After you make it back to Campus, you collapse into bed with Tomoko, too exhausted from the events of the night to think about anything else. For once, your dreams are peaceful and uninterrupted by Caster's memories. All too soon, however, your sleep is interrupted as Assassin wakes you up for the day. Tomoko is sprawled out on the bed awkwardly, still fast asleep.

"Let her sleep some more. I've got some things to check up on, if you need me give me a call." You tell Assassin softly. She nods and disappears as you leave the room. You make your way down underneath the Library and Caster manifests himself in front of you as do the girls under his contracts.

"Caster, we're going to go check out the Grail. Something...odd is going on with this war, and the Grail seems the best place to start our investigation." You tell him.

~I agree. Things are very different from the initial estimates I received when I was summoned. I'm also being led to believe my presence here is actually unusual, being that I cannot, in any way, be classified as a human spirit.~ He replied.

"Right. Sayaka, Lancer. Can you two stay behind and back up Assassin and Tomoko in case something goes drastically wrong?" You ask. The two girls nod and a small knot of tension uncurls from your stomach. "Ayase, Yuri, you two will be with me. Berserker..." You begin, unsure of what to do with the mad servant.

No way this can possibly go wrong.

At least we'll be able to work in relative peace while everyone else is worried about the Zerker Witch on a rampage.

Also,
>Leaving Sayaka and Kyoko together

We're going to come back to an exhausted Sayaka and a trashed room. I give it 50/50 odds she drags Tomoko/Assassin into it as well.
>>
>>25979101

Because she isn't exactly useful. Is the main reason I say we do it.

Though we shouldn't do it in front of the the other Medgucas
>>
>>25979339
I agree. And we should probably get rid of her if she starts making familiars or mundanes start going insane.
>>
>>25979373

Depends on our control over the familiars. We can just kill them if we are worried and no one cares about mundanes. Caster was almost killing 1000+ at a time with no real repercussions.
>>
>>25978980
>[X]Let Berserker go

Time to puke out my thoughts:

1. We should really find our corpse because our house and car keys were on it and we have to make sure our car isn't trashed. If it is, we'll kill the SOB who... oh wait, we'll salvage our car for materials.

2. Our allies who know of our body-swapping abilities should call us "Nicole/Julie" when we're female because it's kind of weird for a woman to be called Nicholas when other people are around.

3. I'm surprised we're so responsible with our powers due to the amount of perverted potential it has.
>>
>>25979424

Fairly sure we shouldn't be in public enough for it to matter on 2.

3. War situation. You really stop giving a crap about perverted potential when you have a chance to get a knive in the throat any day.
>>
>>25979406
But he had a reason. WHY DOES EVERYONE THINK QB DOES THIS FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES?
>>25979424
Finding our body/our old shit is a good idea. If we wanted to be perverted we would have body-swapped with Tomoko already.
>>
>>25979373
It doesn't seem that the Meguca and Witches follow their natural life cycle, so I'm not sure thats even a potential problem.

Our girls don't seem to be sporting Soul Gems, and we kept Candeloro around for quite a while without her trying to do any typical Witch stuff. She was just creepy and evil.
>>
>>25979486

Not that caster silly anon. Medea was mentioning more how we have nothing to worry about insanity of the mandates unless it hits apocalyptic scale. Which it won't because only one witch and yeah cubes is honestly our best ally because he is so predictable.

>>25979486
That would wipe her soul out.
>>
"Berserker, I want you to try and find one of our enemies, the still living Saber or that green Assassin and I want you to begin an assault on them. Attack them, kill them if you can." You tell her. She nods and disappears. As soon as she's gone you turn to Caster. "Witch her." You order. Caster nods and closes his eyes for a brief moment. With that taken care of, you grab a spare miniature familiar and turn to leave, Caster leaping onto your shoulder while Ayase and Yuri disappear. "Monster, keep an eye on things here." You tell the remaining Servant.

