druid system is a battlefield prediction system... not a shielding system... How did it survive that attack?
>>
>>26298029
The Druid System is the unique Operating System for the Gawain's protection, they are usually referred to as one and the same.

And if you are Geassing, you of course have to roll 1d100

>>
>>26298059

>>
Rolled 39

>>26298059
Ok.

Let me try someone, Kamen Rider!
>>
>>26298059
and further more, it requires incredibly complex calculations that only Lelouch can use well. when Rolo tried to use it, he created a meagre defense with a number of weak spots.

>>
>>26298059

Druid System and Hadron Cannons are salvaged. Both technologies are incorporated into the Black Knights' flagship, the Ikaruga. It was also adapted by Rakshata to control the Absolute Defense Territory system of Zero's personal Knightmare, the Shinkirō.

>>26298084
Yeah, they're two totally different systems, it's why I "WUT" last thread when... Lancelot's gun didn't kill it? I can't remember if it was Lancelot...

But yeah, the thing doesn't have absolute defense tech, That's Rakshata's technology, in all likelihood.
>>
>>26298116
well, the actual shields are red, so that is very likely.
>>
>>26298059
I was under the impression that Absolute Defense Territory only worked because Lelouch was smart enough to handle the calculations, and that the Druid System just enabled that invention.
>>26298071
I would reaaaaaaaaaaaally like to burn plot armor to reroll that. Can we still do that?
>>
>>26298084
Right, it was my mistake calling it that last thread. The Gawain just has a generic defense system as far as I'm currently aware, so it's referred to as the Druid System to sound cooler, since the Druid System is part of it anyways

>>26298071
You can burn one of your 4 layers of plot armor to reroll that.

And in regards to the Shinkiro, since R2 doesn't really exist for this quest, it doesn't exist. The Gawain and it's utilities are still unique.
>>
>>26298135
the druid system didn't allow it to work. it just predicts projectiles trajectories and shifts the shields accordingly.
>>
>>26298159
I say burn it. Given that I just rolled that 7, someone else take shot. In fortuna confidimus, comrades.
>>
>>26298135

The druid system is necessary to predict the trajectories of the projectiles/attacks. The defense field is the reactive barrier that relies on the prediction technology.

Only Lelouch can use it well because it requires genius level intellect to make sense of the calculations.

Speaking of that, we really need to salvage the shit out of the Gawain for the Black Knights. Shinkiro is a gamechanger.

>>26298159
It should be low on battery with all this BS then... Oh, and it lost a hand, so that's good.

I vote we skip the Geass, Reload and have Kallen throw us since we're the only Projectile radiant surge she's got.
>>
>>26298159
the Avalon uses the Blaze Luminous system, which the Lancelot uses. I can only see the Gawain surviving that barage with no damage then what we inflicted if it was piloted by skilled pilots like Suzaku

It was a joke..

I'm just.. Well I'm a bit upset that the thing is at least twice as big as the Guren, got bombarded twice, still standing with the only damage on it being its hand which required a direct radiant wave from us.

Also, our reinforcement artillery didn't hit it a second time, or cointinued fire on it. Either they're destroyed, falling asleep, or Rolo's about to Heart attack.

I'm just pissed that invincible boss is killing everything and we can't do dick about it. We were better off with what happened in our initial vision... which also bothers me because Kallen threw Jeremiah first in the vision anyway and I don't think we really changed anything from there...

Rolo is in front, Frank only needs to say the first line and you black out, so even if the blast will slow kill him, which it will, he'll still get the geass off. The only reason it took so long last thread was because you were inside your own geass and thus the effect was merely simulated.

In our vision we weren't loud enough for the Anthem to work. I was thinking straight up hearing-destroying levels of LOUD MUSIC
>>
>>26299395
in your vision, you stopped singing every time Rolo time stopped you, so you weren't able to drown out 70% of it
>>
>>26299337

Rolo could freeze us and remove it.
He can't undo gouged ear-drums unless he's got rakshata-level science.

>>26299345
No, I think he's referring to the overall amount of invincible boss delivering onto us repeated failures.

We literally made no progress..

>>26299360
I... Don't understand if this is sarcasm or... you're actually impressed...

Honestly, the ebonics were a facade to conceal my true nature..
>>
>>26299414
So it's a matter of HEARING it, not PERCEIVING it. Okay.
We should slag the two fuckers anyway. Even if Frank gets his Geass off on us, we need to end his ass before he does it to anyone else.
And he shot down our waifu and nearly killed our LOYALTY! bro.
Fuck him and fuck Rolo too. Let them melt and die.
>>
>>26299395
And here's another thing that really bothers me. when did we ever go into a vision last thread while we were on the lancelot heading for the main battle? we never chose to use the Geass on ourselves. and further more, if the whole thing was a vision, then we should have seen through Rolo's Geass, since we see the future as it happens, not through the eyes of someone else.
>>
>>26299365
I'm being quite respectful, but there's a reason that the quest is ending early today and there's somewhat of a tizzy. If this can be fixed, everyone benefits! Most quests go through a period where the audience and runner are on separate trains of thought; the best ones take a bit to figure out the issue and solve it, while those that don't tend to wither and die. I'd like this to be the former.
>>
>>26299473
Baka, that was a way to bullshit avoid a game over.

