Alright, time to shape up my good fellows! We must put the past behind us and... And...

Oh, why did our poor comrade have to perish?

Enough tears however, we have a malicious tale to continue!

Previously we shared words for a dearly departed companion with our family and learned more of what they remember from their old lives.
After, we laid out a decoy trail to throw off the wretched Asher and came upon a small fishing village that took kindly to our run-down out of luck group.
However, during the time the Fisher family said Grace, our dear Morgan had something of a breakdown from hearing praise to God, thus giving her the final push she needed for awakening! Oh joy!
Our Lady Noah was reasonable however, she graciously chose not to slaughter the Fishers so that your family may remain incognito.
Into the night, the "little" ones went out for a hunt, and you took Schwere outside to speak alone.
She claimed that she had recently evolved to Level 2 and apologized for Ivan's death.. The poor dear still feels responsible!

Having your own taste for death, you test out a new power of yours, killing a smith with the poisonous smoke of his own forge.

Whatever will you do next, Faefnir?

We've had our share of murder for the night, head back to the Fisher's house, see if Armbrust, Kama, and the Kids are back. If they are ask how it went.

And then go check on Morgan, make sure she's sleeping alright, if she's cold, anything like that.
>>
>>25800922
Lets check up on our family and make sure everything went ok.

I am pretty sure Morgan is the lust of Noah. I wonder if her power will manifest tonight.
>>
Back within the home of the Fisher's from your... "nightly" stroll, you find that sleep takes you, real sleep that you've not had in some time.

An odd thing after all, being a machine like yourself. Yet nonetheless, you even dream...

Shadows dance in your visions of darkness, Mischievous things that would seek your attention for play.
Wicked black trees creaking about in a faint and desolate wind as stars create spindling patterns as they circle about the sky.
You see the Moon in one horizon, a smiling crescent with bloodstains, the moon in the other, yet its radiance is hollow and empty from what it is in the real world.
And among this setting, two that entities that sit quietly, side by side at a pond's pier, the waters reflecting the spindling lights in the sky, appearing almost as ripples. The two there are amorphous blobs of a faint light with black crosses etched in a circlet around their heads.

The two sing a song, one that rings off as though very distant, you can barely make out the words.

>[] Pinch yourself awake, this shouldn't be happening, you shouldn't be dreaming, demons don't dream, where are my nightmares?
>[] Get closer to the two that sit by the waters.. Perhaps you'll hear the words then?
>[] Can I transform here? I should be able to transform. Let's set this place on fire!
>[] (Other)
>>
>>25800922
It feels like some of the prices were put on the wrong abilities.

Also, it says we've got Blood-Oil Poison at (3/3)? Does that mean it's maxed out? If it is, it shouldn't have that 400 exp cost next to it.

>>25801100
Get closer to those two figures. Noah?
>>
>>25801100
>[] Get closer to the two that sit by the waters.. Perhaps you'll hear the words then?

>[] Get closer to the two that sit by the waters.. Perhaps you'll hear the words then?
Listening is an important skill...
>>
>>25801124

That should be fixed, please let me know if you find any other errors, and yes, Blood oil is maxed out, and I replaced "chemistry" with the options of what can be done with it instead.
>>
>>25801299
Oh, yeah. Other possible errors:
>Agility costs 500. Does the price max out there? 'Cause if it doesn't, it should be at 600.
>Carrier, Subtlety, Devil Saw, Spray don't have any exp prices.
>Smoke Magic's price just says (500 exp to ""), and I assume prestige was supposed to go inside the 2 quotation marks.
>>
>>25801397
Not necessarily on the Agility. It might be cheaper to upgrade because of our focus on it.
>>
>>25801425
Which is why I said "possible" errors.
>>
>>25801100
Get closer.

I have a feeling it will give us hints to the other Noah.
>>
You creep closer to the figures in this world as it grows increasing strange, the stars in the sky spinning faster and faster, creating what almost looks like ripples in the water.

You can hear the voices now, you catch them in the middle of the song that they sing.. still so faint and far off..

"The.. ... .... . cr.....
Th... ... ....her ...dle ....in th. ....le.
One ...... two.
One cr.... di....e... with.. ... mist.
A .... .. ....ing .. ... grave.... .
.....pears. "

It still echoes, so far off, so far away.

The two singing turn to you, The blobs of light that they are hollow out into white shadows, stand up, and fall into the water.
Carefully walking out to the edge of the pond, you watch the ripples as the two blobs become one and then you finally see your own reflection as the ripples in the water stop.

In fact, this whole world stops.

You look up into the sky to see that the stars have stopped their mad spinning, wind no longer blows through the twisted wood and everything begins to crumble into a pit of empty black.

A pit that you just keep falling down into...

Deeper...

And Deeper...

Your eyes snap open.

What... Was that?

You notice that it's morning, and the house is awake again. The sizzle of bacon and eggs from the kitchen, the smell of warm bread rising in the oven and staving off the cold.

The Fisher boys are nowhere to be seen, though Armbrust stands, watching over you.
A worry grips you, and you open your mouth to speak, but Armbrust beats you to it," They have not been harmed. The village is not yet concerned with the disappearances yet as it is still early, though the Lady Morgan suggests that we leave early, after breakfast or perhaps sooner. What is your say on this, Faefnir?"

Your say? You smile at how odd it is, your say.

Well, what is your say?
>>
>[] We will risk the Asher's following, we kill everyone today and leave.
>[] We should stay another day or two, better to know if he's followed.
>[] We leave for Florin now.
>[] After breakfast, what's the harm in that?
>[] (Other)
>>
>>25801648
[X] After breakfast, what's the harm in that?

Leaving before breakfast is suspicious and odd, staying for breakfast and continuing on our way, perfectly normal.

So have a nice family breakfast with the Fisher's and bid them our farewell.
>>
>>25801641
"Get ready our belongings and inform everyone else. We leave immediately after breakfast."
>>
>>25801397

Agility is cheaper due to focus before level 2

Smoke Magic has been fixed

Carrier Subtlety, Devil Saw have been fixed.

Spray, High Pressure, and Pulse are gained as options through Cannon upgrade.
>>
>>25801648
>[] We leave for Florin now.
>>
>>25801698

A question, would you like to ask for or... appropriate... Anything from the fisher's?
>>
>>25801741
Well if there are any carts or wagons along with horses/donkeys/mules that we can appropriate from the village that'd be nice if we can pull it off subtly. I like carts/wagons, they make travel nicer and give us somewhere to put stuff.

For stealing something like that it'd be us leaving and having one or two people sneak back afterwards and take it.
>>
>>25801741
Ask about Florin. Any cheap places to stay? Any one looking for workers or bakers or guards? Anthing interesting happened there recently?
>>
>>25801648
>After breakfast, what's the harm in that?

gona have a quick guess that the two blobs that formed into us are the two souls that currently sustain our dark matter core or some deep meaningless spook mystery dream for flavour
>>
>>25801812
I disagree, they had the cross circlet thing like Noah, there were two of them, and then they formed into one.