-----

As you find yourself navigating the bay in a small stolen boat, Caster peers into the water from the prow of the boat. ~Stop. We're almost above it now.~ He told you. You cut the engine, letting the boat drift slightly. With a quick mental command you order the familiar to jump off the side of the boat and into the water. The metal creation tries to carefully reorient itself as it falls, light diminishing quickly. With but a thought, you send more mana into it and ramp up the production in its generator, causing it to glow slightly, just enough to see. A moment later, it finally clinks to the bottom.

"I'm down." You tell Caster.

~I am accessing our link.~ He replies, and you feel your connection to him suddenly reverse slightly and the familiar now feels slightly crowded. Carefully, you can feel him direct the familiar to look around and begin feeling through the mud and seaweed on the ocean floor. It takes several hours of careful grid searching, but eventually you hit something. Some kind of stone slab with writing of some sort on it.

[1/2]
>>
[2/2]

"This it?" You ask.

~It is related. The words seem familiar to me, but look more akin to a language not seen in thousands of years. But it seems this is, indeed, the primary controls for the Grail. To actually do anything more, however, we need to have direct access to it. But I can already tell this part of the Grail is merely made for control and distribution, it does not itself grant wishes.~ Caster warned you.

"Let's return back to shore, get some diving equipment or something. Then we'll come back and investigate this." You tell him. Caster nods and you start the motor back up, quickly heading back to shore. With a bit of help from you Servants, you get the boat tied to the dock well enough that you don't think it will float away.

~Yuri, hunt down any place with diving equipment.~ Caster ordered the wasp laden Servant. She nodded, and several of the insects dispersed as she disappeared. Its a couple hours later that she finds you again.

"For you, Masters." She says, dropping two sets of scuba gear down in front of you.

"Thank you." You say, picking one up and inspecting it carefully. With a mumbled spell you work to reshape the metal and glass. The glass is sluggish, but you manage to make it work with some effort. "Caster, do you mind coming here?" You ask. He ambles over and you attempt to fit the new helmet onto him. It takes a couple more spells, but you eventually succeed.

~Hm...Primitive, but useful.~ He remarks.

"And it works." You reply. He nods, and hops into the boat. With that, you load your gear up whilst Yuri disappears again. You quickly head back out, navigating based on where your familiar is clinging to the bottom of the bay. Ayase reappears to watch over the boat when you dive. You give the equipment a quick test and then gesture to Caster to dive. You both hit the water at about the same time, and you shiver slightly at the cold as you dive. With a moment of fumbling you manage to get the waterproof flashlight to turn on.

You and Caster slowly swim down and eventually you catch a glint of light reflecting off of your familiar. You and your Servant settle down on the bottom carefully. Caster himself looks over the strange stone plate.

~This seems to be tapping into several other hidden systems. I can trace it partially to the burnt out school and another goes to the south out of town. The leyline from underneath the library itself is connected to this as well.~ Caster replied.

Check with Cubes, how old is this thing? Can he tell which direction prana flows through the system? Is there any way to determine how many Servants are being provided for through this Grail? Is there any way for us to bug this thing to alert us of any major changes?
>>
"Hack it." You mumble through the face mask. Caster nods and begins to dig into the dirt slightly. There's a several intense moments where the writing begins glowing and you can see channels of strange metal digging into the ground around you and expanding outward from there in several direction.

~This...this is much bigger than we thought. I cannot get much except on the system that apparently summoned me, but this area has several experimental Grail systems. Grand total, we are facing 35 Servants including myself. Left in the same system as me are 3 other servants. The particulars of the others I cannot determine, but at least 10 other Servants have died. As well, some of these Grails are...erratic at best. It seems that Servants are being diverted back to the system that summoned them, and when one system is full it may have the potential to grant a wish alone. We may not have to defeat everyone.~ Caster said, even his emotionless voice betraying a hint of worry. ~With some time and effort I may be able to get further in, but I fear we lack the oxygen need to do such a task here. It is possible that I might be able to access this from another point of contact, but it would be riskier from there.~ Caster remarked.

