You are special agent Anon and you are currently chasing someone down for taking your picture. You were sitting on a swingset in some neihborhood after dark and taking your sister home to your parents house and meeting Shimabuku in the real world, when you heard a shutter on a cellphone go off and someone run, so you started chasing them without a second thought. The chase does not last long. While you do primarily run on coffee you are also one of the most physically fit in the agency, with Haruko barely being able to beat you in a stand up fight. You manage to catch up to the person and grap their wrist tightly, stopping them in their tracks.

"Like, ow! Spaz, what's your problem!" A girl's voice calls out, giving you a chance to finally get a good look at her.

She is still wearing her school uniform, despite it being the middle of the night and way too late for anyone to be out and about. She has several bracelets on and a few rings. You can make out the faint outline of a tattoo on her outer thigh, though with her skirt so short it could be the bottom of a back tattoo. Her nails are long and covered in some sort of nail art, and her hair is bleached. She has several piercings that you can see, and you suspect more you can not. She smells faintly of perfume, booze, and sex.

You try to focus on the origin of the headaches, that familiar place you know there is an asshole of an imaginary friend lurking in wait, but you can not feel him. You continue to try and focus more and more on it but get nothing in response. You look back at the men and decide to just go with it. You take up the basic stance Haruko taught you, stance forward, elbows in, and face your enemies.

The man with the knife charges in first, faster than you thought he swings down with his knife, but you just manage to get your arm up in time to stop it. You throw out a low kick aiming at his knees and are rewarded with the sound of a sickening crack. The large man's body begins falling to the side and before he hits the ground you deliver a staggering punch directly to his throat.

You decide since you promised Haruko to keep her more in the loop you should call her up and get some help. You dial her number and get an answer after three rings.

"Anon? Sup? What time is it?" She asks sleepily, evidently you just woke her up.

In the game series, it was shown that AIDA infections weren't the healthiest thing for a person's psyche. You know how MANIA acted before we beat her in the arena? That's actually on the middle/lower middle scale of AIDA-induced, uh, mania. Others were known to turn real violent, megalomaniac, and/or have their deepest regrets/fears/insecurities bubble up to take control of their personality. Theoretically, there is a possibility of going full Sheogorath from AIDA exposure, but that is a remote chance at best.

You send a mental command to snark and a quick PM to the other to get ready to make a break for it, telling MANIA to grab Areta when you guys get a chance. "He's... odd. So Raum's family has some power, eh?" You ask making him shake his head.

"Tit for tat ch-" He starts

"Yer a tit" Snark counters before holding up his arm and firing several of those small needles he uses and letting them burrow into the beasts and Hamelin.

"RUN AWAY!" You shout while MANIA grabs the girl and pulls her along. You make your way to the chaos gate and punch in the last warp zone.

You are now in Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground.

You run into the church and grab a seat. You notice MANIA is still holding tightly to the girl's wrist and Snark seems to have hidden himself.

"What just happened?" Areta asks, her facade of lust vanishing.

"We are fun dates." MANIA explains.

"The best really. I could use a cigarette after that." Lotus adds on making MANIA tilt her head at her.

"I want to put a cigarette out on your chest." She returns making Lotus stare at her.

"The fuck's wrong with you lady?" Lotus asks clearly finding it difficult to deal with MANIA

"I would have to say it was probably not there to begin with. It was hard for me to notice since I hadn't really infected anyone else, but when I compare you to what I remember from Innis, and what I put in Mania it seems to fit together. Yes chen, I fill your hole. Pervert." He explains.

"So she has an epitaph?" You ask causing him to nod.

"Yeah, there is one in there alright. It gives some level of protection against AIDA so she isn't going batshit yet." He explains as he pics at his ears.

He stares behind the girl and seems deep in thought.

"The... the fuck? Epitaphs? AIDA? I just wanted to make some quick cash! Damn it I-" She starts but stops when you hear a single note, an A you believe, fill the room.

Behind the woman, on the altar, there floats in a blue point of light which, upon touching the alter itself, explodes and fills the room in a wave of azure flame. It extinguishes almost immediately, and standing there is a man in a patched together outfit, carrying a pair of triple bladed daggers. He looks around the room and lets out a shrill, raspy moan.

"Oh, that's what that noise was." Snark comments idly.

I plan on making the timeline extend further. I honestly thought people would have told me I sucked and just tell me to drop the quest, which is why the pace is slightly fast. Keep in mind game wise we would still be on the first disk.

A guild would get you a private base, a way of connecting with more members, give you a guild shop for more cash, a steam bike, more quests, and lets you participate in a sort of guild war type thing, plus quests

The first games happened more or less as shown, but the nature of Auras birth was a little different and it caused some changes. Kite still rocked though. As for Haseo and endrance, all I can say is they do not exist as imagined.
