Is it wrong to have your characters main motivation as 'to score with sexy alien/foreign/monstergirl women' (choose your flavour of those) in a semi-serious game? I think it is a valid goal and I would roleplay accordingly with a slightly slapstick feel but I wouldn't want to come off as That Guy. Thoughts?
Depends on the settingWould probably be allright in the Mass Effect universe
Say its a homage to Kirk.

That wasn't the goal of mine. That was part of her background. She was and elf several hundred years old, living in the mountains and mining diamonds, gestalted 14th level Rogue+Witch in PF (with skill masteries in maxed rank Stealth, Climb, Acrobatics, Sense Motive, Spellcraft, Knowledge Geography, and Knowledge Nature). She was literally a ghost in the woods and mountains, and one of the most powerful things living in it, able to assassinate or curse with impunity most things that existed in her territories. Avoiding normal civilization for so long, she became a sort of spirit or deity to the nomadic tribes of gnolls that lived in the area, and she would occasionally wander through their camps and enjoy herself in quite a number of ways, in addition to protecting them from other tribes of evil humanoids. As a result she was worshiped as the ghost-goddess of the mountains, and they would "sacrifice" young gnolls to her, sending them into the forests to find her. They might stay a while and learn from her, becoming magically powerful or cunning leaders, or they would be eaten by various mountain and forest dwelling monsters. She was a fun character.

Unless we are talking about a campaign where everyone in your group is also having a single one dimensional character concept, in an adventure which is suppose to be almost cartoonist. Then no. Playing a character whose sole goal is to get laid is "That guy." You are being "That Guy" and you don't know it, your don't realize it. So I'm telling you "No. Stop being that guy".Now. Lets take Captain Kirk for completely random reasons. One of his best known traits is being a womanizer. Aside from bad ye-old-tv-days of writing style looking to get laid all the time was never Krik's intention or goals. He was a captain who attempted to put his ship first and galactic exploration as an over all goal. Womanizing was a character trait in Kirk, but not his goal, and not his drive. (Well a different kind of drive). If you want to have a similar trait in your character that is more than fine, but you'd need a better primary goal. Otherwise you pretty much are that guy.2 Cents.

>>23501663This guy is also on /tv/ now.>>30641919
>>23506959>>23507004Right now there are 11 quest threads or (ugh) meta threads about quests on /tg/ out of 150-ish threads.Of these, three are no longer active and are falling off the board. That's less than 10% of all threads currently on the board. Pages are irrelevant thanks to the inbuilt catalog and numerous offsite catalogs. Hiding threads and filtering are now standard features of 4chan.
>>23501663Jesus fucking christ.It's happening.
>>23507074You mean >>>/tv/30641919 ?
>>23507104It already hit the 300 posts, sage is pointless.
>>23507120Should be stickied.
You could probably run the entire eastern seaboard off the amount of anger coming off the various boards right now.I mean, one word just caused four different boards to throw a shitfit.
>>235072174?I count 3
>>23507217four different boards? Holy shit someone link this stuff
>>23507312The /jp/ thread was deleted by mods./tv/ isn't really reacting.and /tg/by my count.
I haven't seen a concentrated example of stupidity like this since that guy on /v/ said FPS doesn't mean anything for 2D.
>>23507385I thought /co/ was involved, too.
a little notice: we are in autosage, so maybe it's time to take the last screenshots before the thread dies. Everyone clean up after yourself and put the seats back to their original position
>>23507634Fuck off faggot, it's called a bump limit, and it'll be in two archives.
>>23507802It's autosage you fuckin newfag. From krautchan.
>>23508166Someone got banned once for that exact post ( Except the word "fuckin" had a "g" at the end of it and minus the krautchan part) because the person they were replying to was Moot himself.Moot himself has said it's called the bump limit, not autosage.
>>23508257That was the joke, you autistic shitfucker.
>>23508289You're seriously still using autism as an insult? What is this, 2010?
>>23508331Fuck off already
>>23508331Your reply was literally autistic, though. It was god damn definition of autism. Your post number is most likely going to get into fucking Miriam-Webster. Congratulations, dipstick.
>>23508353>>23508334And yet, you're the ones getting so angry about it.
>>23508257I am moot and I support this message.
