You bound along the streets, your unnatural speed slowed by Ryouichi. After as few minutes you find yourself standing outside a massive ring of hollows, each circling the shinigami. You nod to Ryouichi before slipping in between the hollows defenses, actually a preplanned hole, and find yourselves standing in front of the shinigami. Hayato is bandaging a wound on his hand and wrapping the cloth around the hilt of his sword to keep it in place while Ran is panting heavily, her own go juice heavily depleted. Ran turns to you and goes wide eyed. "Idiots! What are you doing here?! The hollows want the mass of souls at this hospital, and have gathered together to overwhelm us. Run! You need to get somewhere safe!" She points out but you give a smile you haven't given since you were alive. The smile which charms men and seduces women. A smile which shows what you think of the system(Fuck it, to be exact).

"We are friends, aren't we? We ate ice cream, talked, and laughed together. Like we could leave you alone here while you are overwhelmed by hollows. Come, if we stand together, we die together!" You shout as the hollows attack again.

You give a show of attacking the hollows, and honestly it is a bit overdone, but they seem to fall for it. Your foot connects with one of the hollows and your gravity allows you to avoid another, but you make it seem like it is too much. A horned beetle hollow gets past your defense and slashes your back open, just as planned. You fall forward, your shirt fluttering slightly as you fall and you hear Ryouichi cry out. "Sensei!"

The smell of death and rot surrounds you as you lay there, the hollows already avoiding you as planned and they begin assaulting the group. Ryouichi hides his power and he just punches the hollows while Ran exhausts her already almost depleted go juice to fire Kidos off while Hayato holds the line with his blade. The cloying scent of madness fills your nose and your revel in it, but then remember your mission. Ran must fall, Hayato must give his power to ryouichi, so say we all.

You slide your hand down and fire a bala at Ran's head. Hayato screams as Ran falls, a small trickle of blood falling from her head as her eyes droop lazily down and he glares at you. You panic for a moment, but a hollow gets in front of you and he decides it was him before he slices the beast in half. He takes a kick to the stomach before falling against Ryouichi. You exert a bit of your will and the hollows slow their charge and just circle him.

"Sh-Shit. Ran. Ran! Talk to me. Please, I can't live without you." He calls out and she mumbles something in response.

"Hey, she okay?" Ryouichi calls out before swearing and grabbing the back of her loose black robes.

He pulls her close to him and bears his teeth at the hollows as he holds both Hayato and Ran close to him, planning on shielding them with his body if need be. As the hollows slowly get closer Hayato coughs. "You, you're a good guy, aren't you?" He asks.

"Don't talk stupid! Fuck, if I had enough power I could take them." Ryouichi grumbles.

"Oi, you sure about that? You seem pretty unreliable." Hayato laughs.

"Ha, real men only get serious when they need to you know. Just wait, I'll finish this off and save everyone." Ryouichi states making Hayato laugh.

"What do I have to do?" He asks.

"My sword... stab it into your chest. I will transfer my power to you, but... I have to warn you the odds are low." Hayato explains but Ryouichi doesn't hesitate.

"Fine, let's do this shit. I've always been lucky. Anyway, what's your name nofunigami?' Ryouichi asks, using your phrase unbidden.

"Byakuya Hayato. Though I was originally a Shiba." He explains before nodding. "You?"

"Saito Ryouichi. Fuck it, let's do this!" He shouts before slamming the sword into his chest...

And after a flash of light there stand Ryouichi next to his own body garbed in black shinigami robes and with a massive falchion larger than he is. He instantly lunges forward and slashes the first hollow in front of him before delivering a spin kick to the hollow next to it. A large walrus hollows charges him but he throws his sword up and catches the beast before throwing it up in the air and slicing it to fine pieces. A large bat hollow tries to pick him up, however a quick lean back and a slash in the air ends his attempt. You smile to yourself before you send a wave of command energy to the hollows and order them back. They seem hesitant, but another monstrous slash from Ryouichi inclines them to obey. They fade out of the world as Ryouichi pants heavily and stabs his word into the ground. Hayato seems to be worried over Ran and keeps shaking her.

