You are Doctor Victor Von Doom, Ruler of Latveria, Rightful king of the world, Master wizard and genius scientist.

You are stood on the bridge of your currently unnamed dreadnought with Charles Xavier. The Shi'ar are approaching earth

Your armies stand at:
90,000 Servo-Guards
100 Doombots
100 Doomknights
1600 Silent stalkers
100 Time bots
1 Battle CDC

Your navy consists of
40 Troop transports
20 Cruisers
5 Carriers
5 Battleships
1 Dreadnought

Finances stand at $6 billion dollars.
You have also received a grant of $10 billion to construct additional ships
Your new currency seems to be on the rise, being worth around $4.93 to one Latverian Victor. You may want to print more
In addition, you own a controlling percentage in Porsche and Mercedes Benz
There is also $7 million you aquired from the fantastic 4 as damages to my person. This too, is at your disposal
The colonies on Mars are thriving. The atlantean habitats are complete, and the mutants homes are now completed. Magneto has moved his people there, and people are settling into a routine

Current allies are Molecule Man, Laura Kinney, Morgana le Fey, Otto Octavius, Deadpool and Magneto. Namor is also your friend, but does not respond well to orders.

You have several goals, including:
Rescue mother from Mephisto
Defeat Reed Richards and friends
Take over the world
Establish other interplanetary mining colonies

Short term goals include:
Deal with Shi'ar

How would you like to proceed, Lord Doom?

Sorry for being late

Call them. Have they noticed our ship yet?
>>

Heh, they are probably suprised to see a fleet here
>>
>>25034174
Bring Xavier to the communications station. Hail the Shi'Ar.

Have navigation and sensors track their trajectory. Hat should point us towards the wormhole we've been looking for. It'll at least trim down the area we're having Richards search.

Have weapons reduced to half power. We don't want to appear too hostile. Shields to full, naturally. Disable any jamming equipment or anything that may cause interference. Let's be diplomatic about this.

>>25034491
It's defending Earth, it's Earth's only space-based line of defense. Latveria is an Earth nation. It's close enough to the truth. And the fruit/animal thing is standard birder patrol stuff, limiting exotic or invasive species contamination.
>>
>>25034554
Expediency would be pleasant. I have little desire to be in this dire end of the galaxy. The Shi'ar have a gift for the people of earth. Please direct us to a place where this can be delivered, and we shall be away"
>>
>>25034614
Specify; what manner of gift is it you are delivering and why?
>>
>>25034614
"Very well. You may leave this gift at our system intake facility at Europa."

If we make them drop it off at the Europa Base, we can have the UN hash out where it should go, we can get first look at whatever it is, and if it's dangerous it won't endanger Earth.
>>
>>25034614
"I'm sorry, but due to a heightened state of alert, we are limiting foreign visits to Earth itself. Skrull infiltrators have been detected and neutralized on Earth but we are still conducting security sweeps to ensure there are no stragglers. If you can deliver the gift to our secure facility on the second moon of Mars, the fourth planet from our local star, we will gladly deliver it to Earth once the Skrull threat has passed."
>>
>>25034666
>>25034682
>>25034689
Very well. Give us co-ordinates and we shall teleport it there now

It's a selection of useful materials for your coming war with the skrulls. Whilst we cannot be directly involved, it was deemed necessary to support you to stop the skrull empire expanding.

If that is all, I believe our business is concluded
>>
Scan the people that we saved from the Skrulls in the last thread, I don't want to be tricked into letting them takeover for actual humans.
>>
>>25034747
"Yes."

Track their ship, see where exactly the wormhole is located.

Have a dozen Doombots begin going through the materials and uploading them for our later perusal.
>>
>>25034747
"I thank you for your generosity. Please allow me to respond in kind. I am forwarding you the basic designs for the scanners we use to bypass Skrull shapeshifting and detect their presence. I don't know if you possess similar technology, but knowledge of their function could be valuable in refining your own techniques"--we can't make ourselves look too weak in front of our neighbors, and technology freely shared is both a show of intellectual strength, and a show of gratitude to offset future claims of debt.

