It's time for more of your favorite superhero!

You are Doctor Victor Von Doom, Ruler of Latveria, Rightful king of the world, Master wizard and genius scientist.

You have received Mail! A message from Blackbolt has made it's way to earth!

There are more Teaching candidates for your approval

You are currently in Castle Doomstadt. Valeria Richards is en route, followed by Storm and Grimm. Oleg reports Richards and Susan engaging in a marital dispute. Morgan is carving a throne.

Demensthes industries has opened in England, and has begun production of sparring robots

Currently, you control 100 Doombots, lifelike automata of yourself, 75000 servo-guards, robots superior to a modern day soldier, and 100 time-bots, robots with experimental time based weaponry.
In addition, you have constructed 100 Doomknights, More combat oriented variants of the Doombot, with superior weapons capabilities, and 100 silent stalkers, Stealth Robots designed for assassination
You also control the "Battle CDC" a 100m tall doombot that houses 80 scientists working on cures for diseases.
You are also assisted by 3 Latverian vampires, equipped in armour similar to your own
Furthermore, you control one Doombot converted to act like Mr Rogers, to entertain the children on your media network. More can be constructed from your worldwide network of Foundries

You have several goals, including:
Rescue mother from Mephisto
Defeat Reed Richards and friends
Take over the world
Steal Vibranium from Wakanda
Establish other interplanetary mining colonies
Establish further Broship with Namor

Short term goals include
Deal with the Richards situation
Open school
Attend Atlantean tournament

I have also collected all of the flavors of Fanta. You may wish to present this gift to Ms le Fey

How would you like to proceed, Lord Doom?
>>
>>24530468
First, read the letter from Blackbolt.
Second, let's go over the teaching candidates.
Finally, status report on Valeria's approaching craft.

Yes, sir.

Dear Doom

I am afraid I must decline your offer to move to mars. My people have become quite comfortable here, despite our difficulties. Though trading may be possible between us in the future, Mars would be nothing but a difficult change of scenery for us

All the best, Black Bolt

I have found a Chinese Geomancer. He was difficult to locate, and I lost a hand to a yeti, but on the upside, you have a new Yeti skin cape in your room

I have also found a tibetan monk who specialises in astral magic. He wishes to take on an apprentice, so I convinced him that the school would be an excellent place to find one

Valeria is 30 minutes away, and her Uncle and Grimm are 2 hours away
>>
Glory to Latravia!
Nothing more nothing less
>>
>>24530750
Excellent two more mages for our school, when Valeria gets here ask her in (fake) surprise wjat she is doing here, also i think we shpuld actually revise the idea of le fay being headmistress as it would be a (imternational) pr nightmare if a unrehabilatated Villan was running OUR school for us
>>
>>24530750
>Valeria
Wait until her craft penetrates Latverian airspace, then open a comm channel to her craft, with the standard "Please identify yourself and a flight plan", then instructions to land at the castle's helipads.

Do the same for Storm and Grimm.

>Black Bolt
"Dear Black Bolt,

It is a shame that we could not come to an accord. However, I appreciate the open offer of trade, and hope to have something of value to offer.

Yours truly, Dr. Victor von Doom"

>Geomancer
Have a Doombot welcome him and servants show him to his quarters at LITT.
>tibetan monk
His terms are agreeable.
>>
>>24530750
>Chinese Geomancer
aproved and good work on the cape

>tibetan monk
As long as he will continue his general teaching for a reasonable period after finding an apprentice this is very good. If not look a little more before we commit to someone who will bail on us.

>Valeria
prepare for her arrival we shall have to tell her that running from her parents is upsetting for them. They are doing what they think best even if her Father is foolishly wrong
>>
>>24530838
Meh, the statute of limitations has run out by now.
>>24530750
send a routine request for a flight plan to Grim and her uncle.
>>
>>24530838
>would be a (imternational) pr nightmare if a unrehabilatated Villan was running OUR school for us
Is she? I assume the world doesn't have an issue with her. If not we may need to get on a pr campaign to boost her image as well.
>>
>>24530882

>>24530882
I have sent your message, sir. I shall inform you of a response

>>24530897
Their Quarters are being found. The monk did not much luggage at any rate

She will arrive in 10 minutes. Is there anything you would like to prepare?
>>
>>24530750
Begin work on a doomdoor to the baxter building so we can sit down with sue and valeria for the 2 hours it will take Richards to get to the castle.

