Um.. Guys, I am back... ;_;

Welcome back to Commissar quest!

You are Otto Schulte a twelve year old girl currently bunkered down into the administratum vessel: "The Sacred Mertaliam" on the way to what you known only as the "Schola"

Last week we got caught by the medic, made a friend and ate a lot of green paste before tucking in for the night.

"Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst."

Roll rules:

Highest of first three rolls for things the character is skilled at doing.
Median of first three rolls for things the character is "capable" at.
Lowest of first three rolls for things the character is utterly shit at.

Cont post explained: If there is a post marked at the end with "cont" its becouse your QM is lazy, and can't type fast - or becouse he wants to give you the option to jump into the current events, or offer opinions, if none are offered he'll continue as normal

Disclamer in regards to Re:Spelling:] I suck at spelling big time, if anyone actually cares its due to the fact I suffer from Dysgraphia, its the primary reason I got into RP in the first place, trying to practice my spelling. Its not about "don't complain about it!" but rather: "If you've got the time and want to proof read it great! But lets not clog the thread with it, send it to my E-mail! (Yes I do use a spellchecker

"Its still early, you think to yourself while pushing your face deeper into the pillow, the ships internal lighting had barely just begun the slow tinting into day-mode, rendering the local in a dark twilight.

You are resting in your bed, its a rather luxurious bed actually - its apparently foldable, you never quite got the hang of that however, luckily the thing was already assembled when you got there, a mighty curious thing, it had some manner of filling.. thing, its called a mattress you learned later, and bellow that springs! Springs, like the ones you'd see inside a ships engine room, but so much smaller!

Its a big change from where you used to sleep on the Rangers Talent - a simple hole in the wall that had been for storage but had its insides stripped bare by Uncle Eric to allow you space.

Frankly, this bed is probably the only redeemable thing about this whole trip! Soon you'd be forced into a landing craft and set to a planet!

"I mean really, why would anyone want to live in such an open space?" you mumble into the pillow, the whole idea of it have put you on edge.

You fully appreciate that this schola is where you've been heading all your life, its been the destination for as long as you can remember. You aren't voidborn neither - but you've only been to a planet two times (that you remember), and uncle Eric was there.

You know your suppose to be grown up now...

But it still left you uncomfortable, how would people react? Would they like you? What if there where only boys.. what would you do then?

Perhaps they don't have toilets on planets... What if they just pee, right there - in the open!?

Your shake your head, this is not getting you anywhere, you'd best get out of the bed, perhaps get breakfast? If you go early there should still be some yellow paste left(thinking about this manages to get your belly tightening - you really love the yellow paste)"

The ship should be arriving at the planet soon, you think to yourself while hoisting up on groggy arms, swinging into a sitting position, you'd been on enough trips to know that at least. There had never
been more then a day or so before they'd arrive at a system's planet after dropping out of the immaterium.

While Rubbing your eyes you notice a singular dataslate resting on the nearby bed-chest.(the only other things that where inside the little "room" - or rather the space between four wires and three blankets hung from them, they entire hangar had been outfitted similarly to house all the passengers)

where you left it yesterday and get a sinking feeling in your chest, that belongs in the Cognitator room, you had not had the time finish reading it, but if you where dropping out of the warp and soon landing, you'd better return it."

Well, getting dressed is probably rather favorable you note to yourself, in typical transit fashon you had slept in a long darkened robe - you are not sure whats its orginal purpose where, but it was warm - and had this interesting filling inside it you never quite figured out. (the only downside was the way it smelled of engie grease but then again so this most thing on starships)

Soon you are however properly dressed, once again returned into wearing the typical blue overall you've grown accustoms to, its fairly new actually - you got it what? Three years ago, and you've even managed to grow into it enough to stop having to double fold the legs upwards not to trip. The large overall covers your entire body easily, from feet to neck - it was the way most people ombord dressed, aside from the passengers - but then again, even if some of the people you've seen around had really fancy clothing - you would assume they'd just ruin them down here.

Stretching your arms into the air you grab the nearby dataslate before heading out, you where right - it is early. Next to no-one is around, only a handfull lumbering shapes moving between the "rooms" in the holding bay, all the better you muse - traveling is more efficent with less people around after all.

While walking towards the holding bay doors you turn up the dataslate to view, "Internal ship manufacturing" - it had caught your attention some days before during a visit to the primary cognitator rooms.

Returning it was quite frankly the only right thing to do afterall - besides breakfast could wait.