Port them to the Mars or Europa base, hermetically sealed storage. Go over them with every biological, nanotech, and security scan we have to ensure nothing is a trap. We don't want an alien super-virus or biological weapon getting loose. Once they're cleared, hand them over to SWORD. Let them get yelled at by the UN about how to distribute the materials.
>>
>>25034872
I don't think we should hand out our Skrull detection technology like that. It just might end up in Skrull hands, and that would be bad for us.
>>
>>25034872
Hmm, most kind. I hope it shall be of use. Farewell

>>25034798

Of course, sir. They were all human. I don't think that they expected an attack, and had no time to prepare

>>25034814
"Seems you didn't need me after all, Victor. Though if you could be so kind as to bring documentation of these gifts to our next meeting, I'm sure that everyone would be most grateful. It's going to be in Athens. I believe. I'll send you a more accurate address later"

After a thorough scan, there are no biological weapons, though regardless robots are sent in
Inside is, in no particular order:
4 tonnes of Adamantium
Several billion dollars worth of raw materials
Blueprints for some kind of advanced energy weapon
>>
>>25034933
>4 tonnes of Adamantium
Let's bind it all to the bones of a surly canadian mutant drunk who was born in the 1800s.

>>
>>25034933

Make a copy for ourselves, and begin researching it.

Also send a message to SWORD, the Secretary-General, and the UN Security Council that the Shi'ar Empire has sent a small bit of aid, under the table, so to speak, to help us check Skrull expansionism.
That the materials will be made available to SWORD.

Not true, all potential futures shown where wolverine didn't die in combat he lives to a retardedly old age. Infact I believe he's the only one the bonding works on because his healing factor constantly cleans and purges his blood as well as creating new blood cells.
Without the adamantium, didn't his healing factor freak out and make him bleed from eveywhere for awhile, which is a drawback if Laura gets bonded then the adamantium is removed.
>>
>>25035671
I thought we were openly doing this one as ourselves and starting our own line. And maybe licensing the guy who dose super suites mentioned last thread to do custom work. While giving him what he needs to not mess up the magic when he customizes things.

IIRC during the ark where he had no adimantium it was discussed that his adimantium was causing him some issues that the healing factor cleaned up in short order but that the break was good for his health.

Here the anon that post the idea for clothing. I would say that we should begin the first prototypes before we acquaire a companie. I we are capable of producing this in an industrial scale, the clothing brand should be used as a plataform to make public the benefits of the ArcanTech. Once we have the public interest, THEN, we take the industry by surprise... with this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_GINA
We already own Mercedes Benz and Porsche, and the lack of metallic chassis means lighter cars, which means we could start producing them with first generation Octaviu's Reactors instead of the old and dirty internal combustion engines. The introduction of an elegant, affordable and efficient car will most likely be a success in modern ecologycal Germany, the birth place of one of our companies.
The textile and automotive industries shall provide, like they did in the past, the means for a new glorius Industrial Revolution! SO SAIS DOOM!
... Rigth after we dispose of these shapeshifting Cockroaches
>>
>>25036012
But Vibranium is superior to our needs because it amplifies magic power; we have a large quantity of the Anti-Metal Vibranium, and Molecule Man was attempting to find a way to convert it to Wakandan Vibranium, which has superior magic amplification capability.

Also, we are not stealing from the UN; the Adamantium, while useful, is still something we can just buy from Adamantco in New Jersey.
And the weapon schematics are to be distributed to all members of the United Nations Security Council, with further dissemination up to the Council.
>>
>>25036165
I have one concern with the RuneClothing idea: what do we do about magical security systems and dispel wards?
With LITT bringing legitimacy to magic, governments, companies, and individuals will want to be warded in order to protect themselves from magic-using villains that traditionally were not defended against.
Morgana already spoke about the problem of dispelling wards, while being the superior magical defense system, also dispelling useful glamours and charms that the professors of LITT use on their persons.
>>
You dress finely, and head over to the school. Morgana is marking papers in her office when you walk in
"If you submit a paper late you can only get a mark of 40%-Oh it's you. Come to whisk me away?"
You open a portal to the other portal at the side of lake Doom. A table has been laid out, with candles and wine. Behind you are the 3 floating gardens. Unforunately you don't get the full effect from below, but it's still somewhat inspiring
"Why is there a large amount of floating dirt over there?"

>>25036239
Just a suggestion, sir, but enchanting the clothing seems to render it immune to dispel effects, such as Dr. strange's famed cloak
>>25036071
He made your one, sir. Presumably he made himself one also
>>
>>25036165
that was the plan though we may want to consult Mr Zelinsky on the fashion side he is the best at his job. We also want him to be able to alter them so we should have his input on those needs.