Also send a return letter to Black Bolt asking for the presence of his representative not for his own colony, but as a neutral third party aware of the rigors of extra-terrestrial living. Make it clear that we only want his guidance and advice for Magneto and Xavier's benefit, not our own. They may soon face the same difficulties Black Bolt's ancestors faced when they sequestered themselves from humanity. Beings if great power stepping out to forge their own culture and kingdom. Their inhuman cousins have a unique perspective that should be shared.
>>
>>24531006
>Valeria in 10 minutes
No extra preparations. We will meet them personally, of course.
>>
>>24530947
Even so She is a notorious British Villaness.

>>24530938
That would work to im not to sure on the finer details though.
>>
>>24530947
Eh, she's an old English legend. So basically, the UK might get a bit frisky but probably wouldn't care that much after being reassured that everyone she dislikes in their country has been dead for 700 years or so.
>>
>>24531006
forgot the name again

>Begin work on a doomdoor to the baxter building so we can sit down with sue and valeria for the 2 hours it will take Richards to get to the castle.
No RITCHERDS is there grim and STORM are2 hours from us.
>>
>>24531050
But she's a myth. This is the medeival laFey that we brought to Now with a time machine. Nothing she has done is still a valid crime as no government from that time still exists, and you can't punish people for things they haven't done yet.

A ship breaches Latverian airspace. The automated landing request heads out, and valeria, sounding distressed fills in the information required. She lands near your castle, and rushes inside to see you.

"Uncle Doom, they were going to destroy Mr Robot! I brought his head, can you give him a new body?"

>>24531050
True, but most believe her to be a myth
>>
>>24531161
"Of course, Valeria.
"Lucia, prepare one of the spare Doombots for a memory core and central processor transfer.
"But where are your parents? Surely you didn't come alone?
"Did you run out of the tower without telling anyone, young lady?"

How far away are Storm and Grimm? It would be best if they were here as we lecture Valeria on not going to places without telling anyone.
>>
>>24531161
"Of course my dear Valeria Mr Robot can have a brand new body, come along your mother will be here soon......"
>>
>>24531220
At once, sir
"Uhh, Yeah. I snuck out while they were arguing. I'm not in trouble, am I?"

An hour and a half. You could of course return her to them
>>
>>24531161
"Certainly Valeria, however it will do little good if your parents simply destroy it again."
A compromise might be in order. Maybe she can keep the robot if Tony Stark will replace the suit she currently has? He may not be DOOM but he is at least semi competent.
>>
>>24531220
Im guessing they are somewhere between 1 hoir and an hour 1/2
>>
>>24531259
Perhaps he could be convinced to check the suit to confirm the lack of traps inside.
>>
>>24531259
Screw stark lets get hank pym to make on...... You know what never mind
>>
>>24531252
Have Storm and Grimm entered Latverian airspace yet? If they have, then we can tell them that Valeria is at our castle and that they should pick her up there.
>>
>>24531259
I would not trust Stark with designing a toilet, let alone something to protect Valeria. She will keep her armor. We will give Susan, not Richards, a special communicator that can not be filtered out or turned off so she can't hide from her mother.
>>
>>24531302
OOC: How do you sell this so well, DM? You act like you actually are Lucia Von Bardas. I don't think I've ever seen someone do it so amazingly.

>>
>>24531373

>>
>>24531451
Yeah, go for it. Wait for the others to arrive
>>
>>24531569

Very well

In an hour, they enter Latverian airspace. Despite ignoring landing hails, you mercifully allow them to live, and they land in your helipad

A minute or two later, the large doors to your throne room is kicked open, and Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm run up to you

"Where is she, Doom? What did ya do to her"

"If you don't give her back, something's gonna be set on fire"
>>
>>24531641
Now now, hothead, Grimm, she's just in the game room. Calm down. She came on her own, something about her parents fighting with each other made her scared.
>>
>>24531669
(thinking O my god how has my life become a soap opera?) yes say and think this.
>>
>>24531669
"She'd better be fine or I swear I'm gonna-"

"I'm fine, uncle Johnny. I came over since I didn't want Mr Robot to be killed"

"Killed? It's a doombot! It's dangerous!"

"No it isn't, Uncle Doom took all the weapons out, didn't you!"

"Uncle Doom?"
>>
>>24531641
"I gave her a key to the Castle so she doesn't have to knock, let her play in the game room, and arranged transport back to the Baxter Building for her. I really don't see why you automatically assume she's a prisoner. The DoomDoor should be ready soon. Until then, please speak with Valeria calmly and rationally. Upsetting her further will only push her away. She needs cheering up right now. Once she's comfortable, I suggest sitting down and listening to her concerns. I think she feels that her parents are disrespecting her and ignoring her input. She came to me because I engage her mind while indulging her. Once she is ready to go home on her own terms, and to apologize for running away without telling anyone, I will open a portal to the Baxter Building for you all."
>>
>>24531779
Of course I did (We did, right?), honey. I wouldn't want something that could injure my goddaughter anywhere near her...unlike Richards, the madman.