>>25980580

Yeah we will want to do this later. It will allow us to pour more mana into the generators. Which reminds me speaking of leylines we really should work on a way to keep a servant active after the war.

The place has good leylines since it can hold a war and cubes here has a lot of knowledge that could be useful. He wants to keep the end of the universe from occurring so maybe we could play on the idea that something may just happen and thus he should stay around afterwards. Then use him and his alien method of magic as a way to refine our magic.

Be a end of war goal and not something to think about right now. and also low priority and easy to discard as needed. But the pay off if we pull it off would be most useful after the war. Helps he doesn't have any absurd prana burning servant abillites on the level of Excalibur.

Very late game idea but I thought I would toss the possibility out there for later.
>>25981136

We got caster. Which is really really useful for hacking. So we should do fairly good at avoiding this. Unless we got ourselves a second caster running around or a corrupted oupted grail. Which really makes me wonder how the hell angry manjew mud would react to cubes mind.

Yeah that is a big flaw in most sabers. They are good units but suck with prana conservation normally. So if you take the master out they fade very quickly.

We can't be certain that Hero's dead (Saber neither for that matter). They might be looking for/have already found new Masters.

If we did kill all four, that would seem to mean that we've killed at least one Servant from another Grail locus.

Well. I'm guessing this means there are 5 Grails then, and 22 of the 35 Servants remain.
In our grail there are 4 Servants left, Coobs included. Chances are Assassin is included in our grail, and Monster. Not saying we have to, but if we want to keep Assassin around after the war, we just have to wish on a different grail, preferably a stable one.
>some of these Grails are...erratic at best
Great. Probably only two function as intended, and are worth making a wish on. I'm probably being overly optimistic with that estimate though.

Now, about these erratic grails... Should we go around and make sure no one wishes on them to make sure the wish doesn't fuck things up on a grand scale? Should we kill two more Servants in our system and then plug the grail into Caster so we can go Meguca Army of the King and claim the other grails? Do we shut down the erratic grails, or maybe redirect their power to a functioning grail?
...Considering we have Coobs and Monster was summoned nearby, is ours one of the erratic grails? I would think Coobs would have told us if it was, but... well, it's Coobs.

...Fucking hell, who made a system like this? Who makes 5 grails, 2-3 of which don't function as intended? Who would be stupid enough to not TELL the ones involved that there are 5 grails and cause such a massive clusterfuck---

Lets not. We try to get alliances far to quickly already and info is the name of the game. So hide everything we can.
>>
>>25984148
Or we can trade the information for what Rider knows. There are 20+ Servants we know nothing about, although 6 of said Servants are dead.
>>

Let's not hack it.
>>
>>25984221

Yeah but minimize it. People give off way to much info early on.

>>25984230
We got ourself a caster class. Something like that shouldn't be a issue. Hell if you go by Unlimited codes medea can make a corrupted grail work and grant a wish correctly. Which is why I want to hack but slowly and carefully maybe even asking cubes what he thinks about his odds.
>>
>>25984221
9, sorry, 9 are dead. 13 are dead, we killed 4.
>>
>>25984316

I hope we killed 4 at least. Still worried about the possibility that hero is still active unlikely however.
>>
"Come on. Let's investigate the connection to the Grail." You say, striding deeper into the school. Caster jogs ahead of you and stops in the middle of one of the classrooms, the one that seems to be burned the worst. He paces around the room several times, dusting off several areas as he roams about.

~Direct connection, ties into the leyline. This is a manifestation area. With some work, I think I've managed to isolate the Servants summoned by this Grail.~ Caster explains.

"Excellent. Who?" You ask.

~Servants Hero, Ruler, Villain, Monster, Avenger, Saver, Corrupter. Three have been defeated.~ Caster answered, ~It is difficult to confirm who has been defeated, as in the Grail the Servants have returned to being raw mana.~

"Still, it's something." You tell him.

[]???

