The firm voice of the Demon Lord, Daiyu Jawahir, resonate in your mind like an echo as you reach the immobile chieftain whose pupils have disappeared, replaced by the charming spells or, what you can only guess to be, a strong hypnosis that has her seemingly out of control; the large phantasm handing over her body is leaking a strange red fume while its face, previously slightly goofy and disproportionate, shifted into a mad grin empty to teeth from where black liquids leaked constantly as it went along on its merry rampage, its long thins claws goring the worm time and again despite its total inefficiency as the reality was simple; the largest abomination was also the most efficient at regenerating itself.

You speak loudly, uncaring for the fact your companion is a voice in your head, Emeth position seem to be stable for the time being but that can only last so long…

The pumping Black Jade suddenly expand, previously it fitted neatly into your palm but now it grew around the size of a large apple in the blink of an eye, upon close expectation you notice that several holes start to appear, none of them close to your flesh they let out a strange black powder and then, you start hearing a melody.

Born from a strong instrument that you recognize as an organ, it start amazingly strong and invade the entirety of the room; all but dwarfing and overwhelming the plaints, screams and other sounds of warfare as Emeth continues her exploding kicks to the point that absolutely nothing else but the melody is heard in this enclosed world.

The ball literally crumple into dust as you start hearing the humming of Daiyu Jawahir, the precious jewel become gray dust and you are filled with a strong nausea that easily push you over the edge, you momentarily find yourself unable to resist throwing up an unhealthy black tar that, upon touching the soil, start to bubbles and fumes, of course you crawl back horrified upon seeing this and resist the psychosis of the strong, repeating melody.

For some reason the Beast is merry, you don’t bother asking it anything for you notice yet another thing of worry; you blade is unsheathed and you left it out of your palm in your momentarily panic, and it seem caught in some strange phenomenon; from the middle of the peerless white blade spread another, smaller pair of wings alongside the bigger ones on the guard, the light is so strong it project a strong aura that easily illuminate the area very much unlike the dying torches and broken alchemical lamps, not only that, but you feel a slight tingling sensation as smokes escape the right part of your face, but your astonishment doesn’t end there for the corruption you rejected somehow spread, resisting the great Holy and a stained hand emerge from the corruption, the skin a most beautiful pale color reminding you of pearls, you instinctively know who it is, after all, no one else could so enrapture mindless beasts for conflicts have momentarily ended.

…However, as the Beast laugh, you quickly come to a realization.

I've been thinking about something and have a theory: IIRC when Mother Earth and Siggy were discussing the time loops, she said that 1) the Demon Lord wasn't around in the previous ones; and 2) Siegfried would need her help to get his Good End of peace between monsters and humans.

Originally, I assumed that this meant that in the previous loops, the Demon Lord was killed by Siegfried and Co. but I no longer think this is the case. (cont)

There are some pieces of information supporting it. The Demon Lord said that she was hiding inside Yuria; she was a sleeper personality that would only be released from her self-imposed locks under very specific conditions. As such, it's very possible that the Demon Lord remained asleep within Yuria and her daughter was able to run rampant in the previous loops.

You aren’t sure what animate your limbs as you crawl forward to grab the Holy sword, the entire weapon glower magnificently in the purest white yet what you remember as gentle, inviting and warm now appear sharp and painful, the two set of wings deployed fills you with uncharacteristic dread but not exactly for yourself, in fact for some reason you fear that something may befall the beautiful Demon Lord and a part of you, larger than you suspected, will not allow it.

You reach your right hand to the glowing pommel, the black tar escaping you skin sizzle and cook under the light yet enough remain to stain the white metal, somehow though, pain is absent and thus, without hesitation you aim for you scabbard and interrupt the blade ritual only… to stop midway by a guttural grunt coming from deep within you, and of course, only heard by your person.

However from the growing puddle, a small shades jump out in a flash and you have but half a second to identify its foggy silhouette that is suspiciously small and grabbing a polearm, that’s the only thing you can identify before it lunge toward the nearest abominations and start relieving your bodyguard of some pressures, the act seemingly cause a reawakening of hostility amidst your hypnotized foes as the first struck cry out in anguish and die, at least temporarily.

Battle might be joined behind you, but to your front, the Demon Lord emerge from the corruption; her entire self is stained black from head to toe, the glue-like substance sticking to her clothes and hairs which in turn, cling to hourglass features, fueling your animalistic instincts as she pull herself out of the corrupted portal, it’s certainly not as elegant as what Tsukiyomi and Ame-no-Uzume created.

Here stand Daiyu Jawahir before you, gone is the gentle demure attitude that almost sent you wild during your first encounter; here float a tall, magnificently dangerous succubus who slowly lifts her arms beside her, taking the position of spirited bishops and prophets and as you peer into her brilliant emerald eyes, ink spread inside as she witness the carnage of her subordinate and Emeth, turning both of her orb into her namesake; a set if black jades.

The wings at her hips and head suddenly start flapping, her entire body seems filled with some kind of pinkish aura as her words rip apart the very fabric of reality; you hear some moans of pains and escaped languished breathing as the closest wretches falls, vomiting tar.

A series of grunts and plaints coming from your front finally make its way past the diminishing music, the Oni chieftain seems to have grown quiet with the arrival of the Demon Lord while her mother… the worm was still constricting her, but the entirety of its large body was caught in various trembling that you think might be nervous twitch and mayhap fear, when you cross eyes with its blue foggy pearls many images forcefully flash into your mind; each of them depict the beautiful woman beside you in act of wanton slaughter with an eerie smile.

While grave and certainly unnerving, you can’t help this hunch that the demon looks strained and forced.

Daiyu rubs her hands together and try to clean as much residual corruption as she can while walking to the small family that, you realize, is actually kept immobile but her magic; that strange gravitational spell seems to be enough to force both of them into temporary submission.

The memory push you to look at your arms where your glowing veins have changed in color slightly, the previously ocean glowing blue has changed into a more purplish one; this is the only indicator that you are approaching the end of your ropes, you feel relatively fine despite the never ending casting.

You expected some kind of theatrics, as the girl put in the Demon Lord enjoys it, but there’s nothing else. Amarantha trashes around while the specter above her putter out and disappear, you notice however that Daiyu complexion pales by the seconds and then, as if she just touched something boiling, she literally jump away from the young girl, both of them taking in huge gulp of airs; Amarantha eyes are free of induced madness and rages, causing the worm to coil around her more deeply in a show of protection and affection.

‘’It’ like pulling teeth aint it?’’

The Baphomet speak up to her friend who… falls to her knees, put her hands on her mouth and cough violently, letting out a very worrying amount of blood.