Apologize later to Valeria for treating her like she's an incompetent idiot and tell her we just wanted to defuse her uncles.
>>
>>24531641
Sigh at the damage.
"She is in the Game Room. Lucia, bring Valeria here.
"Really, Grimm, you could have just knocked."
>>
>>24531641
Why don't we alter her DNA to have ours instead of Richards? Then we could get visiting rights
>>
>>24531669
come on, that's blatantly lying.
Just say she ran away because they threatened Mr Robot.
>>
>>24531779
"Yes Benjamin grimm an Uncle is it so hard for you to conceive that Valeria could think of me as just that, and yes before you ask that doombot is there soley for her protection and Companionship and yes before you ask I removed all the weaponry from the Doombot."
>>
>>24531881
Because then we'd have to pay child support
>>
>>24531890
Well, really, it isn't lying at all. Her parents do fight ...and she did come on her own. We may have helped, but she did it all herself.
>>
>>24531779
"Just like the armor I gave her. I doubled the force field generators and other protective systems. To do that, I removed all offensive weapons. Valeria will be perfectly safe at all times. I've even given her free reign to modify and reprogram 'Mister Robot' as she sees fit. It is as safe as It can be."

"No."

To be honest, the suggestion of making a DoomPortal the Baxter Building was stupid. That poster should be ashamed of themselves.

"Now, if your business is done, you may leave. And next time, file a flight plan, and Knock first. "
>>
>>24532102
"Her name is Lucia, Valerie. She's my assistant. 'Aunt Morgan is Morgan LaFey, the same one from the King Arthur legends. She has agreed to teach at my new school. And if you have a problem with the portal, then I shall construct it to take us to Mars, and to the Baxter Building from there. It makes little difference.
>>
>>24532176
Yes I agree it was kind of silly prehaps in the Latravian embassy or that idea someone posted about a Doo portalhub in times square or something regardless we should repair Mr robot and return him to valeria before seeing to those sorcerors (maybe bring Morgana?)
>>
>>24532114
implying he wouldn't' get into a shouting match, and win.

agree but one of the Doom portals hubs would be in new york ideal only a short walk from the Baxter Building hell make it the extension of the Latvarial portal network, and all doom hubs in other countries just invest hugely into security and style. how is the portal network project coming along?
>>
>>24532257

>>
>>24532301
It is specifically to tweak Richards, remind him that he is safe because we say so, and to make Val happy with the thought of easy access to us. The fact that Richards will object is INTENTIONAL so that it drives another wedge between him and Val. It also rubs Reed's nose in the fact that we can do things he can't.
>>
why not make the portal only usable to Valeria? That way the Baxter Building is still secure from us?
>>
>>24532275
>>24532286
Latverian embassy or an international airport is one thing, but a portal hub with international range, right in the middle of a highly trafficked area, with no method of containment better than a subway station?
No nation on Earth would be foolish enough to allow such a thing.

Yes, I apologise, I mistyped.
You offer them a choice between the room in Doomstadt Rathauz or the colony you have already constructed. Magneto expresses great interest, but Xavier cites safety concerns. You assure him that nothing would happen to him, and he agrees, though is clearly worried

You escort both to your portal, which draws some concern that you abate by walking through yourself first
You arrive in the conference room in the town hall on mars, providing an excellent view of the colony you have built.

Though Wolverine and Storm both express that it may be a bad idea, they are waved off by Xavier. Wolverine takes the beer from the buffet table I have prepared

Magneto brings over a few sandwiches and sits at the table

"Well, this certainly is a lovely place, Victor, but why are you offering this to us? I've never known you for a man to share"

Yes I would be willing to cede a portion of my territorial clams to aid your indevers for a peaceful solution to the issues your people are facing. For practical reasons such as transport I suggest that your portions remain as independent Latverian protectorates but i am open to discussion on that point. Also Black Bolt has agreed to open trade with my indevors on mars and i believe that would extend to you as well even if you desire full sovereignty.