>>25036189
exactly i am honestly more interested in the eternal heat drums the adimantium comes in.

>>25036239
It will just raise awareness that blanket dispelling protection is inconsiderate and tactically suboptimal.
>>
>>25036165
>we could start producing them with first generation Octaviu's Reactors
Actually, we were pushing Octavius towards big reactors that could be used in our larger space ships.
Perhaps using Latverian manufactured micro-fusion cells would be better, or quick-charge supercapacitors, with Octavian Reactors replacing coal and gas power plants for generating clean energy while being possible to defend easily.
>>
>>25036276
>"Why is there a large amount of floating dirt over there?"
"You have heard of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? DOOM has created the Floating Gardens of Latveria. It is far more impressive from inside."
>>
>>25036239
Could we make the clothing damagable in anti-magic fields, but upon exiting immediately mends itself? I assume the runes will be in the fiber themselves, so dispelling magic will only temporarily negate the spells, not render the wearer naked.

Of course, I am no magical expert. If entering a warded zone would destroy the suits' functions or set off multiple alarms, we may have to reconsider this.
>>
>>25036276
>Why is there a large amount of floating dirt over there?"

>Could we make the clothing damagable in anti-magic fields, but upon exiting immediately mends itself? I assume the runes will be in the fiber themselves, so dispelling magic will only temporarily negate the spells, not render the wearer naked.
If i understand you correctly that is the default effect the magic is interrupted by antimagic effects but resumes when removed from them.

>Of course, I am no magical expert. If entering a warded zone would destroy the suits' functions or set off multiple alarms, we may have to reconsider this
No more than a mettle belt buckle or steal toed boots at a mettle detector.
>>
"Since I haven't eaten in 2 days due to all the marking, food. Unless there's some up there too. What is there?"

>>25036281
It isn't eternal, sir. I believe that you must add a certain chemical once every 2 weeks to continue the reaction, some of which has been provided

>>25036375
It depends on the level of enchantment you wish to bestow on the outfit, sir. If it makes the wearer capable of casting cleaning spells on themselves, that wouldn't work after a dispel. Making it so that the outfit constantly remains clean would be more difficult, but would persist. it would smell slightly like Ozone, too
>>
>>25036413
"That can be arranged."
Cast a teleport sphere spell that will teleport ourselves, Morgana, and the table of food into the garden. Preferably high up so that the garden is laid out before us.

"Allow her to let it be a surprise party. She is a good friend of my god-daughter, one of the few that she considers a friend, and so DOOM grants her this indulgence."

>I'll have a prototype made in the interim, sir.
Lets create a simple bluprint than lets the monks modified it in whatever way they see fit to work
>>
>>25037457
"Alright. Hopefully I didn't ruin the surprise. I could make you forget, I suppose. It's also customary to be given presents on your birthday, correct? What do you desire?"

>>25037566
As you say, sir. I'll acquire the co-ordinates from the monk at the school
>>
>>25037542
Guess the barrel could be solid adamantium I suppose

"Your assistance, a favor, in the future."
We can get her help and Strange's when we go to free our mother from Mephisto.

How about something practical, like a book to teach us a type of magic we don't know. She did that with scrying, after all.

>I could make you forget
Doom doubts that. But if anyone could you would be she.
But Lucia told me already I shall fain surprise.

>>25037723
that is our greatest personal desire one of these forms of request is fine. Unless she wants to know more then tell her.

"Easily done. Unless the favor requires something remarkably degrading, I'll do it. Now, I think I'll have to finish reading through essays on something incredibly dull. Will you walk, or teleport me home?"

>>
>>25037640

I don't think it'll be a problem.
>>
>>25038021
Not necessarily; some people have their tabletop games on the weekends, you know.
>>
>>25038006
If you are referring to the low traffic in the thread, that's most likely because /tg/ isn't usually very active on weekend, also what that anon say >>25038040

>>25037994
>Tribunal of Justice
>LSS King von Doom
I like these
>>
>>25038085
I think he/she was worried about the arguments last thread
But then again, they asked about the ship names again, so who knows?
>>
>>25038085
>LSS King Doom
Is the best IMO.

I know Doom wouldn't like Gipsy Danger
and have no idea how he would feel about The Romany Victor as a Rom

Dagger of Doom & Wrath of doom are also ok

I dont like any of the others
>>
>>25038597

>>25038229