The corridor was just starting to light up properly, casting a ever-increasing light over the dull and color worn metal of the corridor the air smelled curiously of burning metal - a sign that the ship was running hot, probably pushing itself to hard to stay to schedual, you hope that there won't be something blowing out again, you remember the time when the cooling system deactiavted on The Rangers Talent, you nearly all cooked alive untill the adepts managed to activate it again.

A simple press on the door controll panel makes it swing open, revealing the inside a large room - so large infact that you can't make out the other side, stashed in among large alchoves and effegies to the machine spirit sat the ships various cognitator outlets - you had accses only becouse you had managed to score a temporary jobb as a data-carrier, a humble work but it did net you some benifits - like accses to the dataslates.

While looking around you notice two things in particular, one cognitator is powered on.. but no-one is sitting at it, and that the data-slate turner-in-servitor-you-forgot-the-name-off have moved to seemingly sort out a series of books stacked in a corner.

You peer longingly at the cognitator... but you remember the dataslate suddenly awkward in your hand.

A grown up would turn in the slate and walk away you muse, its the only right thing to do!

Turning around you walk across the spotless floor, (someone obviously have cleaned it recently) heading towards the large servitor - its multi-limbed bulk moving between the book stacks with surprising ease - it takes no heed about you until you stretch the slate towards it upon an arm shoots out to grab it easily, the thing didn't even turn to watch you!

Feeling a bit stumped, not even a "Thank you" you give the room another look, the cognitator is still powered, but your belly's empty.

You give the room one last look over, its time to move on - you'll miss rooms like this, always quiet stacked with knowledge... perhaps the Shola will have them as well?

You heard a distant crash while walking through the corridor, it was not loud enough to be the ships hull giving in so it did not bother you much as you walked through the ship internal corridors, passing every now-and-a-then a carved door, often depicting or so you where told - for indeed the ships doors where often rather dulled and worn some great battle by the Emperor.

You never knew much about him, he was a god of course that much you knew. Its to him everyone went when they died, you had heard story of how he lead humanity from some place called "Terra" - it was like heaven where everyone was happy Uncle Eric had told you.

You wish you where going there instead of this Schola.

Still, you continue the trip moving through the ships maze like structure mostly by hearth - its rare that you stop to look upon the corridor markings, its only been a few months but you knew the ship well enough already.

Besides, they where build rather logically if you took into account the ships structure, it was just like counting backwards and then adding in the compartment number.

Soon however, you are stepping inside the primary mess hall, its already somewhat bustling but there are enough empty seats, much to your surprise however moving between the tables with a cloth and sponge, is a familiar face - its the serf from yesterday, Johnatius.

The boy looks up from the tables he was scanning, confusing crowding his face for a moment before slowly breaking into a smile

"Mornin' back for more food?"

"Correct" - you state, nodding while looking past him quickly - there is a line forming over by the food dispensers.

You point towards the building queue and state to Johnatius "One moment, I'd best get food before they run out of yellow paste!"

He nods in agreement before you shuffle between the tables, in the large mess hall - its ever slowly filling up however, so you'd best hurry if you want a good seat.

Passing by two humming servitors collecting left-over plates you place yourself in the food queue, collecting your tray-plate from a fresh stack.

The entire process takes awhile, but at least you managed to get a few spoonfuls of the yellow paste!

Turning around to peer over the room you take it in for awhile - there is probably well over five hundred seats in here, and yet several of the large tables are already stacked full. Looking around to attempt and find Johnatius you turn up short however, he's nowhere to be found among the crowds pouring in.

You decide to give it another go - Johnatius is after all the only reasonable person you've met so far, most of them seems to be like nikobar, big boring oafs.

A lumbering beast of a man rushes past you, and for a moment you loose vision of the crowd, however as soon as he passes you find yourself looking right at John(QM: I am shortening it, fuck it)

He raises a hand as he notice you, his sponge in his other, the cloth secured in his overall belt, smiling back, your hands preoccupied with the plate-tray you being heading over towards him.

Your belly grumbles, the entire room smells of the paste, and your hungry.. Still you do notice something peculiar while passing through the now rather crowded rooms, one table away from the two you are walking between - (dulled blue ones, with long benches that always seem to be to close to the table secured with bolts in the floor) if filled only with elderly men, usually your not one to notice such unnecessary things but its odd, most people eating around here are younger, from what you've gathered you are all destined for the schola in some way or another.

Behind you the crowds are bustling, and the heat in the local is slowly raising heralding a more severe heat to come from the multitude of bodies in such a tiny space, could be worse of course, you could be in the lower-dining hall next to the gellar fields.