And I still blame you chucklefucks for not killing Frank.
>>
>>26299473
by which i mean, we should have seen ourselves freeze up and rolo move around.
>>
>>26299473
I interpreted that as "Your decision lead to a bad end, 3 plot armor was burned. Now you have no bad end."
>>
>>26299473

That... that's actually a very good point.. We should have known what it was going to do.

> Frank is about to get a geass on you one way or another
>>
>>26299521
Doesn't work in terms of the story then; if you want it to be RESTART FROM LAST CHECKPOINT Y/N then don't try and justify it by twisting the in universe mechanics. I'm totally down for a retry however, but this isn't quite the right way to handle it
>>
Tbh I'd rather just go to the fucking island and try to work shit out there at this point. We can knee the fuck out of the emperor or something.
>>
>>26299521
that wasn't a bad end. we could have still fought back once we got to Kamine Island.
>>
>>26299395
>>26299414

I thought we plugged our ears while shouting the anthem? And then took the chance to fuck frank full of holes with our gun.

I loved that part.

Code is going to Kamine Island such a bad event that you really had to pull 'dream episode' shenanigans?

>>26299456
Agreed. Proposals to fuck frank up again? Rolo is an obvious problem.

Proposal
>Radiant wave the Gawain's legs before they can disembark.
>Reload Radiant Knee
>Plug ears with fingers.
>Rolo pulls timestop.
>Radiant Wave Rolo
>Shoot Frank
???

>>26299481
It's more an issue that Code seems to have a perfect solution in mind and tosses horrid failure at any other solution, assuming we aren't dull enough to not figure out his brilliant one-answer puzzle. Shit-tons of GMing articles advise against this and state that you need to plan for the idiot ball.

I mean, we aren't stupid, but we aren't telepaths, and haven't had the time I think we need to fully immerse into what the fuck is going on. We've been hurried throught the storyline faster than the show glossed over everything. It's a problem I've noted several times before.

>>26299564
My thoughts, I'm amicable to a wash of this thread, forget it ever existed, and move on, however, my proposal stands above if we want to play through this new level of prison rape. I mean that in the most affectionate way possible.
>>
>>26299564

Honestly I'd be behind this being deleted from the archive and just trying again, with some more clarity on the rules.
For example, that we're not the only ones with plot armor. As an expendable resource at least.
But that said the dream episode thing is fine. Hell, our Geass went runaway, it could -still- be the same dream episode.
>>
>>26299595

>>
>>26299638
Other characters having plot armor was all but explicitly stated, now that I think about it, but frankly, it's not something I care enough about to consider as a major change in how we operate.

Hell, you could see all the crtifails we rolled as other characters activating their plot armor.

>>26299677
I remember this. He definitely said that. I wonder what happens if we use our Geass on God.

It's entirely possible Frank could slide that command in to fuck us over during that segment where he was bleeding out.

Also, he was only bleeding out. We would end up with Cyber-Frank if we skipped six months ahead.

I'd honestly propose doing what Zeon Quest did when this sort of shit happened; call a Mulligan. Nobody is happy with the direction this scene is going, just try something different instead
>>
Cards on the table since there is a very good chance I in fact won't continue this as I'm not a masochist.

I do have rules, I do adjust them. I do try to abide them, but I am also trying to tell an engaging story.

Frank Geassing you IS NOT a bad end

Going to meet with V.V. is NOT necessarily a bad end

Going to meet with V.V. IS the end of the arc, as such, the Frank/Rolo combo is more or less a boss that shouldn't get one shotted as dictated by narrative progression and game tension

You are in a different situation than the dream sequence. Jeremiah isn't as dead as Ohgi, you didn't lose your arm, but the Guren got destroyed

And the honest to God reason I did the vision asspull? I walked away from last thread completely unsatisfied with how that Geass battle went compared too Mao, and realized that I did it wrong, so I offered you all a redo.
>>
>>26299773
same. I was perfectly happy with how last thread ended. because at least there we basically guarenteed that Frank was gonna die.
>>
>>26299745
Also, we need some more ANTHEM

>>26299770
>>26299773
To be honest, Code Geass was mostly asspull just more fun with it than Death Note in the second season. Also, the author can always do more asspull than the viewers because he knows everything perfectly- because he's the author.

A mulligan and discussion on what went wrong with our and code's expectations could be for the best.

>>26299800
Technically you FORCED a redo, you didn't offer jack skippy to us.

Also, can we get a pastebin on the rules, I don't think the playerbase has been formally introduced in a while.
>>
>>26299800
Come on man, this isn't just a Code Geass quest, it's Meta Game Code Geass; the idea of narrative progression and game tension went out the window around thread 2. Just take a week off, figure out how you want to handle the quest and come back. Right now this isn't working, but I have faith you'll find a way
>>
>>26299800
okay, so you were unsatisfied, which is understandable. still, we, the player's were quite satisfied. you could have at least stated so and asked us if we wanted to redo, instead of forcing it on us.
>>
>>26299753

I meant that Arthur's jimmies are rustled.

>>26299773
HOW ABOUT.

