I take the best of three, barring any Critical Successes or Critical Failures. If I have not yet asked for dice, and you roll anyway, your roll will count towards the next time I ask for rolls be it for good or ill. After I get three results for a roll, all others are discarded. Normally I take best of 3. If you delete rolls, I will discard that and take the second highest roll.Last time!Waving to your friends, you quickly climb the ladder to Urahara’s shop. When you arrive up there, you see Urahara and Tessai sitting over a piece of paper, talking angrily. To the side is Chizuru sitting uncomfortably, a miserable expression on her face.Urahara looks up at you. “Ichigo, we need to talk.”The shopkeeper looks over at Chizuru, a frown on his face as Chizuru’s eyes clench shut, looking pained.
When he looks back, he closes his eyes, pulling his hat down. When he speaks next, his voice is very quiet and melancholic.“…your friend, Ichigo. Miss Chizuru is undergoing Soul Suicide and I don’t know how to stop it. She doesn’t have much time left.”Urahara grits his teeth and lowers himself into a deep bow, hat in hand, his voice filled with regret.“There’s nothing more I can do. I’m sorry.”You grab him by the collar, shaking him. “What the hell do you mean there’s nothing more that you can do?!”He looks away. “Normally, when a soul is hollowifed, it and the hollow’s boundaries of the soul erode, along with the one of the soul itself and the outside world erode. The soul then, regardless of its own will, self-destructs.”He pries your hands from his collar. “If it were merely hollowfication ,I could do something. This wouldn’t be a problem. However, the boundaries being eroded are between that of Miss Chizuru and the Hoguyoku itself.”Putting on his hat, he looks away. “I don’t know what will happen, as the Hogyoku is beyond even my understanding now, a power completely unrelated to Reiatsu.”Tessai gives a nod. “Yes, when I first saw it, I felt like its presence was trying to stifle my very existence.”Urahara sits down, slamming a fist onto his table. “The fact of the matter is that she soul is being torn apart, as the Hogyoku is trying to restructure it. However… a soul can only withstand so much, Ichigo. If the process continues… “It‘ll speed up as it restructures her soul, degrading her soul, causing it to restructure faster, causing a total degradation of the soul until Soul Suicide. ”He trails on, looking miserable as Chizuru sits nearby, trying to hold back tears.>You have control