I'm guessing it's Jasdevi/Bondomu, the Noah that is made of two people.
>>
>>25801641
Gentlemen. I have an idea as to the identity of the next Noah(s). We are looking for JasDevi. Also, I believe a graveyard might be involved
>>
>>25801812

The dream had meaning, otherwise I simply would've said that you had a dream!
And what a wonder it was to experience it!

>>25801861

>>
>>25801648
Leave after breakfast. We can casually gather informations during the breakfast.
>>
>>25801876
You know, I am a bit surprised that we didn't meet the doctor yet after securing the Noah.
>>
>>25801985
He's probably dealing with important business elsewhere and trusts us to take care of his dear sibling. Besides, Morgan likes being with us.
>>
>>25801861
Also, something about "disappears within the mist."
>>
"We leave after breakfast, nothing wrong with that. Everyone is satisfied, right?"

Armbrust gives a swift nod, much like a guard on duty,"The children and I shared a couple last night and made it worth it. We put our leftovers in the river."

You give Armbrust a gentle, pleased smile," Good, have everyone get there things together so that we can leave right after. "

You take some time to wash up with water drawn from the river, clearer than it rightfully should be, being Downstream from Florin.

Mrs Fisher calls everyone to breakfast...

As you all break bread, you make light conversasion, thanking the fishers dearly, along with Morgan whom keeps smiling sweetly, a kind a sweet smile that you'd make to hide your hatred. At least she's playing along.

Schwere bows her head slightly before her food and to the Fishers, looking up at them with her still, unflinching eyes," I am sorry for us imposing upon your family in such a way. You have been very kind to us. It is a blessing to meet such kind strangers in our time of need." You.. actually hear the inflection of emotion from Schwere's normally stoic voice. Rather, it surprises you.

Seems just as Madeleine matured greatly since her 1.5 days, so has Schwere. You ponder to yourself what the others will be like..

"Do you happen to know of any places to stay in Florin? Or anyone looking for Bakers, guards, any other lines of work?"

Mr. Fisher seems to furrow his brow and think for a moment, however its his eldest son that speaks first," Ah, I know that one of the smiths are looking for an apprentice to take on, if you plan on staying there it may be worth looking into for the boy." He points to Wendel, whom looks up at him with a stupefied expression.
>>
>>25802005
Well after spending 10 minutes with those exorcists, I can't see how anyone wouldn't like being with us. Well, except stumpy.
>>
>>25802097
Please, Stumpy was a beloved member of the Family, he was having a great, great, time until that other Akuma ruined it.
>>
>>25802114
That is what we keep telling ourselves, so it must be true
>>
>>25802114
It would have been funny if we managed to turn stumpy into an Akuma. Who would suspect the limbless guy to be a monster? The accusation wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
>>
>>25802171
Besides he'd obviously be completely (h)armless
>>
>>25802087
We will see when we get there. Meaning if we get the opportunity we'll kill the smith and use his house as the staging area for our plans. It will be the yeast for our Florin bread.
>>
>>25802200
Shouldn't we check if any member of the family has some form of smithing skill? That way we could impersonate him.
>>
"I... I don't want to be a smith... I'd rather work in a tavern or apprentice for a mage..." He says glumly.
The elder son laughs," Well, aside from that, I'm sure the residing regent could use more guards for his manor, your friend there looks like a strong fellow."
Armbrust nods his head down," I might enjoy something like that, it's been some time since I served in the guard."

Mr. Fisher's brow finally relaxes,"If you visit an inn called "The Lady's Rest" and bring up my name, they might give you a bit of a discount, especially if you can pay some in advance, though what with the bandits.. It should be overlooking the lake, it's not the cheapest in town, but it's one of the nicer ones. Soldiers and other travelers that pass through often say good things about it. Must be true then, right?"
The man smiles through his thick whiskers.
Morgan bats an eyelash," It's not the cheapest, but one of the nicest, yes? I recall that inn, people would visit there and watch for the Lady of the lake's mist to roll in, yes? An older establishment, granted, yet its antiquity shows for something."
Mrs Fisher smiles," Oh, so you've been to Florin before?"
Morgan raises an eyebrow and smiles slowly," Why yes, my mother was born there. Haven't been there in a long time however... And I don't believe I've thanked you yet either as the others have, it is very good of you to shelter us, I'll see that we find a way to repay you for this deed in the future..." Morgan lets that last line hang on the air for a moment without smiling as much as she has.

The family though, the family understands. Kama and the children, even Armbrust also give their guarantee that they'll reward them in the future..

You make the promise as well...

It is not too long before you set off, as you leave the Fisher's home in the cold of the morning, you see that one of the houses has a cart and stables for some horses..
>>
Yet there are people out and about already, you hear whispers of people that disappeared the prior night...

>[] Take the horses and cart...
>[] Leave promptly, risk no more suspicion.
>[] Kill them all.
>[] (Other)
>>
>>25802274
[X] Take the horses and cart...

I like having a cart. Though we should probably leave, make a bit of a production of it so people aren't paying attention, and then fast members of our band circle back quietly and steal them right after we are out of sight.
>>
>>25802274
Lets leave without horses or the cart. No need for that really.

We could hunt down a couple of bandits groups to collect the bounty on their head.
>>
>>25802274
Light the blacksmith's place on fire, then take the cart while everyone is distracted
>>
>>25802359
>Light the blacksmith's place on fire, then take the cart while everyone is distracted

If this gets a second, I'll follow through with it as the plan...
>>
>>25802359
Only if we can make it look like a natural fire connected to his death via smoke inhalation, if we can do that it'll make for a good distraction and we can be out before anyone even thinks of us.
>>
>>25802255
>[] Leave promptly, risk no more suspicion
We don't want the Asher and the exorcist on our tail would we. Besides a little caution now means a bigger cake at Florin.
>>
>>25802479

It'd burn the place down. it's a small town too, so people would likely notice it right away. And everyone would help put out the fire.
>>
>>25802516
I second this. Lets lay low for while so the exorcists can't find us. Burning down the place would raise a giant red flag.
>>
With suspicion abound, you can't help but want that cart... It's not easy carrying everything on your person after all.. And it still irks you to appear as some poor sod that just happened to be robbed by bandits or happens to be a refuge..

Being upon the same rank on the scummy poor simply grinds your gears in the wrong way.
But your avarice doesn't get the better of you, with Florin just a day, even less away, you won't risk setting off a red flag such as that. A few villagers was enough, you the precious Morgan, and the rest of your family to consider.