OUR GEASS CREATES AN ALTERNATE TIMELINE?!

Dr. Who would be proud of such flatulence.

I do think we need some detailing about the combat happening around us.

We've got a small-scale war going on and no decisive supporting fire, intervention, and so on.

>>26299800
That end was perfectly fine by me. This course of action thus far has had us bashing our head into a WALL.

and GUESS WHO'S THE WALL?!

Man Arthur, you've been a cool guy and I know how it is to run a quest. But just as much as we've "Done this to ourselves" You've done this to yourself... We're not mindreaders.
>>
>>26299800
tl;dr : everyone chill the fuck out. He's trying and you all cloud up the vote expecting him to magically pull out your solution.

And past threads stand as proof that the way forward with him is always through the darkest depths.

see
>Getting our leg ripped off got us Kallen and a robot leg
>Getting abducted by Frank got Geass out in the air and Ohgi's loyalty
>Lancelot's float system led to us capturing it
>Mao's attack earned us LOYALTY

Shit happens, and it helps more than the good stuff helps.
>>
>>26299800
Okay, I'm going to level with you Code.
I like this story. I like it a lot. I haven't followed a quest thread since half of Zeon Quest and I got interested. I don't want to see this die because some chucklefucks through a hissy fit.
If you don't want to run it, I can't make you though. Or really blame you considering the shit you took.
I think you need this mulligan as much as we want it. No one is satisfied with this situation I think; we aren't because of perceived powerlessness and DM-Fiat, and you aren't because we abused you not unlike a Taiwanese hooker.
Let's have a redo on Wednesday, picking up from the dream sequence.
>>
>>26299879

The playerbase PANIC'd far worse than we've ever done before- I read through outright terror. That's as realisitic a reaction as you can hope for. Frank needs direct voice for his Geass to work. If he wants us to come quietly, he'll get out once we're properly locked up. If we can't hear him because our hearing is gone, then his Geass shouldn't work.
If we pretend to get geassed, then they'll likely put us in the cockpit as we'll be pacified and under their control... from their perspective.
Of course, we'll need to use our own Geass to successfully know what Frank's going to say so that we can react accordingly.
If they think we're pacified, they won't have us remove our gun. If they turn their backs, rather, if rolo turns his back, we shoot him to stop time stop. And Frank can then be shot or kneed at our leisure.
>>26300560
It's also interesting that he says that this is no plan without presenting a real counterplan.

If this goes off with few hitches, we'll be in the absolute ideal position.
What's wrong with that?

We use our fingers, cover our ears like wer'e panicking, as we ARE, we're having a massive panic attack. In the middle of that we turn our eardrums into gaping holes.

Also, I don't think they expect this level of pure insanity.
We've been crazy before. But not this... mad...
>>

>>26300603
Alternate plan:
Since we still have use of our Radiant Surge in our leg, we know that the Gawain is searching for us but is going to retreat because it's low on power, we can use our Land Spinner to get to it, because it's landed, get up on it, and destroy its power supply.
With it's power gone, we have the time to send a Radiant Surge into the cockpit before Frank can engage an emergency manual release.
>>
>>26300757

THe caveat to that is Rolo's time-stop.
We'd have to rely on the point that he's approaching Heart Attack.

>>
>>26300703
You have your metaphor backwards. Anon is the mask, tripfagging is removing the mask and being accountable for your contribution, and is directly against the spirit of this entire site barring a few exceptional circumstances (QMs, Tutoring, etc)

>>
>>26300793
>Because there isn't one, that I know of.
WELL, THERE'S OUR PROBLEM.

>>
>>26300791

If a person mad enough can claw out his own throat, then we can turn our ears into gaping holes. We'd do more then poke out our eardrums, we'd destroy our ears. That's the sacrifice that we'd need to make...

Oh, and if/when we succeed in gouging out our eardrums and putting our mask back on.... We could put our gun to our head to force frank or rolo out of the gawain. Rolo's ability has a time limit after alll, I doubt they could stop us in one burst, and we'd be able to turn fire on frank or rolo while he's trying to speech us.
>>
>>26300784
Rolo has to know that we're there.
And according to our Geass, HE DOESN'T BECAUSE THE GAWAIN RETREATS!

>>26300786
Admittedly, this could be a problem. I'm hoping that the Land Spinners will give us an edge.

>>26300791
I know about Rolo and his Geass.
The point is to make his Geass a non-issue by trapping him inside a powered-down Knightmare that can't function because its batteries are slagged.
>>
>>26300815
I wouldn't say that it goes up against the spirit of the site per say. It just seems like a choice to me. Image boards made to put pictures up and talk about them or what relates to them. I might not namefag, but I don't get mad at people who do.

>>
>>26300813
You're right in that it might not get through.
At the least I want to melt parts of it enough that the cockpit can't be opened even with a manual release.
Then we simply either wait for them to run out of oxygen, or we get creative with explosives.
>>
>>26300852
Do we even know where the power supply is? We'd be better off just aiming for the cockpit and cooking the motherfuckers at that point.

The Gawain is like 2-3 times the size of most KMF.. it's huge... thinking on that part, we might not have the time to get them before emergency release. We also don't know where its power supply is.