Let's see Monster we know. hero is highly likely. That means there is one killed we didn't help with. Just from the containers the worst threats sound to be Ruler and Corrupter.

>Corrupter
Sweet Jesus, let's try to avoid letting that thing return to the Grail.

Thanks for running.

Let's go ahead and meet with Rider tomorrow, discuss an exchange of information. Let's keep our eyes open for Villain as well, same deal.

Ask Cubes what he thinks his odds of success would be to reroute deaths from one Grail to another. Could he set it so that all of this Grail's souls go to the underwater one? Can he track the flow of prana out of this Grail to the Servants it's supporting?

This Grail only summoned aberrant classes. Maybe each Grail has its own special thing? If so, ours might be non-humans.
>>
>>25984713
>Avenger, Saver
Well, these should cancel out and leave us with a neutral grail instead of a holy or evil grail, unless Corrupter dying fucks it up.

>Monster and (probably) Hero dead
It would be funny if the third one was the same Avenger as the third war and if he was first to die in this war too. No proof at all that happened this time around, but it would be amusing.

Judging by the Servants in it, I wouldn't wish on this grail if it was completed before thoroughly examining it first.

>Ruler
...If it's Joan of Arc, I want to summon Meguca Joan just to fuck with her. That's right, I still haven't given up on the idea of summoning her. It's just very low priority right now.
>>
>>25984713
Oh, and thanks for the thread!
I'll update the Ebook when you finish running tomorrow.
>>
>>25985138

Fairly sure some of the grails are in a closed system though. But it wouldn't hurt to ask no.

>avoid letting that thing return to the Grail.

I don't think this will be a issue. Avenger was a special case where his very existence was a wish. Something like a servant skilled at corrupting things if killed shouldn't be a issue because it will be broken down. So only if it's most basic spirit stuff was a wish would it fuck with the grail.

We should however see what we can hack from here. Also I"m fairly certain the grail mainly helps via grounding by being active. Mana wise it doesn't give all that much support other then like 5 units a day. Due to how saber only gained that much when shirou couldn't send any real mana though.

>>25985190

Considering avenger is literally the weakest servant ever. If it is the same one he is fucked. Also I kind of hope it is Joan because at the very least she can't use her NP without dying.

"Still, let's get home for now. We've had some rough times lately." You tell Caster he nods, hopping up onto your shoulder. Yuri fades out of sight as you head out of the building and back to college. Once there, Assassin meets you outside Tomoko's room.

"Julie." She greets.

"Assassin. How's Tomoko doing?" You ask her.

"She's...a little sick. It's making her new abilities act a little odd, so she'd rather not be seen." Assassin warns you.

"Ah, alright. Let her know that I'm here if she needs me." You say turning and heading to the library. In the basement you find Lancer and Sayaka sitting on your cot together, speaking on hushed tones. Sayaka blushes slightly when she sees you, but you give her a reassuring smile. You spend a few more hours working with some metal, trying to see about making a fully autonomous body for use. but its a little difficult. Manipulating the metal is easy, but until you master modifying a body to be a receptacle you're not certain you can successfully use a golem in such a way. With a sigh, you set your tools down. You need some sleep, but Tomoko might still not want to be seen.

Let's avoid going full evil until we need to. We've got spares right now.

>>25998166
>[X]Talk to Sayaka
I'm growing nervous. She was obviously just talking about us. Ask her about how and why she became a meguca. Then ask her what becoming a witch is like. Is it painful for a meguca? Would she not want to become one? Explain that we've only heard Cubes explanation, and that he's a bit...lacking in empathy.
>[X]Check on Tomoko
Tell her we're here for her and we definitely won't be scared or put-off by whatever's going on.

