You ask aloud.

Strictly speaking you plundered it. Don't worry, it was no one important, now were we not off somewhere? Hm? To go see the wizard or something? You nod before leaping over the river and finding yourself in a small wooded area overlooking a pair of nofunigami. One has a white coat and the other a little wooden arm band. They glance around the area as a sliding screen door behind them closes and then they look at a small digital device.

"He's close." A rough male voice calls out.

"Is that so? Well, I wonder what we should do?" A sing song male voice calls out in response. In an instant they use something similar to sonido to move away, but you can easily follow them.

You eventually track them to a small road near Ryouichi's place and you see them head off Hayato. He makes no attempt to run away as the two nofunigami approach. The one in the Armband seems pissed while the one in the jacket seems to have a lazy look about him. "Yo, Hayato! how are you! You looking well!" The sing song captain calls out and you move in for a closer look.

The captain is tall with messy mid length white hair and an easy expression on his face. His sword hangs from his waist loosely and it seems a bit longer than a standard katana. The other nofunigami, an older looking man mostly bald with a great amount of stubble and muscle has a pissed off look on his face, though it suites him. "Bastard! What the hell were you thinking?! You know what sort of shit you raised back home? Bastarrrrrd!" He shouts grabbing Hayato by the front of his T-shirt.

"Hey there lieutenant Katsu, relax a bit. I'm sure you got your reasons, but no need to be so angry, yeah?" The man in the white robe instructs with a care free wave of his hand.

"Ah, of course Captain Nekota! Forgive me for raising my voice!" He shouts as he lets go of Hayato and gives a stiff bow to the captain.

"Don't be so tense. You're older than me and we have worked together so much I think of you more of a friend than a subordinate. Now, Hayato. I'm sure you know why we are here." The captain scratches his head.

"Ah, to kill the human and return me to soul society for violating the Soul king's laws." He mutters and the captain lets out a sigh.

"Yeah, you should have known it would happen this way if you give your powers to a human. I'm sure you have your reasons, but for an adopted son of the Byakuya family to cause this sort of mess." The captain sighs before looking around. "Oh? Where's Ran?"

"She was, she isn't..." He starts and the captain sighs.

"I get it, I get it. Well, the orders were just for you, so I won't say anymore. Katsu, apprehend the human. Try to make it fast?" He asks.

"Apprehend who now?" You hear Ryouichi call out and from across the street you see him. Clad in black and woth dark violet hair he is holding his large falcion slung over his shoulder.

So, with our newfound knowledge of a kick-knee-elbow focused martial art, I've come up with an idea to enhance our body via shapeshifting to play to our strengths.

We've got amazing shapeshifting and strong electric powers. And we can channel electricity through our own body without harming ourselves, right? So, in theory, we can create electric motors within our own body by turning parts of ourselves into coiled steel and sending a current through it.

What I vote we do is improve our 'natural weapons' in our released form (by which I mean our armored arm and leg claws) by adding railgun-powered pile bunkers to the arms and electrified buzzsaws to the knees and heels via shapeshifting. And possibly have the pile bunker's stake capable of both conducting electricity and of erupting into a mass of barbs with the twitch of a muscle, so if we manage to nail someone with it we can keep it stuck in them while we electrocute them.

So in total we add
>Railgun pile bunker on each arm, capable of firing in both directions so both punches and elbow strikes can be enhanced
>Electrified buzzsaw knees and spurs on each leg, enhancing knee strikes and kicks
So we're basically taking the arm and foot parts from DMC4's Gilgamesh (on the left in the picture) and the knees from Garmraid (on the right)

"Brain, the name?" You ask and feel a small trickle of blood come from your nose as your brain hurts itself in confusion.

You shake it off and decide to just watch how it goes for now. "Hayato! You alright?" Ryouichi asks but Hayato just frowns at him.

"Idiot! I told you to go take care of some hollows across town! Get out of here!" Hayato shouts but Ryouichi just gives an arrogant smile.

"Come on, we're buddies ain't we? I'll kick their asses then we can go for snow cones or something." Ryouchi gives a smile before walking over and then stopping a few feet in front of Katsu.

"Seriously?! Are you stupid, you are stupid! You came up to me and decided to fight you-!" Katsu starts but Ryouichi slashes horizontally at him making Katsu step back to save his head.