Its beside the point, soon the crew would shut the area down to avoid over crowding and reroute passengers to other dining areas, you are pleased about not being tardy - the secondary dining areas are usually cold, and lack tables...

With a shrug you step up to John, pointing with your head to one of the nearby empty stretches of table, "So, join me for a spell?" you state, matter-of-factly - "I'd appreciate the company" He appears a bit taken back, stays silent for a moment before shrugging "What the grik, can't hurt? I am just making sure the servitors didn't miss anything anyway for a few hours yet"

The two of you find an empty stretch of table and sit down, Johnatius (much to your surprise) simply steps right over the table! Ignoring the dirt mark he made in it while doing so, allowing him to sit down opposite you, raising an eyebrow at your expression he states: "So, ye be one of em headin' towards the Schola, right?"

"Eh, what kind'o question be that? I've not got e lot o' choice on the matter do I?"

You take the time while eating to observe a nearby servitor work, ignoring the inquisitional stare your getting from John, he can wait - your enjoying your yellow paste.
The lumbering hulk of a machine appears to be slowly be moving down on of the rows, picking up trays and stray pieces of paste with equal efficiency - its almost hypnotic to see such a stoic singular purpose among the crowd of bustling people... "He's dead, mom is dead too, I was raised by my Uncle and Aunt." you state matter of factly - its not to much of a concern for you personally, you never knew them, for all intents and purposes they where your parents, and you loved them as such.

Taking a break in the conversation to chew more on some paste you quietly regret not getting anything to drink - its getting a bit stale and chewy despite its liquid nature.

While correcting your seat on the bench, eyes peering slightly downwards towards the checkered floor(Red and white plates covering the entire hall) you retort a question: "So tell me, what are you actually doing, working here I mean? Do you usually work down here?"

You decide to drop the subject of the planet - but making sure to add to memory that there might be a point to look into the primary cognitator later for more information on Besvir..

Still, a more pressing concern have been looming over you for a time now, lowering your head while stroking your neck slightly you make a gesture with your free hand over your chest (as to ensure no-one behind you can notice) towards the elderly men seated behind you.

"Who's that?"

John follows your hand gesture and a flash of recognition falls over his face "Ah, them? Well They'd be em' ye know.. erm.. whits the word... keepers?" Waving your spork in the air you casually remark to john: "You've got a very special accent you know that? Its very.. exotic"

John looks a bit taken back, scratching the back of his head.. ."Eh,, much'obligted.. I think?"

Still, these elderly men can wait for now, you've finished your food, and getting to the cognitator and read up a bit on the planet would no doubt be preferable - being prepared is a good thing after all. Indeed, you've found that ensuring you know what is up is always a good way to stay ahead of the curve...

"Hey Johnatius, your not doing anything here be honest, why don't you come with me and walk over to the cognitator room - its only like a fifteen minute walk away from here after all?"

You sneak up on the already powered cognitator, peering over its lush, green screen smiling slightly to yourself... turning around to John you give a quick series of hand gestures, to which he stands like the oaf he is.

Nearly face planting in disappointment you mouth "Sta-n-d g-a-ar-d" after a silly and rather drawn out moment he catches on, gives you a thumb up and begins to look around for the servitor...

Hoping that John is clever enough to keep things of your back you jump into the cushioned chair before the activate cognitator - hoping someone of higher rank then yourself had activated it.

You tell him that sure you'll wait, you'll be there once his shift ends (he quickly gives you the estimated chrono hour) In the meantime you muse, you'd better get your things in order - you've got about three hours or so - that ought to be enough, perhaps you'll even manage to get in some scrubbing in that time, you are somewhat sweaty.

Parting ways in the next junction of corridors you head towards the holding bay where your temporary "chambers" are located with a spring in your step - you've manage to get a hold of some interesting reading material after all, but you'd need to sit down and read it properly, humming on a old tune you set your mind on what to do for the next of the day, prepping for the trip and joining John with his servitor station work.

>>25328298
I'd wager we turn into Khorne after John friend-zone us and we turn man-haters
>>
>>25328298
Nonsense, there's none purer than Junior Commissar Otto Schulte. She's got a fangirl crush on the Big E.
>>
>>25328298
A slanneshi commissar who sings the glories of chaos to raise morale. All the while dancing on the battlefield a figure of such violence and bloodletting even Khornites would be jelly. Whose love for her men(once the Emperor) would make nurgle weep tears and whose plans(see reading materials) would confuse a tzeentch plotter.