If we do have to go for bodies, let's do it after talking to Sayaka for a bit. Umar's throwing signs at us that something's up with her. Let's try finding our old body to retrieve anything worthwhile.
>>
>>25998367

We need some extras. Mainly because our fort is now easy to spot and we keep all our bodies there. So if our fort is invaded and we die then we have a spare..in the fort that is being invaded. We need a extra one to hide in the middle of bug fuck no where so we can jump into it.
>>
>>25998367

Just some blushing so far. I would be more worried if she was quiet or seeming to be nervous.
>>
>>25998396
Having spares won't do jack if Sayaka instigates a meguca revolution and kills all of our bodies before we hide it.

If we want to hide one, let's either look into the genesis of a new one based on the remains of our original body or just using one of the two we have currently.
>>
>>25998439

Kind of why I want more then one. That and you're a little paranoid about Sayaka. For one she would need to convince a lot of magical girls to betray for very little reason and so far I don't see much in the way of those thoughts to begin with. Not only that but we could literally just go "Kill all your magical girl servants" with a command seal and boom no mana and they know that. Not saying we shouldn't build up more points but we do that all the time let's get one or two extra bodies and build some generators now. Then we can work on things like that.
>>
>>25998367
Agreed. Lets check in with Sayaka, maybe get to know Kyoko a bit, and make sure Tomoko is alright.
>>
>>25998427
We've repeatedly chosen options to lose Sayaka points, and she hasn't ever confronted her about it. Making sure she's cool (escpecially when we're getting any hint that something's out of the ordinary) is far more important than collecting randomly kidnapping innocent people and sucking their souls out. Shit, when exactly did Nicholas go full evil vampire mode?
>>
>>25998561
>we do that all the time
With Tomoko and Cubes. We've never bothered to do it with the megucas.

It won't take up that much time, we can at least do it before we go out for the evening.
>>
>>25998583
this.
>>
>>25998589
When Coobs gave us the option to become full evil vampire back when we stole Archerko's body.
>>
>>25998589

Eh? We gained quite a few points and have been fairly polite to her. Biggest thing we did to freak her out was the idea of jacking a meduca's body. We have told her we don't want her to just die and the like. That we weren't going to rush in and she has one of her friends in the area now. So I kind of think thinking she is suddenly going to try and backstab us is a little out there. We might as well check but I don't think it is anything big.

Also the average magus is evil vampire level. We are right now as a body snatching monster better then most magi. No seriously look at Rin's dad. Though if you all really want to check on them we can. I just thing we should get the things we might not be able to later first instead of holding off until we need it and have to rush around in circles looking for it.
>>
>>25998589
Well, first we stole Archerko's body. That might have been excusable because she was a Servant and not a human.

Then Coobs and Tomoko stole us a body when we died. Not entirely our fault, but we probably could have predicted it would happen.

But then we decided we needed a backup, so we went out and kidnapped some poor schmuck and sucked out his soul. I'm pretty sure we passed the Evil Vampire threshold when we made the conscious decision to suck out the soul of an innocent human being and inhabit his body.
>>
"Sayaka, is anything bothering you?" You ask her, picking up your tools.

"Ah, no. Not really." Sayaka answers. You quirk one eyebrow in disbelief. "Honest. Just, I was talking with Lancer and I didn't expect you to come in when you did." She assured you.

"I see. So, I have to ask. This Magical Girl and Witch thing, what are your opinions on it?"

"Ah, well...I went through a rough period with it at first. First I loved it, and then I found out about its darker side and began to hate myself for it. After my death and being prevented from becoming a Witch, I spent quite some time sulking. I even got to, uh, meet, I guess, my Witch. She seems nice enough, when not being driven mad by whatever Kyubei's system was. As a Servant, I imagine she would be more easily handled. She just...she takes my worst traits and amplifies, them, really. She would be jealous and easily angered, but I believe she would ultimately be safe." Sayaka explains. After a moment she asks, "Are you going to have me turn into a Witch?"

"No, not if I can help it. But if I had a choice between having you become a Witch or dieing, I would Witch you. I hope you don't mind." You tell her.

"No. No, I think that would be best. Thank you." Sayaka says softly.

"Right, well, I'll leave you and Lancer alone. I'm going to go check in on Tomoko and maybe catch up on some sleep." You tell her.