"Turn it down! People are trying to sleep, asshole!" Ryouichi shouts just as loudly as you pull out some Swedish fish and start munching down. God bless you inventory.

"You bastard! You want to fight, alright then, let's go!" He shouts before slashing down with his large falchion.

Their fight is, to be honest, pretty bad to watch. The Katsu dude has him outclassed in swordsmanship, but Ryouichi has some power behind his moves. They clash in the street, the LT jumping around like some sort of pinball while Ryouichi's moves just get sharper and sharper as he goes along. You notice the Captain is watching the fight while scratching his chin as well.

"Hm? Weird way of fighting. He looks like he is missing some important parts too but, well I'm nice so I would give him a passing grade." Nekota smiles.

A nasty slash cuts into Ryouichi's side, but he grabs onto the blade with his hand and smiles. "Got you, jumping bastard." He sneers through blood flecked teeth and swings down.

"Flash-" The LT commands. Na naaaa, saviour of the universe- "Inazuma!" He commands and a bright flash of light coats his sword.

Suddenly katsu is already a few feet away with a large slash going vertically down his chest. He frowns as he widens his stance and uses his thump to slightly draw his sword before placing his other hand on the hilt "Oi, bastard. What's your name?" Katsu asks.

"Ryouichi Saito." He states readying his sword.

"Hm, I see." Katsu sighs before a quick flash of light and Ryouichi is going down, blood trailing from a cut on his chest.

He instinctually used his sword as a shield to guard his vital organs, but a look on his face shows his confusion and Katsu draws again. Another flash of light and you Sonido over, but you are too late as the blade goes into his torso removing his heart. You are about to kill-

"I told you sah, I ain't see no bears." The youth protests, but I can see it in his eyes. The same eyes she had shown me when she walked into my agency. A widow with legs which could kill and an ass which just didn't quit. But the eyes. They say if you stare at a bear long enough, the bear gets inside your mind. This boy had bear in him, I knew I was on the right track.

You are back in the woods eating Swedish fish. Light, flash, slash, fall. Only this time Ryouichi seems to have avoided an immediately fatal blow. Fucking bastard made the bears one step closer god damn it.

"Katsu, that's enough." Nekota says before walking over to the fallen body of Ryouichi.

"Captain?" Katsu asks, but Nekota just draws his sword and stabs him in two places which feel weird when they strike, then he puts his sword away.

"There, now he can't use spirit powers for the rest of his life. That way everyone lives." He nods.

"You're too soft captain." Katsu sighs before relaxing.

"Well, I don't like death too much." He explains before grabbing Hayato. "Come on Kuchiki, let's go back. The commander's going to yell at me enough as is." Nekota explains.

"Yeah. Hey, Ryouichi. Sorry. Look after Ran for me, would you? Don't tell her what happened. Say I fell to a hollow or something." He asks and you see Ryouichi try to get up.

Katsu stabs his sword into mid air and you see screen doors open slowly in the street.

Hey, you should try to go through it!

You agree and when they have already started to leave you walk over cloaked and try to touch it. A massive force repels you, and you feel that there is some will behind it, an infinitely hungry will.

The screens close.

You walk over to Ryouichi and see he is bleeding pretty heavily. You are about to panic when you hear a female voice call out. "Wow, that was scary. Sending Nekota of all people, scary scary." She sighs and you turn to look.

Standing there in the darkness of the night is a woman in a black dress and with long black air. Her eyes are a radiant crimson and she seems to have a few piercings along her ears. "Yo, Schrödinger, you are here right? A mutual friend sent me!" She calls out looking around.

You follow the woman several blocks, the streets desolate as you make your way to a trendy upscale neighborhood. You enter a massive apartment complex and take the elevator up to the top floor, thankful you didn't have to see anyone at this hour, as explaining why you were carrying an unconscious man covered in raccoon wounds would be pretty hard to do. She opens the only door on the floor and walks in and you follow her. The room is massive with glass walls and a swimming pool. There is a piano in the corner, and one of those swanky kitchenettes on the corner. The furniture is all well maintained leather and silk and seems very expensive. She indicates for you to put him down on the floor then walks over and starts covering the soul and body in bandages and medicine. You scratch your long hair before sitting down in what could easily be the most comfortable chair ever. "So, I take it you are someone biblical?" You ask and she nods.

