After running around in a circle you are coming down the same way you just ate the shark in from the same direction, moving with tremendous amounts of momentum at a blinding speed.

You spot the soul reaper kneeling where he has just finished sending off the little girl to the other side. He looks down at his radar, which is beeping like crazy, probably looking for where he needs to catch up with his fellows. You rush up at him, jaws open wide, and just before you can snap down on him he wedges his sword between your jaws as you slam into his stance.

Well that won't do at all! There's a crack forming in your mask, but you manage to force him back with a slash to the chest that knocks him backwards several lengths down the way.

If you want to fight this soul reaper you probably have a few moments, but if you take too long escape may prove difficult.

You manage to slip through the portal, unfortunately the lower third of your body is not so lucky and is eviscerated as you move through. You spend the next several minutes writhing in agony as your body regenerates itself, and you ponder pulling apart the Shinigami limb by limb next time you meet.

White sand shifts beneath your paws as you slip inside. The small cavern is protected by a pair of Adjuchas, who let you in knowing you aren't a threat. That's what makes places like this work really, you aren't worth anyone here's time to eat and you aren't a threat to them. At least not yet anyway. Places like this seem to exist to forge relationships between the powers that be in Hueco Mundo and up and coming hollows who might become Menos one day.

Inside of the cavern are a number of Menos Grande milling about, and the sheer force of the spiritual pressure makes it hard to move. As though oblivious to your sluggishness a handful of Adjuchas affiliated with one another push past you on business even as you and a number of other non-Menos hollows mingle in the shadows, listening to whispers and sharing rumors.

The tremendous spiritual pressure of the stronger hollows really does serve to prevent violence and eating. You find yourself lurking with a group of three others, a Dog, an insect-like bipedal hollow, and a Panther. They fade between their own conversation and listening in as a pair of nearby Adjuchas discuss the taste of Soul Reaper.

"I've heard rumors that there's an old battlefield in a hidden valley where there's a literal feast of souls to eat. We should get some more of us together and go raid it." The Dog hollow opines.

The Insect chitters in agreement with the Dog.

You tentatively agree to the idea, but only if you can get enough Hollows together to move in security. In the back of your mind though you resolve to devour anyone who gives you an opening, especially if things go south.

Conversation turns to other business, such as changes in the way Soul Reapers have been conducting patrols and throwing in and incorporating task forces as support for individual Shinigami working their own beats. Apparently you aren't the only one who's been stymied by this. They talk about the way these patrols are organized and ideas are bantered back and forth about what to do about them. Some like the idea of traveling in force, while others seem to think faster and better planned snatches of souls are more likely to work in the face of such tactics.

At the talk of Soul Reaper forces the Adjuchas perk up and listen to you rather than vice versa. It seems that everyone gets something out of this relationship.

And now I must be off. If someone wouldn't mind archiving this that would be dandy.