You need to find Ryouichi, because plot. "What?" You ask aloud.

You run into the city to find the horrid little shit and exty4end your senses. After a few minutes of searching you find him by the river side. You rush off, intent to find why he skipped your super awesome lecture on time and space. You jump over the streets, your aura on unnoticed ensuring you make good time and you eventually find him. Your boot covered feet crunch softly on the small rocks as you stare at him. He is slashing at a large rabbit hollow with sharp little teeth that bite you. He runs under it and stabs up, sending the spirit away to 'Soul Society'. He pants heavily and you see Hayato approach clapping.

"Nice work. Just like that keep on pressing the advantage. You have good reach so-" He starts.

"Oi! I need to get to school! I missed my classes you know!" He shouts making Hayato cover his ears.

"No excuses! I expect to see him in class first thing tomorrow or else!" You shout before hitting the both of them with the meter stick and leaving.

"Y-Your teacher is scary." Hayato explains.

You make your way back to the classroom where you find Sin-Fin instructing on spirit particles.

Ryouichi is no longer useless! He got jacked up on shinigami go juice, so now he is sort of a shinigami? I'm not too sure honestly, it's a whole thing." You say.

So you go through and explain the whole situation to them, sparing nothing save you faking everything. That would be counter productive. By the end of it the Twincies are looking at him strangely.

"You are a shinigami?" Friedhelm asks but Ryuoichi shakes his head.

"Not a real one. Just able to use their power. Relax, I'm still me." He explains.

Hayato is still standing over Ran's bed with reality starts to scream, but in a different way than normal.

You sniff the air and feel a mass of spiritual pressure as abominations walk the earth.

That's why I did the thought exercises with him, but the lingering realization that I thought exercised/stressed myself into a mental schism to allow the hallucination of a historical figure to haunt me...it continued until a friend tried to console me with the notion that I just had a grown up imaginary friend. I felt where it ended last time, didn't need any more clarification. The players could easily fill in the blanks. Sin Fin is alive, we know she got the daggers, so it isn't hard to conclude she had to kill them all.

I stand within the green forest, part of the grass in around me dyed brown due to the mixing of the crimson life rain coloring it as I look towards Shiba. She takes a step back as I walk forward. She glances back at the children, but I have no interest in them. I lean over and pick up the small silvery dagger and add it to my inventory behind my back. I glance over to the weaker shinigami Shiba tries to hide and hold out my hand. "The dagger. Give it to me." I command, my voice holding that darkly sick commanding force it held when I was Queen.

"N-No." Sakura shakes her head and I narrow my black eyes slightly.

"I do not wish to kill you, but I will. You think defiance will change something, it will not. I will leave here with the last of the shards, this is a fact that your struggling will not change anything. Please, give me the dagger." I ask, beg as much as one as broken as I can, and she shakes her head.

"You heard her mopey. Guess you have to kill us." Shiba explains, her words strong but her legs shaking.

I am sorry. I am so sorry. At least I didn't have to remember. I didn't have to make it come back. "I see." I say before forming a cero in front of me.

I let the energy charge to the maximum, no need to make them suffer. "Captain! Please!" Sakura screams, hoping. Hope, a pointless idea.

"Ban....kai." I hear someone cough behind me, blood filling the lungs of who ever demanded it, then I feel a massive spirit pressure awaken. I turn back to face the origin of the force and see the captain's broken body start to stand, his shuriken breaking down into a punching dagger and several black threads of pure shadow knitting his blasted and slashed flesh. I was in awe of his being, the shadows around him coming to life and filling his body, forcing broken bones back into place and holding together blood vessels already ripped to shreds. I frown confused. "how?" I ask and he lightly chops his neck, as if trying to loosen the muscles in it.

He raises an eyebrow to me then shrugs. "Kage-shin Narazumono, Seventh skill, Dark infusion. Wow, that was scary little miss, haven't had to use that skill in years. Not since my heart was pierced. Well, it feels like it happened again but... Yo! Shiba, your ass okay?" He asks glancing over at the shivering LT.

"Y-You're late stupid!" She smiles before falling over, her knees shaking.