"Lilith, if you haven't figured it out yet. I'm the one who made your body. Glad to see you like it." She explains as she continues bandaging Ryouichi, then puts his soul back in his body.

"Scary snake lady? That isn't very nice." She seems a little put off as she continues fixing Ryouichi. "I smell like shinigami because I was one, sort of. I went deep undercover with some of Lucifer's other followers into soul society. I needed their information and equipment to do research on the Soul King, how to break into the society, how to force open the gate to the soul palace, those sorts of things." She explains as she starts cleaning up.

"Why are you out then? Cover get blown? You were framed for something? Soul king scared you?" You ask. Cop out bullshi-

"No, nothing like that I just... some old habits die hard is all." She explains, and for the briefest of moments you see her lick her lips as her teeth sharpen slightly, and a sickeningly sweet energy pools out of her, like flowers blooming in rotten babies blood. Probably best to drop it for now.

"So where do we go from here?" You ask and she shakes her head, clearing her thoughts from her momentary lapse.

"Hm? Now we turn Ryouichi's powers back on." She explains.

"Wait, what? His power back on? I don't get it." You frown and she hums a little tune to herself in thought. After a few moments of silence, during which she washes her hands and is exceptionally careful of her nails, she sits down across from you.

"His power is like clay. We can leave imprints on it, and it will hold onto the memory of the power itself, then use his own spirit energy to fill in the mold. When he got shinigami powers his power temporarily turned off while it used... Hayato's? Power to fill in the mold. That power got wiped out of his system, allowing his power to reassert itself. Sadly we don't have a few years for him to get used to his powers like he did for the power you imprinted on him, so we will have to force it a little." She explains.

"If you will excuse me, I have to go get some paid vacation." You explain before opening the walkway to her pool and sonidoing into the night. You walk on the sky and fly through the city before eventually you make your way to the school. A paragon of virtue and excellence in education! You incapacitate the night watchman and place him outside before grabbing some tape and walk the halls. You use easily burnable tape to close off the openings in most of the classrooms, leaving a contained and controlled hallway path through the building. You place tape on the outsides of the chemistry rooms and then turn on all the gas valves. You then place evidence of drugs in random locations the fire repair crews will likely find them because god damn it, you have way too many of them.

Part of the building fills with enough gas and you use your lightning field to sent a spark into the building. It doesn't light. "Oh come on, you miserable git." You grumble before doing it again,. "Bloody wanker of a school, can't even detonate fucking right proper then, can you? I wish sin-fin was here to play a song." You grumble. As the night watchman wakes up the building finally catches.

A large fireball explodes outwards and fragments of glass scatter through the night, propelled by a shock wave of heat and flames . It's actually sort of cool. You like the aesthetics of the fireball and-

"Oh god! What happened!" The nightwatchman shouts before running for a phone to call the fire department. Part of the school was damaged, enough for at least a month of you suspect. That should be more than enough time. Probably. Maybe? You are not a bloody architect.

You wait for the firetrucks to arrive and just sort of watch the fire, making fire based puns as they fight to contain the blaze, then note that the sun is starting to rise. Likely the students will be called on their hotline thing that means they will not show up today.

Deciding that repairing the school, plus a full sweep of the building for more illicit materials will give you more than enough time you make your way back to the scary snake lady to check up on Ryouichi. He is still knocked out.

"Something else you need?" She asks as she reclines in a chair reading a book.

"Any idea how to train the scrubs better?" You ask.

"I am sure they will eventually get better. Thrust them into mortal danger and they will manage to improve. Or leave them on their own and they will improve." She explains.

You get the feeling you heard this already before and make your way to find Ran. You eventually find her scouring the city shouting for Hayato. You intercept her and she looks surprised. "Oh, you're that chick. The one- Hey, have you seen Hayato?" She asks looking around, her power evidently returning to her.

"I think you should come with me to the shrine. Hayato is gone, for now, and there is a whole story behind it. He is safe, but he is sort of gone for a little while." You explain and she looks at you strangely.

"He's alright? You're sure? Okay, what happened?" She asks.

"I'll tell you when I have gathered everyone at the shrine. It's like our HQ which-" Oi, chick. Like. We can use her to teach Ryouichi the ways of the shinigami. Think on it. "-we use for training too. Just wait." You instruct her.