It is better if the Asher remains unaware of your continued existence.
It comes to your mind however, that he's seen your face, and he knows your brother's form.. He even knows, at the very least of your group of "refugees." It may be best to avoid gathering once you reach Florin, and even replace some nobody to ensure you have a form under the order's "radar."

It's not easy, but the family walks from this small fishing village that you never learned the name of.. The first place that you've left and haven't razed to the ground.

- - - - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - - - -

You camp one night on the road, and by morning of the next day, you see Florin. A rather large town, smaller than Temes, but still well over a hundred, perhaps even a few hundred homes with a Manor situated across from the lake.
>>
>>25802826
Are there any lone, or small groups of, travellers that we can take out and make it look like they disappeared? We can get some cash from them, take any goods they have, and get a new disguise out of it.
>>
>>25802868
Or better yet, are there any gypsies? No one cares about gypsies
>>
You see a Guard tower in the distance bearing a colossal red cross tapestry. It seems that this place has their presence too. Just how far have your kind been pushed back by even these non-exorcists? You mull it over in your mind, yet Schwere has something to say," In Florin, the lady of the lake disappeared at the same time the Crimson Order established an outpost here. Umm... In every outpost, there are at least five of the order that are capable of magic, it's a standard procedure as I recall. That's not to say that there aren't more. There also may or may not be an exorcist working alongside them.. Often no more than one, and if that."

Morgan stares at Schwere intently, quite interested in what she has to say," Ah, I see, I see. So this is the same order that imprisoned me, yes? Odd that the Exorcists have allies such as them that infest such places like rats or fester my hatred like an aging rash. I see though.. I see.. They have expanded their forces, I'll have to think of something for this.." Morgan puts a finger to her chin, as she stands up straight and tall, posture that you'd actually expect of a noble-woman. You attempt to emulate the pose to some regard out of intrigue towards refinery, yet her eyes snap upon you suddenly, and you realize that the rest of the family is awaiting your command, and she, for your opinion perhaps?
"Faefnir, what shall we do first? I'd personally like to be established in an inn by noon at the latest, though I could go on to do that alone. This is your family however, what's your plan?"

>[] All you, Faefnir.
>>
Oh hell yes, akuma quest on a night I'm not otherwise busy. Let me catch up
>>
>>25802826
Before we baptise this town in flames to make it new Temes, I say we breed more level 1 Aluma. Lets create a dozen new akumas on the town. Those that survive will become members of our family.
>>
>>25802826
Remember this, we can always come back to light the fishing village up after Florin. It's barely a day away. Not that far for a bunch of Akuma.

>>25802868
Agreed
>>
>>25802982
Agreed. Go for families. It's my personal policy at this point
>>
Also, hate to break character or what ever, but Duke, you may want to consider doing a summary thread at some point. I mean, 12 quests is a bit to look through and it would be easier to just have one thread to go through for the story thus far.
>>
>>25802953
"How about your mother's house, Noah Morgan? If it is still standing we might use it for a better purpose. If not we shall stay at the inn, and search for opportunities to remove the pests from your city,"
>>
>>25803085
Really, I don't think it's that hard. If you want to catch up just look for the Duke's posts
>>
>>25802953
How are we on coin? If we do not have any money on us we might need to acquire it in order to get rooms at the inn. Acquiring it consists of finding someone moderately wealthy and making them disappear.

The goal here is to set ourselves up in the inn and get people integrated into the community quickly while avoiding notice, Schwere should look at much not like a Crimson Order person as possible.

We'll find a bakery and work there, maybe a pastry shop so we can expand our repertoire, Madeleine will find a tavern to barmaid at and listen to rumors, Armbrust as a guard of some sort, Kama either watches the kids or goes and looks for a job to her liking.

Once we've settled in we preform small hard to notice murders, things that look like odd disappearances or accidents, try to get more Level 1s in the town to draw attention away from us or add to our family if they're interesting, stay under the radar, but get some XP for the ones who aren't Level 2 and keep our urges in check, and find more about the local Crimson Order in the area, we want to know how many there are here, if there's an Exorcist around, we want intel and a proper plan.

If we're asked where we're from give an answer that doesn't have to do with Temes or the place we found Morgan, let's not get associated with places of destruction just yet, say we're travellers who found each other and bonded.

Once the time has come, information is gathered, a plan made, the stage set, we shall burn this place to the ground.
>>
>>25803085

I had thought of it, I'll do one thursday, as I'll be running again at 2000 Friday.

It's a fantastic idea, though I'll need to be sure I've got the more... important details written into summary.
>>
>>25803115
Just good to run a recap every 10-15 threads in, helps keep a thread full of new blood.
>>25803157
Cool dude, loving the quest so far.
>>
>>25802953
Also, lets find out if there are any graveyards here. I am now on the lookout for graveyards

>>25803105

>>25803119
A comprehensive one
>>25803211
And an additional detail.

Throwing them all together seem good?
>>
>>25803233
Yes!
>>
>>25803233
Works for me.

Also, stay close to Morgan, she might be kinda violent and we want to be nearby to solve anything that crops up.

Also, she likes being close to us and holding onto us, may as well grant her that.
>>
>>25803233
Sounds good to me
>>
>>25803263
If anyone asks, she's our daughter
>>
>>25803263
Cousin. She looks too old to be daughter.
>>
>>25803304
That won't work. Jacob, our main human form, looks 19, Morgan looks to be in her early 20s if I remember correctly.

We're either her boyfriend/beau or cousin, personally I'd go for beau, it means we don't have to explain our exact family relation.
>>
>>25803393
If we look similar enough I would go with cousin, otherwise beau.
>>
>>25803393
I say we let the extroardinarily powerful sorceress with utterly no sense of right and wrong choose our cover.
>>
>>25803433
The man makes a good point.
>>
>>25803428
We're a plain looking commoner type, brown hair, blue eyes, salt of the earth. She's gorgeous, tall, slender, black hair, and looks regal as can be.

I don't think we really look related, though people might question what she sees in us if we go for the beau story. We'll respond with something bread related.

>>25803433
Fair point, let Morgan decide what we tell people we are.
>>
You consider everyone for a moment as they all regard you, awaiting the leadership that has become so de-facto.

You meet Morgan's gaze first," What of your mother's home, Noah Morgan?"
She looks off and down the hill to the city, the river running through a mountain valley from the lake,"It was... taken when she died. I was too young to work and keep the home. I went to Ruinebriar to work a vineyard she had a stake in. Florin isn't a place that you really want to live alone in, not that anywhere is.. But enough of that dead hag, The Lady's Rest is well enough for me, unless we'd like to purchase a home when we collect enough money, or perhaps rent from the lord of this place? Whichever works."

