Caster informs me that she's going to be spending most of the morning getting her new base ready, but will be able to start investigating the runes by early afternoon. Rider mentions in passing that she switched back to Sakura the night before, and Saber is informed by Caster when she asks that she would be able to pass her back to my ownership by dinner at the latest.

Satsuki seems concerned about knowing all this is going on, until Arcueid tells her that if anybody questions it to tell them that she's considered to be under her personal protection. Effective forever.

Sakura contributes little directly, but nods and listens attentively to what everyone else has to say.

Currently the discussion is veering towards finding out what Zouken's up to since he's been quiet for too long, and trying to decipher the runes.

Oh and it accelerates Ilya's transformation into the grail, which mind you she is even less resistant than Iris and once Berserker finally runs out of juice and returns it's very likely that his massive energy may severely degrade her condition if not push her over.

I mean, let's say that people get piles and piles of shit piled on top of them, until they act horribly.


But let's take those same people, and instead have them be only in advantageous -- or just non-stressful -- situations. Make it easy to be good, or harder or unnecessary to be bad.

So if they would be horrible if in horrible circumstances, but might be good in good circumstances... doesn't that sorta imply that human beings adapt to (or snap because of) their situation and stimuli? Like water poured into a bowl, or a glass of water cracked and made to spill all that water?

But then again, I don't really give a fuck about myself. I consider the world around me to be interesting and think that most people have more drive in their life than me. So I can't say no when someone needs help, especially when it's really important.
During times where my behaviour is not of importance I tend to procrastinate and disappoint everyone. Personally I hate the artificial way our society is structured - It started in school, when you were praised for even the shittiest work and it hasn't changed yet. Success is entirely unrelated to effort. Except when it's something that no human controls. Then you actually need to utilize your skills.
...I should really find a job where my mentality would motivate me.

How's this for a plan?

We let Kirei kill Zouken, but not Assassin. Instead, we make him form a Servant contract with Shirou. Once that's done, we make Assassin spill everything he knows of what Zouken knows about the Grail.

This way, we also don't need to cause whatever Grail vessel unnecessary burden, at least for the moment.

After all, Kirei is the overseer of the war. He shouldn't just up and kill a Servant unless in extreme circumstances. Its not ASSASSIN'S fault Zouken forced him to attack Kirei, and we happen to be a Master without a Servant...

If we got him we'd damn near have a Servant monopoly, and nobody gives a single fuck about True Assassin so we'd finally have an expendable minion to throw at people.

Now, Kirei will probably make up some excuse, but his reply might be very telling as to his true motivations.

Going to meet Zouken before Kirei kills him seems like a very good way to either piss Kirei off or get Kirei killed.

I'm against it, personally. We only want to talk to him because of Ilya and Merlin already said he's looking into a way to save her.