"Sorry, sorry, but that one was close you know. I got closer than ever to the sanzu river that time. But how could a captain lay around while his cute subordinates are crying, right?" He offers a wink to Sakura and Shu-chan. "Still, never seen a skill like that before, guess I lucked out being in the forest." He smiles before pointing his dagger at the trees and the shadows crawl over to him, coating his tiny punching dagger in darkness until it is about the size of a broadsword. I look around and see the shadows of the trees to not return.

"Stealing is wrong." I state and he looks at me wide eyed.

"Well,. who made me have to steal? Damn, kids these days. I swear, I just don't get what teenaged girls are thinking. Here I am trying to save you and you get all..." He grumbles and I notice how very pale he is, the lack of blood in his body only being supplemented by his shadows and spirit power.

"You are on borrowed time." I state and he nods calmly.

"Mmm? Yeah, I wonder if I will survive this. Last time I used it only my heart was damaged, but you opened up all my old wounds at once. Honestly even if we get the fourth division captain here right now I'm not too happy with my chances but... I promised." He smiles before pointing his sword at me.

"I would have preferred it if you stayed down." I calmly state before turning to face him fully.

Anyone wanna brainstorm the custom cero for Dr.Gangsta with me?

The obvious one would be to make it all sound-wavey and stuff. Another cool option would be for him to shoot it into the ground and make an earthquake that sounds suspiciously like a rap beat.

Also kinda wondering if any of our subordinates will have not maxed out cero. Maybe Zando didn't. He seems pretty lazy about things that aren't being a clingy personification of rape.

Nah he is hollow first, shinigami second... so as he gets stronger I think he will become more hollow like rather than staying with the black robes. He already uses a massive Falchion so it would be interesting if he becomes more like a medieval knight in hollow form. I think he will be a heavy hitter rather than a kido caster.

He lunges forward, swinging down with his massive sword. I cross my arms and catch the blade on the large blades coming out of my elbows. I spin around quickly and leave a trail of ceros in my wake forcing the captain back. He looks at me before falling back and his shadow rises up to meet him. He vanishes in an instant and my eyes slowly track over the green landscape. The children, Shiba, trees, life. I don't see the dead man and in an instant roll to the side on instinct and feel white hot pain lance up my side and then coldness as the blood pools out of me. I leap back and stare at Fuuma who pulls himself out of an inky tar like blackness where my shadow was.

He readies his sword and without any prompting lunges forward and starts hacking away at me. I throw up my ultra dense blades and stop the sword, but after a few strikes small wisps of black start falling off with every hit. They splash out and where they strike my skin they cut. I let out a mewl of pain as I fire a Cero at his location, but he simply fades away and then reforms several meters away. He points his blade flat at me before raising it high and slashing at me. The edge of the large sword launches from his blade and flies towards me. I sonido away, but he uses his flash step to keep me in the line of sight and continues slashing at me. I continue to dodge, but then notice he is slashing into the air. I look around and see the sharp edges of the swords are floating in the shadows, just a shade darker than the surroundings. Fuuma points his open palmed hand towards me and then closes it. "Art four, dark execution!" He shouts and the blades close in.

In an instant my world swims from the pain and I nearly pass out. My body is covered in lacerations as even my Hierro can no longer keep up under the assault. I drop to a knee and breathe heavily and hear Fuuma walk forward. "Ah, you alright. Sorry, but you're not someone I can hold back on. Here, can you stand?" He asks, his gray skin blending in with the blue sky.

"No, I can not." I reply as my energy slowly returns to me.

"Ah, yeah. Hey those daggers, I-" He starts, but time seems to stop as I hear someone walk up beside me and lean in close to my ear.

"You failed again, Quesufre Sin-Fin. Aren't you disgusting. Accepting their sympathy, accepting their help? 'Oh, please save me, oh dear please I hate what I am'. Such a hypocrite, aren't you? You certainly didn't hate what you were when you killed me, did you?" A rough male voice asks, a cloying scent of decay filling my nose.

I feel my heart rate pick up as I close my eyes to try and drown out the voice "I didn't want to. I really didn't. Please, I loved you. I was happy, but you were wrong. We were wrong. I force myself every day to suffer for what I did to you but-" I try but he interrupts me.