You make your decision, "Very well, the Lady's rest it is." You look to everyone else,"We all need to find our way into jobs, if anything to blend in and become unknown. Don't do anything that would draw inherent suspicion, and we hunt at night, avoiding patrols and taking few to entice people into calling for their return."

Morgan clears her throat at that," There are things that I'd like to do here, let's not compromise ourselves right away. Also, I'd appreciate it if you could supply me with some... live humans. Procure them however you wish, I have..." She smiles wickedly, one that splits her face and sends a slight shiver down your spinal chain," Experiments to perform.. When I establish a safe location, of course," She flips her hair and turns back to Florin's visage as you carry on.
"Armbrust, seek employ as a guard, see if you can't become a guard to the lord's manor."
Armbrust Salutes, and for a moment, you see Ivan in him," Yes sir, I will do as you command."
You look to Madeleine," Take up employ in a tavern or an inn so that you can listen in on rumors and-"
"Garner tips with my.. " Madeleine crosses her arms behind her head and pushes out her chest with a gentle smile, unfitting of such a lewd pose," Talents?"
>>
>>25803549
Hmm, for Morgan's experiments we're going to have to find somewhere to set them, I doubt we should be doing that at the Lady's Rest.

Probably in the bad side of town, where people already go missing, somewhere abandoned, with a basement level if at all possible, a warehouse would work as would a number of different buildings. If there's a dilapidated church that'd be just delicious for the irony, and it'd likely already have squatters that she could use.

If she needs an assistant for this we'll be happy to help, or just spend time with her and make her some pastries while she works.
>>
>>25803549
Hmm. This makes it sound like Florin is a middle-high class place. Interesting. Armbrust will be very valuable as an ear in the guard will allow us to plan better ambushes and find good hiding spots for our lair.
>>
You and Schwere stare at her with mouths slightly agape before you slap the palm of your hand into your face,"Yes, yes... Whatever... Whatever you want to do short of-"
"Oh, I'm going to do it if I want to~" Madeleine bends forward and tugs at the fabric of her chest,"That is.. unless you..."
"I.. I don't care." Your cheeks are hot, and its not from your internal fire.
You look to Kama and Schwere,"Kama you can tend to the children if you'd like, or find employ doing..."
The surprisingly passive Akuma smiles at you gently, much like a mother's smile," I'll see if I can't work for a tailor.. The fingers of these body are rather nimble, and doubtful that I'll need to bother with a thimble, the children can apprentice under other adults as they like, we'll see if we can't find a tavern that'll allow Wendel to serve, and Kralle.."
The girl speaks for herself,"I'll run errands for people. They like children quick on their feet right? I'll learn the town that way too. It might be fun even.."
Schwere seems to ponder absently," I wonder if the lord has a library... It might be worth it trying to work there, or perhaps keeping his study organized? Oh dear, I may end up a maid.. but at least I'll be able to read more.."

Morgan looks back to you,"I take it that you're done?"

Everyone seems happy with their respective positions.

You all set out to establish yourselves...

You bow before the lady Noah with nothing short of reverence,"I hope to be up to the task of honouring the priviledge of using your name, Noah Morgan... as for your.. experiments.. Would you like assistance in finding a location to perform them? We can hardly do such a thing within the inn, lovely as it is, yes? I'd be a terrible monster of yours at that if I let you go without an escort.."

Morgan wears a sly, almost coy smile as she looks back to you," Why certainly, it's only proper for a lady to have an escort.." She spins upon her heel and takes your arm.
"Let us be off, The rest of you, meet us at the Lady's rest by Sundown."

Everyone listens to her, yet they look at you right after, expecting something,"Ah, let us be going, you are all dismissed."

The Family nods in unison and they head into town, separately. Something decided as to avoid direct "relation."

You and Morgan arrive at the road into town, streets paved with cobblestone and houses that overall don't look all that run down.. However, you are stopped at the City's entrance by a man in armor, bearing the red markings of the order," Halt, What business do you have upon the city of Florin?
The two of you travel alone and without cart, nor horse, nor wagon. Where do you hail and what is your relation?"
The guard stares at you intently, his fingers thumbing his sword, his partner just as ready across the road.

Just entering and you already need to deal with these.. eyesores...

You think of something to say, and you do so quickly, too slow and it'd be suspicious, just as much as it would be if it were too swift.
"We're from a small town to the south named Keswick, unlikely that it's been heard of much in these parts. To... put it into simple terms," You look at Morgan, as she looks at you, showing affection, feigned or not, you can't tell," My sweetheart and I left after some disagreements with her family. We come looking for somewhere to be together in peace."

You hear the guard begin to speak, however Morgan picks up right after you,"Unfortunately, people we've met upon the roads don't think the same, we've been robbed recently and are only here by the noble people of the Fishing village to the West of here.. I'm afraid we never caught the name, though Mr. Fisher had been kind to us, along with his wife and three sons and three daughters. That man is truly blessed to have so many children.."

The guard stares at the two of you without speaking, though you feel that you can almost hear him smile as he speaks," Good to have you grace Florin, This is a good place to live and I hope the two of you can find your love and peace here, as much as we, of the Crimson protect it." He bows slightly and stands out of your way, "Carry on you two lovers." He winks through his helm at the two of you.

"Bless your heart kind sir, we do hope that we find many blessings here.." You say, as a parting word as you pass.

What a goddamned scumbag..
His presence seems to have fouled Morgan's mood as she grows noticeably more quiet.
The two of you soon find the Lady's rest upon the lakeside and buy out two modest rooms with what money you still have on your person. It helps that that commander had made Mr. Bool pay you for the day, along with the other bit of money you still had on you.

As it stands now, you'll need to seek a "lab" for Morgan's experiments.
>>

How big are the lord's grounds? From what we can see?
>>
>>25804952
As much as it pains me, maybe we should put the baking on the back burner to help Morgan with her experiments
>>
>>25804984

From what you could see of the manor, it rests on the other side of the lake with a good deal of farmland and garden about it, though of course buried in snow. It's fenced off and more like a reminder that the nobility's watching, and rich rather than directly involved with Florin.

In other words, the grounds are rather big and it's far off from the Town of Florin.
>>
>>25804956
...Are...are you telling us to eat the lord?

...Guys...can we eat the lord?
>>
>>25805075
I'm iffy on that. He probably has a lot of guards, he's heavily involved with the Crimsons so they keep an eye on him and would notice things being off if we replaced him, and we don't know what other defenses he has in place.
>>
>>25804956

>>
>>25805098
>>25804956

>>25805161
I'm voting for the Graveyard anyway. Eat the priest or gravekeeper (we can vote on it later). We can move up to the lord later, after we've gathered more information.

It'd be hard to attend to the needs of Morgan and our family if we're too busy keeping up appearances as the lord, anyway.
>>
>>25805161
eh, rather check graveyard before trying to replace the head of an entire town

So seeing as how Maitora built the Ark, it would be great if we were able to meet up with the Duke again and have him link Morgan to it.

