I was thinking of ways we could control de facto start controlling the world.

Power technology is a good idea, and the mutual defense assurance will Make sure Russia won't do much against us seeing as we took down several different nations militaries with incredibly low losses of life.

Also, going in the same vein, we should also be willing to offer medical assistance to all the countries inside of our block, with reduced help to countries outside of it. The one major flaw is that a lot of the covering of the core appears to be made of glass, so that you can see the reaction taking place. Replacing that with more heat resistant materials would make it less likely to overheat and destroy a ship

Missed the rest of the thread, but one question. What is the financial status of Norman Osbourne? We might be able to force a takeover of Oscorp. That would give us an in on their infrastructure for both research and manufacturing. Plus, we get their patents, copyrights, talent, and Oscorp is a profitable corporation which would add additional revenue to our coffers. If we can go through with that, we need to make sure that we keep Norman Osbourne at an arms length. He's batshit crazy, and we need all that lithium for our electronics, not keeping the Green Goblin stable for 3 months. If he's in jail we get to ignore him until he inevitably breaks out in 3 months.

Oh! And if we can take it over in a really novel way we could use it as the basis for our Nobel Prize in economics.

In addition to the Blizzard suit, get Xavier to forward us any info he has on the process by which Robert Drake generates his cold-field effects. It certainly can't hurt.

If worse comes to worse, see if we can establish a permanent portal inside each ship and run the coolant pipes through it to a secure location on Earth. Somewhere deep underground. The excess heat can be fed into a boiler to produce steam and turn a turbine, then the cooled water can be fed back through the portal. Get that 'waste' heat working for us as a supplemental power source. Hell, even instal a system like that onboard the ship if it's feasible. That should do for in-system use. Not sure if a ship with such a system would be able to stray too far from Earth. Or we could vent the heat onto Mars as part of the terraforming process, once we've established a respectable magnetosphere and atmosphere.