The safest route would be to find our way into the cockpit.

I guess, but the basis of the site is that every contribution is judged on it's own merit, with no preconceived bias to corrupt it's value, either up or down. Attaching a name to content will always have this effect purely because of human nature. If everyone namefagged, then we'd be reddit - Not *necessarily* a bad thing, reddit has it's good points as much as 4chan does, but reddit is already a thing which exists, and we don't need another one.

So the plan's out then? Ear-gouging plan involves killing both of them, acquiring a mostly in-tact gawain, druid system, and Hadron cannons.
With the bonus of putting us directly in the cockpit.

If we go on the offensive now, we'll need to risk them countering our advance. We don't know where the power supply is, we'll damage the Gawain, possibly lose the Hadron cannons along with the druid system and they might STILL get away because ROLO reacted.
>>
>>26301022
How convenient they're in the same Radiant Wave-able tin can!
I wasn't trying to discount Frank's threat, just that it's the kind you can potentially do something about. Lock them up, Lelouch counter-Geass, etc.
You can't do anything about being shot through the brain because you couldn't dodge because Rolo stopped time for you, other than die.
>>
>>26301022
So what is Frank's geass exactly? Is it like Lulu's or what?

It's like Lelouch's except based upon use of his natural voice. He talks to you directly, no eye contact required and you're persuaded to obey.

As near as I can tell...
He "persuades" you with the sound of his voice. It has to be his voice, not his voice through a machine. But otherwise yes, it works like Lelouch's with the added benefit of working on the same person multiple times.
>>26301067
I want to go with this, but there's factors we can't really risk this because of.
We have nothing to gouge the eardrums with.
We don't know if we could even get through the pain of this.
We don't know if they won't just fly us out in Gawain's hands.
We could black out from blood loss.
We might not snap out of our Geass in time.
>>
Frank got nerfed in the evolution
>>
>>26301170

>Robot ears for Daft Punk
The injury is invalid. It said that they're beside us, and if we yell at them, they'll try to complete their mission to capture us. If we're on the ground, let's find some sort of shrapnel to do the deed,... We DID explode its hand and if it doesn't see us yet, we'll have the time to do so.

You people are really stuck in a functional rut right now. Break out of it and you'll find a solution.

Although I'm fairly certain, without giving it too much thought, that the perfect solution would have either been letting Kallen solo it, or telling Jeremiah how Rolo's geass works so that one of you would be able to kill him before he could time combo you, then have Jeremiah shoot Frank midspeech. 4. Fail miserably at killing him
5. Rave. "Kallen isn't important! The Black Knights aren't important. DAFT PUNK ISN'T IMPORTANT. WHAT'S MOST IMPORTANT IS KILLING YOU AND GOING TO KALAMZOO. THEY ALMOST HAVE THE SAME PRIORITY.

>>
>>26301389
They can pacify us by crushing our legs first and then taking us. They don't have the time to stop, open their cockpit, and Geass us. Faster for them to break our leg and carry us off.
They're low on energy and they know they need to get out of here; why stick around and Geass us, when they can neutralize us, take us, and get away in half the time.
>>
OH! We have upgraded skill in land-spinner use.

>>
>>26301414
That depends on us still having our phone or being able to call up Suzaku; I don't think our helmet has a commlink, either.

If we could call him, that'd be great, but I think we should plan without depending on being able to bring him into this.
>>
>>26301358

For as much as I'm defending my plan, I'm ironing out how we could make it work. Your poking holes in it only makes it stronger, and I appreciate that.
Though it seems at this point that you only want to be contrary and that's not getting us anywhere. I honestly believe the ideal situation is planting our NEET ass in Gawain's cockpit over the corpses of Rolo and Frank for all the shit they've put us through.

We burn a plot armor to bear the pain of shoving bullets in our ears.
Putting our mask on to hide the damage
Frank will pacify us, because we're a fucking hornet that they can't hold. And if we can't hear him, he can't do so. We geass to see what he says and pretend to be under his control.
If the command DOESN'T get us in the cockpit, we shoot the exposed fucker and begin our systematic takedown.. that is, if unless Rolo gets in the way at that point, which he likely WILL... We'll be in the same position as if we began the systematic takedown of the Gawain.

We can fix the damage with robot ears and we'll never have to worry about frank geassing again if all this does fail.

>>26301497
I wonder why rolo didn't shoot our legs in the vision, or incapacitate us. Or crush us in the Gawain's hand- Oh wait, we can explode it.

>>
>>26301535
It makes much more sense that Rolo would simply Geass us, and during that time, Frank will use the Gawain's remaining hand to crush our cyberleg and then simply grab us and fly away.

Why would he bother to Geass us here, when he can neutralize us, get away, and Geass us later in safety much faster?

Your entire plan is based upon the enemy being too stupid to see an obvious trap laid out before them. That's why I'm against it.
>>
>>26301463
This has merit; extreme willpower can beat a Geass and we just watched Kallen "die."
Rolo is well trained but he won't expect it and will die like a bitch when we're surprised, then we can off Frank.
>>

>>
>>26301644

The problem is that we don't have eye contact with him, unless we're geassing ourselves.in a reflection. And our visions tend to exlude our own actions in it, so that wouldn't work either as the timeline being viewed assumes that we're in a trance.