"Ok. Have a good night." Sayaka said as you left.

----

Assassin again appears to greet you outside of Tomoko's dorm room. "Back so soon?" She asks.

"I just wanted to see Tomoko, let her know that no matter what I won't be scared or put off." You tell Assassin.

"...You're certain about that?" Assassin asked.

"Yes."

"You know, I was summoned without a Catalyst." She points out.

"So you and Tomoko are as alike as Caster and I." You counter.

"I'm Jack the Ripper." Assassin confesses suddenly, studying you carefully.

Got to also remember the environment magi are raised in too. I don't really think Nicolas would think twice about killing random smoes off the street if it would help him win the war or his research. On the other hand like most magi once he gets to know those smoes he pulls a Rin and starts caring about them. He is driven and he now has a chance for full on immortality. Not saying he would go down the road and kill random people or anything but he is not moral by any means execute in a exotic sense. He also doesn't have anything to lose sense he is exiled from the association.

>option
We've had the option to start murdering innocents to power a Witch army since the beginning. We didn't take it. Shit, I'm still interested in exploring the option of restoring the original souls to these bodies, modifying their memories, and setting them loose. Archerko's soul was still present, just detached. The same should be true for these bodies.

>>25998722
>I just thing we should get the things we might not be able to later first instead of holding off until we need it and have to rush around in circles looking for it.
Talking to people doesn't take all night, and, as long as we aren't stupid, we don't really have a pressing need to extra bodies. Sure, they could be helpful, but extra bodies on their own don't really give us much of an advantage.

This is obviously important to her, I don't think humor is the most appropriate reaction.
>>
>>25998845

Because it is stupid to power a witch army. Nearly uncontrollable brings too much heat like caster from war four did to himself. Killing innocents might damage our rep with our girls because they most of the times went magical girl to protect innocents. There is a whole hell of a lot more reasons then just this.

Not going to just say we shouldn't play some morality to him. he does have some but we shouldn't waste advantages or the like. He is a magus and this is a battle to the death and he knows this.

Not saying he is totally amoral or anything. But he is logical and clear which is why he got cubes to began with. Which is why I want to get the outside resource of one-two spare bodies then turtle up and start building in or base while gathering intel and looking at hacking the grail.

"Your point?" You ask her. She gives you a glare and you sigh. "Again, I summoned Caster without a catalyst. He's not exactly a shining beacon of morality. And I've gotten my own hands pretty dirty, sucking out the soul of a young man and what I did to Archer." You tell her.

"...I'm glad Tomoko met you." She says softly.

"I'm glad Tomoko met you. You're good for each other." You tell her. She blushes slightly.

"Anyways, I guess I can let you go see Tomoko." She says, disappearing and unlocking the door from the inside. You enter into a darkened dorm room and you hear Tomoko gasp slightly in surprise.

"Nick." She says softly.

"Tomoko. You don't have to worry." You tell her, fumbling slightly for a light switch.

"No, please. Don't" She says softly, rustling slightly in the darkness. You can pick out something a fair amount larger than here near the bed. You sigh and give up the attempt to find the light switch and move over towards her.

"Hey, no matter what I'm here for you." You assure her as you sit down. You hear something slither near you.

"I know, its just...I'm tired, and I can't keep my own form. The Primal Blood Monster and I added is growing a little...out of control right now." Tomoko said, "It might have been a bit too much too fast."

"Maybe. But you'll get used to it soon. I'm confident you will." You assure her. You feel her lay a hand on your arm and your eyes are finally adjusting to the darkness. Parts of her body have turned cancerous, growing strange limbs and fleshy psuedopods. If it weren't for what you had seen when you had to operate in her body, you might have felt a bit queasy at the sight. "It'll be alright." You assure her, placing one hand on hers.

"Thank you." She says softly. You sit there in comfortable silence with her, Assassin having disappeared at some point, until eventually you fall asleep.