"I have been...re-examining my life of late. I have found a new resolve to not just leave my mark on history, but to leave the world a better place for it.
"This is but one of my new attempts to make a better future. One that I hope you will be a part of."
>>
>>24533559
"Despite what narrow minded fools like RICHARDS would have you think, Doom is merciful. And more motivated recently. I have but a single goal. To ensure humanity leaves its mark on the galaxy, and not be wiped out like a gnat in the face of empires such as the Skrulls. I want our race to advance, to take their place in this universe. Some say Mutants are the next step in human evolution. Attempting to cull this evolutionary is unacceptable. The Avengers, pitiful weaklings who can scarcely be called "heroes", sit back and watch as atrocities are committed to humans. Do you want to live on the same planet as those who sat back and watched Genosha, then claimed they did all they could? Doom offers an alternative. A separate planet. And with myself overseeing the defenses, you can be assured that those fools from SHIELD or the US government will be unable to oppress your people.
A paradise, for man and mutant alike, living in harmony. You would be free to go to and from Earth, if you wished. If you accept my Doom guarantees that as long as he remains in power, no man will attempt to stop the advancement of the Human race."

"Doom offers peace, an end to fighting, an secure future for all mutants. Do you accept it?"
>>
>>24533690
This since we need to convince them that: A: we are "Repenting" our evil ways or
B: we are quite litreally finding a better way to leave our make on the world while driving Richards insane

>>24533672

"Interesting. I am touched by your concern, Victor. Facing facts, Genosha is gone, and mutants are under threat every day. Threats that would be lessened here, in a place amongst their own. A new planet, a new people, a new beginning. A Latverian protectorate though..."

"Being a latverian protectorate may come in useful on a foreign planet, Max. How much would these colonies be capable of holding, and would we have immediate access to earth, should we need it?"

As many as needed, and yes, all domes have many portals in case of emergency

"When would this be ready then? We are busy men, after all"

Whenever you need it to be

"Better and better. I believe I will still need some time to consider this. Max, on the other hand, seems positively enthused"

"Of course I am, Charles. This is a most generous offer. I shall accept, and I will find those who will come. You have my word that we will follow your rules."
>>
>>24533974
You keep dropping dat trip.
Thank Magnus, reassure Charles that he can have all of the time he needs.
Start drawing up plans with Curley Mustache about what he wants and would be needed in a Mutant utopia.
>>
>>24533974
"Then I, Victor von Doom, sovereign lord of Latveria, hereby swear to protect and nurture this endeavor of our peoples, for a better tomorrow."

We shall begin the creation of the necessary DoomPortals immediately.
Also, have the Latverian Space Mining program begin construction of a shipyard in the asteroid belt, to begin construction of Skrull-based space ships as emergency escape vehicles, in case something happens to the DoomPortals at the colonies.
>>
>>24533974
Splendid. Charles if you wish for more independence we may be able to arrange something later under more specific terms you and I can negotiate at length.
But in that case i would be less able to defend your people and have less authority and thus ability to maintain any infrastructure like your emergency portals

You have as much time as you need for any thing you choose.
>>
>>24534042
Reassure them that despit the mutants would be a protectorate of Latravia they may come and go as they please through a Doomportal and that while give them this place to stay it should not be a place to harbour Terrorists an Vigilantes
>>
>>24533974
In addition to these
>>24534042
>>24534081
We must also have a Doombot file the proper paperwork with the United Nations to register the new colony and its legal status as a protectorate of Latveria.

Speaking of the UN, how goes the UN Peacekeeping mission in Syria?
Were the servo-guards painted white with blue on their heads, to conform to UN Peacekeeper colors? And while technically unnecessary, can we afford a fleet of white-painted Hind helicopter gunships to swoop into the country?
This must not only be a successful mission, but a statement, that the UN Peacekeeping Mission is backed by the full fury and might of the Latverian Army.
>>
>>24534128
Hmm...how should we handle this?
Isn't Magneto considered an international terrorist?
How do we handle the mutants that want to immigrate, but are considered international criminals and terrorists?
>>
>>24534262
fuk u shield we in mars
huehuehuehuehue
>>
>>24534042
I should check harder
"Of course, mutants are varied people, so it is difficult to say. I suppose everything that would be needed for anyone. The walls should probably be a lot thicker though. If you will be assembling the site via robots, it may serve well to leave them there, so solve any problems we may encounter with unsuitable living conditions"

>>24534081
Though it may seem like an inconsequental usage, I could travel back in time to establish the colonies in the past so that they will be ready
>>24534111
"I'm glad this went so amicably. This doesn't normally seem like the sort of thing everyone walks away from. Of course, I'm not, but that wasn't your fault"

Once again, I'll have to wrap it up here. If anyone has any concerns with the quest they want to voice, by all means do so, and I'll try to improve as much I can. I'll be back same time tomorrow, and I'll read anything written from the archives. Good night!

>>24534273
Truly a masterful diplomat plot.

10/10 would execute without revision
>>
>>24534273
No, no, that's not the way to go about it.
"We have yet to sign an extradition treaty with the nations in which these crimes were committed; as such, we legally cannot extradite them to your custody at this time. Please go through the United Nations sub-committee on International Law for the proper forms."
>>
>>24534304
>go back in time
I don't think that will be necessary, as well as potentially damaging to the timeline.

