Smiling a little sadly, you turn and carry them down the stairs.

As you enter your living room, your father stands, grinning mischievously, his hands behind his back. Knowing he's an artificer, you look at him warily. "What've you got, dad?" you ask, nervously.
Barely able to contain his excitement, he whips out the package from behind him and reveals.....a book. A plain book. It's rather large, that's IS true, but it seems like a everyday dictionary. Cocking your head, you look at it warily. "What've you done with that book?"

"I am no normal book!" For a second, you are stunned, and unsure of the source of the voice. Then, it dawns upon you. You look downward, and in your father's hand, the "ordinary book" now floats.