You decide to work on breakfast after worming your way out of Tomoko's grip and letting her instead cling to Assassin. As you finish cooking, Assassin finally wakes up and tries to squirm out of Tomoko's grip.

"Nooo. Don't leave meee." Tomoko pleads plaintively, a fake pout on her face.

"If you let her go, I can give you pancakes." You tell her. She immediately snaps up in bed, pulling Assassin up with her.

"Come on, Assassin, breakfast!" Tomoko declares proudly.

"So, I figure we can work on your abilities some today." You tell her as you set a few plates on the small table.

"Kay. Monster has had me trying to change into people that were in my City. It's been helping, but with all the new mass I have, its hard to remain small like I used to be. Part of me just kind of wants to expand and expand until I stop feeling this pressure. But that would mean filling up about half of this room." Tomoko replied.

"Hm...have you tried inhuman forms? Akin to last night, but more controlled?" You ask her.

"Not really...I can try, though." Tomoko says.

"That will be our first attempt for the day, then." You say.

----

You watch carefully as Tomoko breathes in and out slowly as she concentrates on shifting her form. Green chitin spreads across her hands and then large wings begin to sprout from her back. And then there's a spurt of blood as she swells, the chitin that has formed cracking open as flesh spills out of it, parts of her body growing out of proportion. She grunts in pain, and there's a hiss and cracks as her body realigns itself and reshapes at its new size.

"So, this happens every time you shift?" You ask her. Tomoko nods as her chitin finishes fixing itself and she stands to her new height. She stumbles slightly.

"Or if I'm trying to compress myself too small for too long." She complains.

[1/2]
>>
"Alright. Hold still for a minute." You say. You take some time and lay out a quick circle of metal with magic. You mumble some words softly, testing Tomoko's circuits and magics. Something is different from what you expected. One, her circuits are expansive, almost unnaturally so. And she now has two Origins. "Your magic has changed." You tell her.

"What?" She asks, slightly confused.

"You have another Origin. Before, you were Blood and you had the element Shadow. Now, you've got a new Origin, probably from the Primordial Blood Monster grafted to you. Its also apparently expanded your magical circuits, although how I'm not certain." You explain. Tomoko frowns, looking down at one hand uncertainly. "I think you're body is just having issues adjusting to your new Origin. With some time and practice it will be easier. Just spend time exercising your abilities, and it will come to you eventually." You assure her.

"But...I thought Origins were something that couldn't be changed..." Tomoko mutters.

"Normally, yes, but traumatic events can reshape them as can certain ancient techniques. It's sometimes used to induct someone into a magus family, to ensure compatibility." You explain. She nods in understanding, sitting slightly on the edge of the new empty pool. With that taken care of, you have a few hours before you meet with Rider.

"So...what's with all the Servants in this war? I thought there were only supposed to be seven." She asked.

"It's some weird grail system that summoned thirty-five Servants apparently." You answer. Tomoko lets out an impressed whistle as her wings twitch and rub together slightly, making a squeak, surprising her slightly. You give her a wry grin as she blushes.

The area where John and Marianne had been staying is currently off limits by order of the police who are currently investigating the dead bodies that had been left behind. You manage to get some info out of some locals, and apparently the police are worried about some kind of psychopathic cannibal. You spend some time trying to find a way in, and finally manage to sneak a small familiar in. Sadly, the place seems fairly well picked over by the police for evidence, and you can't find anything useful left.

With a sigh, you get your familiar back and start heading out to meet Rider. Hopefully, it will be good news on the alliance front.

Are the original souls left in the bodies we steal? The experience with Archer's reality marble seems to imply yes.

How did we know our old contact at the junk yard? Is he a magus? Is our connection strong enough that we could try to contact him posing as an intermediary for our self?

How did we find out about this Grail War in the first place? The first thread has us fleeing the Einzbern's over (allegedly) stealing their Grail system. Is this true? If so, what did we do with this knowledge? Did someone tell us that their was going to be a Grail War here in Tacoma?

Thanks for running.