Instead, simply increase worker robot construction at those foundries that are internationally known and not the hidden ones.

Let's get the legality of things out of the way, like in here >>24534219
>>
>>24534262
I'm fairly sure we are too
>>
>>24534262
In regards to magneto I am unsure but given just how much an influence he has on his fellow mutants he may just have to be spared due to the political shitstorm denying him would bring. however I think at least for now we should do a thorough background check in regards to all mutamts wishing to apply for mars Residence and grounding those that are flagged on latravian soil until we can sort them out
>>
How is the UN going to stop American Mutants from leaving?
Magnus will probably just makes some metal balls and just do like, 30 round trips to drop off all of the mutants.
>>
>>24534427
>What is sweet sweet Diplomatic immunity?
>>
>>24534515
>How is the UN going to stop American Mutants from leaving?
It's not a matter of the regular mutant leaving, but of criminals and international terrorist mutants trying to use Mars as a hiding place.

>>24534532
Actually, it's
>what is political asylum
>>
>>24534219
Paperwork is my job, sir. If I might make a humble request, however, I may need a new hand before filling out more forms. It is awfully selfish of me but I prefer my right

The servo guards were given a uniform to wear, as they are humanoid enough to wear them, and they had a lot of spare mediums.

They are mostly placed to defend, as the situation has settled somewhat at the moment. It looks set to resume shortly however

Gunships are within budget, though you may wish to construct a superior design
>>
>>24534559
No its Diplomatic immunity since we are the ruler of our own country
>>
>>24534560
>Gunships are within budget, though you may wish to construct a superior design
Use any we have lying around. They are unnecessary beyond making medical and material transport slightly more efficient. We do not need to make or design anything new for the moment... But a hover bored based unarmed transport may be a fun distraction. Any proceeds will go in Valeria's trust as it is derived from her invention and as such we will also add no weapons.
>>
>>24534628
Ah, you're right. I was thinking of what US emigrant mutants will claim if the US tries to stop them.
>>
>>24534304
other than dropping the name and trip a lot you do very well.

It may help to be more clear who is saying what but you use context to make it understandable at least on a second reading.
>>
>>24534705
Good point, I really should have done that. I'll do that from now on
Goodnight all, and sorry I can only do this in 4 hour intervals. Uni's over soon though, so I should be able to do more shortly
>>
1: we still need to contact Steven Strange to discuss the particulars if the school, and potentially the particulars of our mother's rescue.

2: we've found Vibranium on Mars. While we may not have the technology to refine it and exploit it as fully as Wakanda does, we can exploit its most basic properties. Powdering it and mixing i into the mortar/adobe/stucco of a building would prevent many mutant powers from knocking through said buildings. Back that up with low-yield force field reinforcement and the mutant colony should stand up to most mutant 'accidents'.

3: send T'Challa a gift of some martian Vibranium, explaining where we got it.

4: We really need to push the UN for a seat on the WSC. And whoever controls SWORD as well, since Mars and the Skrull Invasion technically falls under their jurisdiction. Doom fixed their fuckup as well.

5: We need to make a list of mutant criminals that we won't allow on Mars. Get Magneto and Xavier to help flesh out the list but the core is Sinister and Dark Beast. As much as their assistance would help us map the mutant genome, they are unpredictable, underhanded, and unethical by Doom's standards. They will not turn Mars into their own private playhouse if horrors.

6: to alleviate Xavier's concerns, allow Beast to look over the programming we'll use on a new model Doomknight, it will be incapable of firing at mutants, only external threats. Then we will design peace-keeping and police gear and help design a precinct system fir the establishment of a mutant-only police force to handle any crime that springs up in the colony. Doom's generosity will ensure that there is no poverty to drive desperation crimes, but personal vendettas and arguments do form.

7: how goes the plans to export excess food to Africa via doombot? They can act as emissaries. Britain once conquered a large portion of the land in africa with muskets. We will both secure, educate, and conquer the hearts and minds of africa with food (and doombots).
>>
>>24538415
I am for everything but altering the Doom bots, we want them able to shoot to kill anything, we order the police one is great.
>>
>>24538801
We don't want them to be viewed as Sentinels with different faces. We want the mutants to trust them. And us.
>>
>>24534705
>other than dropping the name and trip a lot you do very well.

Seconding! I <3 doom quest.

Also, regarding keeping the trip: I use firefox, and tell it to remember the password - the fields for it count as savable, even though they're not, so it just keeps the trip forever