Unless the Ark (as we know it in the manga) hasn't been built yet.

Then how does the Duke travel around so easily....
>>
>>25805237
Then we should definitely up our Disguise before we go after the Lord, if ever. It'd be inadvisable to take his place if we lack the ability to even hold it.
>>
>>25805273
don't go too big. a lot of people will notice if the lord starts acting weird.

>>
>>25805358
people also notice when prisoners go missing. they don't care as much, but they notice.
>>
>>25805391
I think he meant as one of the guards.

>>
>>25805391
Meant the overseer or someone in a position of power.
>>
>>25805456
never go for a position of power. people will notice you acting differently.
>>
>>25805477

>>
>>25805515
so yeah, in retrospect, I say we go for the graveyard and eat the grave keeper.

After leaving The Lady's Rest, the two of you walk on for some time taking in the sights of Florin.

You note a few bakeries as the two of you stroll through the market street.
> The Soft Muffin
> Lord of the Rolls
> The Warm Morning

You note the more interesting names down for future reference, likely you'll be taking employ in them, after all.
You note a butcher or two and suggest perhaps doing work in his cellar, perhaps without his knowledge and disposing of bodies promptly. She chides you that her work is to involve the living, not the dead. And she'd rather not share board with swine and cow.

You and Morgan stroll by the docks, noticing an empty shipyard, yet she complains that it reeks of fish and men that would rather have a salty deck than a woman.. You wonder if that's a pun.

Finally, against your better judgement, you take her up to the church and its graveyard, which turns out to be rather expansive. She grimaces at the place of worship and scoffs at the idea for a moment, yet then her smile turns to that wickedly wide grin of hers. She likes the idea of desecrating it..

"Come, we need to examine this further," She tugs upon your arm, stepping on a grave.

Right away, you hear the angry yell of an odd man with a brush and shovel," Respect the dead you damned Wench! Stick to the paths, don't go trampling on their memory, y'hear?!"

You feel Morgan grow cold and slowly look over to the man, a frozen smile upon her face," Why, did you hear that my dear? This disorderly man called me a wench!"

The man scoffs at her,"Refined tart aren't you, Call'n me disorderly. I care for these people here, and you just disrespected the memory of Lisa Hemming! Turn to her and apologize!" The man stares her down, his features plainer than yours.. well, no... that isn't right, his features are a touch uglier, rougher, cruder. If you were salt of the earth, he'd be the rock.
>>
>>25805576
I just realized that, as Gravekeeper, we basically have free access to all the corpses.

Then ask him some questions, ask him if people often come to visit their loved ones, if people visit this church often, how long he's worked here, what his duties are, say we came to pay our respects to the local church and ask him about about the local priest.

You bow your head politely, a smile forming upon your lips, much unlike Morgan's that only holds back how livid she is with the man.
Not to say that you aren't just as much for her, yet your tongue feels cool as silver right now," I apologize for my dear's transgression good sir, I had not noticed the paths, and neither did she, what with all of the snow."

The man seems to calm down some, and he looks down," Ah, that's understandable. I'm sorry I let my temper get the best of me..."
You take this moment to pull Morgan back and touch her shoulder to bid for her to calm down, which she does in short term.
"May I ask what your name is sir? It would be an honor to know who's kept these graves in such.. hmm, pristine condition."

The man looks tickled by your compliment and smiles as he walks around the graves, careful to walk on a shallow path in the snow and settles behind a grave to brush the snow off," My name is Edward Tucker.. Tending these graves has been my pride for around ten years or so.. I started around after the last plague hit. Florin here didn't fare too badly, though that's likely because the Lord Henrick contacted the Crimson early on... Ah, and that Grave, Lisa Hemming. She was a woman that I had loved for a long time... However I never had the guts to approach her before she married another man.. She caught sick from the plague and.." He stops for a moment to wipe his eyes upon his coat," I'm sorry, something got into my eye," He moves onto another grave.
Morgan begins to relax into your arms, controlling her innate distaste now.. you'll have to be wary of these... "fits."

"Mr. Tucker, how old might you be?"

The man looks up to you, a bit confused," I'm turning forty this year. So I'm thirty nine, make of it what you will, I did end up marrying, however plague took that no-good wife of mine."

Why he might even call for the Good Doctor should he be reminded of his love once more.

Why in fact we could offer him a loaf of bread and ask him of his lost love, one taken by plague, that would leave the Priest free as our disguise.

Once he is saddened by our bread and speaking of Lisa we could say that while on the road we heard tales of a Doctor who could let you speak to your loved ones once more, not that we hold any belief in such poppycock and then tell him to forget we said anything and it seems a silly tale.

Soon enough he'll call for the Good Doctor.
>>
Edward looks up at you with a gleam to his eye," Young lovers eh? That's a bit ironic.. Oh how the Lord brings these things to one's doorstep.. Though I often wonder if the Lord was right in taking Lisa from me.. And to never have given me such courage.. Ah," He waves that off," Never mind I said that, Pastor James wouldn't like to hear of that from an old codger like myself. He's performing a later service right now, if the two of you go, you won't miss it. As for me, I prefer not to attend, though I still hear the hymns they sing every now and then.. I often hum or whistle my own song so that I don't hear it... But, heh, look at me ramble on like this... You two should be off. It was a nice talk, may I ask your names?"

Morgan glances into your eyes.

[X] Don't eat him.

"I'm Jacob." Let Morgan choose what name to use for this. "It was no trouble to hear my friend. What you lacked in courage then you have more than made up in devotion to her now. If only there was a way to speak to the dead once more, there are always so many things left unsaid.

Forgive me, I'm rambling. Allow me to give you some of my bread to apologize."

Pull some black bread from our coat, give him it, and let him eat it and wallow in his sorry as he thinks of all the things he could have said.

Then we'll visit the Church.

He could even act as Morgan's own personal errand boy.

While we could go ahead and take the priest out, to ensure that Mr. Tucker's "abnormal" behavior goes unnoticed.

How should we approach this?

So Edward, what would say to that sweet girl you once loved if she was still here? Do you miss her?

You know, if my beloved died, I would give anything to bring her back.

Bring her back from that cursed God who takes people before their time, who betrays humanity.

What if I told you that it was possible to bring her back?

You all remember that, right?
>>
>>25806750
Bad flirting with bakery puns followed by remembering her dead sister?

>>
>>25806705
Hold, friend! We need to give him time, to consume the black bread, to feel the tears of an unrequited love, to be so desperately alone with his thoughts while we wander and mingle in the church.

