The town is... actually not that much smaller than your old hometown. You had been expecting some quaint little villiage, but it was actually quite modern and actually a bit crowded- though the Japanese never did seem to have a huge problem with that. Another thing is just how friendly the people were. You weren't used to strangers waving or greeting you so often- it was even more surprising considering how insular you'd heard Japanese society tended to be.

The town has all the amenities- Various shops and markets, a karaoke bar, a library, a few restaurants, even a KFC. Remarkably well equiped for floating twenty miles out in the open ocean. It was literally just a town, complete with small rolling hills and woods on it's outskirts, sitting on top of a gigantic ship.

The PanzerKraft Armored Emporium is really not much more than a hobby shop- sure there are some small pieces of equipment here and there- sites, a few suspension sets and roadwheel replacements. Most of the store, however, seems to be several eisles of model tanks. "Oh! You're new around here. Don't see many gaijin in here- guess you're part of the crew of that new tank they're bringing aboard?"

You open your mouth and then close it. "How-?" You started.

The man, slightly older and starting to bald, laughs. "Yukari called me about 20min ago, talking a mile a minute about some new tank. Said it was a Pershing and it had a male crew from America." He gives a thoughtful look. "Ain't that something, a male tank crew on Oorai."

You're looking around as he chats with you when you see it- sitting on a plastic head. It's shiny, olive drab finish completed with three white stars emblazoned on it's front and a pair of seemingly over-sized driving goggles strapped above them.

"So, can I help find anything, friend?" The shopkeeper asks. It calls to you at a level you cannot understand.

You reply flatly, pointing at the helmet. "I want that."