She finally agrees and makes her way tot he shrine while you go looking for your scrubs. Ryoko/Kyoko/Frank is still sleeping. Her room doesn't scream teenaged girl, with an ashtray over the TV and music posters lining the wall. Her clothes are strewn about the room and she is sleeping on a mattress on the floor. It takes a few kicks but she finally wakes up. "Huh? Sensei? What are you doing here?" She asks before looking at her clock and rubbing her eyes. "Why are you here this early?" She asks before curing back under her blanket.

She is up in an instant and swiping at her skin. It takes a second or two but she finally notices there are no spiders and levels a glare at you.

"Why?" She asks scratching her messy blonde hair and you shrug.

"I didn't think you would care about Ryouichi to be honest. Meet up at the shrine!" You order her and she gives you a sleepy nod.

You find the twincies by their home, practicing their reshi absorbing thing. "Oi, twincies. Emergency meeting at the shrine. Some serious shit went down!" You order as you make your way towards Akira's spirit signature, afraid of staying too close to their twin like creepiness for too long.

You find Akira already by the shrine, stretching and wearing jogging clothes. Evidently he has taken to running in the mornings, good for him. He looks up as you approach. "Oh, sensei!" He smiles as you walk up to him.

"Ryouichi nearly died. We are having an emergency meeting. Up the stairs." You command and he seems concerned for a few moments before easily climbing the massive staircase.

You pant and cough as you make your way up the large torture device, Akira already relaxing at the top of the stairs a fair distance from Ran who seems to be pacing. You breathe heavily as you check your pulse after the stairs. The twincies make they way up shortly after you.

"Uh, Doctor? You alright?" Friedhelm asks and you wave him away.

"There are not that many steps." Kouta points out and you shoo him too.

So are we going to be putting these students up against captain level shinigamis? Because realistically the only one who even has a chance is Ryoko, and that's just barely. "Ran, how much time do we have?" You ask and she looks down in thought. After a few moments she seems to nod to herself then look back up. "Well, they need to get the trial going, and they need to process him, analyze what damage he did. Then a general gathering of captains and a repentance period, so... a month maybe?" She offers.

You nod and give out instructions. "Train like mad. Ran, I'd like for you to take over Ryouichi's training. Twincies, be quincies, Ryoko and Akira... er, maybe go take care of some hollows." You explain. "I need to go see someone about getting something so we can all go to SS." You nod before running off.

You leap over the stairs, because fuck them, and make your way to the large apartment building you know Lilith to be waiting in. You find her relaxed in her living room still, reading a book and sipping a wine. You frown as you glance at a watch and look at her. "It's, like, 7 in the morning." You explain and she shrugs.

"What more do you need? If I knew you were going to be this clingy I would have left you to rot on your own." She sighs, evidently despising being disturbed.

"Well, how are we going to get into Soul Society? Do you have a way?" You ask and she nods.

"As I said, I did research in Soul Society about that very thing. I have a method of making a gate which will convert matter into spirit matter and send you there. You can not go in one of the gigais however, and the shinigami should go there in their shinigami forms." She explains.

"How long does it take to set up?" You ask and she shrugs.

"An hour or so. It is not particularly difficult for me." She informs you.

"So I can leave at any time?" You ask.

"Pretty much." She explains before going back to her book.

You make your way back to the shrine and find the group has split up underground in the training area. You slide down the fireman's pole and get a look at what they are doing. Ryoko seems to be getting stronger, fractions of her berserker power filtering into her body without losing her mind, and Akira seems to be getting more skillful as well. You don't think he has any control when his eye opens. Ryouichi is outside his body and is running away from Ran as she tries to sword him and the twincies are using some sort of high speed movement to play tag with each other.

Letting them free in the forest of menos might be funny, but would probably end poorly, as some times adjuchas show up, and the menos sometimes attack as one while they be tall. You are upset you have no direction and think about- Okay, chick? We have hollow bait. Seriously, like, inventory, we still got hollow bait? Inventory says yes.

"Oh, I guess I do." You nod. And the walls would keep the bait from scattering into town and keep them in here.

hollow powers typically involve manipulating internal energies as physical things, such as anywhere from attacks to speed to all kinds of crap, even the ability of that one arrencar that could see the future was essentially using energy to speed up his thinking and reaction time

finally quincies are also entirely dealt with manipulating energies for physical whatnot but its using outside energy vs inside energy of a hollow.