We must stay our hand now, so we can reap the benefits when he finally breaks.
>>
>>25806705
I think that's a bit far, mentioning "cursed God" and that he betrays humanity is straight up heretic talk, and even if he's sad as fuck he works rather damn close to the Church. Risky. It'd probably be okay given his earlier talk, but let's not barge straight into HERETIC land.

I'd go for something more like this, after he has eaten the bread and we've chatted for a bit, asked him about Lisa, why he loved her, get him to remember details of her like the color of her hair and eyes, the way she laughed.

"Edward, it was no trouble to hear your tale, and it saddens me to see that your true devotion to Lisa was never rewarded. It wasn't fair that you never got a chance to say what you truly wished to say to her. The world is often cruel and unkind.

When on the road with my sweetheart we heard a tale from some Romani about a Doctor who could bring back the dead and give you one last chance to speak with them, they even claimed it to be true. Utter poppycock of course, such a thing is unimaginable. The dead are dead and there's no way around it so far as I've seen."

We get him interested in the idea, but don't outright suggest it to him.
>>
You approach the man, leaving morgan's side for a moment and offer him your hand, you feel the wheels of fate already turning.
"My name is Jacob, and a lady may introduce herself." Edward takes your hand, shaking it with his strong, gloved hands.
"My name is Maggie, I apologize myself for the trandgression on your.." She looks away and to the grave, with a mournful sound in her voice," Once beloved."

The man smiles sadly as he releases your hand and gets back to brushing snow off of the headstones," It's alright miss, I know not all have the same respect for the dead. It wasn't right of me to snap on you as I did.
You cut in now, things that need, and rightfully should be said,"If I may, Mr. Tucker What you lacked in courage then, you have made up for in your devotion now... Surely, if there were a way to let her know now, she would surely accept your feelings..." You reach into your coat, beyond his sight and pull out a loaf of your black bread from your oven.
"Here you are, It's made to be black, but it's a special bread that I often only give to my friends, which I would count you among."

The man takes the bread and looks it over carefully, his nose sneering at it for a moment, yet his expression soon softening as your smile disarms him," I thank you for the gift..."
"It is my pleasure. Should you think of Lisa as you eat it, I think you'll feel all the better."
You say with a hand upon his shoulder, and break pieces for yourself and Morgan, consuming them happily before him, right before you walk through the graveyard and into the church.

"You're a delightful one you know Faefnir, giving that man your bread.. filling his mind with a lost one... It's almost as though you WANT to do a good doctor's work.." Morgan teases you, her arm wrapped around yours again.
"Right, well I only live to please after all, what's a "bird" like myself without several more of a flock?"
>>
>>25806882

And here for a moment I thought you'd actually commit to a random slaughter during there most sacred moments... Oh how rich that would have been! I'm sure you've all noticed that I almost always give total slaughter as an option, yes?

Edward should probably wallow in his misery for a bit before we go visit him, give him time to think, alone, of everything he loved about Lisa, all the memories of her that he has left, memories untainted by the passage of time, and instead polished to an ideal she could never have reached.

And going inside seems awkward.

>>
>>25807409
Start by asking if she's cold, there is snow on the ground after all. If she is we can hug her a bit closer and warm up, wouldn't do to let Morgan freeze.

Ask how she feels about the rest of our little flock.

Ask her what sort of experiments she has planned.

Also ask what her plan is for this place and how she is going to pull it off. This place is under public scrutiny and we can't imitate the Priest that well, we can do his appearance, but we don't know his personality nor do we know our scripture.
>>
>>25807143
I have to wonder if our recent humanization, sleeping and dreaming and such, isn't a reflection of our unwillingness to take 'the Akuma way out' more often than not. Or Noah hax. Could just be noah hax.
>>
>>25807562
We're far more effective at doing Akuma stuff than if we just randomly slaughtered our way around. Preparation and planning leads to the Good Doctor's work getting done, sloppy bouts of rage and murder lead to us dying.
>>
>>25807562
But our "humanization" is what allowed us to rack in such a high headcount so fast. Our humanity is what allowed us to plan carefully our massacre and get away with it. Ironically, its the human part in us that make us so dangerous.

I am starting to wonder if we aren't something more than a normal Akuma.

>>
>>25807637
of course we're more, we are the Good Doctor's favorite toy after all <3

"No, We'll be waiting out here, such sermons make my brain hurt.." You pull away from Morgan's grasp gently and lean to the side of the entrance, you note that the church doors open to the inside.

Morgan reclines against the wall next to you and touches her shoulder to yours,"Faefnir, How long have you been with your family?"
You consider the question for a moment, thinking back to the night of Temes that you had all met, with Ivan at that. The days on the road, the scum bandits, the day you spent in Ruinebriar and the five days it took to get to Florin... It's been such a short time, yet also, so long. "Just under two weeks by my count, why?"
She shrugs against you,"No reason, it just feels like you've known them for longer than that. You're all so close, and you were all sad by the wo- .. By Ivan's death. You were all.. surprisingly emotional.. Almost like the Noah family itself."
"We have been through much together. We've shared some very good... hunts.."
She turns to look up to you, her chocolate brown eyes and black hair catching sparse rays of sunlight," I just don't remember you.. being this way.. Adam must have changed his design a bit.."
It's your turn to shrug," Doesn't really matter now, does it? I am what I am, and we're here now. What did you ave in mind when you have workspace?"
Morgan gifts her head against your shoulder and pulls away only to get close to your ear for a whisper," If they can make alternatives to exorcists, I can make my own alternatives to Noah. I have the ability, I know it." She pulls back from you, "It'll just take time, and a bunch of tries, but I know i'll be able to do it. Something's got to turn this around... Adam's wish won't be fulfilled at this rate..."
>>

"Though I am but one Akuma I will endeavor to see his wish fulfilled in any way I can.

Morgan, what is your plan for taking the church while keeping it from being suspicious? I must warn you, I would not make a skilled preacher no matter whose skin I wore."
>>
>>25807792
>care to play adam and eve? I'll be adam....
>>
This Piques your curiosity," What is Adam's wish?"
Morgan looks to you, her eyes still as water, and expression just as calm," The fall of God, of course. . . We need to be free of the tyrant's shackles if we're ever to get anywhere... real. They just don't get it yet... They are playthings before that... thing... all of us are... except for those of us that.. Remember what he did." She looks to you deeply, her face still as calm as can be," Their deaths are a necessary sacrifice to make you and others powerful.. While taking away that things influence. It is the only way we'll ever be free."

You rise from the wall, much to her surprise and take her hands whilst kneeling," I assure you Lady Morgan, any dream of Adam's is a dream I whole-heartedly share." You look up to her, just as the doors open, and people begin to file out, only to stop at you and Morgan to stare.

Morgan looks at them, her still-as-water- expression suddenly gaining a flustered emotion as she realizes what this looks like. "Ah, ah, no. It's.."