Archer was a special case, carefully prepared by Kyubei to take advantage of the RM. He hollowed out and lobotomized most of her soul, and left as much as he could. Most of the time, the soul is pretty well shredded.

You knew your old contact because you visited the junkyard alot, for materials for magic and your car. You could probably ingratiate yourself with him again pretty quickly, knowing his habits and rules about the junkyard.

The information you stole from the Einzburns was there info on someone else trying to mimic their system and where and on the existence of the Grail in the first place.

These guys were considered the rednecks of the Association, and no one really kept track of the Owner. No on is even certain if there is an Owner any more. Church presence is almost non existent, if they're even here at all.

We already have a wish, to merge the mundane and magical. The way it was phrased to John, we almost sounded like Waver.
>>

Okay, so we just knew that someone stole the Einzbern grail and that they were setting it up here, and that's why we randomly set up shop here and weren't surprised by the command seals? Does this mean that the Einzbern's probably know about this whole situation? Do we know anything about the people who stole the Grail system?
>>
>>26002083

Yeah I mean more if we can hack a wish in early using one of the grails. Get a few trillion units of mana which then lets us go full cubes magical girl army. Which then lets us dominate enough servants to get another wish...and also in the future lets us experiment with near infinite prana.
>>
>>26002178

Hell assuming we can do this we could have Tomoko break the contract with assassin, Then get one with her. Since the mana would be literally limitless we could keep her around forever.

Course this assumes the grail can grant wishes early. Fairly safe bet though with caster.

If we could sneak in an early wish, I think we'd be better off using it to handle Cubes and our wishes, then get out of town.

You knew that the Einzburns knew someone was trying to copy them, but as far as you know no one had gotten their hands on any of the Einzburn materials. However, it is why you set up shop expected the command seals and prepared for the summoning.

Main issue there is we don't know what anyone else is wishing for. We could get a total bastard who wishes for something like "All of humanity mindless and under my control." Or worse. So we kind of have reason to want to wipe everyone out. The extra wishes would just be a side bonus.
>>
>>26002288
Okay, so we know that the Einzbern's know that someone was trying to copy them, and the Einzbern's know that we know. And both of us know that it was supposed to happen here?

Jesus, I can't imagine that Acht would let a chance like this slip by.
>>
>>26002288

Interesting. The guy who copied that system must have been godly then. Because of the pure complexity of five grails working.
>>
>>26002311
We could try to destroy this Grail system when we leave. Or tip the Church off on our way out.
>>
>>26002358
>five grails working.
>working.
Uh, at least two of them are doing some freaky shit.
>>
>>26002361

Chruch vs servants. The church would get slaughtered unless they brought out their top agents and even then most servants can hang with the DAA so they would still get slaughtered.

Destroying the system though is possible. Seems a waste though compared to summoning like 20 magical girls and zerg rushing the place just to be certain preferably 140 miles away. Then leaving the war with god mode on. Both sides kind of have there own flaws and advantages.

>>26002448

Mean more getting them to do anything at all. Even a half assed grail is amazing in the modern world. Making at least 2 half assed ones and maybe 1-2 that works good enough? Amazing.

Alright, Thanks for the Thread!

Not to mention whoever made it also created a larger variety of containers than the usual 7 and Avenger, Ruler, and Saver.
Either that, or instead of making new containers they left making them to the grail instead of forcing the Servants to conform to the usual ones.

35 Servants were summoned, with 5 grails. Shit grails aside, actually accomplishing this is arguably a better feat than Moon Cell with 128 Servants and only one grail.
That said, there's still 2-3 amazingly crafted and complicated shit-tier grails.

>a better feat than Moon Cell with 128 Servants and only one grail.

No. Mooncell access is less grail that grants you and your servant a wish and more "You become the closest thing to God by being able to decide anything you want." You could make yourself immortal then stop heat death then make humanity worship you and take over the galaxy with that thing and nigh instantly at that.

It is better in that it is a feat of magic instead of insane tech though.