>>26301693
I'm gonna say yes.

>>26301659
>Insert Frank's ego here.
He doesn't expect us to come up with shit at this point, he looks down on us. We're a man, and he's in a god of a machine. We can't touch him, let alone dent him save for our knee.
We need his ego to be his downfall. It also seems doubtful that Rolo would destroy our legs if V.V. wants us brought to him intact and in control of our senses.
Having your legs broken is blindingly painful unless you're doped up on adrenaline. And even then, we could black out and become worthless to them.

I agree with the willpower idea as well. A plot armor for that I say, if it's indeed valid. Replace people in our own minds the same way that we'd hallucinate replacing vidya and anime characters....
One geass will overwrite the other... and if not... we're doomed anyway.
>>
>>26301769
Or are we that desperate? Have we ever actually taken deals like that before? If so, what were they and what was the result?
>>
The price could be nothing at all. Remember last time?

Ir maybe its an excuse for me to play waifu's advocate. Or perhaps someone somewhere who you may or may not know will die.. I could just want to rush to some DEEP PLOT. Or Kallen gets captured.

But you all know I'm a nice guy

>Frank's Ego
>assuming that he ever let's his ego trump his effectiveness
He's arrogant, but he hasn't made a mistake with his ego before.
And we hurt his god of a machine with our knee; why should he take the chance that we could damage it again, when his machine's mortality is screaming in his face that it is damaged and low on energy?
And even if we're not immediately of use to them because we're unconscious or pumped full of painkillers because of them destroying our cyberleg, that just means that they have to wait a little. It's not like they're on a timetable and they need us NOW; they can afford to wait.

He's also risked Geassing us before because his power can black us out in seconds. Unless we stick bullets in our ears.
He wouldn't have to hurt us anymore and we'd theoretically walk quietly into his mech or even sit on its hand.

Imagine if someone previously Geassed by Lelouch... king of plans and ego, was disguised as someone important, like... let's say Schneizel and suddenly he finds that ":Schneizel" can't be geassed.
Better example. Lelouch found the Emperor couldn't be Geassed.
Lelouch lost his shit.
Frank would LOSE HIS SHIT.

Personally, I'd take that deal. But the leash is chafing on the others. If I might be so bold...

A storyteller must be like the fisherman. If he reals in his fish too quick or too hard, the fish will wretch and pull against him. But if he is patient, and allows the fish to slowly come to him, then he may strike. And then, my dear nephew, means he will eat well that night.

I for one, welcome our new Sith questmasters.
>>
>>26302018

Ever try to vaccuum something that's stuck against the wall, just out of reach of the damn thing getting it?
Did you ever pick it up and just throw it away, or did you move it just so that you could suck it up with the vaccuum.

If it's the former, you're a goddamn liar. We've all done it. It's a typical failure among us that when we're set on achieving something in a certain way, that we'll adjust accordingly to do so.
I am obviously guilty of this right now. As I'm fighting for maximum victory.
It's just as likely that Frank will pop his head out to get us to come quietly without us resisting or causing further damage.
The Gawain is huge after all, and Rolo's ability has a time limit. Can Gawain's fingers articulate well enough to crush our legs? We'd need an in-perspective take on that. He could knock us out, but then we likely won't wake up for a while.
If i were Frank, I'd move Nick into my Geass's range so that I could do what I came here to do.
>>
>>26302058
I could do without having our collective noses rubbed in the dirt for failing to achieve SSS Rank on each Episode.

I blame myself for not being here until everything was already said and given up on, but that's my shame to own, not anyone else's.
>>
>>26302098
Actually, yes I have just picked it up and thrown it away.
You're a goddamn idiot for basing an entire plan on a character trait that Frank hasn't ever displayed. That's what makes the plan stupid.
>>
>>26302127
Hey, that's me joking around. I am not a fan of tight leashes in these things. I blame myself for not being here either, but I was off GMing an EToE game so, fuck it.

Either attack directly at its Energy Filler, Yggdrassil Drive, or at the back of the knee/ Float System (since it's more visible).
>>
>>26302156

You have, but it's not something you'll always do. It's psychology. A human habit of insanity that everyone will display.
I also appreciate that he'd likely be panicking and thinking.
>"Oh, there's the little faggot! Lemme just Geass him and he won't do that annoying red shit from before!"
If I were him, yeah... I might not let Nick in the cockpit.. Even after Geass. But that would be my own quickest solution in the heat of the moment.
Also, until I came up with that plan we were ragequitting and bitching all over. It at least helped to get people thinking again. All you're doing is shitting all over it at this point.

I'd like to see you give us a fail-proof plan.
FAIL-PROOF.
>>26302213
I'll take that as a complement. But as I've said, I want to maximize success while minimizing our loses.