A woman chides from the small crowd," Oh, it's alright. Romantic to propose before a church, will you be getting wed here?"
A man laughs," Why, I can see why a young man wants a lady like that.
His wife chides," A woman like what? Where are you looking?"
A little girl giggles," Come on, come on, say yes.

You can sense Morgan's growing embarrassment as her hands tremble in yours, what with, her face doesn't not precisely betray..

>>
>>25807724

I have noted before that the MC will face personal character development.

Compare level 1 Faefnir to now.
Before he had incomprehensible hatred to hobos, a one-track mind set to bread, and a second track set to murder.

His mind began to get refined and despite being given something of a leadership position by the family, which at the time he was crude at, Ivan did a better job. He's come to fit that roll far more and the family now respects him through their general successes and see him as a leader. Not to say anything of their own changes, mind you, and how human they've become.
>>
>>25807882
>[x] Let the joke play out.
We are supposed to be lovers who fled from their parents, of course it would be in character to propose to her now.

We'll get our vengeance when we kill every single one of them and disperse their entrails all over the burning ruins of their town.

Sounds like barbecue actually.
>>
>>25807882
Lets just leave. Morgan getting embarrassed and that's no good. We can see if the gravekeeper is going to call the Doctor. Besides, Morgan might want to talk to the Doc.
>>
>>25807882
[X] Let the joke play out.

This is assuming letting the joke play out means that we let everyone here believe that we meant it.

Give her a subtle nod and give her hands a gentle squeeze. If they think we're getting married we'll have opportunities to do whatever we want in the church. And it cements our cover something fierce.

After she says yes we stand up, give her a hug, whisper in her ear something about how we'll kill them later, and then we start up our operation to take control of the church and turn it into her workshop.

You keep your hands over Morgan's, even as she trembles, looking up to her and smiling slyly from the unwanted. You decide to play along with this little display," Maggie, we've come so far from Keswick.. Won't you accept my formal proposal before the eyes of these dear strangers, won't you become my wife?"
You can't help but smile like crazy at how hilarious this whole predicament is...

Morgan's eyes begin to tear up, as she pulls a hand away to wipe away the tears, now accepting the role she had to play in this... charade. "Yes, yes my dear Jacob," She's smiling now," Of course I'll marry you!" She drops into the snow and wraps her arms around you. Shortly after you hear the small crowd clap, and other woman begin crying at your little display.

You hear a voice break through the clapping, young, yet stern, and vocal as though used to being heard,"What a blessing it is to see two young lovers upon the step of my church. This is indeed a wonderful thing to bear witness to!" Your eyes see a priest, dressed in black and bearing a common cross upon his robe, brown hair that falls and a young, handsome face... more handsome than yours actually, you note.
He swings his hands with a bit of drama to touch the surface of a bible he's held up with his knuckle," Observe the love that these two share, only made possible by the love of your lord father in heaven, and the spirit of the holy ghost!" The man rambles on and you feel Morgan gripping her fingers sharply into your body as she begins to tremble once, more, yet relaxes after a few seconds.

The two of you stand, holding hands, and she's the one to speak to the man," Why, what gracious timing that the Priest of this church would see our declaration... Surely it is a gift.."

"When did you wish to be wed in the eyes of God?" The Priest smiles, a gentle disarming smile that takes you aback a bit.

"I, well.. we had hoped for spring, when the flowers bloom once more... A popular time yes... And much better than the harsh cold of winter..."
The Priest nods, understandsing quite well," If you'd like, I could shoe you around this church, I am certain that those gathered here would love to attend your wedding, if you would not mind, and of course, we have room for any friends or family of yours.

The two of you glance at each other," Alas, our friends here are few," You say, though you convert that into a bit of a sly smile as you look to the others gathered," Yet I suppose with witnessing that, I can count you all among them, yes? So I have many friends after all."

Morgan leans into you and gives you a hard glance with her eyes, betraying the gleam of your more... honest intentions..

You know what she wants...

Nice. Going with this and say that we haven't yet found any housing so we'll have the marraige when we get settled down.

[X] Alright, time for a new joke, humor the man with the old one.

Perchance does the priest need a helper? Someone of the female persuasion?
If he says yes in front of these people they might jump to conclusions and forgive some odd behavior later on.
>>
>[] Ask to take a look around the church.
Any place we can use to store bodies or use for experiments would be useful.
>>
>>25808528
>>[] Let's carry on with the joke! Time to kill everyone here! It'll be funny!
>>
>>25808528
That gives me an horrible, horrible idea.

We go on with the marriage idea and plan everything out. Then on that day we massacre the town.
>>
>>25808528
yup, time for a new joke. I think we took it far enough past the limit.

although I'm not so sure about this old joke... Is that the one where we put our bun in their oven?
>>
>>25808528
[X] Ask to take a look around the church.

If this is to be her workshop she ought to know more about it.

Also once we're on the tour of the church ask the priest for a private moment with our fiancee. He'll be sure to accept, we can then discuss the plan from here to take over the church while not making any waves.

The big problem is the priest, we can't imitate him properly, and he's unlikely to go Akuma for us. Maybe Morgan has a way of making it work.
>>
>>25808607
alas, spring is so far away, and we don't plan to stay here for too long...

their terrified screaming and begging would make one hell of a wedding present, though.
>>
>>25808608

It's whatever you want it to be, I wrote those options in clashing ways

>>25808626
She could use the church basement if he happened to agree.

Though the original plan was to use a mausoleum here. Limited space, but sealed off to prevent screaming. Requires more the gravekeeper's approval than the priest's.
>>
>>25808633
We can stay here until spring until we are found out. Morgan needs a place to experiment and we need time to create more Akuma and plan and prepare the attack on the town.
>>
>>25808528
new joke, also ask to look around
>>
>>25808651
Mausoleum would also work.

The church basement would however be completely hilarious as an option, and no one would think to look there if we somehow got the Priest not to worry about it.
>>
>>25808651
is it a single basement, or are there catacombs like in old churches?
>>
>>25808688
What if we became the priest?
>>
Rolled 70

>>25808706
then things would be funny
>>
>>25808706
Not a good idea. We don't know our scripture, we couldn't act like the priest, we'd end up going insane from our urge to kill all the praying fools, and it's a full time job so we couldn't go baking things.

Morgan is a Sorceress, and she remembers who and what she is, given that Maitora's the one who makes the Skulls it wouldn't be out of the question for her to be able to throw magic at him to make him not question her activities below.

Or if that isn't a possibility we set her up in the mausoleum.
>>
Alright, the old joke's stopped being funny, and you aren't quite sure how long Morgan can keep playing at being Lucid.

He laugh it off a bit,"Right, well.. If we are to be wed here, we'd at least like to take a look around. First, would you mind, sir?"
The rest of the people begin to file away as the excitement dies down, and he smiles, and widely, though in an almost creepy manor.
He pulls you and Morgan inside, and shuts the door as the last of the people leave," To keep out the cold, he says..."

