Here's what I think we should do.

Talk to Adavan, see what he thinks about servanting. Then, we talk to Abigail after classes and figure out her opinion too. We take whoever wants to be a Servant to the shadow mana pool and do that business. While we're there, in the presence of shadow mana, we deep focus and figure out if the sword shards match the ones we've already absorbed.

After your long conversation, you lean back against the wall alongside Adavan and think hard. And there's plenty to think about. It's been a long, long few days. And from the looks of things, they're only going to get longer.

Two hours later, Abigail leaves class. You join her for lunch back in Yi Fang's tower, and this is followed by another classroom session.

When she returns home, Fang takes time to drill her in simple spells. He has her form shields, fire small bolts of Spirit at targets, and wrap wood blocks of different sizes and shapes in binds of Spirit. He patrols around the room during her efforts, commenting and critiquing. At times, he kneels next to her, guiding her hand with his own, or demonstrating a spell with just a touch of his own power.

You and Flint watch from the side of the room. Abigail zaps her tenth target in a row, and Fang smiles, pleased. He sets the 11th.

"It's almost like he cares," Flint mutters. "What a joke."

Also, I'm not pleased that no one else is around to corroborate Yi Fang's treatment and plan of action for the Shel'Kath, but we can't really do anything about that, I guess.