"Not enough! You haven't suffered nearly enough! You will suffer until the end of time for what you did! You will beg for mercy from a god who long since died! Suffer! Cry! Weep! And know every pain you suffer, every agony you face you deserve so much more!" He shouts.

"Captain, I think you broke her. Did you have to hit her so hard? She is a girl you know. Ah, what if she can't get married now cuz your sword wound leaves a scar?!" Shiba asks and Fuuma scratches his head.

"Ah, well, in that case I will just have to marry her then, she's quite the cutie you know." Fuuma nods but Shiba balks.

"Ah! Captains a player! He's cheating! Come on Sin-Fin, let's-" Shiba starts, but it's too late.

"I don't deserve to be saved." I repeat, the words sinking into me like a heavy weight on my soul.

"Mmm? What's that?" Shiba asks and I look back up.

"I deserve this." I repeat before lashing out with my fist. It connects with Shiba's jaw and she flies back int a tree, my natural pressure increasing around me.

"Remember." I command myself and from my memories and nightmares, next to me stands a man.

He is about 6 feet tall with golden hair and green eyes. He has deeply tanned skin and is heavily muscled. Little scars covers his hands, showing he is used to working outside. He looks around and then turns to me, and the look of disgust on his face hurts more than any wound any could give. He opens his mouth to speak, his voice rich and deep, one that should be singing, and laughing, and living yet never can again. Because of me. "Here to kill me again, oh darling mine? Here to tear open your husband's mind to see what color his brain is? Here to make me repeat every agony you inflicted on me while you tore off my skin? The fact I am bound to you sickens me." He spits onto the ground.

He coughs up a black liquid similar to blood before stopping himself a few meters away. He glares at me and summons his large blade once again. "Oh, you managed to hurt some one who wanted you to be happy. Good job, really I am impressed you can be this horrible of a person." He says with a laugh.

"I do not deserve to be happy. I deserve to be horrible." I reply, the words providing me some measure of comfort.

"Come on then, same as always. Do it." He holds his arms out wide and I no longer hesitate. I stab my hands into his chest, feeling the sickening crack of ribs, and the heavy thumping of his strong heart in his chest.

As I coil my slender fingers around his throbbing heart I muse over the first time I did this. How painful, how after I touched around his lungs and stomach I could feel the burning heat of life within him. Life I removed. As I look into his eyes, gently fluttering closed as I close my hand around his heart I see his blood flecked lips curl into a sneer. " I despise you." He explains.

"I know." I simply respond, the familiar numbness the pain brings allowing me to finish what I started. I rip out the still beating heart and hold it in my hand. The bloody, massive thing gives a final beat covering the man in a small spray of blood as he falls forward onto the ground. "Captain, she just killed him. Wasn't he her ally?" Shiba asks as she gets up holding her side, likely a broken rib making it difficult for her to breathe.

Fuuma glances at Shiba and then back to the kids. He grumbles something and then walks forward a few paces, the shadows knitting together a broken nose. "What's that about then?" He asks.

"A long time ago there was a man. A special man born with a special heart. Because of his special heart he was hunted by many creatures, beings which defy even the imagination of one like you and I..." I pause as the heart starts to shrink into a crystal. "I promised to love and cherish him more than anyone else in the world. I would protect him from everything and everyone and no matter what I would never let him be sad. That we would be together and happy for it. But I broke that promise." I say while looking at the four of them.

"What happened?" Shiba asks, her curiosity getting the better of her.

"I killed him." I explain as the crystal finishes forming. I crush the gem and feel power surge through my being. My horns fall off and my body becomes cloaked in foggy gray images of specters of the dead and damned, all screaming a high pitched cry of madness. Then as quickly as it started, it stops.

I look down at my body and make sure the false Vasto Lorde transformation is complete. Gone is the cloak an in it's place is a long black dress cut stylishly down the front with the back open. No longer do I have blades on my body, because I have no need of them. With an extension of will a vertical eye about 15 and a half centimeters long, and another longer one opens on my back, going from the base of my neck to just a bit above my tail bone. They begin ripping apart the trees from their spirit particles and feeding it into my body, bolstering my already augmented spirit energy. I glance at Fuuma and he seems in total shock. "A Vasto Lorde? No, you are something different, aren't you? What the hell... what are you?" He asks.