>Robot ears is a win for Nick.
>>
>>26302213
Hey man, I get you completely. Too late to do it tonight, but you ever think of starting one? Might satisfy, might not.
>>
>>26302243
We don't know where the filler or the drive is.
>Holes in plan
We hit the knee, Rolo notices something is amiss.
>Hole in plan.
>Float system...
I could support if we can fully disable it. If we can kill the float system they can't fly... and Gawain is slow as shit... We could capture it that way.. I like it.
>>
>>26302246
>I'd like to see you give us a fail-proof plan.
>FAIL-PROOF.
Right now, the only fail-proof plan is to not do jack shit so that Frank and Rolo retreat because they're low on energy. We KNOW that's what they're going to do because that's what we've seen in our Geass so long as we don't change anything.
With them leaving, Suzaku can finish off the Avalon while we get medical aid to Jeremiah and Kallen.
>>
>>26302252
>asking Nixon to do a quest
Oh god, you do not know the depths of faggotry to which you request to be taken.
>>
>>26302298
That seems like a decent plan, but it seems like there's too much that could go wrong if our vision was even just a tad off.
>>
>>26302298

But if their sensors pick us up, they'll try to recoup their loses just as much as we are. And Frank's Geass will black us out...
Or Rolo's will stop us while they, as you've said, disable us in some way.

We can't do nothing, and we can't flee unless it's to hide and not get noticed.

>>26302326
I didn't say the float system wasn't obvious. but Gawain's 3times the size of a normal KMF... We may have trouble going from the ground to float system. Otherwise, I'm completely down for wrecking that shit.
>>
>>26302332
TRON Quest, actually it was his first quest soooo, I mean I guess he could try again, but I'mma nope the fuck outta there the moment I see someone post zergface
>>
>>26302316
I think if we hide but load a new charge in our Radiant Knee we'll be alright. We just start the trigger if we hear Frank's voice, before we black out, and point it at the Gawain.
>>
>>26302356
What does zergface have to do with it?
>>
>>26302366

It's not a long range weapon. If we hear Frank's voice we get geassed. Regardless of what we do, entering a world without sound is the only way to avoid Frank's Geass if he chooses to use it.
>>
>>26302325
>But if their sensors pick us up
They landed right behind us and is going to start scanning, and they're going to retreat because Jeremiah is on the way and Frank wants to get away before Jeremiah's Gefjon Disturber gets in range.

So the foolproof plan is to do nothing so that Frank gets driven off by Jeremiah.
>>
>>26302349
>land spinner skills++

>>26302356
Hey, screaming internally guy; the whole board has those zergface pics now, so it's highly likely that anytime somebody thinks I'm running a quest that they'll be posted, or not because I'm a terrible QM or whathaveyou

They might just as well slash harken his burai since he can't use the disturbers unless he decides to jump out again.

And then Jeremiah gets to hear some of Frank's sweet voice unless Loyalty decides to be SMART and gouge out some eardrum.
>>
>>26302382
Or rather don't use my tripcode, search for the name "MCP"
>>
>>26302401
>They might just as well slash harken his burai
Jeremiah isn't in a Burai; what the fuck are you talking about?
>>
>>26297987
>[]Geass Jeremiah (who is just now getting back to his Burai)
>>26302462
I've been paying attention.
I'd like you to notice.
>>
>>26302462
That could be our opening to attack, though.
With them preoccupied we could run up them with our landspinners and Knee the cockpit, or the float system.
>>
>>26302401
>>26302467
One way or the other, Jeremiah can take down the Gawain right now.
Using his Burai, which is undamaged, versus the Gawain, which is low on power and is missing one hand, or by getting out and using his own landspinners to get in range and use his Gefjon Disturber to power down the Gawain and just shoot at the cockpit as it opens.

Either way, Frank retreats.
>>
>>26302524
Two attacks are better than one, especially if we warn Jeremiah about the two Geass users in the Gawain's cockpit.
>>
>>26302560
So we... what is it? Radiant Wave the legs. Surge should travel up to the midsection at least.

>>26302568
And yeah, warn Jeremiah.
>>
>>26302524

Lets say that happens.

We'd need to hit the cockpit without Rolo interfering. Or else we'd be Stopped and Geassed by the two. We get sent to the island.

If we get the float system, Frank's last resort would be to open the cockpit... and then we're fighting for the wrong team.

If Frank opens up, and we can't resist his Geass, he's going to win.

We'll need to stab out our own ear-drums to keep from being Geassed. Period.
Look, I'm not even saying that we're going to fake-surrender. I'm saying that we need to do it if we're going to take at least one Geass out of the equation.

>>26302576
We'll warn him if we can, but I don't see us being able to communicate fast enough in the heat of the moment.
>>
>>26302589
But stabbing out our ears is even more time-consuming than warning Orange and just going for it.
>>
>>26302648

If need be... will we sacrifice Orange? because as Arthur said, one way or another... we're going to get geassed.
If Orange can buy us the time we need to gouge out our own ears to succeed in killing them... then that may be what we need.

Also, we don't know if Orange is even on our side right now.

Everything froze right before he got the cockpit open.
He could be getting ready to catch us since he's already been geassed.
>>
>>26302576
Take out it's knee as soon as it goes after Jeremiah, leaving it open for Jeremiah to finish it off.
>>
>>26302684
If we have to sacrifice something, sacrifice the Shinkirou.
>>
>>26302589
Jeremiah can machine gun the cockpit because his burai has a torso-mounted machine gun.