...I would not mind that sort of change/fall.
>>
>>25322171
hard to tell, but the commissar has a boner
>>
>>25328483
Your bonersense is malfunctioning, he's clearly flaccid.
>>
>>25328478
Ehh, I wouldn't like it at all if we were to fall to Chaos, especially Slaanesh. It sounds just like a flimsy pretext for lesbian love affair, and those are boring.
>>
>>25328561
Why fall when we can be glorious pure Commissar that converts Slaanesh cultists back into the fold with amazing singing, only to later become a saint of song?
>>
>>25328328
Chaos undivided is still an option.
>>25328478
I have a feeling our love for our men would leave them on the receiving end of our "bolter"
>>
>>25328622
Nooo, falling to Chaos would be a trite plot twist.
>>
>>25328705
A bit overdone, indeed - but like all else its all depending on your choices - if you fuge up during the scholia for instance, we might all die before anything meningsfull happen.

If you charge at a ravning murder servitor I will kill you off.
>>
>>25328738
MC: charge at a raving murder servitor.
>>
Rolled 97

>>25328622
Only if they decide to run do they get to eat a bullet. We sing because we secretly enjoy what we tell everyone else however is we do it to keep morale up. Plus if they try to run then clearly I singing is very good and they need to pay(our excuse we tell others that their cowards).

>>25328705
If we ever fall to chaos is should be a big deal. Quite possibly one that happens slowly over a long period of time thus not necessarily instantly.
>>
>>25328780
Bolter was in quotations for a reason.
>>
>>25328156
>>25328082
No, I don't want these things. Lets not have these things. Lets be the one quest that doesn't go all romance stuff other quests do. Especially lesbians. Lets not do the lesbians thing this time.
>>
>>25332988
>Lets not do the lesbians thing this time.
we are playing a young female character going to a Schola run by the SoB, there is nothing but lesbiens times ahead

No. No ships. We dont need any ships. This is not a dock, and most certainly not a symmetrical one.

But we will be at a port soon! One that will take us to a place filled with white-pubed pussy.

I just imagined a trimmed Fleur for pubic hair

goddamnit i need new pants

You and I have no hopes anon. /tg/ craves their waifus. They shall not be hindered.
>>
>>25336851
Well, let's see what you got.

Why not?
>>
>>25336899
I'm pretty sure that that and shaved are the only permitted pubic hair styles.
>>25336851
Nope
>>
>>25336915
>Why not?
Because all that romance shit is so played out. It would be refreshing to not include it for once. Makes more sense for a commissar, too.
>>
>>25337149
Boone Quest seems to disagree.
>>
>>25337149
>romance

Romance, HAHAHAHAHA, you think romance will happen at the schola? please, it full of nothing but pious worship and lesbian rape
>>
>>25337174
You can't rape the willing
>>
>>25337160
Boone Quest is also filled with pop culture ripoffs like the fucking end boss to Mass Effect 2 and not exactly entirely faithful to 40K. I don't particularly care for it, either.
>>
>>25337160
Boone Quest is a pile of shit.
>>
>>25337149
Obviously you haven't read about many commissars.
>>25337174
I should hope not. Time to make a relationship, not rape. Unless you can make a relationship through rape... damn it, this isn't hentai. Rape leads to bad things.
>>
>>25337214
>>25337202
I never said my examples were any good...
>>
>>25337215
Quite, This is a quest about the life of a Commissar, you won't have much time for romance - at all, honestly if people are more interested in Waifu-thing feel free to search out a different quest.

That said, I won't veto against it - that is bad form, I will write what my players ask me to, but if you guys aim to get a hot SoB lesbo friend expect me to toss you a curve ball, or sixteen.

I am however, naturally fine with relationships if they are grown and make sense - none of my NPC's will bed you due to a smile and some cleavage, your a scary Commissar after all. Relationships don't have to imply romantic ones either, the Guard don't generally leave time for finding soul mates.

There is only war

Went to sleep, thread is still here woah

Your attitude is good. Your enthusiasm could use some lowering.

I'm sure there's a commissar or two out there that knows their way with the ladies.

>>

>>
>>25342508
No! /tg/ requires lesbosraum!

I'm actually neutral on the lesbian thing. Just wanted to make that pun.
>>
I'm beginning to think that this continued discussion is going on for longer than the actual thread.
>>
>>25343073
That's just because the quest isn't running right now, though. Rest assured, when the quest is in progress, /tg/ is all business.
>>
>>25343094
I was participating in the quest when it was active, I'm just intrigued that this thing hasn't fallen off the board

>>
>>25345107
If he does, he might want to delete this thread when his new one shows up.