"Suffering." I answer before glancing over at the weak shinigami, my aura of misery augmented by my transformation.

"Shu-chan. I'm sorry. I can't take it any more. I am so sorry, live strong for me, okay?" Sakura asks before attempting to slam the silver dagger into her throat.

However Shu-chan's hand is already there. A spatter of blood goes from his hand onto her face and he grimaces as he holds down onto it, and her hand. "Sakura! Don't lose! No matter what, I'm here for you, alright?" He asks holding onto her tightly.

"Shu-kun." Sakura stares at him, a glimmer of hope in her eye.

"Pointless." I state before sonidoing over to them. I reach out towards them, however Fuuma is once again in my way. He throws blades of darkness at me once more, however my Hierro is now more than augmented enough to handle it, so he instead charges forward and performs a full body tackle, just enough to knock me off guard and he turns to the kids.

"Run you two! I can hold her! Go to soul society and get help! Shiba, help them escape!" He commands, and the LT hesitates for a moment before putting her sword away and grabbing the kid's arms before slowly limping away from the battle.

"Futile." I state and Fuuma gives me a smile.

"Maybe, maybe not, but the only people who give up are the dead!" He shouts before lances of darkness bolt up around him and point towards me.

"We are already dead." I explains and he laughs.

"Ha! Not like that, you know only dead where there is no feeling left in you-" He starts but goes silent as a sickening crunch cuts him off and the shadows start to fade.

He looks down and sees my dress has coiled around him. And has sharp crooked and broken teeth. He coughs up more of that black liquid as he slowly sinks down into the dress and I shake my head.

"I am empty, and you are dead." I explain to the empty air. I turn and feel where the kids and Shiba went and sonido nearby.

They are running through the forest, panting heavily as Shiba tries to ignore her broken rib and Shu holds the silver dagger in his hand in place. "It's alright, the captain's strong you know. Ah, in the future we will have to alert others about arrancars being an actual threat. Not that it's really common but-" Shiba starts but freezes when I walk out from behind a tree in front of here.

"There is no future." I say calmly, absolute certainty in my voice which sends a chill up their spines.

"If you're here then, shit the captain. Come on mopey girl, looks like I have to fulfill my captain's promise huh?" Shiba asks before jumping at me, sword raised high and letting out a mighty yell.

I give a casual backhand that sends her sprawling into a tree which cracks from the force. She lets out a cough and goes white eyed from pain. "Shit. I am ninth seated squad member Narumaki Shu! I stand proudly as-" The boy starts as I walk over.

"Let go!" He shouts and starts pointlessly trying to hit me with his sword, the blade bouncing harmlessly off my skin.

The dagger seems to have grown spikes in his hand, lodging it deeply inside and extending its roots. "Pointless" I sigh before pulling, ripping off his arm and the majority of the left side of his chest. Organs and blood spill forth freely as he lays on the ground gasping.

"Shu-chan! Shu-chan!" Sakura screams trying to put his liver back in him body. Shu gives a weak smile and says

"I said not... to call me... that." Before his life fades into nothing.

I rip the shard free and move to go. "Wait, you monster!" Sakura shouts holding both her and Shu's sword.

"W-wait. She can't be hurt. S-sakura run." Shiba spits out, her body cracked and broken while lying on the floor.

"You took him from me. Give him back. Give him back!" Sakura shouts.

But nothing matters. The eye on my back goes wide and fires a cero which obliterates her and the blades. I try to leave again but Shiba stops be.

"Wait! Damn it, I promised. Captain promised! You hear me? No matter how long it takes, I will save you. God damn it, Wait!" Shiba shouts but I have already left. Promises mean nothing.

You walk towards the gate and will it open. On a whim you glance at the small white flower and find it broken apart, it's petals scattered on the floor.

It doesn't matter. Nothing matters. No one matters.