Also, the Gawain's cockpit armor is already damaged, and nearly critical from Jeremiah's previous attacks on it. One good Radiant Surge at its weak point could get through.
>>
>>26302710
>>26302684

Agreed, you'd rather sacrifice LOYALTY over tech, and we're looking at getting two of the best onto our team.
>>
>>26302710
Wait, didn't we text Lulu for reinforcements? What happened to those?
>>
>>26302734
That was the artillery strike on the Gawain, and it responded with a Hadron Cannon strike on the BK positions, sending them into disarray.
>>
>>26302734
not arriving yet?
>>26302766
ah
>>
>>26302710
>Shinkirou can turn the tide of battle with Absolute defense Territory, predict the movements of enemies, fly, and even shoot out a weapon capable of destroying an entire squad of KMF.
A high cost...

I'm only saying that Jeremiah very likely got Geassed by frank earlier. We don't know for certain if he's getting back up on our side, or the enemy's.
And I'd rather have Shinkirou's overwhelming prowess rather than... I dare say it.. Jeremiah's loyalty.

>>26302726
>>26302734
Funny thing.
The artillery tried, a shield that the Gawain shouldn't have completely blocked their attack and the Hadron cannons effectively crippled them.
>>
>>26302778

>>
>>26302827

Really rather burn it to get our phat ass planted in the Gawain with Rolo and Frank dead.
That would literally be the best way to burn it.

>>
>>26302846
I gotta admit though. I'm worried that CA may not want to continue the quest. Shit got heated today, and I've seen people quit over less.

I mean, I got my complaints about some of CA's calls, but the quest has been pretty entertaining so far and I'd be sad to see it go.
>>
>>26302869

As a fellow QM, I know what it's like to run a magical realm... though my players never got this upset over anything...

I'd be sad to see this one go too. It's one of the few others I still follow.
>>
Following that.. I think the real problem is that he went ahead and made us potato at the exact wrong time in all this mess, or rather the votes were counted in an odd way and we got hijinked into using Geass.

We've KNOWN that it really shouldn't be used IN COMBAT because it trances us out and we lose time. This was literally the absolute worst time to make that decision.

Ironically, before Geass, becoming Kallen's projectile was our best bet due to plot armor.
>>
>>26302778
We have Rakshata -and- we have Lloyd and we can potentially have them working on the same project.
What did that get in the series? Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. which was powerful enough to beat the Lancelot Albion, with Suzaku piloting it empowered by Geass.
THAT is, at this point, a KMF that can't be defeated and we could have it very soon.

...not to mention the only thing we need to salvage is the Druid System. Once we have that we can build the Shinkirou from scratch.
>>
>>26302940
hence why we used it the first time
>>
>>26302891
You're a QM? What'd you run if you don't mind me asking?

As for the players getting upset, I hope CA learns something from this thread. I get where he's coming from on stuff, butt he's gonna have to change his attitude a bit to keep his audience.

Or we go back to dice. That might at least channel player rage to the RNG, or something.
>>
>>26302968

True, it's a good point.

However Lloyd only joins us if we WIN this battle. Showing him that we're the WINNING side.

If we hijack Gawain, get a new energy fiuller and use hadron cannons to obliterate our opposition like they did to us, we'll effectively win in his eyes and have a mostly intact KMF that they can strip down and reverse engineer whatever tech they want.

I'd imagine that the Guren's long range armament was based off of the hadron cannons at that.

>>26303002
I'd rather not say, based on people getting fed up with my antics here. All I can say is that it's got good players and I love doing it. And it's really not like I'm trying to sabotage this or anything. I try to come up with plans that get Nick ahead... sometimes in interesting and daring ways.

How? He can't kill us, that's not his end game. Gawain isn't articulate enough to take our weapon, and if Rolo stops time long enough for him to open the cockpit, Jeremiah catches up and wastes his ass.
We could shoot ourselves in the shoulder or something to show we're serious. Play up the trauma of what happened under V.V. "I'd rather die then go back!" kind of deal.

That'll do it, it's hard to call a bluff on suicide after a guy's already shot himself intentionally once to prove he's got the stones.

If I don't get to the next game in time, push this tactic as hard as possible for votes.

True, we'd need to hope that Jeremiah is still in fact on our side... then again, Lelouch stole it from Kamine island ad piloted it no problem, with C.C. in toew if I recall. We could at least get ito to fly if we replenished the fillers.

Putting a gun to our head would be the most likely way of forcing him to stop us. That is, if rolo doesn't get to us first. The problem lies once again that if Rolo gets us, Frank gets us. which is the reason I've advocated destroying our hearing so fervently. If we had a way to blast Daft punk into our eardrums, I'd say we'd do that instead.

But It's the only fail-proof way I see of stopping Frank's geass.

If it occurs within the first few words like we've been told, Jeremiah would have to take advantage of that small window of opportunity.

Here's a new idea of getting rid of our hearing.

Guns are loud. Very loud. Eardrum shattring loud if fired at close range.

We Shoot NEXT to both of our ears to destroy our hearing by rupturing our eardrums.

That solves the problem of TIME in doing so. They'll see us firing, and that'll draw their attention.