But just how is this Priest really?

He's a very creepy fellow, I wonder if he's Noah, you did use Kirei as a picture, and Kirei does love his suffering. Or he may be Akuma, a very, very, undercover Akuma, in which case if he transforms we can reveal ourself and he ought to sit down, shut up, and give us a hug.
>>
>>25808839
Don't forget the bread. Everyone must try it once in their lives.

So, anyway. It's pretty clear from the dream that the pair we saw was Bondomu and that we're going to have to unite the two halves back together.

Anyway, Duke, you want this thread archived now?
>>
>>25808978
I don't know why I posted this without completing my thought.

What I was going to say was that Kotomine here is either that half or, perhaps, an Akuma protecting/taking care of the Noah. It seems appropriate.

>>25809007
of course, we don't exactly know what the dream meant. this is what i've worked out so far from the dream. parts of this might be wrong:

The.. ... .... a cr.....
Those who ....her ...dle ....in the ....le.
One become two.
One cr.... disappears within the mist.
A .... .. ....ing in the graveyard .
.....pears.
>>
>>25809019
If this turns out to be the case, I say we half-transform and let our wings out.

It'd look quite appropriate, you know. A devilish(ly handsome) figure in the house of god. And I think dragons were considered to be a manifestation of the devil in Medieval Europe.
>>
>>25809038

He lays a board over the doors to keep it shut much to the suspicion of you and Morgan.

Your own eyes go wide,m fearing for what this man must be planning. He heads to the back of the church, past the pews and straight to the altar, throwing the bible away as though it was rubbish, and kneeling down at the end of the walk, showing reverence to the two of you," My Friend, and my lady... A good Doctor came to me some nights ago... And of a more recent visit within my dreams, he foretold your coming here... It... is my most esteemed honor to meet you Lady Noah, this humble, scumbag of a human is not worthy to be in the sight of such grace." He speaks with passion, resolve, and what you'd normally think of madness for a human.. wait... he did indeed say that he was a human, yes?

Morgan slowly pulls away from you and draws down the aisle with her nearly regal grace, you soon follow her in escort, and she stops before the grovelling man, putting his face into her hands and lifting him up, staring deeply into his eyes.
"No wonder your words did not incur my hatred so.. They were spoken with an empty heart.. You have seen the doctor?"

The man draws his head back down, and slowly stands, brushing himself off and motioning just to his left where a familiar shadow rises from the pews, unseen before.

That familiar cane, the mask, the tall and slender body with a walk just as regal and enchanted as Morgan's, you too bow before him.
The Good Doctor...
"Good evening, my dear Maitora, and the dear Faefnir that brought her to me... You have only exceeded my expectations... Excellent, excellent work!" The man claps with Cane in hand, and it warms your heart.

It has been so long since you've seen him..

indeed they are, good sir.
>>
>>25809043
Has the word "cradle" ever been mentioned in a context apart from Jasdevi in the manga? I just thought that the imagery was associated with Bondomu, rather than with the entire Noah Family.
>>
>>25809043

>>
>As always, it's a pleasure running this for you all. Such a decent crowd, you gentlemen make it worth what malice I've gotten mixed in with respect.

That fourth line might be 'One crying disappears within the mist.'
The last line could be
.....pears
Disappears or It appears.
>>
>>25809093
it's probably just disappears. if it were two words, there probably would have been a space.
>>
>>25809063
Awesome. I bet the Good Doctor is rather happy with us right now. We should probably tell him that if he goes outside in a bit he'll probably have another Akuma candidate.

Question about the dream, is each "." a single letter rather than more? Are all the spaces indicated with spaces?
>>
>>25809063
can we hug him and call him daddy?

>>
>>25809296
A question, Duke. The baguette opens up old wounds...how old are we talking about?
>>
What if we made communion wafers that made us more focused and humans more liable to accept suggestion?
>>
>>25809330
But better. Because they know magic.

So they're sort of a mixture between the Science Division and the Finders, I guess.
>>
Okay, operating on the fact that it's a song there's going to be a lot of repetition. So on seing ...dle I figured cradle. Found all the other places it fit. Once I found a word I saw where else it could be put. Put in the obvious stuff, make a few guesses for flow.

"There was once a cradle
There was another cradle within the cradle.
One became two.
One cradle disappeared within the mist.
A .... .. ....ing in the graveyard.
Disappears. "

My guess for the song, looking up "There was once a cradle" we find Jasdevi's Song which is

"There was once a cradle.
There was another cradle within the cradle.
One became two.
One cradle disappears within the mist.
A star is shining in the graveyard .
Disappears."
So yeah, Jasdevi.
>>
>>25809340
Oh man....

We need to research a recipe for communion wafers that increases our willpower and lowers the willpower of humans....we could get our good friend Kotomine to distribute them during Mass.....and we'd have an entire parish devoted to our cause.
>>
>>25809295

You'll find out. They'll be a bit... different here.

>>25809340

>>25809336

>>25809352

>>
>>25809372
Aw, Duke, if I knew you were just going to copy paste the entire verse there, I'd have looked it up on the wiki too.
>>
>>25809352
>A .... .. ....ing in the graveyard.
>a baby is weeping in the graveyard?
>>
>>25809372
The baguette could potentially be quite useful as a weapon.

If we could find a way to force feed enemies during combat.

I'm hoping further upgrades to the Creation Oven will let us make something like that. Maybe living food that tries to get into our targets.

Or the ability for our food to retain their special abilities as ash, so that we could burn them up and direct them at our enemies. Weaken them while we suffocate them.
>>
>>25809352
Excellent work, sir.

though I was already pretty sure it was JasDevi because of the "One became Two" thing. this just cements it.

But don't worry, Duke, we'll try not to meta-game it too much
>>
>>25809372
Rest assured, Duke, we probably won't be able to guess the variations to his power that you'll add.
>>
>>25809392

There'll be more, don't worry. And harder to dissect as there won't be an original... Hehehe...

>>
>>25809396
Well he could have changed that line, so maybe. But there's stuff involving graveyards, mist, mist is especially relevant considering Florin's history.

>>25809463
Once I put my mind to it and saw the word cradle I got most of it, only bit I couldn't get naturally was ".... .. ....ing" as there are far too many possibilities for that.

I just realized that we never did find out what the importance of that drunk sob we met at the tavern (from our first meeting with the Crimson Cross) was.

Hopefully that plot point won't be discarded completely, if it was ever important at all.
>>
Once we've recruited Mr. Tucker into the fold, we might want to consider naming him Garmr, since we're planning to make him Morgan's assistant and it'd be nice to have someone with the Sonic Roar ability.