MUCH BETTER

Now you're trying, One
>>
>>26303804
Now we're thinking!
Okay, so... blow out our hearing with our gun at point-blank.
Load a fresh Radiant Knee.
Geass ourselves to see how they react.
When they come to investigate, put the gun to our head and tell them we would rather die then go with them.
Shoot ourself if Frank calls our bluff.
When he opens the cockpit, play the part of the Geassed fool.
Take the opportunity to do whatever damage we can to the Gawain if they don't let us in the cockpit, which they might for long-distance flight-don't want us blacking out and dying off after all.
If we end up in the cockpit, blow out Rolo's brain, then Frank's.

Sound good?

>Okay, so... blow out our hearing with our gun at point-blank.
Frank's Geass is solved.. Problem arrises, we can't fake mind-enslavement
>Load a fresh Radiant Knee
Prepared for battle.
>Geass ourselves to see how they react.
Mind slave-ness act solved.
>When they come to investigate, put the gun to our head and tell them we would rather die then go with them.
Frank is forced to Geass to take us alive
>Shoot ourself if Frank calls our bluff.
Frank is forced to believe us if there's any doubt.
>When he opens the cockpit, play the part of the Geassed fool.
Cockpit entry may be attained, we proceed to maximum win stage
>Take the opportunity to do whatever damage we can to the Gawain if they don't let us in the cockpit, which they might for long-distance flight-don't want us blacking out and dying off after all.
Fallback plan that allows us second-maximum win... We'll need try for the float system..
>If we end up in the cockpit, blow out Rolo's brain, then Frank's.
Absolute maximum win for encounter.

This is all agreeable unless we can find any more holes to plug up. I think in this course of events, even if Jeremiah isn't on our side anymore, we've got a good shot at this.
>>
>>26303915
Question, what part makes you think Jeremiah was Geassed? I thought he was just crippled by being timestopped as the Shinkirou fell.
>>
>>26303868
Jeremiah is still coming.
Even if we get Frank to stop and pay attention, Rolo could stop Jeremiah so that Frank could take him out first before dealing with us.
And Jeremiah is on our side as our Geass showed Frank retreating from an advancing Jeremiah.
If Jeremiah had been compromised, there would be no reason for Frank to retreat so quickly.
>>
>>26303915
Rolo could hypothetically take all our Surge cartridges, our gun, leg's power cell, etc.

But that accomplishes the objective of giving him a heart attack.

>Fallback Part Deux: Falling Further
Grab whatever materiel is on hand and use it fuck with the Gawain.
>>
>>26303943
How does Rolo even know where these are? Or where the Knee holds the cartridge? And sure, he could take the gun, but failing that we Radiant Knee the cockpit, and thus him-stopping the Gawain.
If he takes the leg's power cell, we can't even walk up into the cockpit, so that's unlikely.
It's too risky for him to try.
>>
>>26303984
cameras?

basic strategy, assume the enemy will eliminate your advantage after the first use, all uses unmolested thereafter are considered a bonus
>>
>>26303934
Rolo fucks up people's perception of time, and frank can black people out starting with a few words. In that interval when Jeremiah opened the cockpit, he could've been hit with Frank's Geass along with Rolo's. I'm just saying, it's something that could go wrong as much as anything that the anon said pertaining to them breaking our legs and so on.
>>26303941
Alright, that's a good thing then... but in the same breath, yeah, Rolo's ability could take out jeremiah just as easily. It's why we can't rely on him for the plan.

>>26303984
I think he's got like an 8 second time limit on his power. In canon, the problem is that when he uses his power, his own heart also stops for the duration... which is why excessive use promotes a heart attack.

>>26303943
He wouldn't have reason to if we're presumably pacified by frank. Though if Rolo gets anywhere near close enough without using his Geass, we're putting a radiant knee into him.
>>
>>26304004

They have sensors, They don't necessarily know what it was that broke Gawain's hand. Only that catching us did it. As I recall our robotic enhancements are actually rather... subtle. So They could even think that it was the guren that did it..They know about the Radiant wave's insane effects..
>>
>>26304004
This thing is brand new, custom Rakshata tech. I really doubt there's a big button that says "INSERT RADIANT CARTRIDGE HERE" that's obvious to find. Besides that, he'd have to search us while timestopped-we eliminated Frank's Geass from this equation, so he can't black us out.
>>
>>26304013
>when Jeremiah opened the cockpit
Jeremiah didn't open the cockpit.
That happened during our big long self-induced Geass.
In actuality he only damaged the cockpit and wasn't able to get through its armor completely.
>>
>>26304089

He was almost through it in this. He was one more slash from getting through and then timestop happened. to all of us. We can't know what happened. during that time.
I DO hope that Jeremiah isn't Geassed, though Arthur could go ahead and do that to us. Like everything else, it's a variable that we can't be completely certain of.
>>
>>26304111
I think the fact we saw them retreating with our Geass makes it a safe risk.
Well, I'm out. Going to do some Geass-lacking blacking out. Make sure the archive's up to date, that way we can push the plan next... whenever the fuck Odin's Day is.
>>
>>26304205

Wednesday I think.

I'm out too. Keep it real guys.
>>
All things considered, you gotta say this is pretty much par for the course as far as the GEASS EXPERIENCE is concerned
